That night out at the Snyder farm Rosanna walked in and found jack sitting at the table with Molly and Holden;" Hey, guys."
"Hey. Thanks for coming." said her ex-brother-in-law;" As I already told you on the phone I need your help with planning a valentine's day surprise for Carly."
"What kind of valentine's day surprise?" asked she;" Do you really think that planning something special for valentine's day is going to fix everything, Jack. Maybe you should focus more on getting your wife to sign those divorce papers."
"I'm already doing my best to get Janet to sign those damn papers! answered Jack annoyed;" I just want to show Carly how much she means to me and that I want nothing more than to be with her!"
"It's a nice idea." began his friend hesitating;" I'm just not sure if Carly will be happy with it, Jack. Especially since you're not even divorced yet and she feels like you guys can't go out in public as if you're together as long as you're still married to Janet."
"But we are together, Molly. Just because I'm not divorced yet that doesn't mean that we're not together! I want to be together with her more than anything!" replied he;" She knows that!"
"You might have told her that, but Carly is still worried that something will happen and break the two of you up again." said Molly;" Going out on the town on valentine's day isn't the answer. That won't make my cousin feel any better about the whole situation."
"My plan wasn't to go out on the town!" sighed her friend;" I have a much more romantic plan. I'm hoping it will show Carly just how much I love her and that she's mine forever. But I will need you guys to help me!"
"Then let's hear it." answered Rosanna;" All I want is for my sister to be happy!"
"So do i." said Molly;" Tell us your plan. If I can help to make my cousin happy than I will do it. But please try and get Janet to sign those damn papers fast because this is killing Carly. I'm not sure how much more she can take right now, Jack."
"I know. And I am doing my best to get Janet to sign those divorce papers." promised he;" I am!"
Carly was cleaning up in the kitchen when Sage walked in;" Hey, mom."
"Hey, honey." said she looking up;" Where are your brothers?"
"They are upstairs playing some stupid game." answered her daughter;" Do you need some help with cleaning up?"
"No, thanks, Sage. I'm almost done anyway." replied Carly with a faint smile;" Why don't you go and watch some tv, honey. I will join you in a few minutes."
"Can we watch the dvd of when I was born and you married dad in Montana?" asked she;" Can we, mom?"
"Sure." replied her mother surprised;" But why do you want to watch that again, Sage? Haven't you watched it like a thousand times already?"
"I love watching that dvd." smiled Sage as she grabbed her mother's wrist and pulled Carly with her;" Let's go and watch it again, mom."
"I wasn't finished with cleaning up yet!" answered she while Sage nearly pushed her down on to the couch and sat down next to her;" Sage!"
"Let's watch the dvd and I will finish up the cleaning later." promised her daughter with a smile;" I promise."
"Okay." laughed Carly;" That's a deal."
