Back at the northwest path, Eddy, Kevin, Bombette, and Bruce walked back to the main field until someone stopped them.

"Hey, y'all! Wait up!" someone said. They saw a Lakitu wearing sunglasses as he floated in front of everyone.

"What the...?" Eddy said. "Who the heck are you?"

The Lakitu began to sweat since it appeared he was thinking too hard. "Uh...my name is Lakilester... Wait a minute! That's not it! It's Michael... Dangit! Oh yeah...Spike! I'm Spike...you know... Ah, never mind. I've ruined my cool entrance..."

"Huh?" the team said. No one knew which one was more confused.

Kevin decided to step in. "Okay, blabbermouth!"

"Y-y-yes?" Spike stammered.

"I don't know what this is all about, but you're messin' with me, the dork, and our two pumped up Bob-ombs! You know the drill after we give you a beat down: take a hike and simmer down with your mommy!"

Spike gasped and turned around, taking notes about what Kevin said.

"Whoever that guy is...is...is...too cool, man! He's better than I thought!" He then faced them with his best 'stern' stare. "Y-y-you can't scare me! It's nothing personal, but I've got orders from Huff N. Puff. So...I'm sorry."

"What?" the team asked, tilting their head.

"Oh hey!" Spike said to Kevin. "D-did I sound cool? I bet it was...totally cool, man!"

"No," Kevin replied with a bored face.

"I'm with him. That just stunk." Eddy agreed.

"Aw... Get ready for this!" Spike threw a Spiny Egg to Bombette. She gasped until someone blocked her way.

Bruce took the hit and bent down on the ground painfully.

"N-no one can ruin...your beautiful body..." he said. Bombette sighed at his act and focused on the battle.

"Oh yeah!" Spike said, grinning. "Was that cool that I knocked out your friend?"

Eddy resisted the urge to groan. "Quit saying 'cool' all the time! It's not cool if you keep on saying like that."

Spike gasped "Oh! Then...how should-"

Eddy jumped forward and slammed his yo-yos hard on Spike. "Yeow! That was one powerful cool-! I mean..."

Kevin then rushed in and delivered an upward strike with his wrench, sending Spike spinning around on his cloud.

"Take this!" Bombette said, jumping forward and slamming Spike. Spike recoiled back in pain as he was panting really loudly. His cloud was also panting from the blows. Eddy, Kevin, and Bombette were about to attack.

"Wait wait wait!" Spike saw the two halting their assault. "Um...how do you surrender in a cool fashion way?"

"Get real!" Kevin said, readying his wrench while Eddy spun his yo-yos.

"Get ready for a beating, lame-o!"

"Okay, okay! I give up! Do you worst! I can take it like a man! Wrench...in the face...and...explosion to my cloud..."

"Wait!" a female voice said, coming into the scene. A girl Lakitu with an orange ponytail rode on a pink cloud as she defended him.

"Lakilulu?"

"Please stop! Have mercy on my poor sweet Lakilester!"

"Don't call me Lakilester! It's Spike! I changed my name last month! C'mon now! You're always embarrassing me...but somehow...it makes me like you even more."

"Ooooh..." Bombette said teasingly.

Lakilester started to sweat. "I mean... Wait a minute! Did I say that out loud? Forget what I just said!"

"Too late, cloud dude," Kevin said as Eddy snickered beside him.

Lakilester yelled out in frustration and panted. "Okay, okay. Anyways...I lost a challenge man-to-man...and woman, so we have to settle this."

"Please, will you forgive him?" Lakilulu asked Eddy and Kevin while clasping her hands. "He was just following Huff N. Puff's orders; he has no motive to hurt you all in the first place."

"Well...If he's the enemy, I wouldn't forgive him." Everyone gasped horribly, but Eddy and Kevin both pointed to Lakilester. "However, this guy failed to be an enemy; he has shamed himself!"

"I-I-I shamed myself?!" Lakilester stammered, almost ready to cry.

"Um...in other words," Bombette said, "We forgive you."

"Oh, thank you!" Lakilulu said, "leaping" up with her cloud. "Lakilester may be tough, but he's a bit of a softy."

"Stop calling me Lakilester!" he said. "It's Spike! Spike! Doesn't anybody listen at all? But...this whole deal is stupid. Being with Huff N. Puff is not cool while getting beat up as the result. So...you guys are Kevin and Eddy?"

"They're our names, don't wear it out," Kevin said.

"Yeah," Eddy answered. "What's the deal?"

"What in the world are you fighting for?"

Eddy and Kevin looked at each other and pondered for a moment.

"Let's see...for money, scams, Bombette, and going home. Yep. Pretty much it." Bombette giggled after hearing her name in it while Bruce glared behind Eddy's head.

"As for me, it's looking good, kicking butt, taking names, and proving myself a real man to my peers," Kevin said while flexing his arm. "I also used to stop the dorks' scams because they were conning people out of their allowances with their dumb tricks but that was in the past."

Lakiliester gaped. "Whoa...that's a lot just to defeat Bowser. You've got skills, man! You're the, uh..."

"Bomb?" Eddy and Bombette said.

"Coolest of the cool?" Kevin added with a smirk.

"Yeah! I didn't know you could use 'bomb' to be cool, but your answer is all I need. I'm going to join your team! I could improve my skills and be cool like you!"

Kevin smirked, closing his eyes while chuckling. "Well, you know, I am the coolest one out of everyone in the entire team."

"In your dreams, shovel chin!" Eddy said as he elbowed his rival/friend. "The only one who is truly cool is me!"

"That's cool!"

Then, Eddy and Kevin both frowned at him. "However, the last few minutes with you were so confusing that it made my head explode! From now on, you're going to be training under yours truly. You're going to be the learner of how to be cool...Eddy and Kevin-style!"

Lakilester clasped his hands in front of him and shaking back and forth. "Oh! Anything, Masters of the Cool! I wanna be just like you two!"

Eddy smirked. "That's what I'm talking about! I'm beginning to see a beautiful relationship."

Kevin's Star Caller suddenly began glowing and a ball of light emitted from it before entering Lakilester, who shivered a little at the tingling sensation before Kevin's eyes widened and he smirked.

"I don't think so, Dorky. Seems to me I've found my Soul Partner at last!"

"Wait, Lakilester!" Lakilulu said. "You can't leave me! I'm coming with you!"

"I'm sorry, Lakilulu," Lakilester said, shaking his head. "It's too dangerous for someone beautiful like you. You need to, uh..."

"Chill out?" Eddy whispered afar.

"Hang ten?" Kevin added.

"Chill out. Hang ten."

Suddenly, Lakilulu began to pull Lakilester's ear. "You need to chill out and hang ten, boyfriend! I'm coming whether you like it or not!"

"You two are a couple?!" Eddy and Bombette asked, gawking.

"Of course we are!"

Kevin walked to Lakilester and whispered to his other ear. "I've got to admit, you've off to a good start. You've earned some respect points."

"Respect points?" Lakilester asked, then became excited. "How many respect points do I have?"

"20. You need to reach 100 to be cool."

"Aw..." Both the Lakitus joined Eddy and Kevin's team as they went back to the center of Flower Fields. They found Goombario's team, which he was sneezing a lot, and Mario's team resting on the flowers.

"A Lakitu?" Mario asked.

"Guess what, Mario?" Eddy said, grinning. "After this whole thing is done, this man called Lakilester will join us."

"And he's my Soul Partner now, dudes!" Kevin added as he showed his Star Caller. "From now on, the team is all wrapped up!"

"It's Spike!" Lakilester said, but Eddy and Kevin turned around.

"No! From now on, you will be called Lakilester until you've reached 100 respect points!"

Lakilester was taken back. "That's...so unfair!"

"So..." Mario said, feeling weird about their new bond, "What are you doing here now?"

"We're going to the northeast and destroy the Puff Puff Machine," Bombette answered. "It's the source of all these dark clouds above."

"Do you guys need help?" Kooper asked, lying on the flowers.

"Nah, it's cool," Eddy replied. "We can take care of it. Let's go, team!"

Eddy, Kevin, Bombette, Lakilester, Lakilulu, and Bruce went to the northeast. At the same time, Sushie's team came in to find the Crystal Berry for Rosie. The six-member team stopped when there were thorny pines up ahead. However, the other side was a big ledge, so almost anyone could not reach the other side.

"This stinks..." Eddy crossed his arms. "How are we supposed to reach there?"

"Lakilulu and I can carry you all to the other side," Lakilester answered. "Our clouds can handle your weights pretty easily."

"Sweet! Let's ride on that bad boy!" Eddy and Bruce hopped on to Lakilester's cloud while Bombette and Kevin joined with Lakilulu. They all reached the other side and continued down the path as they went closer to the source. Finally, they found the Puff Puff Machine guarded by a Yellow Magikoopa and three Lakitus. The team hid behind the damaged stone wall and listened to the conversion.

"Let's go!" the Yellow Magikoopa said to the three Lakitus. "I wanna see this land covered! We'll make them fear the power of the Puff Puff Machine!"

"Yes, sir!" the three Lakitus replied.

"So what are we going to do?" Bombette asked Eddy, which made Bruce grunt in silence.

"Well..." Eddy replied. "We have to destroy it, so-"

"Hey you!" Bruce said, coming out of his hiding spot. "Over here!"

Eddy and Bombette smacked their foreheads while Kevin, Lakilester, and Lakilulu all slapped their foreheads as well. A chorus of facepalms that sounded like they came from a whole crowd echoed around them.

"Did we just do a Naked Gun reference?"

"What the?!" the Yellow Magikoopa said. "How did he get here?!"

Bruce charged straight to the machine and exploded. Some pieces fell down to the ground, which made the enemies attack. However, three Spiny Eggs went straight to the three Lakitus. After receiving the blow, they saw Lakilester and Lakilulu.

"Did you threw those Spiny Eggs?!" one of the Lakitus asked in anger. "How could you betray us, Spike and Lakilulu?!"

"You talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?" Lakilester replied. He looked at Kevin, who gave a thumbs-up before taking out one of his Modify Cards, preparing to swipe it in his Star Caller.

"Please stop this!" Lakilulu said. "You don't have to work with Bowser and Huff N. Puff anymore!"

"As if!" the second Lakitus replied. "We like cloud paradise! We like what we do!"

"Then..." Lakilester said, then paused, "you're uh...going down...literally!"

"Close enough!" Kevin said, fully swiping the Modify Card as Lakilester glowed brightly and summoned a red boomerang with spines on it.

"SPINY BOOMERANG!" Throwing the boomerang, it knocked the Yellow Magikoopa and the two Lakitus out of the sky

"R-r-r-r-r-retreat!" the Yellow Magikoopa stammered. All the enemies fled and went back up to the clouds. Kevin held up his hand to Lakilester, who looked at it for a moment before realizing what it meant and happily high-fived him.

"All right, guys! Let's destroy this contraption!" Eddy said.

Most of the group began to beat up the machine. It took seven seconds for the Puff Puff Machine to be completely inoperable.

Eddy sighed in relief. "Man, that felt good!"

All the dark clouds began to disappear, unveiling the blue skies.

"The clouds!" the Sun said in awe. "They're all gone! Here I come, everyone!"

He rose up all the way up to the sky and shined down on Flower Fields. Warmth and happiness began to spread everywhere and everyone. Petunia exclaimed happily, seeing that being in one place was not so bad at all. Posie cheered so much that she began to lose character. Lily awed when the rainbow showed up due to the sun's rays. Rosie loved that Flower Fields was saved, but the sunlight only added up to her beauty more.

The rest of the team, the Bub-ulbs, and Wise Wisterwood cheered that Flower Fields was saved, but unknown to them, one lone shiny figure stepped in front of them.

"You know something, guys?" Lakilester asked, breathing in the fresh air.

"What?" Lakilulu asked.

"Helping people feels...good!" He grinned. "I could get used to this, man."

Everyone headed back to where the rest of the team were. They were expecting cries of joy, however, they were cries of fear. Everyone rushed to the center and saw an actual golden Crazee Dayzee. All the Bub-ulbs cowered behind Wise Wisterwood while the other heroes confronted the enemy.

"Oh, man!" Goombario said, being scared. He later sneezed afterward. "W-who would have thought an A-Amazy Dayzee would show up on her o-o-own! Achoo! She's as dangerous as that Anti Guy in Shy Guy's Toy Box! Achoo!"

"So not cool..." Nazz said with a furrowed brow.

The Amazy Dayzee giggled with a hint of evilness. "I was going to let Master Huff N. Puff deal with you people so that my species can rule Flower Fields...But now that the clouds are cleared up, I'm afraid I have to do things my way. If you all surrender, I won't beat you all down...painfully."

"You will never hurt anyone!" Ed said, twirling his bow. "I can see right through you fake prettiness, evil flower from Hades!"

"We won't let you have your way!" Mario added. Mario, Ed, Rolf, and Johnny forward together, but the Amazy Dayzee sang a Lullaby. However, it was so loud and destructive that everyone who charged towards her was immediately pushed back. Their partners were defeated while Rolf and Ed were struggling to stand up. At the same time, their Power Rush and Mega Rush Badges activated.

"No way!" The others said, seeing their friends taken out by one song. The Bub-ulbs cried again in despair.

"I called that one...Lullaby of Death," the Amazy Dayzee said, giggling. "Anyone who listens to it directly in front of me will require more Mushrooms and Berries."

"Please, stop!" Wise Wisterwood said. "I cannot stand violence in front of me!"

She scowled at the old tree. "Be quiet, you old bark! Once I take care of the rest...you're next to listen to my newest song. It'll be called...The Overwithered Lullaby!" She stepped forward slowly.

"What do we do now, Double-D?!" Nazz asked, shaking him in the process. "That flower them down with one gigantic song!"

"I'm concentrating!" Double-D replied, finally stopped the shaking. He tried to think up a safer strategy without charging forward directly to her. Double-D looked over everyone's badges and found a plan. "Eureka! Jimmy, I need your assistance!"

"M-Me?" The frail boy asked, quivering behind his shield.

"Listen! You have that badge: the Dizzy Attack! You can inflict her with dizziness! If my plan works, we can all defeat her!"

"A-are you sure about this?" Bombette asked.

"It might be the only thing to subdue her. Once that happens, we'll launch an all-out attack. First, we need to distract her while Jimmy uses his Dizzy Attack Badge."

"Let's do it all together," Parakarry said with determined eyes. "We'll go down together if we have to."

"Um...Double-D?" Watt asked. "I-I'm scared. I don't want to listen to her, um, Lullaby of Death."

"Please don't let Watt get hurt!" Jimmy said worriedly for his Soul Partner's sake.

"You don't have to fight this one," Double=D said. "Just stay behind Wise Wisterwood for now."

Watt agreed and went to the Bub-ulbs. The rest of the team ran in front of the Amazy Dayzee in a formation while Jimmy crept through the flowers.

"Aw..." the Amazy Dayzee said, sighing happily. "You came here to listen to my song? How thoughtful of you all."

"Your song sucks! I'll blow your song away in a million pieces!" Sarah snapped as she saw Jimmy giving her a thumbs-up.

The Amazy Dayzee lost her composure and growled. "How dare you! I'm gonna make sure you all sleep forev-!" She was blasted by a water stream from a Water Flower that Sarah had on her person. Suddenly, a second water stream struck him, too. The others turned and saw Minh T. with her own Water Flower.

"Ha-Ha! A direct hit!" Eddy cackled in delight at what he saw.

"What a coincidence," Minh T. said with a smile, to which Double-D returned the smile. The Amazy Dayzee broke off the water streams. Meanwhile, Jimmy managed to stand behind her. He tapped his Dizzy Attack Badge and spun his shield around her.

She spun around and fell down to the ground with confused eyes. "Wh-wh-what's happening?! "Everything's...moving...around..."

"Now, everybody!" Eddy said. Eddy, Kevin, Bombette, and Lakilester struck her with a yo-yo combo, a wrench slam, a body slam, and a Spiny Egg to her face. Lakilulu threw a Spiny Egg as well. Parakarry struck her with his shell. Bruce detonated to her, but he was weak compared to Bombette's explosion again. Sarah smacked her around with her flail, Bow slapped her several times, Nazz delivered a quick barrage of punches, Susie gave her a belly flop, and Goombario headbonked her.

Even after all that, she was still standing with many scars and bruises all over her.

"Dang, she's tough!" Sarah growled.

She shook herself to regain her senses. "Ha! Is that all you've got?!"

"No, but this will, Devil Flower of Natura's Fecal Remains!" A certain Son of a Shepard said. Everyone saw Rolf and Ed charging forward with their weapons. Rolf slammed her upwards with his staff and Ed leaped up and fired an arrow that impaled her to the ground. She screamed in more pain as she left a small crack on the grass. In the end, she has "X's" in her eyes. All the Bub-ulbs cheered and sang of joy, which made the defeated members regain consciousness.

"You did it!" Wise Wisterwood said, cheering as well. "You took down an Amazy Dayzee! What spectacular feat!"

"Jimmy saved the day!" Watt cheered, nuzzling Jimmy happily as he blushed while Double-D rolled his eyes but smiled.

"Well, we all had a hand in taking down that fiend."

Goombario sneezed again since he was facing directly at the flowers.

"It's g-getting w-worse..." After everyone celebrated their victory and recovered their energies, it was finally time to plant the seed.

"Minh T.," Wise Wisterwood said, "if you could, would you do the honors of planting the bean?"

"I'll be happy too," Minh T. replied. Each team gave the things necessary for the bean to grow. She saw a brown spot that would be perfect to plant.

"Um, Jimmy," Watt said. "How do you make it grow?"

Jimmy tapped his chin before smiling. "First, a seed needs to be in a nice ground where it can grow healthy. She will dig the spot and plant the Fertile Soil in its place."

Minh T. took out her shovel and dug the brown spot. After that, she covered the hole with the Fertile Soil from Posie.

"Ooooh..."

"Second, the Magical Bean must be planted." She dug a small hole in the Fertile Soil and placed the twitching bean in it. She covered up the bean afterward.

"Okay. I got it."

"Third, she will water it with the Miracle Water extracted from Lily." She grabbed the watering can and sprinkled the soil. "With that in mind, all the bean needs is sunlight. I heard a tale that this bean will grow very fast with the Magical Bean, Fertile Soil, and Miracle Water."

"It's starting already!" Minh T. said, backing away. The plant began to sprout as the stalk grew higher and higher. Everyone watched the beanstalk as it grew bigger. It took around a minute for the beanstalk to reach Cloudy Climb. After that, the bottom sprouted two gigantic leaves.

"Fee-fi-fo-fum!" Ed said, then laughed. "I smell cheese and onion buns!"

"It reminds me of Jack and the Beanstalk."

"This thing...ain't normal," Eddy said, then turned to Double-D. "Kinda reminds me of that elevator you and Ed built."

"The one where you had us all do your Business Tycoon Scam?" Nazz asked as Eddy sheepishly shrugged.

"Well then," Mario said, smiling. "Is everyone ready?"

"You know it!"

"Rolf shall venture this endeavor to the end!"

"I'm a mean bean looking for trouble!" Jimmy giggled.

Meanwhile, the Lakitu Couple had their private conversion next to Wise Wisterwood.

"Please, Lakilulu!" Lakilester said in a "cool" way. "You have to stay here for your safety!"

"No, Lakilester!" Lakilulu said, frowning.

"It's Spike, for crying out loud!"

"You have to understand that we were a part of Huff N. Puff's minions. We have to settle the score with him. I bet I have the courage to stand up to him and give him a Spiny Storm than you!"

"But... But... Oh, all right. You win."

"Ahem," Kevin said, clearing his throat. "You just lost 5 respect points because you've failed to keep your girl out of this."

"Aw... Why do you have to be so tough on me?!"

"Because you lack the cool! You need to stand up and become a true man, not with all the stuttering and giving up stuff! That's not cool!"

Lakilester blinked his eyes. "Oh... I see what you mean."

"Lakilester," she said. "After we defeat Huff N. Puff, I won't be in your way until you come back safely."

"You... You mean it?"

Lakilulu held on to his hands. "I promise."

Lakilester could not resist and hug her. Kevin began to grin and walked up to Lakilester's ear.

"You just earned 10 respect points for hugging her," The Jock whispered, which made Lakilester smile.

Before anyone could hop on the leaves, Goombario kept on sneezing.

"It's no use!" he said. "Achoo! My allergies-Achoo-are out of control! Achoo! G-go on without m-me! Achoo!"

"Double-D, don't you have something for Goombario's allergies?" Mario asked.

"I'm afraid I don't have one," Double-D answered in a panic state as he kept searching through his bag.

Centaury walked up to Goombario. "If only there was some way I could help you. Maybe...my powers..."

Her petals radiated with a green glow as it sprinkled down to Goombario. He continued sneezing until he stopped. After that, he quickly picked up a flower and sniffed it.

"I-it worked!" Goombario said, gasping. "My allergies are all gone! I can breathe!"

"How is it possible?" Wise Wisterwood asked, witnessing the event. "I never knew a Bub-ulb can have other powers besides planting."

"Maybe...I...tapped my hidden power?" Centaury said, grinning.

"Hail to the Bub-ulbs and their miracle flowers!" Rolf said as he raised his hands in the air as if praising the lord above. Merlow also joined in with a chuckle.

"Whatever it is, thanks, Centaury," Goombario said, smiling. Mario decided to check his Ultra Stone and pointed toward her. When he did, the stone flashed just like before.

Could it be...? Mario thought, but they had no time to waste. "All right, everyone! Choose a leaf!"

The team, plus Minh T., Centaury, Bruce, and Lakilulu, hopped on the leaves.

"So...how does it work?" Eddy asked since nothing was happening. "Does it respond to us or-"

Both leaves raised up slowly. Everyone began to hold on as they reach higher and higher.

"I can show you the world~!" Johnny began singing as he held Plank and Parakarry close happily while Ed screamed out loud, hugging Kooper.

"The flowers are leaving us!"

"There, there, Ed," Kooper said. "Just close your eyes and will be there soon." Ed closed his eyes as everyone reached halfway to the clouds. Everyone around, except some, had a determined look on their faces as they were getting closer to their destination.

"You're going down Huff N. Puff...Spike-style!" Lakilester thought as they finally reached Cloudy Climb.

The Amazy Dayzee had managed to crawl away from the group after her humiliating defeat. She groaned as a few of her petals had fallen off and she was struggling to stand back up. Suddenly, she stopped in front of a tall shadowy figure.

"L-Lord Beo...?"

The Demon smirked as he leaned over and picked up the Amazy Dayzee in his claws, he then put his claws on her remaining petals and began violently plucking them out as she screamed in agony and distress, tears in her eyes.

"I WILL fuck Princess Peach...I WON'T fuck Princess Peach...I WILL...I WON'T..."

Beo grinned evilly as he yanked out the last petal, the Amazy Dayzee's body now wilted and grey as he let her drop before raising his foot and stomping her skull, splattering white dew-like blood everywhere.

"Guess what? I WILL~!"
