Elevator
"I can't believe we have to take the elevator," XR grumbled as Nos pressed a button. "And all because our wings got damaged back outside."
"It's better than taking the stairs," Nos explained as the elevator doors opened. "Besides, we didn't even know our target was going to have back-up, let alone said back-up would damage our wings."
"I'm just glad we won't be slowing the others down," XR sighed as they went into the empty elevator. "Their chances of getting the guy would've been slim."
"I just hope they'll be alright without us," Nos sighed as he pressed a button to take them to the top floor. The doors then closed, and the elevator started to go up. They then waited for a few seconds before the elevator suddenly shook and stopped.
"Whoa!" XR cried out, falling into Nos's arms as the lights flickered off. "What happened?"
"I don't know," Nos asked, helping him up. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah. Just give me a sec so I can call Buzz." He then turned on his communicator. "XR to Buzz. Come in. Do you read me?"
"Buzz to XR," Buzz answered. "Are you two okay?"
"Yeah, but we're stuck in the elevator. What happened?"
"The suspect cut the power to make his getaway. We're getting close, but it's going to take a while. You'll have to stay put until we get the power back on."
"Great…" XR sighed, slumping onto the floor with his back against the back wall. "This won't be good on the report."
"Don't worry, XR," Nos said to him as he settled down next to him. "The suspect probably thought we would ambush him via elevator."
"I just hope Pops doesn't get on my case about it," XR grumbled. "I mean, he did say this guy's a 'sly sneak,' but I didn't think he was that sly and sneaky."
"Well," Nos said, doing some scanning, "the good news is there's no one else in the elevator; therefore, you and I are the only ones trapped."
"I guess that's good," XR sighed as he glanced up at the ceiling. "I can't find any signs of an escape hatch. Don't these people care about elevator safety?"
"Well, we can make the best of the situation until the power's fixed."
"How? Truth or dare?" XR blinked when Nos pressed a button to retract his helmet.
"I was think more of…" He tipped the smaller bot's chin up to look up at his eyes glowing seductively. "Seven minute in Heaven~" XR's eyes brightened with surprise.
"Oh, no…"
"Oh, yes~" Nos purred, nuzzling his neck and making him squirm.
"Nos~" XR whined, sounding cute for his Energy Vampire.
"You know you want to~
XR whined again in reply. He knows Nos is right; he always fantasized about making out with his boyfriend in a stuck elevator.
"Alright," he whimpered, "but nothing more than kissing, okay? I don't want the others to know about that." Nos purred as he pulled his Little One onto his lap and wrapped his arms around him.
"I give you my word~" And he pressed his lips in XR's, and the smaller bot wrapped his arms around his neck to kiss him back.
Few minutes later*
"Buzz to XR," Buzz said into his communicator. "You read me?"
"Yeah, Buzz?"
"We got the building's power back on. Keep away from the doors until they open to let you two out. We'll see you on the top floor."
"Roger." Buzz, Mira, and Booster then waited by the elevator for a minute before the doors opened, letting the two robots out.
"Are you two okay?" Booster asked them.
"Yeah, we're good, Booster," XR answered, glancing over at Nos with a small smirk. "Nos was able to keep me from going claustrophobic." Nos simply smirked back.
