Hi, guys! Time for the next chapter :)

Thanks for the review, deadone1013. It's always a pleasure to hear your thoughts! :)) But you'll have to wait and see how the story develops! :)

I'm introducing someone I always loved on the show here, you all know the character and I really didn't like how their story ended so I decided to add a bit of a spin of my own.

Happy reading! :)

Dean is really pissed off. I can tell by the way his jaw clenches and the dangerous light in his green eyes. Sam is concerned, worry written all over his face. Kevin is just patiently waiting for me to drop the bomb, ready for the worst. He looks exhausted, tired of life. Ben on the other hand... I'm ready to strangle him with my bare hands.

The four of them ambushed me when I came back home less than five minutes ago. As I descended down the stairs I heard a clamor in the war room. The four of them were there, waiting for me. Severe cough pushed through my chest and I barely managed to suppress it, yet I felt the familiar salty taste of blood in my mouth. Rowena is right. I'm definitely running out of time. Ben was the one to pull me out of my thoughts, saying:

"Tell them, or I will." The kid was deadly serious, "I'm done covering for you. It's bad enough as it is."

I feel exposed, betrayed. But I'm not going down without a fight. I will do anything to protect them. Even if it costs me my life.

I swallow and take a deep breath to steady my nerves as I drop my bags on the table in the war room.

"Fine." I roll my eyes at Ben and turn to the Winchesters, " I might or might have not done something..." I scratch my neck, looking for the right word, "Stupid."

"Yeah," Ben huffs, "As this even covers it."

"Shut it, Junior!" I bark at Ben, barely restraining myself from wringing his neck.

Sam and Dean exchange a long knowing look. Usually, I admire their silent communication bur right now it's playing on my nerves.

"What did you do?" Dean's voice is dangerously low.

I cross my arms and look at him with all the disobedience I can muster. With all my courage and strength I have left. I'm ready for the upcoming shitstorm.

"I made a deal with Crowley."

There is a second of complete silence and then the room explodes with a whirlpool of exclamations, curses, questions, and accusations.

"You did what!?"

"How could you!"

"Are you crazy?"

"You sold your soul?!"

And on, and on, and on. Sam, Dean, Kevin... They are all enraged, shocked, and shouting one after the other creating more chaos than necessary. Sam is in complete bewilderment, his eyes huge as he watches me in disbelief. Kevin is so angry he looks as if he'll explode any second. But Dean, he is the one I worry about the most, his eyes shining dangerously in his anger and worry. I lean on the table, and pointedly stare at my nails, not paying them even an ounce of my attention. Only Ben is not yelling at me. He knows what I just did. And he's not happy about it. I silently mouth at him "You promised. Keep it.", accompanied with a warning look. He nods in defeat.

There's a sharp whistle, piercing my ears. I look at the threshold of the library. Just like everybody else.

"What the hell is happening?" the girl has a slight speech impediment.

I examine her from top to toe. She's slim but fit. Her right arm and shoulder are bandaged, there's a gun in her free hand. Instinctively I reach for my weapon even though the boys don't seem concerned with her presence. Her dark eyes are defying, strong, and demanding. Hunter's eyes. Judging her attire and her mussed chocolate brown hair, we obviously woke her up.

"I didn't realize we had a guest." I quietly say, arching my brows and removing my hand from the gun in the waist of my jeans.

"Eileen," Sam shoots up from his chair, approaching the girl, "Sorry for waking you up."

"You didn't, Sam." a small smile plays at her lips, "I suppose that's Braeden." she reaches her hand, "I'm Eileen Leahy."

Her grip is firm and I grin at her, ignoring Dean's dark expression as he eyes me carefully.

"Nice to meet you."

"Eileen's a legacy." Sam adds and only now I notice the file on the table reading Record of Membership, "Edward Durbin II was her grandfather. He was inducted in 1939, part of a small delegation that was sent to Europe."

There's something different about him. Something more... Gentle than usual. Something I haven't seen in a long time, even before Amelia. My eyes fly to Eileen and I smile. Dean catches my look as Sam continues his monologue, explaining Eileen's heritage and how they worked together on the case. Dean's look is hard and disapproving of me. I barely manage to suppress my shiver.

"Take it easy, Men-of-Letters-pedia." I roll my eyes at Sam and Eileen grins, "So you're a hunter, too?"

"Yeah," she nods and points to the boys, "They really helped me with the banshee. And offered me a place to stay while I recover" she manages to lift her injured arm.

"That's great. I'm glad they did. It's rare to meet another kickass woman in the trade, you know." I smile apologetically at her, "Really sorry for waking you up. Just a family quarrel." I wrinkle my nose and wave dismissively, "The boys tend to shoot first and ask questions later."

"Oh, really?" there's an edge in Dean's voice, his eyes dark.

"Care to explain, then?" Kevin nonchalantly asks, putting his legs on the table, rocking on the back legs of the chair.

"If you, idjits, had let me finish," I roll my eyes at them, trying to sound calm, "You'd realize I did not sell my soul. My end of the deal was more... Material."

"How so?" Sam furrows his brows trying to understand.

"I got his bones."

"His bones? How?" Dean looks curious now, his anger not so obvious.

"I hired a witch to find them for me."

"A witch?!" it's Ben who exclaims in disbelief.

"Are you gonna parrot everything I say, or are you gonna ask some real questions here." I snap and I can swear I see Eileen suppressing a smile.

"What was his end of the bargain?" Kevin says.

"Finally! Good one." I smile at him, "It's you."

"Me?"

"Yes. You, them, us." I click my fingers and show everyone around me, "Everybody I care about. Everybody we care about."

"You made him leave me alone?" the chair's legs knock hard on the floor, there is pure surprise as the realization downs on Kevin, "I'm... I..."

"You're free, kid," Dean says.

I carefully eye him as the older Winchester walks next to me, putting his arm on my shoulder, squeezing gently. And then he pulls me into a tight hug, his face buried in my hair. He was worried about me, yet he understands, I realize. Relief washes upon me. I don't realize I'm holding my breath until he protectively wrapped his arms around me.

Ben stares at me, then shaking his head, leaves. I realize the kid is pissed and disappointed in me. My little stunt tonight just bought me little time. I'm only avoiding the inevitable. But that is a trouble for tomorrow. Right now I'm going to enjoy my little victory.

Kevin jumps off his chair, whooping around and, pulling me from Dean, crashes me into a hug, jumping up and down, laughing in his joy. I almost trip over my feet because of his enthusiasm.

"Easy, Kev." I smile at him as Dean steadies me.

"Thank you! Thank you..." his happiness is more than obvious, tears in his eyes, "Braeden, I... I don't know how to... I..."

"Just go out there and do your best." I shrug, "You know, like becoming the first Asian president."

"This ship has long sailed," Kevin laughs, "Oh, my god! Just wait I tell Mom!" and he runs out of the room.

I can't take the smile off my face. Dean leans in, his lips brushing my temple. I know he is still unhappy with what I did. Mainly because I didn't tell a soul about it.

"You did good." he whispers, "Stupid, dangerous... But good."

"You could've told us, you know," Sam says.

"Oh, really?" I pull away from Dean, eyeing the taller Winchester, "So you could try and stop me?"

"From what I see," Eileen smiles brightly at me, "Only trying and failing miserably."

"Which side are you on?" there's pretend offense in Sam's voice, his eyes shine in amusement.

"We girls gotta stick together, you know." Eileen shrugs.

"Hear, hear." I nod at her in appreciation.

Sam shakes his head, a small smile playing on his lips.

"You got lucky that witch didn't stab you in the back."

"I know, Winchester. Trust me, I know."

"Since we're all still up, how about a movie?" he enthusiastically offers

"Thanks, but no, thanks." I shake my head simultaneously with Dean, "I'm beat."

Eileen smiles at Sam. She looks so tiny next to his tall form. They head out and the moment we lose them out of sight, Dean pulls me back to him, guiding me to his room.

"I'm still mad at you." there still is a bit of edge in his tone, but I know I'm out of trouble.

"You're mad because I didn't tell you or because you got worried sick?"

"Both." he sighs. "You can tell me everything, you know. I might not understand it so easily as Sam, but I'm here for you. Whatever you need to talk about. I'm here."

Tears prick in my eyes, my chest tightens. I don't deserve him. His heart of gold will be the death of me. I turn to him and give him a bruising kiss, pouring all my feelings for him in it.

"What was that for?" Dean is breathless as he pulls away from me.

"I might have some ideas on how to earn your forgiveness," I smirk at him suggestively.

He chuckles as I impatiently pull him towards the room, swaying my hips in the most provocative way I can.

"You're gonna be the death of me, Honey B." he mutters as he closes the door behind us and pulls me for a kiss.

Only if he knew... I push away the dark thoughts and let the sensations take me over. I am resolved to enjoy every little moment of pure happiness I have left.

I realize Eileen is deaf the hard way. I didn't realize her speech impediment is a result of losing her hearing. She almost stabbed me the next morning because she didn't hear me entering the kitchen and I obviously took her by surprise. After an awkward moment of staring at each other as I still hold her hand holding the knife, we burst into laughter.

"I'm sorry." I apologize again, "I didn't..."

"Stop it already," Eileen scolds me, though I see the smile in her eyes, "You couldn't have known."

"So it's because of the banshee?"

"Yeah, the banshee we were hunting...it killed my parents. Almost thirty years ago." she shrugs, "A hunter found me in my crib, ears bleeding. Lillian O'Grady, she'd been tracking the Banshee. Never found it, though."

"So she raised you?" I ask as I prepare two mugs of coffee.

"More like trained me. She died when I was 16." she simply states, but I can sense her pain at the memory.

"I'm so sorry, Eileen. Was it on the job?"

"Cancer."

"Oh... And you've been on your own ever since?"

"I prefer working alone. Trust issues."

"Believe me, I know." I chuckle and add milk into my mug, "But the boys are different."

"I noticed. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here." she shrugs as I hand her the other mug. "Sam's really nice."

I suppress my smile. I was wondering when she would ask. I knew the moment I saw them together, she and Sam have a thing.

"Is that a question?" I casually inquire, taking a sip of my coffee.

"Are you implying something?" Eileen eyes me carefully.

"Nothing at all." I purse my bottom lip and shake my head.

She looks quite exasperated and even a bit embarrassed. Eileen speeds for the door but I gently stop her.

"He's not seeing anyone." I smile at her, "He's got bad history so don't push him. Take it easy and you'll see it's worth it. He is worth it."

"Just like Dean, huh?"

"Exactly like Dean. Any Winchester is worth it, Eileen. Mark my word."

I always shipped Sam and Eileen and really liked the idea of them being endgame. I'd like to hear how you think all this mess Braeden's in will turn out. :) Drop me a review and tell me what you think about this development. :))
