"Well, now that you've decided on your hero names, it's time to go into detail with your internships." Aizawa explained as Bulla passed out the list of offers to the respective students. "They'll last for one week, and you'll choose from those who sent you offers. Those of you who weren't on the board will choose from a different list of agencies, so you have a lot to think about, since there are about forty agencies from around the country who has decided to take part in this phase of your curriculum." He continued as Bulla sat in her seat. "Each agency has a different specialty that its heroes focus on. Keep that in mind."

"Imagine that you were Thirteen," Kayama interjected, "you'd want to choose a place that focuses on rescuing people, rather than fighting villains. Understand?"

"Think carefully before you decide." Aizawa told his class sternly.

"Yes, Sir!"

"Turn in your choices before the weekend." Aizawa told them as he passed Kayama, who waved goodbye to the students.

"We've only got two days?!" Sero called out.

"Yeah, so it'd behoove you to get started." He said before closing the door, leaving his class behind.

"So guys..." Ashido said, laying across her desk. "Have you decided what hero agency you're going to go for?"

"Man, so many choices..." Bulla said to herself as she looked through the ever-expanding list of names. "That one might be good..."

"Hey, Class Rep." Jiro said as she got up from her seat. "I bet you're having a hard time choosing. I wish I could have been flashy enough to get even a hundred offers!"

"Yeah, that fight with Son from Class 1B was something else!" Sato continued as he began to punch the air. "Remind me to never get on your bad side!"

"I didn't expect you to be such a brawler." Kaminari followed, leaning over as his hand rested on Bulla's desk. "A lady such as yourself shouldn't have to sully her hands with that kind of barbaric work."

"Kaminari, talk about my hands one more time, and you'll be too focused on your own." She told him with an innocent smile, simoultaneously cracking her knuckles.

"Hey, hey! I'm only kidding around, Class Rep!" He said, prompted to back away from her desk.

"So, have you made your choices yet?" Jiro asked her.

"Actually, I think I have. One name on here just caught my eye." She said as she jotted down three names, prompting Jiro to look.

"Wait, what?! Class Rep, I understand having Ryukyu and Best Jeanist on here, but are you sure you want this agency for you number one choice?!" Jiro asked, causing the boys to lean over.

"HUH?!" Altogether, the four students looked over to Todoroki, who met their joined gaze. Without a word, Bulla waved to him with a smile before underlining the name on her form.

"Yep. That's definitely my number one choice." She assured.

"Well, it's your choice, I guess... It'd be a privilege, don't get me wrong, but that guy's so scary in person. I'd hate to be the one to disappoint him." Kaminari said as he began to shiver.

As Bulla turned to Bakugo, their eyes met briefly before her turned towards the window, his head resting in his hand. "Please excuse me." Bulla told her friends as she stood abruptly. Marching over to Bakugo, she placed a hand on his desk and leaned towards him.

"What the hell do you want?" He said, his tone much more mellow than his usual demeanor. It was as if he wanted to yell, but couldn't bring himself to do it.

"I need you to come with me." She told him.

"Huh? Say that again." His regular glare began to form before Bulla grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the room, much to his dismay. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" After fifteen minutes of yelling, Bulla opened the door to the roof and swung her arm, throwing Bakugo outside before closing the door behind her. "What the hell is this...? You want a rematch that badly?!" He asked as sparks filled his palms.

"I lost my parents last year." She suddenly said, causing the air to fall still.

"Wha...Huh?! What the hell are you talking about!?" Her words threw him off guard, and he took a step back. What is with her?! Why would she just come right out with something like that?

Oh crap, did I mess that up! Is this not a good moment?Although she was no longer sure about her decision, her determination didn't waver. "During our match, you fought so hard, and matched me in every way. You wanted to know so badly what happened, you wanted to beat the truth out of me so that I could move forward. Well, there you have. My dad spent decades getting stronger, breaking his limits, and when in his final battle, it didn't even matter. That's why I'll become the strongest! I'll be even stronger than my dad, and when I do, I'll keep the world safe from harm!" She claimed, no longer hiding behind her mental weakness.

"Tsk. You stupid copycat..." Bakugo suddenly said as he clenched his fist, holding a thumb towards himself. "I'm going to be the strongest. I'll be even stronger than All Might, and I'll always win, just like he does!"

"Then, it's time. Katsuki Bakugo, I'm declaring you as my rival." She said, pointing a finger. "I'll keep getting stronger so that you won't surpass me!"

"Then you better keep on it. Because I'm not going to settle for second just like that." He told her with a confident smile as Bulla turned to open the door. As she took a step out, she walked down the stairs and made her way straight back to class.

"Really?! That's so cool! I can't believe you got an offer like that!" Pan said excitedly.

"What about you, who did you pick for your internship?"

"Oh, me?" Pan asked as the two girls walked down the sidewalk. "I chose Death Arms. I guess he thinks I'll be great for close-quarter encounters!" She said as she pumped her fist.

"Death Arms? I think Jiro was choosing him as well..." Bulla recalled.

"By the way, I thought that you were going to the a therapist after school from now on?"

"Yeah, I was, but since the internships started up basically right away, and I assured them that I'm doing better with the pills, they decided to put it off until the internships are over." After a moment of silence, Bulla suddenly told her friend about her conversation earlier. "So, uh...I dragged Bakugo to the roof today, and I told him about my parents."

"Oooh, a little alone time with Bakugo, is that right?" Pan teased, raising her eyebrows. "I don't Sandayo is going to like that too much."

"Shut up!" Bulla yelled. "What does Sandayo have to do with this anyway?"

"You know he liikes you!" Pan told her, nudging at her friend with her elbow.

"Come on, Pan, stop-" Before Bulla could finish, she stopped at the sound of a scream. "What was-?!"

"Let's go!" As Pan dashed toward the sound of the noise, Bulla grabbed her by the wrist. "What are you doing, Bulla!? She's in trouble!"

Although the source of the noise was just down an alleyway not ten meters in front of them, Bulla's grip tightened. "We can't."

"What do you mean?! Let go!" Despite her struggle, Bulla refused to comply

"Pan this world has rules, laws that we can't put ourselves above. A hero will save her, I know it." After a moment of silence, Pan's brows furrowed, and she yanked her arm away.

"Screw that shit!" With a white aura erupting around her, she flew down the sidewalk and into the alleyway, instantly throwing a punch into the back of a large figure's head. As his head jerked forward, he held a hand over his head.

"Hey, hey hey," he spoke in a deep raspy voice. "What was that about?" As he turned around, a large snout peeked out from under a pair of sunglasses. The furry man stood well over 200 centimeters, and was clad in a large tuxedo. His claws were a clear reminder that Pan had to be careful.

The man next to him stood at about 170 centimeters, with black slacks and a red long-sleeve, button-up collared shirt. His face was full of shock, and in his hands was a blue purse that matched the blue and black dress that the woman before them was wearing. His short black was styled to lay over to his right side.

"Give it back to her!" Pan yelled as she dashed forward, throwing a heavy kick forward. As the man raised his arms protectively, the bearish man in the tuxedo blocked her attack.

"You don't want to get involved with us, kid! Just back off!" The bear threatened as he stood in between Pan and the man.

She leaped back before dashing forward and unloaded a series of swifts kicks, but to no avail. Her attacks could not penetrate the bear's defenses.

Suddenly, as Pan slammed her foot against her opponent and pushed herself off, a blur of blue zipped past. As she dashed forward to keep pace, Pan and Bulla closed the distance in a flash, unleashing a combined tandem kick that knocked the large bear-man into the wall behind him.

"I've called the police. Give up now, and we'll go easy on you." Bulla said in a bluff as the man slapped his hand against his head.

"Girls!" Suddenly, a blond man in a white costume, donning the number '1,000,000' on his chest, phased through the wall next to them. "What's going on here?"

"Mr. Togata! These villains were trying to rob this lady!" Pan shouted frantically.

"Oh, girls!" The woman said as she walked past the man, effortlessly removing her purse from his grasp. As she leaned over, holding her hands on her knees, she smiled. "I wasn't in any kind of trouble!" As she raised her hand, her faced filled with joy once again. "My boyfriend just proposed to me!"

Bulla and Pan's eyes widened at the realization. "S-So that scream-!?" Bulla started.

"Just overwhelmed!" The woman said with a smile again.

"And the bear-!?" Pan followed.

"My best friend, who is also my best man, who was acting as our chauffeur and butler for the day." The man explained. Bulla and Pan were dumbfounded, and both began to feel the heat in their rosy cheeks.

"I'm sorry that these girls acted in such a way, sir. Please allow for any repercussions to fall on my behalf." Lemillion told them, holding a hand over his chest. After taking a deep breath, the new groom-to-be grabbed Lemillion's shoulder and turned him around, laying his arm across his shoulders and around his neck before the two walked over to the girls.

"Now look here, girls. My girlfriend and I have dated for two years, and I've been planning this proposal for a month. So honestly, yeah, I'm pretty upset by all this. Plus you knocked out my best friend." He told them as the two girls bowed their heads.

"We're so sorry!"

"But, all things considered, this could have been worse. I popped the question, she said yes, and my buddy over there will be fine if I treat him to some drinks." He whispered. "And this is the time for me to look cool, but merciful." Suddenly, his tone became louder as he put on a performance. "Although you girls were so rude to interrupt my fiancé's perfect day, I'll let you off with a warning this time! Mr. Hero, please keep an eye on your proteges!"

"A humble and wonderful choice, Sir!" Lemillion told him, playing along. "Your kindness must know no bounds, and your fiancé will be a very lucky woman, indeed!"

"Oh~! So forgiving, dear! I didn't know you could get any more perfect!" The bride-to-be said, swooning over his words.

"Haha! My dear, the only perfect one here is you!" The man said as the two embraced.

"Gross. Can we get out of here?" Pan asked as Lemillion turned around, grabbing the two girls by their ears and dragging them out of the alleyway.

"Girls, we need to have a talk." Lemillion told them, removing his helmet and meeting their eyes as they rubbed their ears. "I understand that the two of you did great in the Sports Festival, and it's good for you to understand the lengths of your strength, but there are laws that govern heroes." He scolded. "If the police had been called by either party, this would not have gone well for you. Unlicensed uses of one's Quirk are not acceptable, unless regulated and allowed by a authority figure under the circumstances of hero course training. This is because you're young, and your ability to perceive and process situations have not fully grown yet. Who threw the first punch?"

"I did, Mr. Togata..." Pan said as she raised her hand in defeat.

As punishment, Togata flicked her on the forehead, and continued his lecture. "You rushed in without taking in the situation. Didn't you noticed how I asked what was going on before doing anything?" He asked as both girls nodded. "You need to be aware of these things, because the smallest bit of knowledge of what came before can change your whole perspective, and flip who the actual villain is. Until you get your Provisional Licenses, I don't want to find you using your Quirks outside again, unless authorized by a hero. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, Sir..." The girls said in unison as Togata stood up, donning his helmet once more.

"Now come on, I'll take you home."

That night, Togata's words mulled in Bulla's mind. As she lied in bed, looking at the ceiling, she thought about what he said. The Provisional License. From what we studied, it's what you need in order to use your Quirks like a hero does. Apparently, only a slim fraction of those who apply actually make it through the test. That means... Bulla sat up and picked up the ceiling tile above her. As she grabbed at her sword, she could feel that where the blade was, all she felt was wood. As she pulled it out and braced for the weight, she caught it quickly and hoisted it onto her bed. Looking down, the newly formed scabbard was white, and towards the end, the width shrunk inward slightly. Towards the middle of the scabbard, white nylon wrapped tightly around, and secured a golden plate that connected to a leather chest buckle. Where the scabbard met the handguard, a pentagonal plate wrapped around, its patterns matching the handguard above it.

"Wow..." Altogether, the blade was beautiful, and with a determined smile, Bulla jumped down from her bed, pulling down her sword, and ran outside. Just strapping it to her back, she could feel the struggle of trying to move with an extra twenty kilograms. As she grit her teeth, she wondered how her father's rival managed to train with five times the added weight. Struggling to draw it from its scabbard, the point of the sword fell straight to the ground. This is insane! But I won't give up! Bulla thought as she shifted her left hand towards the pommel, and her right against the handguard, creating a makeshift levee system out of her arms. Over and over again, she held the sword above her head and allowed it to drop, using all of her might to catch it on the downswing. I'll get stronger! No matter what!

Her determination didn't go unnoticed, as Iwase stood just outside the door, her arms held across her chest. "Bulla... I have no doubt that you'll reach your goal." She said to herself.

"Ms. Iwase, dinner's almost ready!" Pan called out as she searched for younger kids to help her set the table.

"I'll be there in just a second." She called back before looking back to her protégé one more time, a smile spread across her face.

It was the first day of their internships, and Class 1A lined up along the train tracks. "Everyone has their costumes, right?" Aizawa asked. "Keep in mind that you don't have permission to wear them out in public, yet. And don't even think about losing them."

"Gotcha!" Ashido said with joy.

"Speak properly!" Their teacher scolded. "It's 'Yes, sir,' Ashido."

"Yes, Sir..." She said in defeat as Aizawa continued.

"Make sure you mind your manners with the other heroes during your internships. Now get to it."

"Yes, Sir." The class said in unison as Bulla approached Todoroki, her briefcase in hand and a long black bag on her back.

"You ready to go, Todoroki?" Bulla asked him with a smile.

"Wait, what do you...?" His voice trailed off before he could finish his question. All of sudden, he realized what Bulla was saying, and his eyes widened slightly. "Do you actually mean-?!"

"That's right! I got an offer from Endeavor!" She told him excitedly, a big smile across her face. "Pretty cool, huh?!"

"It's...certainly a shock..." Todoroki told her, quickly composing himself again. "I guess it makes sense." As he walked away, looking for the appropriate train, Bulla followed closely behind, the two students ready to begin their week long internships at Endeavor Hero Agency.
