Chapter 38: Weirdmegadon Pt 1. Change the Script
(Emily's P.O.V)
Nothing can exactly explain how I felt as I saw a hole in our dimensions rip apart in the sky. It was terrifying, but for some reason I wasn't too scared. Though I feel like everyone else was. I knew this was going to happen, but I was so stupid! I should have been with the twins! Now everything is falling apart. And I have to put it back together and help everyone. I have to stop worrying. It's time to change the script!
This is for you, Georgia.
"Oh man, oh man..." Thompson whined.
"Emily, what do you mean it's the end of the world!? What's going on?" Nate asked. I took a breath and turned to everyone, I needed to get them to safety first, then I could explain later. I also needed to get to the Shack and hopefully get there before Ford and Dipper left.
"Listen, I know this all seems crazy, and I promise I'll explain everything soon, but right now we have gotta get out of here!" I explained. Suddenly a boom was heard and I turned to see several eye bats heading towards us.
"Uh oh..." I muttered and the lead bat spotted me, it's pupil narrowing menacingly.
"What do we do, what do we do!?" Lee asked in panicked tone.
"RUN!" I exclaimed and we started booking it out of the graveyard. Thompson started to quickly fall behind us.
"Keep going guys! Keep going!" He urged us, while panting heavily, and quickly got turned to stone.
"No! Thompson!" Lee cried, reaching for his friend. My eyes widened with horror, it was a lot scarier seeing this in real life than on a screen.
"Keep running!" Wendy cried, and dragged Lee behind her. We kept running but I think a bat caught up to Lee and Wendy, because he shoved her forward as he got turned to stone and was carried off along with Thompson.
"Lee! No!" Wendy and Nate cried. Robbie and Tambry were holding onto each other and staring at the eye-bats in fear. I had enough of this and turned around. I stood in front of my remaining friends and reached my arms out in front of me.
"STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!" I cried, my voice echoing across the graveyard, and the bats came to halt and were hovering over us.
"Emily, what's are you doing?!" Wendy asked.
"Sorry guys, can't let you guys suffer." I apologized, looking back at them with a sorry expression.
"Emily?" Nate asked, reaching out to me, but I turned away and held up my arms.
"I know I'm the one Bill wants. Leave my friends alone, and I'll go to Bill's palace." I offered. I heard everyone behind me gasp.
"Are you crazy?!" Robbie exclaimed.
"Whoa..." Tambry dropped her phone, didn't think it shock her this much.
"Don't do it!" Wendy cried.
"That's insane!" Lee yelled.
"Emily no!" Nate pleaded desperately.
I ignored them all as tears welded up in my eyes and I looked up at the bat, who seemed to be processing this. His eye then lit up. Guess I'm gonna be stone now. I winced and closed my eyes, expecting to be turned to stone. I heard the familiar crackling sound, but I didn't feel anything. I opened my right eye and gasp.
Nate was in front of me, turned to stone.
"Nate no!" I gasped, tears streaming down my face. I reached out for him, but Wendy grabbed my arm and yanked me back and we rushed into the woods. Lee charged at the bat with rage.
"Let me brother from another mother GO!" He screamed only to be turned to stone.
"Go, go, go!" Wendy cried and Tambry suddenly shoved Robbie forward and was captured by bats as we ran.
"Tambry!" We screamed and the bats that captured our friends flew off as the remaining continued the chase. We quickly ran to the edge of the woods and I could tell that we were getting out of breath, but we couldn't stop, not yet.
"Wait, wait!" Robbie called and we stopped and turned. What was it now?
"What!?" Wendy asked in annoyed tone and Robbie pulled out his cell phone to take a selfie.
"Are you an idiot!?" I cried. Is he seriously taking a selfie right now? Geez, no wonder Wendy was annoyed.
"Oh come on, those guys are long gone..." Robbie insisted not seeing the eye-bat behind him.
"Uh...Robbie..." Wendy started, too late, he's a statue.
"Come on!" I cried and it was my turn to pull Wendy through the forest. The thickness of the trees kept the eye bats from following us, thankfully. Once we were far enough I let go of her hand and sighed. Catching my breath and wiping away the sweat and tears.
"Don't worry Emily, my dad made my brothers and me prepare for an apocalypse my whole life." Wendy assured me.
"Okay, we gotta split up." I deadpanned. Wendy stared at me as if I turned into Bill himself.
"What, Emily no! Bad idea, no...it's the worst idea! We CANNOT SPLIT UP! ESPECIALLY AFTER THAT STUNT YOU ALMOST PULLED!" Wendy exclaimed. I was taken aback by that, and took a breath before gripping her shoulders and speaking as calmly as I could.
"Wendy, I have a plan. I know this all seems crazy, but you have to trust me, please. I need to find Dipper and Ford. If it all goes well, I'll meet you at the mall. I promise." I explained and Wendy just stared at me. She then wordlessly pulled me into a hug, which I returned. We soon broke it and Wendy nodded to me.
"I trust you." She said simply I nodded in return and we ran in opposite directions.
I quickly made my way to the treehouse, dodging several creatures that flew or ran past me. Once I was at the remains of my former home I climbed up and burst through the door, slamming it shut and was greeted by a familiar tackle.
"Ah, Globby!" I cried happily, and snuggled with him. He gurgled something and I sighed.
"Sorry boy, but I have work to do." I said and put him down and rummaged through my trunk. I found the box I was looking for and took it out.
It was the box with the gun.
I took it out and sighed to myself. Globby made a whining like sound and I patted his head. Though he used that to latch on to my arm.
"Globby, come on! I have to go!" I exclaimed and suddenly I felt the tree house shake. I looked out the window and saw a weirdness wave.
"Oh come..." I didn't get to finish my sentence as the wave rushed over and my necklace glowed, with a green aura surrounding Globby and me. Once the wave past is faded.
"Okay...that was actually the most normal thing that's happened today." I said and pushed Globby off of my arm. He protested loudly.
"Globby listen, I can't worry about you while I help the twins! Please, stay in the Shack with Stan and I'll..." I stopped. I couldn't promise I'd be back, but Globby would not stay if I said that.
"...I'll always be with you okay? Please do this for me. Alright?" I asked and Globby nodded. I smiled and kissed him on the forehead, grabbed the gun and a bag that had a jar of something I needed, and climbed down the ladder and headed straight for town. Knowing full well that Dipper and Ford were already there and no doubt their plan to defeat Bill had just failed.
I hope this worked.
(Third Person)
Dipper was horrified. Not only did the quantum destabilizer fail, but Bill turned his Grunkle into gold! And was using him as a back scratcher. Dipper gritted his teeth. Now was time to act.
"That's enough!" He exclaimed and Bill turned his attention to the pre-teen. "Hand over my uncle! Or else!" Dipper warned, holding up Journal 3.
"Now isn't. This...INTERESTING?" Bill exclaimed as his voice deepened and zoomed over to Dipper. A white spot light shining over him.
"My old puppet is back for an encore. You think you can stop me? Go ahead, Pine Tree, show me what you've got." Bill dared, holding Ford with one hand, while using two others to put up fists.
"I...uh...I...uh..." Dipper stuttered as he flipped through the Journal and shined a black light on Bill's page. Only to find that it read 'IF HE GAINS PHYSICAL FORM THEN ALL IS LOST!' Well that was helpful! Not!
"I UM I. Do it, kid. Do some brilliant thing that takes me down right now. Whattdya got, Pine Tree, everyone's waiting. DO IT." Bill taunted and Dipper finally had enough and jumped at Bill.
"Augh, BILL!" Dipper cried, aiming a fist at the demon, only to be thrown back into a tree by a force field that Bill conjured up.
"Ugh." Dipper groaned, not noticing a familiar figure in the distance watching carefully and slowly pulling out a gun. Bill's minions laughed at Dipper's fails attempt as he reached for the Journal only to have Bill levitate them away.
"That's right. Don't be a hero, kid." Bill taunted while waving Ford. "This is what happens to heroes in my world." And with that, Bill burned all three of the Journals and they fell to the ground. Turning blacker and blacker by the second.
"NO! THE JOURNALS!" Dipper cried in horror.
"Not much of a threat now, are you?" Bill asked retroactively and turned to his friends.
"Now can anyone remind me why we came...?"
BANG!
Bill was cut off by that and everyone turned around to see a shadow like figure appear from the woods. Seemingly clutching something to its chest. Soon it came into the light and collapsed to the ground and Dipper's eyes widened.
"EMILY NO!" He ran towards her as Bill looked on, shocked as well. Which was surprising for him. Dipper made his way to Emily only to find that she was covered in a red substance.
No. No no nononononono!
"Emily! Oh my gosh! Please be okay! Who did this...?" Emily shifted and revealed the object she was holding was a gun.
"...to...you?" Dipper gasped, everything clicking.
Emily shot herself.
"WHAT!?" Dipper turned and saw Bill hovering over him.
"You-you stay away from her! You made her do this!" Dipper accused lashing out at the demon.
"No...no he didn't. It was *hurk* me..." Emily gasped, voice wheezing.
"Emily, why? Why would you do this? You can't die!" Dipper cried, tears streaming down his face. He just lost Ford, and he had no idea if Mabel was safe, he couldn't lose Emily too!
"She won't! Just a little magic and she'll be..." Bill snapped his fingers only to find that Emily was still wheezing and her face was getting pale.
"...fine?"
"The...bullets I used...where *hurk* anti-magic...only Ford knows the cure. He put it...ug...in the Journals, but you..." Emily was cut off by her coughing and some blood spilled out of her mouth.
"You're bluffing Emerald!" Bill accused.
"Wanna...*cough cough* bet?" Emily questioned weakly and her head fell back to the ground and started wheezing.
"Dipper...tell Mabel...I love her, and you too. You two were the best...younger siblings I could have ..." Emily's breath became short and started to close her eyes.
"Emily...Emily! No! No! Please!" Dipper begged and Bill looked from the statue of a Ford to Emily and groaned in annoyance.
"Okay, okay, fine. Here." Bill snapped his fingers and put down a now unfrozen Ford.
"Huh, what?" He gasped, looking at his hands in disbelief.
"Can it Sixer, and use your dumb science to cure Emerald or both her and Pine Tree die." Bill threatened and pointed to Emily, who had Dipper hovering over her. Ford gasped and rushed over.
"Emily, I didn't think you would actually..."
"I had to...save you..." Emily moaned weakly and flinched as Ford lifted her head.
"Don't worry we'll get you fixed up. Just hang on." Ford assured her and Emily grabbed his hand to stop him for a moment.
"Wait...first you and Dipper...need to...RUN!" Emily suddenly shot up and pushed Dipper and Ford towards the forest and fired her gun at Bill and his minions.
"Emily!? You're...how!?" Dipper sputtered his mind going a mile a minute.
"I'll explain later. JUST RUN, NOW! GO!" Emily cried and Ford grabbed Dipper before they rushed into the woods. Emily's gun soon ran out of bullets and she tossed it away and was about to run after them before she was lifted up by Bill.
"Well, well, well. Nice show there, Emerald. You even had Sixer fooled." Bill said.
"Thanks. I'm just surprised you were so easily tricked." Emily deadpanned.
"Please, I knew you we faking. I see everything!" Bill laughed.
"Oh really? Is that why you let Ford go and allowed him to escape with Dipper?" Emily smirked and Bill's laughing was cut short. He glared and Emily's eyes widened. Okay, maybe she went to far.
"Well, no matter. I may not have Sixer, but you'll do. You'll do just fine." Bill said, voice deepening at the last sentence and before Emily could react Bill shot a beam from his eye and turned her to an emerald statue.
"Ah!" She cried before her world went black.
"OKAY! DOES ANYONE ELSE WANT TO INSULT ME?! OR ARE WE GOING TO HAVE A VIP PARTY!?" Bill exclaimed angrily and Bill's minions just gave nods happily and Bill relaxed.
"Good. Henchmaniacs roll out!" Bill then conjured up a fancy car and once the monsters were in, they drove off to the castle. Bill gave the frozen Emily a quick glance and laughed.
"Looks like I got a prize after all."
WEIRDMAGEDDON DAY 3...
Everything was going wrong, the town of Gravity Falls was in pure Chaos, and the people were either hiding in fear, or turned to stone, or in Emily's case, emerald. No one was safe from the wrath of the demon with just one eye. Now, Dipper was running through the streets with Ford, who had managed to shoot down a couple eye-bats to protect him. Neither of them went back to the Shack, it was too risky, and it was most likely the first place Bill would look for them. They had no choice but to run wild in the town.
Dipper was flat out terrified, not only was his sister nowhere to be found, but Emily was being held hostage by Bill after she sacrificed herself to save them both. He knew she wasn't the closest with Ford, but she still took his place. Ford was nice to have along, but he just wanted his family back.
Ford, meanwhile, was making it his duty to keep Dipper safe. Though his thoughts were distracted. He knew about Emily's plan with the gun, but he had no idea it was all a trick! Originally he thought Emily would threaten to harm herself if Bill didn't leave them alone, and since it was clear Bill had an...interest in Emily, it was likely Bill would have backed off. He should have known that wasn't it, and it was quite clever. He couldn't lie to Bill, they both knew each other too well, and if Bill knew it was all fake then he would have captured all three of them right then and there. Now Dipper was his responsibility, if only he felt like he was up to the task.
"We are day three in this strange cataclysmic event, which some are calling 'Weirdmageddon,'or the 'Oddpocalypse'. Weather today calls for black clouds, blood rain and frequent showers of Eyeball Bats turning people into stone. I'm Shandra Jimenez, and I ate a rat for dinner." Shandra reported, both Ford and Dipper were surprised that the t.v was even working.
"Dipper, get down." Ford urged and pushed Dipper behind a pile of garbage bags as an eye-bat turned Pizza Guy to stone and flew off with him. The two then quickly ducked into an alley way. Dipper sighed before taking out his walkie-talkie.
"Mabel, it's me. So far Ford and I have eluded capture but we haven't been able to find you or Stan anywhere. I don't know if you can hear me, but wherever you are, whatever happens, I'm going to find you." Dipper vowed and Ford placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, Mabel's a very brave girl, I'm sure she is okay." He said trying to give Dipper hope, but he's been saying that for three days now, and he felt like a broken record at this point. They have been looking for their family and Ford feared that of the rift was broken while in Mabel's possession, she could very well have been the first one captured by Bill.
A screech caught their attention and they observed a pterodactyl overhead and taking the A from the GRAVITY MALLS sign.
"Wait, the mall! Maybe they're hiding in there!" Dipper cried excitedly.
"It certainly couldn't hurt." Ford agreed and the two rushed over. Dipper eagerly tried to rush inside, only for the automatic doors to remain shut.
"Oh no!" He gasped. Suddenly, a loud thumping sounds was heard and they turned to see a giant head with an arm coming out of the top.
"Hey. Hey you two. Hey, I wanna talk to you two. I wanna talk to you two about going inside my mouth. I-I think you both wanna get in here." He said while headed towards them.
"Get back!" Ford warned and aimed his blaster at him as Dipper pried open the doors.
"Hey, you, hey! I'm talkin' to you, dudes! You don't have to make a big deal outta this! Hello! HELLO!" The head cried as the two managed to get inside the mall through the doors, though Ford got caught in the doors.
"Why are you just ignoring me?!" The head cried as it slammed its single hand on the doors, which managed to free Ford and allow him to get inside.
"That's seriously rude to just IGNORE someone like this." The head cried while reaching inside. Ford shot at the hand and the head monster screamed in pain.
"OW! And now you're shooting at me? What the heck man? All I'm doing is trying to talk to you! Sheesh, what's your problem?" It questioned angrily and Ford urged Dipper to get deeper inside the mall.
"Stan! Mabel!" Dipper called out and turned to see delicious looking nachos on a table in what was left of the food court. Remembering his hunger, Dipper decided to take a small break.
"Huh, maybe at least I can get something to eat. The last nachos on Earth." Dipper said to himself as he picked them up, and Ford walked over.
"There seems to be no one else here...DIPPER NO!" Ford cried, but it was too late, the trap activated and Dipper was caught in a net.
"Ah! HELP! The nachos tricked me!" He cried as Ford rushed over.
"Hang on! I'll get you out!" He assured him and heard rustling from the plants and quickly aimed his blasted at it.
"SHOW YOURSELF DEMON!" He cried and Wendy's head popped out of the plant.
"Dipper? Stan 2?" She asked I'm disbelief and Dipper gasped.
"Wendy!? Oh no! You've been transformed into some sort of...tree monster!" He cried in horror.
"Diabolical." Ford added and Wendy laughed as she stepped out of the potted plant.
"Ha! It's just camouflage. My dad made me and my brothers do apocalypse training every year instead of Christmas. Guess it's sort of cool the paranoia paid off." She explained and used her crossbow to shoot down a bat.
"Nice bat meat!" She cried happily.
"Well, you certainly are prepared." Ford commented as Wendy got out her ax.
"Let me get that for ya." She said and tossed it so Dipper was released from the net and he rushed over to her.
"Ah! Wendy, I'm so glad to find you! I thought nearly everyone I knew was gone..." He said while hugging her.
"Hey, hey, it's okay. We have each other now...and Toby Determined, who I accidentally mistook for a monster." Wendy comforted and gestured to said Toby, who was clutching his arm in pain.
"This just in: this arrow in my shoulder." He winced and Ford's eyes widened.
"We can all see that." He nodded and turned to Wendy. "I do not blame you at all."
"Thanks Stan 2." Wendy nodded.
"It's Ford, actually." He corrected.
"Right, got it. Was Emily able to find you guys? I haven't seen her since the attack." Wendy asked and Dipper's head lowered and Wendy stared to grow concerned.
"Guys, where's Emily?"
"Emily...was captured by Bill." Ford explained.
"Wait what?! How!?" Wendy asked in disbelief. "She said she was going to find you, and meet me here!"
"I'm sure that was her intention, but Bill had me captured and Emily managed to trick him into freeing me, however she got captured herself." Ford explained.
"And now, Bill has her doing who knows what!" Dipper added, in a panicked tone and Wendy sighed and grabbed her crossbow.
"You can give me the full details later. We shouldn't stay out in the open for too long. Let me show you my hideout." Wendy urged and the group quickly followed her to an abandoned 'Edgy on Purpose' store and cooked the bat whole explaining her side of the story.
"We were playing truth or dare when it happened. Emily suddenly got a massive headache and passed out. 5 minutes later, she came to, and we tried to get her to a hospital, but that's when it all started. The eyeballs froze Nate, Lee, Tambry, and Thompson." She explained and took out some money from the cash register and wiped her face.
"Robbie almost got away but has to pause to take a selfie." She groaned before sighing. "Emily said she had to find you guys and that she'd meet me at the mall later...but I guess it didn't got as she planned...what about you?"
"I was in a fight with Mabel when it happened. Uncle Ford asked me to be his apprentice once the summer was over. But that would mean I wouldn't go back home. It would mean growing up without Mabel." Dipper explained and turned to Ford with a guilty expression.
"Oh dude..." Wendy muttered sympathetically.
"Mabel didn't take it well and she ran off into the forest. She couldn't even look me in the eye..." Dipper sighed and Wendy gave a questioning look towards Ford, as if expecting him to say something but he simply started at the fire in silence. She then turned back to Dipper.
"Come on. Let's get some fresh air. Toby, you and Ford are watching the camp!" She called over and Toby appeared form the dressing room with a new 'Edgy on Purpose' look.
"Don't call me 'Toby' anymore. Call me Bodacious T." He declared.
"No one will ever call you that." Wendy deadpanned.
"Ooh..." Toby whined, defeated and Wendy took Dipper to the roof with cans of Pitt Cola.
"The end of the world. Man, those death metal album covers got it shockingly right." Wendy said, viewing the scenery around them.
"You know, I used to think I could get out of anything, but this? The journals are destroyed, Emily is captured and I can't find anyone else of my family anywhere. Bill said it himself, there's no room for heroes out here. We lost." Dipper sighed in defeat.
"Look, dude, it's not over yet. You've beaten Bill twice before, why is this time any different?" Wendy asked.
"'Cause then I had Mabel...and Emily wasn't captured." Dipper replied.
"Then you need to get Mabel back. Look, this summer, I've seen some amazing things, but nothing as amazing as you and your sister. I don't know if it's dumb luck or yin and yang, or whatever, but when you two work together, there's like nothing you two can't accomplish. You just need to make up, and team up, and save the universe." Wendy declared.
"And Emily is strong, she'll be able to handle Bill." She added and Dipper sighed.
"But how will I ever find her?" He asked and a monster roared before eating a billboard, revealing a giant bubble with a familiar looking symbol on it that was in between the cliffs.
"The shooting star from Mabel's sweater! She's in there. I know it." He declared.
"Whoa, it that like twin ESP?" Wendy asked.
"No, we don't have that, but we do have this thing where our allergies totally act up at the same time." Dipper explained before letting out a kitten sneeze. "Mabel needs us."
Dipper then took notice of the numerous obstacles that were in the way from Wendy's hideout to the cliffs. "But how are we gonna get out there without getting caught?"
Wendy turned to the abandoned car lot and smirked.
"I have an idea."
MEANWHILE: IN BILL'S CASTLE
"Spin the person! Spin the person!" The demons chanted as a frozen Lazy Susan was spinning and her head eventually pointed to Pyronica who gasped excitedly.
"Ah!" Hectorgon attempt to fly away, only for Pyronica to catch him with her toy he and swallow him whole.
"Hahahaha! Go nuts, guys! When we're done partying, I unveil Phase 2." Bill laughed from his spot and next to him was a still frozen Emily who he nudged playfully.
"Isn't this a nice shindig?" He asked playfully, only to receive no response.
"Man, you're boring when you don't talk." He huffed and a loud pounding was heard at the front doors.
"Open up! This the police! Time Police!" An angry voice ordered and the demons gasped and turned to Bill with worry.
"Just play it cool, ditch the time-punch. Let me do the talking." Bill said and straighten his tie before the doors were forcefully burst open and an army of Time Agents entered the castle.
"Bill Cipher. You are in violation of the rules of space-time, and possessing the body of a time officer." Lolph glare sternly.
"My body is a temple! How dare you!" Blendin cried angrily. "You made me think Emily was in danger and you were the only thing that could help her!"
"Hey, all I said was I'd make her headache stop, totally worth it since I got your body in the end. Good thing to...that took a lot out of me..." Bill muttered the last part when the other all powerful being spoke up.
"Here this, Cipher!" He bellowed loudly.
"Ugh, Time Baby." Bill groaned, rolling his eye as Time Baby projected a hologram of the universe from his head.
"If your rip in this dimension continues, it could destroy the very fabric of existence!" Time Baby warned as the image of the universe exploded.
"Surrender now, or face my tantrum!" He demanded, Bill was not having it and sighed dramatically.
"Oh, no, a tantrum! Whatever will a do about that HOW 'BOUT THIS? BOOM." Bill suddenly pointed his finger and a beam shot out and vaporized Time Baby and the police in an instance. He used his eye/mouth and blew the smoke from his finger as the rest of the demons stared in shock.
"Ah, snap! He just killed Time Baby!" Kryptos cried.
"Yeahhh!" They cheered and resumed the party. Meanwhile, Blendin was hiding behind a pole and was sweating nervously.
"Aw, man, this has gone from bad to worse! I gotta get out of time-Dodge!" He stuttered and fiddled with his watch and turned back to see a frozen Emily with a sorry expression and gasped when he noticed that there was a small pulse where her heart was and he sighed in relief.
"Okay, she's still alive...please let the legends be true. Good luck Emily." Blendin pleaded before disappearing. He couldn't do anything now.
8-Ball and Teeth then approached Bill's throne, slightly nervous.
"Boss, we still haven't found the Pine Tree Kid or Sixer. Are you worried they might try to cause some trouble?" 8-Ball explained.
"Yeah, trouble with Mabel's bubble?" Teeth added and Bill waved it off while laughing.
"Ha! I'm not worried. I've got someone on the case."
BACK IN GRAVITY FALLS
Wendy, Dipper, Ford and Toby where looking through the fence at Bud's former auto mart and Wendy smirked.
"The abandoned auto-mart. Free cars right for the hot-wiring. We just found our ride to Mabel." Wendy said and the group jumped the fence.
"We better move fast, Bill's goons could come at any moment." Ford urged.
"I wonder if they have a tank. I've always wanted to drive a tank!" Wendy wondered excitedly as they moved through the lot.
"I can't believe this place is just abandoned." Dipper commented, looking around.
"There's probably no use for cars if we can't leave the town." Ford suggested, meanwhile Toby was looking into a car eagerly.
"Ooh, an air freshener. Finally I'll smell like a person. Stealy stealy." Toby was then shot with a tranquilizer dart, but it barely effected him and he stood back up with determination.
"Ah! It's gonna take more than one dart to keep me from..." He was then cut off by several more darts hitting him and he collapsed on the ground.
"Oh no! Tony! Was it Tony? I can never remember his name." Wendy gasped and began questioning his name and Ford got out his blaster.
"On your guard!" He cried and 3 sets of car headlights turned on in front of them, revealed to be giants cars that were being driven and ridden by several prisoners.
"Well, well, looks like we got ourselves a pair of ground walkers." One taunted.
"Heheh! Ground walkers! Heheh! Ain't got no wheels!" Another laughed as the group glared.
"Listen Discount Auto Warriors!" Wendy cried angrily.
"We just wanna make it to that bubble out east; we have no quarrel with you!" Dipper added and Ford pointed his ray at them.
"You don't want to mess with us!" He warned and a loud deep voice spoke up through a megaphone.
"Oh, but that's where you're wrong! Hands where I can see 'em. AND DROP YOUR WEAPON!" He ordered and the group raised their hands, while Ford reluctantly dropped his weapon. Fearing Dipper and Wendy's safety if he didn't.
"Y'all fellers ain't goin' nowhere." The voice boomed.
"Ya'll?" Wendy questioned.
"Fellers?" Dipper muttered and his eyes widened. "Wait...Gideon!?"
"That's Sheriff Gideon!" The megaphone was lowered revealing Gideon in a blue sparkly cowboy outfit, and was on Ghost Eye's shoulders.
"Under the authority of Bill Cipher, I place you three under arrest!" He cried and suddenly waved happily.
"Oh hi, Wendy! Have we formerly met?"
"Wait...Gideon I know that name...you're the one who summoned Bill earlier this summer! Are you mad!? He'll destroy us all!" Ford cried in realization.
"That may have been true for you, but I plan on going through with my end of the deal. Bring 'em over here boys." Gideon ordered snapping his fingers and the prisoners lead the, over to Gideon and forced them on their knees.
"Wooooo-we! Look what the apocalypse dragged in! Y'all are in a twelve-piece bucket of deep fried trouble now! Ghost-Eyes! Spitoon!" Gideon ordered and quickly spit out his gum in the spitoon.
"Ugh, it's Gideon." Dipper groaned.
"And he's gotten folksier." Wendy added in annoyance.
"Ma' old pal Bill figured you might try to rescue Mabel. So he appointed me, master of these wastelands, and 'Keeper of the Bubble!" Gideon explained and gestured to the bubble.
"My sweet precious Mabel's trapped inside and I HAVE THE ONLY KEY!" He cried, showing them the golden key with the shooting star symbol. "Wrapped around my... well I wouldn't call it a neck exactly, wrapped around this little pocket of fat under ma' head?"
"Gideon, you have no right to keep her in there!" Duper cried angrily.
"You gave us that key!" Ford demanded and Gideon only smirked back at them.
"Bill explained it to me nice and simple: she was always destined to be mine!" Gideon said and took out a piece of newspaper from his head starring him and Mabel. "And now that I have her in a cage she'll learn to love me! I have an eternity to wait!"
Dipper glared angrily and Ford did as well and clenched his fist. Sure, he was mad that he was keeping his niece prisoner, but what upset him greatly was that Bill was taking advantage of a kid! It wasn't right and he needed to put an end to it.
"Ghost-Eyes! Ready to escort our friends to Bill's dungeon?" Gideon asked and Ghost-Eyes lifted up Dipper and Wendy while two other prisoners grabbed Ford's arms.
"Uh! No! Hey!" Dipper cried while struggling.
"Bill's gonna be mighty happy to see you Ford. You have a lot to catch up on." Gideon taunted.
"This isn't gonna work, Gideon." Wendy said sternly.
"Oh? And why's that?" Gideon asked smugly.
"Cause after I break Ghost-Eyes' arm and steal that key from your neck, I'm gonna wear your butt on my foot like a rhinestone slipper!" Wendy warned, causing the others to laugh.
"Oho, and what makes you think you can do all that?" Gideon laughed.
"'Cause I'm a flippin' CORDUROY!" Wendy declared and flipped over Ghost-Eye's arm and pulled him back. Dipper fell to the ground and tripped him over. Ford took a cue and wrenched his right arm out of one of the prisoners grasp and punched the other prisoner in the jaw, causing him to be free, grabbed his ray gun, and rushed over to Wendy and Dipper.
"Ghost-Eyes! My hench-angel!" Gideon cried and Wendy grabbed him.
"Ha!" She ripped the key from his neck and held him out to the prisoners.
"Get back! Get back! Or I will drop-kick him, I swear!" She threatened and the prisoners stayed back as the three rushed over to a car and Wendy broken through a window and unlocked it.
"You'll never get away with this, ya hear me?!" Gideon cried.
"Guess what? We already DID!" Wendy retorted and kicked Gideon to the other prisoners.
"Shouldn't I be driving?" Ford asked as Wendy got in the drivers seat.
"Shut up, and get in the car! This is war man!" Wendy cried and Ford got in the back seat as Dipper dipper went in the passenger seat.
"Wendy, you're the coolest person I know." Dipper deadpanned and Wendy smiled happily.
"I know dude. Tell me about it later." She smirked and started the car and they drove away.
"After them!" Gideon ordered and the prisoners got in there cars while Ghost-Eyes carried Gideon in his truck.
"You want your baby seat?" He asked.
"Yes please." Gideon replied and was fastened in his seat and grabbed his microphone.
"We are not letting 'em get Mabel! Discount Auto-mart Warriors, rollout!" Gideon cried and they drove after them. Meanwhile Dipper, was staring at the key to Mabel's bubble.
"Okay, all we have to do is outrace Gideon's henchmen, unlock the bubble, save Mabel, save the world." Dipper said and then noticed that Wendy had hit a mailbox and turned to her. "Quick question: did you ever get your driver's license?"
"Definitely not." Wendy replied.
"See, this is why I asked..."
"ARM!" Wendy cut Ford off as she swerved past the head with on arm.
"AH!" They cried and the monster ended up grabbing another car and ate that as the others avoided it.
"Swerve swerve!" Gideon cried as Ghost-Eyes avoided the head monster.
"I can't let 'em free Mabel!" He exclaimed frantically.
"Remind me why you're keeping your girlfriend in a prison bubble again? Have we, the prisoners, become the wardens?" Ghost-Eyes asked in confusion.
"SHE LOVES ME! She just doesn't know it yet. Now quit the philosophy." Gideon retorted angrily.
"Sorry, it was my major." Ghost-Eyes apologized. They then noticed that there was a certain obstacle that the group needed to get to.
"Ha! Weirdness bubbles blockin' the path! WOOOOWEE we got 'em now." Gideon cheered.
"Watch it! Go around that bubble field!" Dipper cried.
"No way around! Hold on! We're goin' through!" Wendy replied.
"Are you crazy? If we go in there, we may never come out the same!" Ford exclaimed in fear. Though even he could see that there wasn't any other option.
"What's even in there?!" Dipper asked and the car entered the bubble and the screamed and suddenly they had bird heads, everything they said came out in chirps.
"For some reason, I really want worms right now." Dipper chirped.
"Eat worms! Fly south! Nest!" Wendy tweeted eagerly and Ford leaned over with his own bird head.
"And fly in a V formation!" He added and the car suddenly exited the bubble and Dipper coughed up a few feathers.
"Oh that was horrible!" He groaned.
"Agreed." Ford sighed as he picked out a feather from his head.
"Here comes another one, dude! Brace yourself!" Wendy cried and the trio screamed as they suddenly became anime characters, made of meat, and were now live action.
That one in particular freaked them out.
Meanwhile, Gideon and Ghost-Eyes became 3-D blocks, girls, and an old fashioned versions of themselves, in black and white and a card came up later reading 'AAAAAAAAAUGH!'
Once both vehicles were back to normal, Ghost-Eyes slammed his truck against Wendy's car and broke the glass.
"Ah!" Wendy cried, blocking her face. Ford shot his ray at the truck, aiming for the tires, but unable to pip them.
"Ford, Wendy, we're almost there! We just have to make that jump!" Dipper cried, pointing to the ledge and Wendy gave a determined look.
"Total lack of driver's training, don't fail me now." Wendy said with determination and pressed down on the gas pedal and the car sped off. The group drove off the cliff and screamed as they flew through the air. The ground coming in fast.
"Brace yourselves!" Ford cried and the car crashed into the ground and rolled around and eventually stopped and was badly damaged. Dipper opened the passenger door and fell out.
"So...close...Mabel...I'm...almost there." He moaned while crawling in the ground and Ford managed to get out of the car, holding his head in pain and frozen when he saw a dark figure looming over Dipper ominously.
"Get back!" Ford warned, aiming is ray gun, only to see it was damaged in the crash and sparking. The figure then held pit its hand to Dipper and pulled back its hood.
"Heya, Dipper! How's it hanging?" Soos asked.
"Soos!" Dipper gasped excitedly and Wendy came up from the car.
"Soos?" She questioned and Ford sighed in relief.
"Handyman of the apocalypse, at your service." He greeted, tilting his hat slightly and walked over to Wendy.
"Soos! How'd you, where'd you..." Dipper sputtered as Ford walked over to him.
"I've been wandering the plains like a desperado, helping strangers. I guess there's some folk songs about me now?" Soos explained while looking over Wendy. "Let me see what the damage is, here. Ah, well the good news is: your arm is okay."
"So what's the bad news?" Dipper asked nervously.
"Bad news is we're surrounded, dudes." Soos replied.
"Of course." Ford deadpanned as the prisoners and Gideon surrounded while cheering.
"Wooowee. I dare say y'all almost had the jump on me there for a second. But this ain't your Gravity Falls anymore! Out here, I win!" Gideon cheered and clapped his hands and caught a conch and blowed loudly on it and a swarm of eye-bats heard the call and started flying towards them. "Bill's henchbats will be here any minute to retrieve y'all. MABEL'S MINE NOW! Hahahaha!"
"You're insane! Working for Bill..." Ford was cut off by Dipper placing his hand on Ford and walking over to Gideon.
"Is she?" Dipper asked, while shrugging, catching Gideon off guard.
"Well, yeah. I have her trapped, ergo, Mabel is MINE!" He reasoned.
"Gideon, listen to me, if I've learned anything this summer it's that you can't force someone to love you." Dipper explained and turned to Wendy briefly. "The best you can do is strive to be someone worthy of loving."
"Oh, I'm worthy o' lovin'! These prisoners love me!" Gideon retorted and the prisoners behind him cheered.
"But Mabel doesn't. Because you're selfish. But you can change! Bill thinks there's no heroes in this world, but if we work together and fight back, we can defeat him. You wanna be Mabel's hero? Stand up to Bill, and let us save her!" Dipper explained and he seemed to be getting through to the prisoners.
"That's crazy! You know what Bill would do to me if that happens?" Gideon cried.
"What, you scared of Bill?" Ghost-Eyes asked and Ford's expression soften as Gideon flinched.
"No, I ju... it's a complicated situation." Gideon tried to explain, but it was clear he was terrified what would happen to him.
"Look inside, Gideon. If all this is for Mabel, then ask yourself what Mabel would want you to do." Dipper urged, showing Gideon the key and he turned before taking out the article and reflecting on the photos of him and Mabel. In both she...didn't look happy. She looked confused and uncomfortable. He was silent for a moment and then spoke.
"Dipper. Will you tell her what I did?" He asked quietly.
"O-of course." Dipper nodded with a surprised look.
"I hope you're right about this." Gideon said sincerely and turned to the prisoners with a determined look. "Guys, new plan! Bill's minions are gonna be on us in seconds. But I'm not gonna let that dumb triangle be the warden o' me! Y'all ready for a good old fashioned prison brawl?"
"We're behind you for life, brother!" Ghost-Eysenck declared, holding up some chains.
"Fighting children is boring, but fighting a chaos god sounds fun!" A prisoner added.
"Let's do this!" Gideon cried and they drove off towards the Eyebat swarm. "Henchman, rollout!"
They cheered as they drove off and Ford, Dipper, Wendy and Soos watched them leave.
"Whew! And I thought I was gonna have to throw down!" Soos sighed in relief.
"Yes, that was very well done Dipper." Ford complimented. "You took down an army without raising a fist, Mabel would be proud."
"Thanks Uncle Ford, but it's not over yet..." Dipper said and turned to the bubble.
Much later, the group made it to the lock and were ready to enter the prison bubble to save Mabel.
"Okay, remember, guys. This is a prison bubble designed by Bill. We've got to prepare ourselves for what we find in here." Dipper explained.
"This was made to keep Mabel in, it may very well be inescapable." Ford added, glaring at the bubble.
"Whatever it is, we'll do it together. For Mabel!" Soos declared, putting his hand out.
"For Mabel!" Wendy cheered, placing her hand on Soos'. Both Ford and Dipper placed their own hands on the pile.
"For Mabel." They said in unison. Dipper then took the key and unlocked the padlock and the chain fell from the bubble to the ground. The group then held each other's hands before entering the mysterious bubble.
Their world turning white.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
So, what did ya think?
:D
Guest: Yep, the battle has begun, and Emily immediately got captured...for now at least.
Milky Boy Blue: Funny story, Emily isn't with Dipper and Wendy this chapter...I actually have been planning that since the beginning. Don't worry, she'll be back! Just took the back seat for this chapter for now. Hope you liked this chapter!
Pine Tree (Guest): Glad you liked that added detail, I thought I would do Mabel some justice. She's a great character. Hope this chapter was worth the wait.
mew mew 124: A lot happened in this chapter, and I hope you enjoyed it. As for Bill and the necklace, I will say this. Bill knows there's something up with it, he knows Emily is different from everyone else, but he doesn't know why. He's picked up on a flew clues, and he can sort of tell when something has to do with the necklace. Anyway, hope this chapter was worth the wait, really excited for the next chapter. Fair warning, it will be longer than this one. Bet you can guess why! ;)
