James kept me in the hospital for two weeks. I honestly needed it. I've finally gotten a small hang of the artificial wrist and hand. I got a robotic looking one cause well..Star Wars.
Fran loves it a lot honestly. The other two are positive about it. They were with me everyday after school. It was the same time on the dot.
Shelby was just always there. The moms and grands came and went with everyone too. Shelby though never really left. She's taken all of this to heart.
But now she can't be right beside me. She almost didn't let me leave the house. After we pointed out it was ok for me to go back to school she relented. I could tell she wasn't happy though.
I can imagine I'd be in her shoes if I was her though. I could've lost someone I love and that takes a toll on you. But I'm still here thankfully. Sam is my Shelby in school today.
She has been at my locker after every class. She even almost fought a guy for getting too close. She's been very scary. I appreciate the feeling of love and care though.
"There you are!" I look up and smile seeing Grace with Samantha "Come on! It's time for glee!"
"Ugh" She glares and I chuckle "I thought I wasn't going today?"
"The moms and James said you could watch" I roll my eyes and Sam grabs my artificial hand "Let's go!"
I let her pull it off and then scream "AHHH MY ARM!" She drops it and goes wide eyed before glaring again causing me to lose it "I-I got you!"
"That was evil" Grace smiles "I loved it!"
"You've corrupted my sweet grace" Sam glares "I hope you're happy with yourself"
"Fully" I bend down and pick up my hand "Now lets go"
I follow them to the room with light conversation. It's honestly good to be back here. It gives me some normalcy. Makes me feel like I'm not different now.
I get stopped at the door by the duo and look at them confused. Are we not going in now? Did my hand fall off?!...no it's still attached.
"What's going on?" I go for the handle but sam stops me "What are you two up to? Just let me into the glee room ok? Please?"
"Fine" Sam moves aside "Go in"
"SURPRISE!" The door is open and I'm floored "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
"W-what's this?" I look around and see so many things that are just me "What's going on?"
"We didn't give you a birthday party" I look at Shelby who gives a nervous smile "So we figured..bring your party to you and your friends! It gives you all a chance to be together...some generic and normal"
"It was Shelby's idea" Judy smiles "It was all her"
I smile and look at Shelby "Thank you" I run over and hug her "THANK YOU!"
"No problem love" She wraps her arms around me "I'll never make you feel unloved again"
"Now" Maribel claps and I look "The club has prepared a song to sing for you!"
I turn and see the club standing on the risers. I smile and lean into Shelby as the music starts. This is so amazing. Normalcy is kicking in right now.
-Group singing-

"Thank you" I smile and wipe some tears that feel off my face "You all are amazing"
"Ug!" I look and see Rachel down on the ground holding up a picture "Ere!"
"Thank you" I look at it and smile "It's beautiful"
"Let's party!" Music starts and everyone cheers. Madison walks over to me with a smile "Enjoy it sweetie! You deserve it"
I smile and give her a big hug. After that I join my girlfriends, friends, and family as we party. This has definitely made up for the missed birthday. Would've been better to still have my actual wrist and hand though.
But that's more on me than anyone else.
-Time skip-
"Hey sugar?" I turn and look at Carole "Can I talk to you over there?"
"Sure?" I follow her to a secluded corner "What's going on?"
"I have a song" She looks around then back at me "I have something I wanna announce and...I wanna ask if I can do it now? I don't wanna overshadow you though! I shouldn't have asked"
"Is this about Amanda?" She blushes and nods shyly "I think you should sing your sing right now to her!"
"Really?" I nod and she gives me a big hug "Thank you!"
She walks away and I join back with the group. Soon there's a microphone tap and we all look. Carole looks at the band kids and nods. I hope this is good.
-Carole singing-

"Oh Carole" Amanda runs over and kisses her "I love you!"
We all clap and I smile "You're such a good person" I look over at Shelby who's smiling "You gave up attention at your party for them"
"It's my party and I can lose attention if I want to" We both laugh and she pulls me into her "You think bad things well stop happening?"
"Maybe soon" She gives me a kiss on the head "But then again it's all of us"
"True" we laugh again "Thanks for this mom"
She gives me a big hug and I smile. This has been amazing. Hopefully everything gets better though. We need some good luck.
We are waaaaayyyy over due for it.
