*Entry #40: The Fusion Monsters

Well, I reluctantly decided to go back to the Kindergarden to see if there was anything I might have missed. Turns out, I did. Right underneath the canyon, there is a dormant lab that seemed to work with fusion experiments. Apparently, the Homeworld Gems were taking pieces of shattered gems and force-fused them. There were mutant monsters in the form of appendages merged together. I found myself surrounded by mutant abominations that seemed like they came from my nightmares. I managed to lose them, I think, but they could catch me and tear me apart. Gotta keep an eye out for those things in case they decided to follow me.
