Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Frozen Flame. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Frozen; Disney and a few others do.
(Enchanted Forest.)
Pyram could only think about Elsa who was probably taking on the entire ocean. He was angry at his former friend who had followed him to this land to sow destruction against this land. He was continuing to wonder if his friend just wanted power… Or they even had a goal to begin with.
Pyram passed through the thickets of trees. It made him feel calm and collected. He was very amused when it came down to it? He could live here forever, the peace it gave him helped himself focus.
Pyram could also faintly hear the sounds of the ocean. The ocean was Ignis's saving grace. It made their kingdom feel less like it was from another dimension… It also reminded him of the grace that he felt from being around Elsa.
Pyram was interrupted by more soldiers which caused him to draw his sword.
"How many people will you lead to your deaths?" Pyram asked with a raised eyebrow as he rushed forward.
(With Elsa)
Elsa perched atop a large rock and looked over the ocean. The currents called to her… But so, did the idea that she was missing something she didn't understand in this location.
Why did the ocean call to her like this? What made her special enough to have this signal be transmitted to her? She was a queen with strange powers, yes… But to be fair? She didn't understand these powers just as Pyram didn't either.
She was drawn back to her thoughts of Pyram once more. The king of Ignis was on mind as much as her sister was. The king made her question herself when it came down to it. Elsa sighed when she rubbed at her temples. Her thoughts turned back to the ocean, but still continued to turn back to Pyram.
The waves rose at her and she glared at them, whatever beast had come from the ocean? Pyram had allowed her to deal with one guardian as he had dealt with another one…. But in her mind? She was dealing with a monster beyond understanding. He had dealt with a salamander… Not exactly a fair trade.
"Why do I keep thinking of him?" Elsa questioned herself while she blinked and turned back towards the ocean.
Elsa took a step towards the edge only for a massive wave of water to greet her. Elsa unleashed a torrent of cold which froze the tide of liquid in its tracks. It made Elsa wonder if nature itself was greeting her… She wouldn't back down from its challenge.
She could hear Pyram battling the soldiers on land. His power could bring so much destruction... And instead? Pyram was protecting others with that power. Elsa didn't see Pyram as a monster like he seemed to believe he was. She didn't know what was going on… But she was going to find out what had driven her from Arendelle… And what had brought Pyram and her here.
She started to rush into the ocean once more. Her feet against stone being the only noise she seemed to hear.
(With Pyram)
Pyram looked around at the retreating soldiers. He was quite curious as to what happened next. They had come at him again… Only to be beaten down again… He couldn't handle them being here… Destroying everything around them. Pyram hated the destruction.
Pyram cracked his fingers while he turned and slowly trudged to the cliff face. He sighed and rested his sword on his back. Pyram was wishing they had left well enough alone. They needed to be driven from this forest so nature could heal and they could be protected… Pyram didn't like things being left neat and protected. They had to be safe. This forest was something he wouldn't allow them to destroy it.
"Nor would I allow them to trample the people here like cattle." Pyram stated to himself and looked out over the waves that graced the ocean.
"What has enough power to control the entire ocean?" Pyram questioned as he turned and looked to the side.
Pyram hummed and tapped his sword on his shoulder while looking around at the environment. This area was still making him feel odd when it came down to it. Whoever controlled the ocean would have to be massively powerful to control such energy like this. Pyram didn't know if Elsa or even he could hope to deal with this. Pyram prayed for Elsa to be ok, if she was hurt? He couldn't bare to think of how horrible it would be to witness her death… Let alone sleep through it and all that.
It only made Pyram hope they were defeated sooner or later. The sooner things were handled? The sooner they could get down to business… And get down to finding out whoever was behind this signal they kept getting to begin with.
