''Your stance is a Little of Naruto.'' Mikoto says as she watches the boys in her backyard training. ''Your feet should be a little more apart.''

After they all had dinner her husband went to his office to do some more work. Itachi went off to train on his own. Shisui is apparently on a mission. Naruto and Sasuke asked if she could help them with their stances. That is why they are in the backyard.

Before they went training they first decided to make a cake. She had gotten a new recipe from a friend who found it on an old scroll. So she wanted to try it out. The boys wanted to help her out. That didn't really go that well. The boys are friends, she can see that. But they also fight a lot. They kind of remind her of some siblings in the clan. Luckily she has quick reflexes so nothing was broken but their clothes were a lost cause with all the flour on it so she made them change and will have to wash those clothes some time. In the end they put the cake in de oven and now have to wait. Thinking about the cake, it should be almost done Mikoto muses as she watches the sky.

''Why are you and Sakura so good at these stances?'' Naruto complains. He never really got a hang on them. Not even with Iruka's extra help. He would much rather use his own style but they are getting graded on using the academy stances.

Sasuke looks at him with a blank look and then his eyes flash red as he points at them. He also hasn't used those stances in a long time. He learned a lot of different fighting styles under Orochimaru and has made his own style. Sakura still remembered them and uses them a lot in her own style so she had no problems.

''Sakura?'' They hear Sasuke's mother ask them as she walks closer to them.

Naruto gives Sasuke a look. You didn't tell your mother about Sakura?

Sasuke gives him a look back. I didn't want her to be put in this situation with the Uchiha clan since it would put her parents also in a situation. But he isn't sure if Naruto gets it.

Spending time with him and Naruto at the academy is one thing but spending time at their places is a whole other thing. Especially since Sakura is civilian born. Her parents might have certain thoughts about Sasuke and Naruto. Though now that he thinks about it they should really talk about it. He knows Sakura can handle any backlash of being associated with the Uchiha clan and Naruto but he doesn't know if her parents and family can.

At this point the village still hates Naruto and their opinion on the Uchiha clan isn't much better. Though they are working on that.

He also doesn't know how his parents will react or his clan. His mom will probably be happy that he has more friends. But would they mind she is civilian born? Not that it matters to him, Sakura is really strong, a good kunochi.

But he does want his family to meet her. Since just like Naruto she is important to him.

''Yeah she is our friend to!'' Naruto smiles.

''She?'' Her mother blinks and then smiles. Sasuke knows that smile. She always wears it when she sees Itachi and Izumi together.

''Mom!'' Sasuke shouts feeling he has to stop her thought progress. His mom looks at him and then her smile softens and she ruffles his hair as she laughs. ''All right I will let it go but I would like to meet her. You are my sweet boy I need to protect you. I know how popular Uchiha's are. ''

''Sakura isn't some fangirl. '' Anymore. Naruto raises an eyebrow at him. ''But I will ask her though she is very busy with her parents.'' His mother nods and tells them the cake is ready. They walk into the house and eat the cake. Sasuke and Naruto then do their homework while Mikoto washes their clothes. It is already dark by the time they have finished. Mikoto walks back in the room with Naruto's washed clothes.

''Mom? Can Naruto stay over again?'' Sasuke asks.

''Sure.'' His mother answers. Naruto has stayed over a few times already and she doesn't mind. She actually enjoys it. She knows the boy is on his own and it reassures her if she can keep an eye on him. But the last week he has spend almost every day at their house and she doesn't want him to feel pressured to stay over just because she and Sasuke enjoy it.

''I don't mind at all if you want to. Though you have stayed a lot over the last few days. Is there something wrong with your apartment? If something is broken we can help fix it.''

''Nothing.'' Naruto answers.

''Everything.'' Sasuke replies.

The boys glare at each other.

''Nothing is broken, but-'' Naruto looks down and pulls at his sleeves. ''Well I get a little lonely.''

Mikoto gives a sad smile and then hugs Naruto who is stunned at first but then returns it.

''You are always welcome here.''

''Thanks!'' Naruto replies.

They part after a moment and Naruto looks at her like he wants to say something more.

''What is it?'' She asks.

''I also don't like being alone because there are rumours going around children are going missing and since I am living alone I am an easy target.''

Mikoto blinks and hides her shock. ''Were did you hear that from?''

Sasuke and Naruto share a look. ''Children from our class.'' At Mikoto's raised eyebrows Naruto elaborates.

'' I lived in a orphanage before. I saw this old man with bandages talk to one of the children at the orphanage before. That kid was quite talented at being a shinobi. The next day no one ever heard from him again. The child vanished.''

''Those are just stories to scare you.'' Mikoto tries to reassure them but she can't shake her mind from who the man with bandages could be.

''One day when we had a lesson outside the academy an old man with bandages was looking at me and Naruto but we both didn't know him. Naruto called a teacher but the teacher said he was an important figure of the village and an Elder on the council.'' Sasuke responds.

Mikoto's eyes narrow. ''Have you told anyone about this?''

Naruto shakes his head and Sasuke nods. ''Shisui.''

''I will tell your father to look at it okay? But just to be safe I don't want you two out alone on your own in unpopulated places.''

Both boys nod.

As both boys continue practising she makes her way up Fugaka's office. She needs to talk with him.

This was not supposed to be this long O.o

Well next chapter is also part of this but it will be much shorter.

A few sentences come from chapter 26 or 27.

I am still thinking about how sakura can meet sasuke's parents...it might take a while.
