Doody's POV

I was thinking about asking Frenchy to marry me so I can find a job to work. I know we're only 19, but hey, it's 1960s! So Danny and I went to the park to meet up with Frenchy and Sandy. I brought my guitar with me. I was gonna sing, Those Magic Changes, to her. "Alright," Danny said stopping me. "Just be cool and do what I taught ya, Kay kid."

"You got it Zuko!" I smiled.

"That's my boy." He smiled. "Go get em' tiger." He winked.

I chuckled as I walked over to the with Danny walked behind me.

"Hello ladies." I greeted.

"Hi Doody." Sandy smiled.

"Doody, what are you doing with your guitar." Frenchy asked me.

"Because there is something I need to ask ya." I told her. "But I need to sing you a song first." She smiled.

"Go on bud." I heard Danny whispers and so I strummed my guitar to play, Those Magic Changes.

"What's that playin' on the radio? Why do I start swayin' to and fro? I have never heard that song before, but if I don't hear it anymore. It's still familiar to me sends a thrill right through me, 'Cause those chords remind me of the night that I first fell in love to those magic changes, my heart arranges. A melody that's never the same, a melody that's calling your name and begs you please come back to me! Please return to me. "Oh Doody." She starts.

I put my finger on her lips.

"Shh," I winked as she giggled. "Let me finish."

I helped her up as I hand my guitar to Danny and I turned back to Frenchy.

"Frenchy," I started. "The day when I met you, I've never knew an Angel could exits…until I met you."

She smiled.

"Francesca Alicia Facciano," I said as I kneeled down on my knee as she covers her mouth when Danny hand me a ringbox. "Will you make the happiest man on earth and marry me?"

"Oh Doody," She started. "Of course my sweet Doody!" She beamed.

"Yeah-whoo!" I cheered as I stood up, hugging her.

We heard the gang cheered.

"Congrats bestie!" Sandy said hugging her.

Then she hugs me.

"That's my Howdy Doody!" Kenickie exclaimed as he picked me off the ground and sprung me around.

"Yeah!" Putzie cheered as I ruffled his hair.

"I'm so proud of you!" Marty said hugging her and then me.

"Oh this is the best day ever." Frenchy smiled as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Anything for my love." I told her as I wiped the tears away and kissed her head.

"I'm so proud of you my boy." Danny said hugging me.

I chuckled at him.

"Thanks Zuko." I said smiling up at him as he patted the back of my head.
