Sarah (startled): Reese..
Kyle: It is unusual for you to fall asleep on the couch.
Sarah: Today has been a long and hard day for me. I am exhausted.
Kyle (touching Sarah's stomach): I believe your tiredness is the result of something else
Sarah: My period has been late
Pops (perking up): Your period has been late
Sarah: Yes
Pops: We should take you to the local convenient store. You must buy a test asap.
Sarah: Are you referring to a pregnancy test?
Pops: Yes
Sarah: I will buy a pregnancy test if it will make you happy.
Kyle (excited): I have a feeling that Baby John is on his way
Sarah (touching her stomach): I believe you, but let me buy and take the test first.
(Accompanied by Kyle (Jai) and Pops (Arnold), Sarah (Emilia) buys a pregnancy test at a local convenient store. The pregnancy test results turn out to be positive).

Situation: A 12th week ultrasound test
The doctor (putting gel on Sarah's stomach): Lets see how this baby is doing
Sarah (anxious and nervous): I am twelve weeks along. This pregnancy has been difficult. I almost miscarried. I wonder if I am in the safe zone?
Kyle (squeezing Sarah's hand): Everything will be ok
Sarah (to the doctor): Please tell me the truth
The doctor (examining the baby who has a strong heartbeat): I can locate a fetal heartbeat. The baby is growing properly. You are indeed in the safe zone.
Sarah (relieved): Thank God
Pops: John is strong just like his mom

Place: A Hospital Delivery Room
Event: John's birth and Death
Sarah (trying to rest and relax before the next contraction comes): OH My Precious Baby
Kyle (touching Sarah's stomach): It won't be long now
Sarah (giving into her pain again): AHA...AHA..AHA..AHA
The doctor (resuming his post): PUSH! SARAH! PUSH!
Sarah (crying and pushing really hard): It hurts, but John is coming. I can feel him.
Kyle (readjusting the pillows behind Sarah's back): Honey, you are doing a beautiful amazing job. Keep your eyes on the prize.
Sarah (sobbing uncontrollably): OH GOD! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP.
Pops (holding Sarah): Your suffering is almost over
(Sarah pushes until she feels a great release. All they hear is silence instead of a newborn baby's cry).
