We had just arrived at where Playmaker, and Ai together are facing a custom made SOLTis AI that King had personally created with the strength, and possible evolutions of the Demon Duelist Zarc during the Dimensional War now as their greatest challenge or else King will win in the end despite he lost. Now it's up to them.
"The last time we fought against Zarc he nearly beat every one of us, and they don't have the Natural Energy cards." Master Destiny frowned.
"In other words, this is the closest thing to an impossible duel we've ever seen." Varis replied.
"This is Playmaker, and Ai right now." Unnamed said to them, "They have a chance against this guy doesn't he? They have Link Summoning, Cyberse Cards, and an advantage since Pendulum Summoning doesn't have the advantages as it did before due to Link."
"It's only slightly weaker." Magician pointed out. "LID made Link stronger even with Link Rules."
"All we can do is wait and see what happens." Earth noted calmly.
"I'm looking for a challenge so I'll give you both a handicap. I'll let one of you go first." Zarc smirked to them.
Ai blinked with his now human eyes, "He's letting one of us go first?"
"It's so he can see how our strategies work, and evaluate how he can counteract that. Either way we better not waste this chance." Playmaker told him, "I'll start us off." With his Ignis' nod Playmaker looked at his hand before calling, "I start off by discarding Dotscaper from my hand to summon Bitrooper!"

"Ai is based on Playmaker so it's natural the two are in sync like this." Aqua mentioned to her.

Ai called, "Hold that thought! I activate the face-down, RA.I. te of Battle!" A trap of Ai's Ignis form holding Dark Templar's sword was in a Data Storm against a silhouette of Playmaker.

"Here it comes." Violet Prince frowned.
"He isn't using a Fusion Card, or have Z-ARC?" Master Destiny however asked in shock.

"And now Starving Venom! Attack that Link Monster!" Zarc called as Starving Venom readied an attack, "And due to it's new ability it gains 1000 points during battle!"

"What? You two didn't lose points?" Zarc asked seeing that.

Melodic Angel let out a sigh of relief hearing that.
Zarc only shrugged, "Ah well that didn't mattered much. Still with one less card on your field, RA.I. te of Battle's ability shortens so my monsters gain some points."

Zarc however had a counter, "Don't think so! I activate Supreme Aura's other effect!" The weakened dragon vanished which stopped the Cyberse's attack, "During Battle I return it back to my Extra Deck, and summon two Supreme King's in it's place! Jorgen, Eternity welcome back!"

"Not eXceed Dragon?" Baira questioned.
"He doesn't need to." Emperor told her, "Even if he did lower eXceed Dragon's points it wouldn't do any good. With the way the two done their field Linkuriboh's points aren't enough to get passed Jorgen's 1100 defense points after one of the two other Cyberses finish Eternity, and Jorgen. That would mean eXceed Dragon's 4000 points can't deal any damage this turn, and he also reduced Quantum Dragon's points to make it powerless, and unable to break through."
"You're wrong, weakening Cyberse Quantum Dragon was a mistake." Magician told him. 'Yusaku can still use it to get rid of Jorgen.'
"Alright since the target of the attack is gone, I can have eXceed Dragon attack something else. Like that Gate Eternity!" Playmaker called as eXceed Dragon set it's sights on Gate Eternity destroying it, "And then Quantum Dragon attacks Jorgen!"
"What?" Zarc asked hearing that.
"Quantum Dragon's ability then sends Jorgen back to the hand!" Playmaker called as Quantum Dragon made the lesser dragon vanish, "And now Transcode Talker attacks Supreme Priestess!"

"What?" Ai questioned.
"I activate the trap, Supreme Escape!" Zarc called.

"She can't be destroyed in battle?" Abyss Manager frowned.
"The turn Supreme Escape activates, Supreme Kings in my Extra Monster Zones can't be destroyed." Zarc explained.
"At the very least they did dealt damage. Maybe not a whole lot, but better then nothing." Unnamed mentioned.
"Maybe, but I have a bad feeling about this." Ghost Girl admitted. "Especially if he's as strong as you guys said he was."

"Come on..." Melodic Angel whispered.
Zarc called, "Your gonna have to do better! I activate Supreme Escape's other effect! I send it to the graveyard to end the battle!" The trap vanished as Dark Templar's sword stopped inches from Priestess.
"So close." Fright Master frowned.
Dark Templar backed of as Ai admitted, "At all honestly don't except that attack to get through..." Looking at his hand he said, "I'll end my turn with that."

At that what flew in was a pink, and white dragon shaping as Starving Venom but with Odd-Eyes' eyes around his body roaring.

"At the very least I did weaken it before he used that effect..." Ai trailed off seeing that.
"It's enough to help us survive." Playmaker told him.
"Maybe but not unscathe... Venom Dragon attacks Water Leviathan!" Zarc called as Venom Dragon charged an attack, "Due to the effect Venom Dragon took Water Leviathan's points are halved during battle!"
"You seem to forget something!" Ai called, "I still have the card Hiyari allowed into my hand! Remember this card?" He reveals Danmari that he added with Hiyari earlier.
"What good will that do?" Zarc questioned.
"What the good will be is that when you attack, I can summon Danmari Ignister from my hand to negate your attack!" Ai pointed out as the card appeared froming a shield for Water Leviathan blocking the attack.

"What are you talking about?" Soulburner asked them.
Knowing what their talking about Akira asked them, "You mean that big dragon that appeared in Duel Academy?"
"No... the one Magician used against us." Moon Dancer answered.
"Raging Dragon..." Phantom trailed off the name, "If Zarc manages to summon that one... Ai, and Playmaker will be in serious trouble."
"Wait a second you guys, remember the Supreme Rage trap he used against Declan?" Fright Master mentioned suddenly. "What if he can bring out all four of them at once?"
"He has to control Z-ARC in order to use that card." D/D Executive answered that question, "Along with them dealing 2000 points of damage in a single attack if they break through it's defenses."
"I think what he meant was that if he did summon those four dragon along with Z-ARC there's be almost no way for them to win." Master Destiny pointed out.
"I know. I am merely stating the positive side of things." D/D Executive pointed out himself.
"Well for their sakes, I just hope they can win before they get to that point." Crimson King noted.

My symbol as the newest Charisma Duelist, and now it's with me throughout the end as it should've been...'
Ai, and Nyx both can sense what their partner, and brother respectfully is thinking about.

Turning back to Zarc, Playmaker continued his move, "With Scrypton's ability as it's used to Link Summon, I shuffle Balancer Lord back to my Deck! I now summon ROM Cloudia!"

"I return Rescue Interlacer, and Danmari Ignister to me, and Ai's hands!" Playmaker called as the monsters exited out of the graveyard allowing the two to collect them.
"So now Playmaker can reduce battle damage again while I negate an attack." Ai grinned seeing that.
"That was a smart move." Earth nodded.
"And now, I activate Cynet Fusion!" Playmaker called.

"With this you can strike a whole lot of damage. Though Clock Dragon's pretty much the only monster you can attack with when Cyberse Clock-Up is used." Ai said to him.
"Then it's a good thing I'm not done." Playmaker told his Ignis, "Cause I'm using Accesscode's own ability!" Accesscode readied his javelin.
"Wait, how many attributes are in the graveyard?" Melodic Angel asked.
"Four, Light, Dark, Earth, and Fire." Specter answered remembering the effect of Accesscode.
"Then that's four cards he can destroy." Moon Dancer smiled.
"Three actually." Shepherd told her before saying, "From knowing Playmaker, and his Ignis I can tell that he wouldn't banish Fire Phoenix unless Ai's own strategies will be hindered cause of it."
"She said can destroy, not will destroy." Songbird pointed out.
"With it's ability I destroy a card by banishing a Link Monster from the field or graveyard! As long as that monster has a different Attribute, I can keep using this effect!" Playmaker called as Zarc grunted, "I banish the LIGHT, Encode Talker to destroy Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon! Access Integration!"
Accesscode throw his spear destroying Venom Dragon as Zarc grunted crying, "I can still use it's ability! Since you destroyed it Gate Zero summons itself from my Pendulum Zone!"

"And I'm guessing that includes Z-ARC?" Varis inquired.
"Sadly yes." Magician answered.
Playmaker called, "I banish the DARK Cyberse Witch to destroy Gate Zero! Access Integration!" Accesscode charged it's javelin destroying Gate Zero, "I now banish the EARTH Transcode Talker to destroy Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon again! Access Integration!"
Accesscode threw it's javelin again only for Zarc to call, "Not this time! Supreme Gate's effect activates! Cards in my Pendulum Zones are unaffected to your effects!" The javelin bounced off.
"Of course he had a defense." Crimson King frowned.
"Then in that cause Clock Dragon attacks Supreme Priestess! Pulse Pressure!" Playmaker called as Clock Dragon charged an attack.
"Sorry but no you don't! I activate Supreme Show!" Zarc called as he activated a trap showing himself with his four original dragons including another.

"No idea, but it has more defense points than the others so it might focus on a defensive ability." Magician guessed.

"So they don't have anything to worry about." Soulburner mentioned.
"No... they have something very bad to worry about." Magician told him.

"All we can do is wait and see." D/D Executive noted calmly.
"Battle! Earth Golem attacks Clear Wing!" Ai called as Earth Golem charged in, "Earth Golem's ability activates! When it battles a Monster summoned from the Extra Deck it's attack points are doubled!"

"That's 2100 points of damage." Fright Master grinned.
Earth Golem punched Clear Wing destroying it, and dealing a critical blow to Zarc. (Zarc: 2100)

"Yeah, but the real duel is about to begin." D/D Executive reminded him.
"Light Dragon's other ability activates! Since a different Ignister dealt you damage we can summon a Link Monster back from the graveyard! So I'll summon back Fire Phoenix Ignister!"
What rose up Fire Phoenix again screeching.

"I draw!" Zarc drew looking before calling, "Before we can get started we first have to greet our ruler. I start off by activating Supreme Law!" The spell had Yuya in his real world form, Zarc behind him, and also behind them was a huge dragon.

Ai grunted as Zarc raised his arm, "Astrograph Sorcerer, I banish you along with my five Legendary Dragons to unleash our true potential! Channel the energies of my Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Odd-Eyes flew up with Astrograph Sorcerer as it meditated, "My Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" Dark Rebellion exited the graveyard beside Odd-Eyes, "My Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!" Clear Wing also exited the graveyard flying at the other side. "My Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!" Starving Venom flew in beside Clear Wing. "And my Forgotten Soul Ritual Dragon!" Forgotten Soul flew in behind Astrograph Sorcerer as they all glowed, "Let the reunion begin!"
Astrograph Sorcerer raised it's staff glowing before it vanished as a Fusion Vortex appeared where all five of the dragons entered.
"Integration Summon." Master Destiny frowned. "The move that beat us."
"Yeah, and it's about to beat them too." Fright Master agreed before frowning. "So... who's next?"
"Controlling the Five Heavenly Dragons, the ultimate dragon who reigns in the sixth dimension! Right now it becomes one with me! Integration Summon! Come forth, Supreme King Z-ARC!"
Black smoke, and red lightning crackled around as they braced themselves looking in as something materialized before what flapped the smoke away was a large black dragon that's also green with red eyes roaring.

Playmaker grunted, "Never would I have imagined I faced Supreme King Z-ARC itself."
"Well now you get more cause with my arrival ALL of your cards are destroyed!" Zarc called as red lightning crackled on their field.
"All of them?" Skystar asked in horror as all of Playmaker and Ai's cards were destroyed.
Ai grunted before calling, "Well before it goes, I activate the trap, A.I. Shadow!"

"This card's effect allows me to give Light Dragon an additional 800 attack points, and your monsters have to attack it!" Ai called as the lightning struck their field as Ai grunted, "And as A.I. Shadow left the field by your effect, and now in the graveyard I can draw another card!" He drew at that looking at his drawn card.
"At least he managed to get another card." Varis noted.
"Wait, what's going on? The duel should be over." Fright Master mentioned.
"He's right, Z-ARC deals damage equal to the destroyed monsters total attack points." Master Destiny added confused.
Playmaker was also confused, "Z-ARC isn't inflicting damage?"
"King upgraded his Deck, Playmaker. That also means he might've changed the effects of Z-ARC." Ai suggested to Playmaker. That was before he suddenly grinned, "Or..." The smoke cleared showing Light Dragon with it's boost, Firewall Dragon, and Earth Golem survived the destruction effect along with Rebuilding Cyberse World.
Light Dragon: (ATK: 2300 + 800 = 3100)
"What the, how did he do that?" Hyperdrive questioned only to pause. "I mean, not that I'm complaining but still, how?"
Phantom notices something, "Hey look at Light Dragon!" They all looked at Ai's Xyz monster. Otherside from it's attack boost they also noticed something else. (ORU: 0)
"It's other Overlay Unit is gone!" Frightfur Master said seeing that.
Ai explained, "From the moment his ability activated, I activated Light Dragon's other ability to where by using an Overlay Unit our monster's won't be destroyed." He then gestured to his Spell, "In addition Rebuilding Cyberse World can defend itself by destroying a Cyberse on my field. You might've noticed Fire Phoenix is missing from the bunch but that's because I destroyed him with Rebuilding Cyberse World to protect it."
"A small price compared to losing the entire match." Specter commented.
Ai then called as the graveyard portal opened, "And there's one more detail I'm sure you all have not forgotten..." A flaming Fire Phoenix rose out as he called, "As Fire Phoenix was destroyed due to an effect your monster goes down with it! In addition this doesn't target!"
Fire Phoenix screeched charging at Z-ARC ready to burn it to ashes.
"It won't work, Z-ARC is indestructible." Crimson King told him.
Zarc smirked before calling, "Stupid! I can't be destroyed by your cards!" Z-ARC grabbed Fire Phoenix with it's hand forming a power struggle for a few seconds before Fire Phoenix vanished as Z-ARC lowered it's hand.
Ai grunted seeing that, "Well shoot thought we got him for sure..."
"They survived, but it's going to take a miracle to pull off a victory now." Abyss Manager whispered nervously.
"Well even though Fire Phoenix's effect didn't work you still have to attack Light Dragon!" Ai reminded to his powered up Xyz Monster.
"Any reason why he didn't do that on Earth Golem?" Emika asked them, "With it's ability to double it's points it would've mean Zarc will take a lot of damage."
"I doubt it would work. Gate Zero, and Gate Infinity reverses that damage to LP. But with Gate Infinity's new Pendulum ability now I say Gate Zero makes it where Zarc won't take damage." Melodic Angel explained to her.
"So the attack will only do minimal at best..." Varis trailed off hearing that.
"This is bad, I don't know what they can do to turn this one around." Master Destiny frowned. "The only way we managed to beat him was for everyone to work together and even then we barely pulled it off."
Zarc then gestured to Gate Infinity, "Since you raised your monster's points, I can use Gate Infinity's Pendulum Ability! As I have myself on the field, I can gain Life Points equal to the attack points of one of your own monsters! And Light Dragon fits the description!"
Ai grunted as Gate Infinity glowed at Light Dragon while Zarc closed his eyes healing. (Zarc: 5200)
"No way... is this even possible?" Soulburner questioned. "A monster that powerful, that can't be destroyed and he recovers life points every turn."
"And by the way with Battle for Supremacy all Supreme Kings are treated as Dragons, and Spellcasters, and gain 300 points!"

"The fangs of rebellion who live in the pitch black darkness, give in and obey me! Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion!"
From that what emerged from the Overlay Network was the corrupted Dark Rebellion from before roaring.

"I knew we'd face this thing sooner..." Playmaker grunted seeing that.
"And I had to bet my hair on this one, and say it's dangerous." Ai guessed at that.
Zarc then smirked, "Due to the effect of Battle of Supremacy my dragon gains points, and is also a Spellcaster!"

"And now! Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion will attack Light Dragon Ignister!" Zarc called as the corrupted dragon charged forward at Ai's Xyz Monster.
"Your attacking with a lower attack power?" Ai asked seeing that.
"During battle by using one of Dark Rebellion's Overlay Units, Dark Rebellion steals all of Light Dragon's attack points!" Zarc revealed as his Dragon took an Overlay Unit as it fired lightning from his wings striking Light Dragon causing it to roar as Dark Rebellion took it's power.

Ai grunted before quickly calling, "Hold on, Zarc! Did you forget about earlier!? Playmaker allowed me to use this card again! Danmari Ignister shield us!"
Danmari reappeared forming the barrier which Dark Rebellion hit but backed off afterward.

"That helps, but it can only save them once." Windy pointed out.
"I'm just getting started! Alright, now I attack Light Dragon Ignister!"
From that Z-ARC roared charging a large energy blast that's yellow in it's mouth blasting it Light Dragon as Playmaker moved to play a card only for Ai to stop him, "Keep your card Playmaker!"
"Huh?" Playmaker asked confused.
Ai then called, "I have another Hand Trap just for you Zarc!"
"Wha-Again?" Zarc asked surprised hearing that.
"By discarding Donyoribo from my hand any battle damage we take involving an Ignister on our field becomes 0!" Ai called discarding the card.
Zarc shrugged stating, "But your monster's destroyed."
Light Dragon was engulfed in the blast destroyed as the two grunted not taking damage.
"Ai..." Aqua whispered.
Zarc then smirked, "You may have stopped the damage but as I destroyed your monster in battle, I can summon a new Supreme King from either my Extra Deck... Or my Deck itself."
"His deck?" Blue Angel asked nervously.
Zarc taking a card placed it on his Duel Disk.
"Kin with dichromatic eyes, burn all your enemies caught by your sharp eyes! Appear! Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes!"
What rose up was this time a corrupted Odd-Eyes roaring beside Z-ARC.

Zarc called as Odd-Eyes' orbs glowed charging a blast firing it at Earth Golem which engulfed him destroying him, "And when any of Pendulum Monsters deals damage that damage is doubled! Reaction Force!" The orbs glowed brighter which made the attack grow more intense as the two grunted from the attack. (Playmaker/Ai: 2000)
"You guys beat him before right? Can we do anything to help?" Soulburner questioned.
"As much as it pains me we leave this to Playmaker, and Ai." Artic Witch admitted.
"Big brother..." Nyx whispered fearfully.
The two stood up grunting before Ai called, "Well here's something else Zarc! Since you destroyed Earth Golem, WE get to summon a Cyberse from the graveyard!"
The two looked at each other nodding before they both called, "Appear! Clock Wyvern!"
Clock Wyvern emerged from the graveyard roaring.

"Clock Wyvern's ability activates! When summoned, I summon a Clock Token!" Playmaker called as the token appeared beside him, "In exchange Clock Wyvern's attack points are halved."

"Then by Tributing my Clock Token, I summon back Linkuriboh!" Playmaker called as the Token vanished only for Linkuriboh to pop up.

"What... Playmaker and Ai?" Gore asked weakly while getting up.
"And then Firewall Dragon's own ability activates!" Playmaker called as Firewall Dragon glowed, "When a monster next to it's link goes to the graveyard, I can summon a monster from my hand! Ai told me not to use it earlier, and this is why! Come on Rescue Interlacer!"
Rescue Interlacer popped back on the field.

"What are they planning?" Faust inquired.
'Then again the result would've been the same... But ah well a bit more fun to be in suspense.' Ai thought seeing Firewall Dragon, Linkuriboh, Clock Wyvern, and Rescue Interlacer, 'The Deck I helped him obtain worked well... I'm glad I didn't disappoint.'
Zarc seeing this only called, "During the Battle, I use Dark Rebellion's other ability! During battle I return it back to my Extra Deck, and summon two Supreme Kings in it's place! Gate Zero, Dragan! Come back!"
The two rose up.

"As Dragan was Special Summoned, I take a Supreme card from my graveyard back to my hand!" Zarc said adding back a card, "And now I Tribute both my Supreme Kings to welcome back a not so old friend!"
The two vanished before what emerged from the graveyard was the corrupted Clear Wing roaring.

"Not that thing again." Hyperdrive frowned.
"Then I equip Clear Wing with Supreme Aura!" Zarc called activating the spell he added earlier as lightning sparked on Clear Wing.

Seeing that Playmaker said, "I see. You put in Defense so in case we use effects to stop it's ability from activating you won't take damage."
"Cautious as ever, even when he has the advantage Zarc prioritizes his defenses over a straight attack." D/D Executive noted.
Zarc then called, "And that's the least your troubles... I also equip Clear Wing with Supreme Wing!"

Ai grunted hearing that, "Ah geez... Combine that on Aura, and Clear Wings own abilities all together means we can't attack unless we get those spells out of the way first."
"So... this is a duel they can win right?" Skystar inquired hesitantly.

A.I. Land reappeared at this before he added, "Then I use Rebuilding Cyberse World's effect to switch it with Cynet Storm!"
Playmaker's field spell reappeared from this as he called, "All Linked Monsters gained 500 points!"

Hyperdrive grinned seeing that. "Awesome job Playmaker."
"And now appear the circuit that leads to the future!" Playmaker called as the circuit appeared only for Degrade Buster, Linkuriboh, Clock Wyvern, Rescue Interlacer, and Danmari Ignister flew into the arrows.
"The mysterious power filling the universe! Rain down on the miracle star and create infinite life! Link Summon! Appear! Link 5! Firewall Dragon Darkfluid!"

"Huh?" the two asked hearing that.
"You remember Supreme Barrier?" Zarc asked showing the card, "Well since I have this card in my hand, I can discard it to protect myself from battle, and any damage is gone!"
A barrier build up which blocked it.
"And he had another thing..."
"Don't worry Playmaker. Both of us have a win on the horizon... If things go as we imagined... There isn't a better outcome... The monster we first gotten from Storm Access can finish this fight." Ai said softly with a grin.
Playmaker nodded placing a card down, "I end my turn." Clear Wing appears back.

"My move then!" Ai drew looking before calling, "I activate ReA.I Union's effect in the graveyard!"
"The first monster?" Soulburner asked.
"Wait wasn't that..." Violet Prince started before his eyes widened.
"This card allows me to banish the six Ignisters!" Ai called as the circuit appeared as they all entered it.
"The six shine and become one! Superior! Splendid! Stunning! Elegant! Super! Ultra super! Link Summon! Appear, Link 6! The Arrival Cyberse Ignister!"

Clear Wing roared charging in at Darkfluid. Everyone watched the attack nervously.
"Why is he doing that?" Emika voiced.
"Clear Wing's ability activates! Before calculation is applied, Clear Wing destroys your monster, and you take damage equal to it's attack points!" Zarc called as Clear Wing fired a light from his wings.
Playmaker quickly called, "I activate Darkfluid's ability! When a monster effect is activated, a remove a Counter to negate the activation!"

Zarc merely shrugged, "I'm just getting started, Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion attack Firewall Dragon!" Dark Rebellion charges at the Link 4 Cyberse who roared in defiance.
"Playmaker can counter Dark Rebellion's effect though." Arctic Witch recalled.
"By using one of Dark Rebellion's Overlay Units, Dark Rebellion steals all of Firewall Dragon's attack points, and powers itself up!" Zarc called as Dark Rebellion took an Overlay Unit. (ORU: 2 - 1)
"I activate Darkfluid's ability! Karma Gear!" Playmaker called as Darkfluid lost another counter. (Counter: 3 - 1 = 2/ATK: 14500 - 2500 = 12000) "And in addition I tribute Linkuriboh to reduce Dark Rebellion's points to 0!"
SK Dark Rebellion: (ATK: 2800 - 2800 = 0)
"A replay has occurred..." Zarc said as Dark Rebellion flew back, "But now Starving Venom had used his ability to take Cyberse Quantum Dragon's own abilities! Which allows me to attack Darkfluid with it!"
Starving Venom charged an attack glowing which Playmaker called, "Keep on doing this it won't work! Darkfluid's ability activates! Karma Gear!"
Darkfluid roared from the loss of another counter. (Counter: 2 - 1 = 1/ATK: 12000 - 2500 = 9500)
"He only has one counter left!" Blue Angel pointed out.
"And now Forgotten Soul attack Firewall Dragon!"
Forgotten Soul charged as Zarc called, "Forgotten Soul's ability activates! Your monster's attack points are halved during battle!"
Playmaker grunted, "I use my final counter! Karma Gear!"
Darkfluid: (Counter: 1 - 1 = 0/ATK: 9500 - 2500 = 7000)
Forgotten Soul was destroyed without mercy leaving just Odd-Eyes, Z-ARC, and the weakened Dark Rebellion with Zarc while Ai, and Playmaker's side lost Linkuriboh, and Darkfluid is out of Counters.
"Well... at least Odd-Eyes can't increase it's own attack points." Magician pointed out.
"And now I destroy Firewall Dragon!" Zarc called as his monster form charged an attack at Firewall Dragon, "Oh, and by the way... By banishing Judgement if I'm still standing when your monster is destroyed you take damage equal to Firewall Dragon's attack points!"
"What?" the two asked shocked. (Playmaker/Ai: 2000)
"Firewall Dragon has 2500 attack points, which means unless they can stop this damage Zarc will win." Varis said quietly.
Ai got a game plan, "Not on my watch! I activate Future with A.I.'s effect in the graveyard! By banishing this card we all Tribute 2 monsters on our field besides the ones that are battling!"
SK Dark Rebellion, Odd-Eyes, Darkfluid, and the Arrival all vanished leaving just Z-ARC, and Firewall Dragon before Ai called, "In exchange when this battle ends you can't attack anymore this turn!"
"What good will that do you?" Zarc asked.
Ai called, "That allows me to activate Gussari Ignister's ability from my graveyard! By banishing this card from the graveyard both our battling monster's attack points become 3000!"
Firewall Dragon: (ATK: 2500 + 500 = 3000)
Z-ARC: (ATK: 4300 - 1300 = 3000)
"Strike back Firewall Dragon!" the two called as Firewall changed forms to retaliate, "Tempest Terrahertz!"
Firewall fired the attack which passed by Z-ARC's that collided with the two destroying each other in a fiery explosion as Ai called, "And since Z-ARC's not on the field anymore, Judgement's effect doesn't go off so we don't take damage!"
"What the... Z-ARC... it's gone." Crimson King whispered in shock.
"King... made it vulnerable to battles?" Abyss Manager asked in confusion. "But why... why give such a powerful monster a weakness like that?"
Zarc however called, "Maybe but there is still something else. Judgement has another effect! Since you both did not took damage, I can destroy my Spells, and Traps to summon a Supreme King from the grave! Revive Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom!"
The corrupted version of Starving Venom rose up roaring.
SK Starving Venom: (Attack Position/Type: Dragon/Spellcaster/ATK: 2800 + 300 = 3100/DEF: 2000 + 300 = 2300)
"Now I'm the only one with a monster on the field." Zarc said as Starving Venom flew in front of them.
Playmaker however said, "Not for long! Cynet Closure's effect activates! When a Link Monster on our field destroys a Link Monster on your field by battle, I return the card I banished by it's effect to my graveyard!" He reveals the card, "I added back Recoded Alive!"
"A smart move." Specter noted calmly.
Ai grinned to Playmaker, "I knew that card was Recoded Alive. The reason I said the first monster we got from Storm Access can finish this."
"I activate Recoded Alive's effect from the graveyard! Since we don't have a monster in the Extra Monster Zone by banishing this card we summon a banished Code Talker!" Playmaker called as the trap vanished as the both called, "Revive, Decode Talker!"
Decode Talker rose back up readying his blade. (Attack Position)
"But Decode Talker is weaker than his monster." Nyx whispered nervously.
Zarc said to the two, "I end my turn. You both can't win at this rate."

Playmaker 5th Turn:
"We will keep going until we won!" Playmaker declared before calling, "My turn! DRAW!" He made a dramatic draw looking to see what he drawn before looking at Zarc, and back at Ai who stared at him as they remembered all the memories they done together.
Ai soon asked, "Playmaker... Was I a good partner?"
Playmaker stared before closing his eyes nodding, "Yes... You were the best partner."
"I'm glad... That makes me happy." Ai smiled with closed eyes.
Playmaker soon called, "I activate the equip spell, Cyberse Annihilation!"

If the equipped monster battles an opponent's monster, the equipped monster's ATK becomes equal to the ATK of the monster it is battling during damage calculation only. "Battle! Decode Talker attack Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom!" Playmaker called as Decode Talker charged his sword which the dragon quickly grabbed his sword in a power struggle.
"Are you blind, your monster is weaker than my servant." Zarc told him.
"Not for long! Cyberse Annihilation's effect activates!" Playmaker called as the spell glowed, "During battle Decode Talker's points are equal to Starving Venom's!"
Decode Talker: (ATK: 2300 + 800 = 3100)
Ai grinned, "Allow me to add you Playmaker... I activate the Quick-Play Spell, TA.I. Strike!"

If your " Ignister" monster would be destroyed by battle, you can banish this card from your GY instead. You can only activate 1 "TA.I. Strike" per turn.
"This is the same thing that Cyberse Annihilation does, except it has one more effect... We both take damage equal to our destroyed monsters points!" Ai revealed.
"Wait, but that would mean..." Abyss Manager started.
"It means if this battles continues Zarc will lose 6200 life points, and Playmaker and Ai will take 3100 points of damage, ending the duel in a draw." D/D Executive finished.
"No..." Varis told them, "Zarc won't take damage since Decode Talker will be destroyed which meant Cyberse Annihilation will only be good to destroy that dragon."
"You're wrong, they have a plan." Violet Prince smiled.
"So you both are planning to drag me to oblivion?" Zarc asked shocked.
Playmaker however called, "No we're not done yet! I activate my face-down, Parallel Port Armor!"

Target 1 Link Monster you control; equip it with this card. Your opponent cannot target the equipped monster with card effects, also it cannot be destroyed by battle. "By equipping this card to a Link Monster we control you can't target it with card effects!" Playmaker called as the trap equipped with Decode Talker as they both declared, "It also CAN'T BE DESTROYED IN BATTLE!"
Decode Talker: (Equipped with Cyberse Annihilation & Parallel Port Armor)
"If it can't be destroyed, that would mean..." Zarc started before his eyes widened in shock. "No, impossible!"
"Decode!" Playmaker, and Ai started as Decode Talker break the power struggle raising his sword up high with both his hands to the defenseless corrupted dragon, "END!"
Decode Talker gave a large slash striking across Starving Venom's torso as it roared in agony exploding in a huge explosion while pushing Zarc back screaming.

Playmaker/Ai wins the duel!
"They did it... they won." Fright Master whispered.
Playmaker, and Ai breathed in from some a difficult battle while Zarc looked shocked on the ground, "I... Lost... They didn't use the cards..."
Ai grunted before saying, "Sorry buddy... But I'm 'fraid your time's up." He tossed the card Pandor gave him merging it with Zarc who gasped screaming glitching before vanishing in data, "T-Threat purged..."
Playmaker closed his eyes falling forward. Violet Prince, Moon Dancer, and Nyx ran to catch him.
"Yusaku/Big Brother!" the three of them cried.
They all caught him as Moon Dancer carrying knelled with him in her arms as the rest of everyone walked over.
"Sota, is it finally truly over?" Varis asked.
Emperor looked over before smiling, "Yes it is. The AI of Zarc has been erased."
Varis nodded at that. Ai meanwhile sat down transforming back to his Ignis form breathing as the other Ignis went to him with Lightning waking up slowly.
"Ai... you did it." Aqua whispered before hugging him.
Ai looked surprised from that while Earth looked a little bothered seeing that, "Uh... thanks Aqua..."
She let go before floating to Earth as they realized it wasn't romantic.
"Ai... you're incredible." Lightning said softly.
"Lightning!" Ai cried seeing he's awake kneeling over, "You okay?"
"I've been better, and Cyberse World was destroyed a second time." Lightning frowned.
"We can rebuild it again. That's gonna happen."Ai assured him.
Lightning looked to him before saying, "Ai... You lead the Ignis now."
"He's right Ai." Windy agreed. "It should be you."
Ai looked startled before saying, "Wha-!? Me!?"
"Your much more better situated... Look at me." Lightning looked down, "I'm not worthy to lead us all... All I did was stood back, and made things worse... I destroyed Cyberse World from my haste, created Judgement Arrows to harm others, and now... Now from overlooking a fact for my future I'm not someone who should be a leader."
Ai stared at him. "I'm not a leader either... you all know that. But... maybe we don't need one."
"Easy for you to say..." Lightning looked away, "During the War with SOL... I didn't pitch in to fight... And I didn't even dueled..."
"So what?" Flame asked him. "This is a chance to restart, the Ignis don't need a leader. We need to work together as equals."
"They're correct." Earth nodded.
Lightning turned over to his fellow Ignis. They all looked at him happily.
"You guys..." Lightning trailed off before he started to tear up like how Aqua saw him that day when he was creating Judgement Arrows.
"You're not alone, not anymore." Aqua whispered softly.
Playmaker meanwhile slowly opened his eyes looking at Moon Dancer, "Mom... Should we head back home?"
"Yes... we should." she nodded.
With that they all vanished in data logging out.
Later...
Aku in his cell has closed eyes before a knocking on his bars made her turn seeing an officer said, "You have some visitors."
Who walked in was Sota, Akira, Emma, and Kenneth. Aku couldn't help but grin, "So your here for the Custom SOLTis' AI..."
"Yes... We are." Sota nodded to him.
Aku shook his head stating, "If you came to me to know how to stop it then tough luck I'm not going to-"
"Zarc was defeated." Akira told him.
"What?" Aku wasn't expecting what he had just heard turning over stunned, "The AI... SOL's desperate weapon was defeated? Impossible..."
"You underestimated Playmaker and the Dark Ignis Ai." Sota mentioned.
Aku looked down in shock, "Those two... How are they..."
"And we're here for another reason father..." He looked over to his son who closed his eyes before saying, "I'm also here... to bury the hatchet."
Akira, Emma, and Kenneth stepped back at that.
"You... what?" Aku asked hearing that.
Sota gave a soft smile to him saying, "While I was growing up you were forming me into the heir for SOL Tech, and was always by my side despite working... But when the Hanoi Project happened you grew worried where I was, and when I was rescued the trauma I took was too much for me to comprehend... But I did learn a few things. Money, and power... their not useful at different times."
He opened his eyes saying to his shell-shocked father, "You had tried to assist me by blanking my memories, and forming me into the heir by force... But you did help me by removing my trauma. I remembered it again later but I kept that a secret since I know you were only helping me not relieve those memories... I still have respect for you as I did back then, and now... Now that SOL is being lead to a new era, I want you to keep in touch with how it grows... But we have to end our problems with each other now since it's all over."
That made Aku looked down not saying anything giving some thought of his son's words.
"I hope next time we see each other... We can be civil." Sota smiled before saying to the three, "We're heading out." He turned to Aku saying, "I'll se you soon... Dad..."
They walked out as Aku stared on still in thought.
The four arrived at Cafe Nom where their hosting a celebration with Ai in his human form wearing a suit with a blue haired boy having yellow eyes, and the same suit with the five other Ignis having human forms themselves, and Pandor in a enlarged form also celebrating together from everything.
"How did your talk go?" Jin asked Sota noticing them approaching.
"He's thinking about it... But I think I convinced him." Sota smiled softly.
"We'll find out." Theodore mentioned.
Yusaku looked on before saying to Yuri, "Dad... Guess this means I'm now the strongest Duelist isn't it?"
Yuri smirked. "Yes, it does."
"Which means now your a great champion, and surpassed your father." Yuya smiled.
Yusaku gave a soft smile before admitting, "I just can't believe things had been like this... Starting all the way from the Hanoi Project..."
"But it had did us good when it did." Ai said placing a hand on his shoulder patting it, "But Roboppi is glad to be with us now."
Speaking of Roboppi they looked over seeing he's talking with Lilly optimistically but is also a bit of a flirt to her as evident by her growing blush which Ai admitted, "Though I think I might've made him a bit too smart."
"Ya think...?" Yusaku asked with a raised eyebrow before sighing, "Well... Now there is one more thing to do."
"What's that?" Skye asked him.
Yusaku told her, "Can you meet me at Link VRAINS? At the town where we first met?"
She blinked before nodding. The two headed in which Cal grinned from this, "This should be good..."
Yuri smirked. "True."
At Link VRAINS...
The two appeared at one of the buildings at the town setting where they first met ideally where Playmaker saved her from being hit by the Knight of Hanoi's Cracking Dragon.
"We've come a long way." Blue Angel smiled.
Playmaker nodded before saying, "Well first off... I'm sorry."
"Sorry?" she asked him.
He turned over saying, "From the time me, and my family spent looking for the Knights of Hanoi to have them regret for the Hanoi Project, I had dragged you into our fight, and from our times in the real world, I didn't think of talking or meeting you. Felt like I'm ignoring you from that... And that time where you, and Lilly dueled Specter, and you both lost... I didn't tell that you two were doing that sooner."
"It's ok. Everything worked out." she reassured him.
"Well what I'm trying to say is..." Playmaker said to her walking over stopping in front of her close, "I'm not gonna let anything else happen to you."
Blue Angel looked at him before her eyes widened. He takes her hand before closing his eyes kneeling before opening them with a hard resolve, "Skye Zaizen, Blue Angel... Will you marry me?"
She stared at him for a few seconds before smiling with tears. "Yes."
Playmaker gave a smile hugging her before stealing a kiss from her unaware that a lone camera had witnessed it broadcast to the city.
In the Real World...
Everyone had witnessed Playmaker, and Blue Angel's new situation.
"Should we tell them?" Rin asked.
Windy who was now a green haired boy wearing a suit similar to Sota's clothes grinned, "No... Let them find out themselves."
"Is that what you told me as a proposal?" Roboppi asked Ai.
Ai nodded with a smile, "Indeed. Which means Playmaker, and Blue Angel are gonna be husband, and wife."
"Sweet!" Roboppi grinned hearing that.
"How do you three feel?" Yuto asked Yuri, Celina, and Akira.
"I'm just happy for my son." Celina smiled.
"Same thing for my sister." Akira answered with his own smile.
"You, and Roboppi huh?" Jin asked Lilly grinning recalling he was flirting with her earlier.
She blushed and shook her head. "No."
"Jin." Miyu frowned to him which he gave a smiling shrug to which she sighed before smiling to Lilly, "Sorry about that Lilly. Jin's just up to his antics again. You don't really feel like that for Roboppi do you?"
She shook her head. "He's nice but... no."
Miyu nodded before saying, "That aside how to do you feel of your brother marrying your teacher?"
"I'm happy for them." Lilly smiled.
Once Yusaku, and Skye joined then again Lightning stood up tapping a glass with a fork, "Everyone, can I have everyone's attention?"
They all turned to him. Lightning has gold hair with yellow eyes along with wearing a robe similar to Bohman's third outfit but with the SOL Logo on the front before saying, "For the past 10 years I believed I was doomed to end all of us with me not having a future. I had done many horrible things, or made them worse from destroying our home, not aiding anyone I care about, or even using Judgement Arrows for anything else but harm. I thought for sure, I was destined for termination if left arrive so I accepted my fate to be destroyed by the Knights of Hanoi."
He looked over to Yusaku before saying, "But Yusaku had helped me see things different. For him to be prepared, I had tested him with Bohman, and his friends with Bit, and Boot or BitBoot, and they managed to get passed them for SOL Tech would also cheat with Speed Duel Skills, and soon I had Windy bring them to me so I can join forces with them while forming a truce with the Knights of Hanoi to look for my future, and together we had stopped SOL Tech's evil ways for good, and along the way we had founded my future where I had claimed it."
He looked back to everyone smiling, "I would not be here today if it wasn't for you all so I am eternally grateful for you, all of you. You had helped me, and not destroy everything, and for that I raise my glass." He held up the glass with a smile, "Thank you everyone."
Everyone applauded at that.
"And an extra thanks to you Yusaku." Lightning said turning to said boy.
"You're welcome." Yusaku smiled.
With that everyone celebrated till the end.

bopdog111: It's me, and Ulrich's first completed VRAINS fanfic, and the only thing from canon is the Hanoi Arc most likely cause of the other arcs not gonna be possible with us thinking Lightning deserved better.
Ulrich362: True, but with one down who knows? Maybe we'll do more with VRAINS in the future. Though with one story ending, another begins right Bopdog?
