It all happened in seven long minutes.
In ten seconds, The man dressed in black points his weapon towards Ziva, unlocks his weapon and squeezes the trigger half way.
In ten more seconds, Tony leaps out and grabs the man by the legs and pushes him to the ground. The gun goes off the second Tony touches the man. The bullet hits something but not a human.
In one minute, Tony and the man struggle. Tony punches him in the gut and the man punches back. Strikes Tony the jaw. Tony pushes the pain aside and keeps fighting. Ziva begins to intervene.
In the next minute, Tony holds the struggling man down and Ziva attempts to snap his neck. She grabs both sides of his face and almost makes it all the way when the man kicks his legs out and then targets Ziva.
Minute number three. The men on the rooftop start firing all over again. Gibbs discards nursing his wound and then picks up both he and Tony's weapons and starts firing out the window. Tony and Ziva have an advantage over the man because they are kneeling over him but when He kicks his leg into Ziva's ribs that changed. She winces and staggers back. Tony keeps on fighting.
Minute four, Gibbs gets one man on the rooftop in the head. He continues firing. He had only Tony's gun left. His own ran out of bullets and Tony's was running low on ammo too. He had 5 shots left. The fire coming from outside was down to a dull roar. There was only one man standing.
Thirty seconds later. Ziva regains her strength and then remembers something. The assailant's own weapon. It had been clattered to the ground when Tony pushed him to the ground. She crawled as fast as she could on her hands and knees toward the firearm. Her ribs were on fire but she pushed on. She grabs the weapon and hits the man directly between the eyes and the man breathes out the last breath he would ever breathe.
Minute five. Gibbs rolls on to his belly and resorts back to sniper training. He points, aims, squints one eye, holds still. The shooter starts reloading his weapon and the whole place went silent for six seconds. In those six seconds, Gibbs waits. He has the perfect shot. When the shooter gets ready to restart his fire he points his weapon in two seconds but Gibbs shoots him before he can squeeze the trigger. Gibbs tapped him directly in the heart and when he did, the whole place went silent for ten more seconds.
Five minutes and ten seconds. Gibbs finds his cellphone. Clutching on to his shoulder and calls an ambulance. Tony and Ziva are bust pinning the other unconscious man to the ground. Tony pulls out his cuffs and cuffs him.
Six minutes fifty. Two teams of paramedics arrive and the first thing they notice was Gibbs. They went up to him and then started working on his shoulder. Each team split and started working on Tony and Ziva. They help them out of the apartment. Gibbs cooperates. He is about to pass out from a loss of blood. They shove Tony and Ziva in the back of separate ambulances much to their protests. One EMT stays with the passed out man in the apartment awaiting for another ambulance.
Minute number seven. All ambulances drive off following another. Speeding with lights and the sirens wailing.
