Surf Club - Angelo's

As Brax and Ricky were talking behind the bar as they started setting up for the lunch rush, they noticed one of the triplets walking up to them. Even though they struggled seeing a difference in Kyle and Lucas most of the time, Brax just knew the difference. And he could tell this one wasn't either of them, it was the triplet he had sent packing after threatening his own brother.

"Just what I need right now." Brax mutters to himself, Ricky frowning as she watches on, noticing something different as well.

"I'm not here to argue." He says, confirming it for Brax.

"Then what are you doing here?" Brax asks.

"I miss having Lucas around." Tyler says, going red slightly. "I was stupid before... I get impulsive and do things I don't mean. I want to change, so I can have my brothers in my life."

"And what's that got to do with me?"

"I need your help to do it. I know you're not going to let me get to know Kyle until I've proven myself to you... I need help to do that, I just don't know what." Tyler says.

"Okay." Brax nods.

"Really?" Tyler frowns, having thought it would take more convincing.

"Kyle goes red when he admits something he doesn't like to, you're doing the same." Brax says, lightly smirks as Tyler rubs his face. "But you have to prove yourself to me before this becomes a permanent thing, got it?"

"I can deal with that." Tyler quickly nods.

"Where are you staying?"

"The motel."

"Okay. I'll meet you there later and we'll discuss what happens next. Does Lucas know you're here?" Brax asks.

"No, he thinks I went back to Cairns after I last saw him. I've been trying to work out what to do, and you were my best shot." Tyler says.

"Okay. Just don't think you can use this opportunity to get back at Lucas for staying here, or you will regret stepping back in this town for real this time." Brax warns.

"I'm not, I really am here to make things right." Tyler says.

"Good. Now go back to your motel room and wait for me, I'll be done here soon." Brax says, Tyler nodding as he walks back out.

"See, it's not that hard to give second chances, is it?" Ricky smiles.

"Never said it was." Brax says.

"You never agreed to give Emily another chance." Ricky says. "Don't think I've forgotten that."

"What do you expect me to do, give her a speech?"

"No, but talking to her isn't a bad idea. Or better yet, be nice when Kyle talks about her. Don't think I haven't noticed the expressions you pull when he mentions her name or things they do." Ricky says, glancing at the door. "You've got more complicated things to sort out right now but I will not have you hating Emily any longer."

"Great." Brax mutters, three triplets sitting down at the bar. "What happened about you two going on a break and you going back to your motel room?" He faintly glares between each of them.

"I bumped into them outside and I couldn't just walk off." Tyler says.

"Can he stay longer?" Lucas asks Brax, not wanting it to come between them.

"That's not my choice to make. You're the triplets, you decide." Brax says, getting a smile from Ricky.

"What do you think?" Lucas asks Kyle, who was sitting next to him.

"We're triplets, there has to be three of us. Saying we're triplets when only two of us were here, it sounded weird." Kyle says. "I want you to decide." He says, Lucas looking thrown as he looks back at Brax, who turns to Tyler.

"We don't have a spare room at the house, so you'd have to find somewhere, or stay in the motel longer." Brax says. "There's a temp job at the gym that you can take if the spot hasn't been filled, but there's nothing permanent yet. We could work something out if you prove that you want to be here."

"Great, I won't let you down." Tyler smiles before looking sheepish. "I already looked at some places and it would be cheaper for me to stay at the motel until something comes up."

"Why won't you spend a little more so you don't have to live at the motel?" Lucas asks.

"There's nothing going around here that would suit me, so I don't mind waiting a little longer." Tyler says.

"Well why don't you sleep on my floor until you do?" Lucas says, shooting his gaze to Brax. "Only if that's okay with you, it's your house and I'd be fine if you didn't want to let it happen."

"If you're okay with it, then I guess I can cope with having an even busier house." Brax says.

"Great." Lucas grins. "So do you want to?" He asks Tyler.

"It'll be like when we were kids." Tyler smiles. "Just don't go saying goodnight to all your teddies three times before going to sleep."

"I don't do that! I don't even have any, I was a kid then." Lucas glares.

"What are the house rules?" Tyler asks.

"You have to help out with the rent, like the rest of us. Also no house parties, no drugs and no getting into trouble with the law." Lucas says, looking at Brax to see if he remembered right.

"First sign of trouble and you're on your own." Brax says. "I don't take no shit, you've got one chance and that's it. It's no different for anyone else before you go thinking I'm being harsh on just you."

"Isn't this a criminal family?" Tyler asks. "Just from what I've heard about our dad."

"We used to, that changed a long time ago." Brax says. "This family is staying on the right path and I don't need anyone thinking otherwise, so stick to the rules and everything will be fine."

"Okay." Tyler nods.

"Don't you two have shifts to be getting back to?" Brax stares at Kyle and Lucas.

"Yep." They both nod, standing up to get back to it.

"What am I meant to do?" Tyler asks.

"We'll go down to the gym and get your paperwork sorted. Then I'll see if Heath or Casey is free to give you an induction." Brax says, walking around the bar. "They're your other two brothers if you were wondering."

"I've met Heath, he wasn't very nice." Tyler says, keeping his head down as Brax glares at him before they head down to the gym.

"Well this is going to be very interesting." Kyle comments as Lucas goes to take an order from customers near the back of the restaurant.

"So you've got your other triplet to know, how's that going to be for you?" Ricky says.

"I think it will be okay." Kyle says. "Lucas says Tyler is easier to get on with, so I reckon it won't be too hard. But what if it's harder getting to know him with everything else I've got going on?"

"If you're afraid of it messing up, then you take it at your own speed. You don't have to rush into anything you don't want to do and you know you've always got us to go to for advice when you need it." Ricky says.

"I know, I'm really grateful for that." Kyle says.

"And do you want to know something else?" Ricky says, smiling at him.

"What?" Kyle frowns.

"Brax is going to be nice towards your relationship with Emily or he'll have me to deal with. I've spoken to him again and he's still a bit wary but that's because he doesn't want you to get hurt by her again." Ricky says.

"He doesn't have to worry about me. I've seen a different side to her this time and we're a lot stronger than we were before. Although I'm not sure about this telling each other everything." Kyle says.

"How come?" Ricky asks.

"She's telling me literally everything that happens in her day. This morning she had a photoshoot for wedding dresses and had to put on fifteen different dresses." Kyle says. "She's being too excessive with the information so she doesn't mess up again. I've tried telling her she doesn't have to be so thorough, but she said she wants to."

"Fifteen wedding dresses in one morning?" Ricky says, impressed with the number.

"That's alongside six different make up changes and eleven different hairstyles." Kyle adds. "I'm going insane with all of this information."

"Least you know what she's up to, isn't that the whole idea of being honest with each other." Ricky smirks.

"Don't smile, this isn't a laughing matter." Kyle moans, needing to work out how he was going to get her to calm down with the information sharing.

"Kyle, just tell her you don't need every detail of her day. If you make it known that she doesn't need to share everything, then it will be fine." Ricky says.

"I've tried." Kyle sighs, leaning into his hands.
