Harry Potter x Ashes of Love Crossover

Just a little something I thought of. Hope you enjoy!

In the year 28612, the Flower Immortal Zi Fen had brought her daughter to the world.

Magical power pulsed through the room as it entered and swirled around the Flower Deity, who lay on her bed, too weak to move from her injuries. Groaning in pain, she watched from her half opened eyelids the forming of a six petal frost flower as it took shape in the form of her child. The young child was introduced to the world crying as Chief Peony held onto her after her transformation.

"Pass on my order. No one is to know of the story of my child. Any one who disobeys must destroy their spirit!"

The twenty four Chiefs of the Flower Realm all knelt in front of the Flower Deity and said, "We shall obey your order! If we break our oath, we shall destroy our spirits!"

Zi fen smiled weakly at her new daughter, before taking out an elixir and handing it to Chief Haitang(Begonia). She might not have much time left, but she was going to do everything in her power to protect her child, so she wouldn't end up like her.

"This elixir is the Yun Elixir. It will cut off her feelings of love." the Flower Deity explained after her little one had consumed the pill.

"Chief!"

"Chief, is that truly necessary?" Chief Mudan(Peony) asked, looking at the baby in her arms with worry.

Zi Fen never once looked away from her daughter. Oh how she wished she had the strength to hold her, but alas, she was barely clinging to her life as it was from the numerous burnt organs and injuries she attained. It was only through sheer will that she had managed to live this long to give birth.

"I have predicted that within the first 10,000 years of her life, my daughter will suffer from a love trial. This elixir will block the trial and protect her. I don't want her to end up like I did." she said, reaching out to touch her daughter. She had such small hands, that she couldn't help but regret not being in her life.

"I shall name her Jin Mi."

"Congratulations on the birth of young Immortal Jin Mi." the Twenty-four Flower Ladies paid their respects.

"After I pass away, I don't want Jin Mi to be the new Flower Deity. I want her to live a free and happy life." Zi Fen smiled, her eyes never once leaving her child.

Chief Mudan panicked, "My Lady, please reconsider. How can the Flora Realm have no Deity?"

"All of you will take turns in blooming the flowers in accordance of the four seasons and take care of the Floral Realm."

"We will follow your order, My Lady!"

"One more thing, during the next ten thousand years, I don't want my daughter to leave the Flora Realm. Even with the Yun Elixir, I still worry for her." Zi Fen's breath started to slow, but she knew these ladies would do as she told them. She was touched by their loyalty and sincerity. These were the ladies she had gone through so much with and had never once left her side. Her daughter would be fine in their hands.

"Yes, My Lady." Chief Mudan and Chief Haitang bow in understanding.

Having finished everything she needed to do and say, the strength from her body gave out and the last thing Zi Fen saw was her small new born child. With her eyes closed, and her hands dropping to her side, her spiritual power swirled and dissipated from before the Twenty-four Flower Ladies.

They all cried out for their lady whom they all respected and loved for not just as the Flower Deity, but as a person as well. They all vowed that they would make sure her child Jin Mi would be well looked after and no harm would come to her, even if it cost them their lives.

Zi Fen, the Flower Deity of the Flora Realm had passed away on the Frost Descent of the year 28612, but it would only be a year later during summer 28613 that the rest of the realms learn of her death. No one would know of her daughter, or that she even had a child and the Flower Ladies would make sure it would stay that way.

Unknown that the little child had a few secrets of her own.

In the normally peaceful days of the Floral Realm, there were not so peaceful days as well. Most, if not all of them were because of the child that was currently being chased by two Flower Ladies.

"Stop chasing me, I didn't do anything wrong!" a young girl who looked about eight years old yelled as she jumped over some fallen branches.

"Nothing wrong?! Then what do you call the glue on me!?" one of the ladies exclaimed, sending a flower spell at the young girl, but said girl turned another corner, dodging it.

"It just means you're lazy. Why didn't you clean it up? Or is it a new fashion trend?" she grinned, sending a spell of her own towards them.

The second flower lady smirked and the young girl had a bad feeling, which was proven right when other flower ladies appeared, surrounding her.

"You've been dealing with your tricks for a thousand year. Did you really think we wouldn't learn a thing or two Jin Mi?" she said and the young girl, Jin Mi simply shrugged.

"Getting caught in my prank still means you have a lot to learn. What would the six realms say about our realm when they learn that our powerful Flower Ladies can get tricked by a little grape sprite. Tsk, tsk, how shameful." she wiggled her finger.

Instead of getting angry, it seemed to fuel the ladies even more.

One of the ladies, Chief Haitang who was second to only the Great Floral Fairy Mudan, and also the one who Jin Mi liked to the prank the most stepped forward with a grin, "Are you going to surrender?"

Jin Mi slide into a battle stance, "Never."

Anyone from the other realms would have been appalled at fight between six Flower Ladies and a young grape sprite, but for the Floral Realm, this was a normal occurrence. Jin Mi always stirred up trouble by doing something and the retaliated, normally with a fight, or getting back at her-the second one always failing.

The Great Floral Fairy had allowed it and even sometimes joined in because it was a great experience for young Jin Mi. No one was serious hurt and the extra practice was a good work out for them as she always tried different spells or way to get free. They had taken the words of her mother, their late Deity to heart and cultivating, fighting and learning new spells were the best ways Jin Mi could protect herself.

Using her flexibility and acrobatic skills she had gained over the years Jin Mi outmaneuvered them and stood on the water and controlling it, sent it to her opponents, who looked shock. Water came easy to, it was something she had learnt in secret as a trump card and seeing that they were overwhelming her, she had to think fast. Her repertoire of water spells were small, but her most favorite was learning how to stand on water. It was so much fun to create water lilies with each step.

"Stop." came the voice of the Great Floral Fairy. Immediately, they all stopped their battle and stood in front of her.

"Greetings to the Great Floral Fairy." they all said, but the lady only had her eyes on Jin Mi.

"How long have you've been able to control water?" she asked in an urgent tone.

"A couple years. I was learning water spells after I realize controlling water was easy." Jin Mi said, not understanding why the others were giving each other looks. "Oh, I can do something really cool too. Look!"

Jumping back on the water, she lightly stepped on the surface a few times, and with each step a water lily was formed. She heard gasped from the group and she wondered why some of them had tears in their eyes.

"Hey, why are you crying? Did you not like it? I won't do it again if you don't want me to." she might play pranks on them and joke with them, but these ladies had raised her and taken care of her all her life. They were family and meant a lot to her.

"Don't think too much about it." the normally stern and strict Mudan gave her a light smile, "Its getting late. I will bring you back home." she said.

Jin Mi nodded and smiled goodbye to the others, "Next time I'll defiantly win!"

"You wish!" Chief Haitang, who was also the most competitive smirked and they all flew off.

Jin Mi's house was covered in trees and plants. It was a beautifully built wooden house that she had redecorated throughout the years. The front yard had a lovely stream of water that around the house like a moat, and a wooden bridge was used to cross over, with small flowers decorated over it. It had a table and chairs that were shaded by large trees and a sturdy swing for her to play with.

It was a beautiful and lovely house, one she took great pride in making it not lose its natural look.

"Sleep well. You'll have a long day of classes tomorrow Jin Mi." the Great Floral Fairy said as they stopped by her door. "Is there anything you need?"

"No, but thank you. I'll be fine." Jin Mi waved her off, wondering what she should make for dinner.

Mudan sighed, knowing how independent her late Lady's child was, "Very well. If you need anything, don't for get to ask. Make sure you sleep early." she said and then took out a box and gave it to her, "This is the medical scrolls you wanted from the Mortal Realm on acupuncture. I've added silver needles as well."

Jin Mi squealed as she took the box and hugged the older woman, "Thank you Great Floral Fairy. You won't regret it, I promise." she said, smiling at the box, holding it tightly.

"You've been working hard in your studies and excel in everything except cultivation. Learning medical skills is a great venture, but you can't slack off on your other classes, especially if you want to leave the Mirror Water one day, alright?" she said sternly.

"Okay, I promise." she said earnestly and then frowned, "But my cultivation..." with her head bowed down, she didn't see Mudan's wince.

"Forget about that. You're efforts will not go in vain." she said and ushered her inside, "Now inside and lock up."

With her departure, Jin Mi turned, opened her door and went inside. If the outside of her house looked rural and to preserve its natural looks, the inside of her house was not.

"What shall I have for dinner today?" Jin Mi hummed as she pressed the side of her wall with a rune. Immediately, the entire place was lit up by bright lights, a contrast to the orange candle lights.

The living room was quite simple, as it had to couches, a table in the middle and a rocking chair she created at the side. Her windows were covered in beautifully made curtains, which she had also created.

From the living room, the kitchen was easily seen starting with the beautifully carved kitchen island that had two stools. The inside had a sink, a refrigerator and an oven which she modified with the use of her runes. The shelves didn't contain many plate and cups, but they did have other cooking utensils.

Her house had two floors and a basement.

The first floor contained the living room and kitchen. There was a back door where the backyard was, but she had turned it into a swimming pool. She styled it in a familiar way as her front yard. She loved her swimming pool the most.

A swirling stair case had to be used to get to the second floor. There was where her bedroom was, as well as a guest room and bathroom. They were also filled with wooden furniture with tiny flower carvings on each. The second floor, like the first floor was quite spacious for a single person, but Jin Mi loved the space.

Lastly, there was the basement, and this was where she did most of her projects. It wasn't completely underground, as there were small windows that would let the light and fresh air in. After getting interested in making pills, the Great Flower Fairy had helped her get a furnace and with access to scrolls on pill making, she was doing quite well, much to the other's delight. She decided she wanted to study medicine and healing, which was why Chief Mudan had gotten her the scrolls and needle set after she had proved herself.

The Flower Fairies worried about her and cared for her, she knew, and she also knew that they weren't worried on why her cultivation speed was slower than others, just as she did. It was also why she made her house large for one person and lived a carefree life of her choice.

Because she never got the chance to do so in her previous life as Iris Potter.

When she was first reborn into this world, she felt something shoved into her mouth and a majority of her powers were sealed. She didn't know why or how it had sealed her powers away, but from the small snippet she was able to understand, her new seer mother was dying and wanted to protect her from something that would happen to her in the first 10,000 years of her life.

Now the first time she heard that, she thought she heard wrong. Who the hell lives for 10,000 years and why did people see it as something normal? Well apparently in her new life, it was normal. She didn't know what to think of it, or of the fact that she wasn't exactly human anymore but a grape with a human form.

Oh and her seer dying mother was apparently the late Flower Deity.

She didn't know what Death was thinking when he sent her to this crazy new world, but after living in it for a few years, and then centuries, she had to say she loved it. Sure she aged slower than anyone due to the pill that was given to her-which she has yet to encounter in her scrolls-but living in the Floral Realm was incredible. Not only was it the most beautiful and refreshing place she had seen, the magic here was completely out of this world!

When she was Iris Potter, she had been a pawn, someone to be used by everyone. They had never seen the abused little girl who needed someone in her darkest times, whether it was the magical or non-magical world. So she had trained herself, in secret, on everything she could get her hands on.

And then Sirius died. And then she found out about the prophecy and her friends, the ones she had gone though so much together, weren't really her friends.

So she let go.

Albus Dumbledore always said it was her mother's love that had saved her, that she, Iris, was a person with so much love and that was why she was strong, but if she was honest with herself, Iris didn't think she knew what love was. She knew the concept of it, a person caring for another person, but that was all.

Perhaps her parents loved her, but she was too young to remember and then she lived with the Dureslys, who despised her. The magical world loved to praise her one time and hate her the next and her friends were all fakes. Maybe Sirius loved her and she him, but he had died to early for her to properly know about him.

Of course, she wasn't going to leave her property about for the fakers to take, so she took all her money from the Potter and Black vaults, as well as all the books from both families, her belongings and then jumped through the Veil of Death.

That was when she had met Death and learned about her cloak.

Seeing that it was his originally, Iris had no problem giving it back to him. It was something that she had gotten from her family, but it held no real value besides that for her. She also didn't want to fight Death of all being.

Much to her surprised, he offered her a new chance in life, with all her memories in tact as well as her magic. He had promised her that she would live a good life and she had agreed, she didn't have anything holding her back.

And that was how she was reborn into this new world as Jin Mi.

It had been a thousand years since then and she honestly never bothered with her live as Iris Potter anymore. She was now Jin Mi, a fruit fairy, and daughter of the late Flower Deity-though no one knew she knew the last bit. Death had been kind to her in giving her one final gift in the form of her trunk that had all her magical books and belongings.

The thousand years were long, but had always filled her days by doing something. Either she was playing, or painting, swimming, expand her house or recreate potions into pills. Jin Mi was quite happy with her life and now that she was given scrolls on how to preform acupuncture, she was going to be even busier.

She wanted to be strong enough to leave the Water Mirror and see the other realms. She knew about the Celestial, Demon and Mortal realms and the two other ones that no one ever mentioned for some reason. She wanted to see how the Mortal Realm looked like. But the Flower Ladies weren't going to let her go before her 10,000 years were up, so she decided to sneak off.

Not yet, of course, there was still so much things she needed to do. This new life was the best thing that could have happened to her and she was thankful towards Death everyday.

"Ohh~ I never had pancakes in a while. With my special honey!~" she squealed as she got out the ingredients.

Life was good for one grape sprite!

I might expand on this as I have a lot of ideas. Its a great drama to watch. There will be changes to the plot if I do continue with this.
