'If I remember correctly, Nezuko was the one who was able to wake them up—' But as I looked down at the young demon, doubts began to creep up in my mind.

'What if she was only able to do that because of those children and their connection to their subconscious?'

Well, if that was the case, then this was gonna be a whole lot more difficult than I initially imagined.

"Nezuko, dearie," I called out the small female as she looked around at the sleeping figures frantically, "Don't worry, they are not dead, just asleep— yes, yes, I know, there's a demon nearby and they are sleeping. It's because of that demon's blood art technique that they were sleeping and we have very less time to try to wake them up! So, listen clearly—" I got up from my position in front of her box and walked towards Inosuke and Zenitsu's sleeping figure, "—You are maybe the only one who can wake them up! Their conscious mind should be deep into their unconscious state by now, and the only way we can reach out to them is maybe by influencing them physically."

"Are you following me?" I asked Nezuko soberly as she nodded and looked towards her brother, "Yes, so, try to wake him up first— I'll try my luck with these two here."

I took a deep breath and repositioned the two younger slayers, their even breaths brushing over my hands as I vigorously shook them as my first attempt.

'That's no good,' I tried slapping, pinching, name-calling— nope, none of those is working.

"How had they woken up in the manga?" I asked myself quietly in English before my attention snapped towards incoming footsteps.

"H-How are they awake?!" The girl with twin-braids yelled in surprise while looking at her other companions, which I noticed were four more kids and none of the five looked any older than Tanjiro.

'These are the humans who did the dirty work for Enmu, aren't they?' I absent-mindedly mused as all five of them snapped and sprinted to attack me and Nezuko.

I swiftly avoided their awls as they tried to gang up on me.

"Do not harm them, Nezuko!" I ordered firmly before knocking a kid out in my left by chopping the underside of the back of their neck.

"Don't get in the way!" One of the girls screamed at me as she tried slicing my throat, "We can't have sweet dreams because of you! Just shut up and—"

"And what?" I asked bluntly as I knocked another boy unconscious, "You think that these dreams would last forever? That you'll be able to run away from your present if you live in them? Are you stupid?!" I yelled, feeling my anxiety-fueled anger grow as I took a step forward and glared at them.

"What would you know about it?!" The girl screamed at me with all her might, her eyes watering as the other kids looked at me with the same despair that was reflecting in that girl's eyes, "You don't know anything about what we are going through and—"

"And that warrants for you to take it out on others?" The kids froze as my voice dropped a few octaves, "What do you think? That I don't know how you feel? Bullshit. I may not know what your past is, but I assure you when I say I've seen way more horror than you ever have." I took a deep breath to calm myself, "And please do try to understand this— the demon you're helping is going to kill you without any remorse. Even the dreams he shows hold no guarantee of being the ones you want as he has no obligation to you once you have done what he wants. It'll be you with the blood on your hands, in the end, not him."

While they all stood in surprise and guilt, I took advantage of the moment and knocked all of them out— I know what I just did was very harsh and that they are nothing but misguided due to their unfortunate circumstances, but I didn't have much time left and their presence here was not only jeopardizing their own lives but the other passenger's as well.

'Not to mention, there's no use giving them false hope, at this point.' I sighed as I turned around to notice a bleeding Nezuko facing me with tears in her eyes.

"What the hell happened?!" I rushed in to check her forehead, "Did they get to you? I thought I had blocked their path and—"

"Mmnn!" Nezuko vigorously shook her head as she pointed towards Tanjiro's forehead and gestured.

"I... You tried head-butting him?" I asked unsurely, feeling rather amused as she nodded enthusiastically, "I don't think that's gonna work, sweetie. Your bother has a head as thick as a mountain."

I gently rubbed the blood off of her forehead with a cloth, being cautious of avoiding to touch the skin directly because even if her blood technically is used to nullify other demon's blood art, my own might still—

"Wait a second," my eyes widened as I scrambled off to find the ticket I had dropped earlier, "Nezuko! I know how to wake them up!"

The demon girl simply tilted her head as I handed her my ticket through the cloth I had in my hand, "Burn this! These tickets are what Enmu used to get his blood art to affect us!"

Nezuko's eyes brightened as she nodded and took the ticket from my hand to burn it— meanwhile, I took the liberty to search the other tickets on my fellow slayers.

I had collected Zenitsu and Inosuke's tickets when suddenly Tanjiro woke up screaming— startling me and his sister with his loud voice as we jumped away from him.

"Nezuko! Aneki!" He immediately got up from his seat, his eyes wandering to us in worry as he rubbed his neck with his left hand, "Are you alright?! Did the demon—"

"No, he didn't do anything major, yet." I informed him as I immediately handed the tickets to Nezuko, who then proceeded to burn them off with her blood while I searched Rengoku for his own ticket, "He had only sent a few humans down here to manipulate your consciousness while you all fell asleep— I've handled them for now. You go and handle the demon."

"Hai, Aneki!" Tanjiro instantly took his sword and turned to move out before turning to look at the fallen children sympathetically.

"Tanjiro?" He turned to me without any hesitation, his eyes looking softly at me, "The demon is on the roof of the train— somewhere near the first coaches. Go there and track him down; and don't you dare fall down, do you get me?!"

"Hai!" Tanjiro nodded as he moved forward before turning back to address his sister, "Nezuko! Don't come with me! Stay here with Aneki and help her wake everyone up!"

Nezuko nodded determinedly as I handed her Rengoku's ticket.

"Tanjiro!" I called him one last time, feeling my heart beating loudly as he turned to me from the door at the end of the coach.

"Hai, Aneki?"

"Just remember that we all are very proud of you!" I blurted out as my mind flashed back through the vague memories of his dreams in the manga, "And please be safe!"

Tanjiro stared at me with surprise, his eyes peering into mine for a good few minutes as I smiled reassuringly at him before he nodded and left to confront Enmu.

I took a deep breath to calm my thundering heart before turning to Nezuko, who was looking at me expectantly.

"Okay, first things first—" I pointed towards the still sleeping slayers, "Try waking them up. Now that the tickets are no longer in existence, they should be able to wake up, I think. Till then, I'll relocate these kids so that they are not harmed during the upcoming battle."

As we both proceeded to do just that, my mind quickly recounted whatever I remembered about the arc— which was, unfortunately, not much at all.

'Still better than nothing.' I reminded myself as the aura of the train shifted, 'Looks like Enmu is ready to devour—'

I jumped in surprise when Inosuke suddenly woke up— his war cry startling me as I absent-mindedly wondered if the other two would wake up screaming as well.

"Minions!" He yelled while tearing his uniform out to reach the swords on his back, "Where is Monjiro?!"

"He's on the roof of the train." I decided to ignore the first part of his statement, "Go help while I—"

"Ungaaaahh! Follow me, my minions! Pig assault!" Inosuke ignored me as he jumped through the roof after piercing it through with his swords.

How did I even end up with these gits again?

A shiver wracked my body as I broke out of my stupor, the feeling of Enmu's aura inflating made me feel even more queasy as fleshy in-growths started to appear all around the coach.

"Nezuko!" I yelled as I took out my fans and slashed the ones growing near me, "Go to the next coach and cut the in-growths, now! The demon is fusing with the train and trying to devour the passengers! I'll handle this coach!" I explained as I took out my flasks of blood and sprayed it through the compartment, making the in-growths shrivel and melt.

"Hmm," I heard someone hum as I turned to take out another growing fleshy in-growth, "Is that so?" Rengoku's voice vibrated near me before he glided his sword through the huge flesh in-growth behind me in a flash, "It seems like things took a turn while I had fallen asleep!"

"As a pillar, I'm ashamed of myself!" He loudly declared before turning to me and winking, "If there's a hole, then I want to bury myself in it!"

'Did he just—'

"Let's go, Sarota!" He suddenly grabbed my hand and jerked me forward, "We should check the other coaches before the demon eats any human!"

"Y-Yes!" I replied as we both rushed forward to the next coach; Nezuko (and I think I saw Zenitsu following her as well?) went to the coach in the opposite direction to where we were currently heading, so that left us with—

"There are eight coaches in this train!" Rengoku informed me as we entered the next coach, my eyes widening with the number of fleshy in-growths here, "I cannot handle all of the coaches alone! Let me take this one and you go to the next!"

I mutely nodded and I sprinted to the next one, wasting no time to take out my flasks and splash the demon flesh with my blood before cutting them off with my fans.

By the time I was done with my coach, Rengoku appeared behind me in a flash; his speed almost making the train car buckle as I stared at him in disbelief.

However, before I could say anything, the door of the coach opened and Tanjiro rolled up inside ungraciously— most likely due to the sudden jerk of the train coach.

"Kamado, my boy!" Rengoku called as we instantly approached the fallen boy, "I and Sarota have managed to contain the demon for now! But there's no time, so I'll speak to you quickly!"

He leaned forward as he directed Tanjiro about his plan, "This train has eight coaches! I and Sarota will handle six in the back while your sister and the yellow boy will protect the other two! You and your boar-head friend go for the demon's neck while watching out for the front of the train!"

"Neck!?" Tanjiro exclaimed as he looked at Rengoku in panic, "But now the demon's—"

"It doesn't matter what form a demon takes!" I replied as both the males turned to me, "As long as they are a demon, they will have a neck! Go to the front coaches with Inosuke as soon as possible and dig in for the neck— I can feel strong demonic energy near the engine of the train, so start from there!"

"H-Hai!" Tanjiro looked at us in bewilderment as we nodded and sprinted back to the coaches behind; Rengoku's strong movements making the train coaches tremble as I tried to keep up with him without falling flat on my face.

'Lord, he's strong.' I wondered silently as we passed by Nezuko and Zenitsu, briefly explaining to them our plan (even though Zenitsu was still asleep...?) before moving out to our respective positions.

"Rengoku!" I called out as we reached our intended coach, "Wanna divide the coaches three by three between us two or fight with me?"

Rengoku chuckled and replied that he was fine either way.

"Then I hope you won't mind fighting with me," I immediately retrieved another flask of my blood solution and handed it to Rengoku, "Here! This is my blood— it'll help you if any in-growth becomes particularly handful and it also increases the interval time between the regeneration of the flesh!"

Rengoku gingerly took the flask from my hand before we focused back on our given task; the in-growths were rapidly increasing in size and mass now and with each passing minute, demon flesh was rapidly growing off the roof and seats of the train.

With each attack, Rengoku and I found a rhythm as we moved through the last six coaches; he was rapidly cutting off the fleshy in-growths, while I sprayed them with my blood.

After my suggestion, Rengoku started to use my blood like some kind of pre-attack weapon, sprinkling it over the demonic part before cutting them off whenever any in-growth managed to get a human in its grasp.

The train trembled more and more as we kept on fighting with the demonic in-growths— I was feeling particularly nauseous by the time we had done with the last coach and Rengoku noticed it.

"Are you alright, Sarota?"

"Not particularly." I admitted as I felt bile rise from my stomach, "I've never been so close to a Demon Moon before; so, it's affecting me quite negatively."

"The demon we are fighting is a Demon Moon?" Rengoku asked in surprise as we kept moving forward to see if any in-growths regenerated.

"Yes, Lower moon, I think." I admitted as he slashed another fleshy in-growth while I relocated the human it tried attacking, "We need to remove the passengers as soon as possible. Staying here can cause some very adverse effects on them; especially with the decreasing oxygen."

"Ume!" Rengoku nodded before the entire train trembled and suddenly derailed off the track.

Unholy shrieking could be heard from outside as the in-growths flailed everywhere, making me and Rengoku jump into action as we wasted no time to cut off any fleshy part in our sight and moved through each coach with as much speed as we could.

As the whole train collapsed in a strange mess, all the coaches derailed and rolled over— giving us an opening as Rengoku spontaneously cut open the coach we were in.

"Get the passengers out!" Rengoku ordered me, "I'll see if anyone's harmed!"

As soon as he was off the sight, I focused all my energy on shifting the passengers to a safer area before collecting a sample of blood from the leftover flesh of the demon.

'I'll give it to Tamayo the next time I meet her.' I thought as I gingerly sealed the blood sample and got out of the damaged train, 'For now, I have something else to worry about—'

My body froze as I finally registered the dreading aura— my stomach immediately dropping to my toes as ran out to see the scene.

"Don't mind the weaklings, Kyojuro!" I heard Akaza tell as leapt forward to attack the Hashira in front of him, "Give it all you got! Focus on me—"

My heart rang in my ears as I approached the fighting pair; their attacks had almost no opening, but Akaza was more precocious than I anticipated as he jumped away the second I tried to attack him.

Meanwhile, Rengoku changed the course of his attack mid-way to avoid injuring me, but it was Akaza's blatant avoidance of me that seemed to surprise him more while his eyes swooped from that demon to me.

"Saro—" I didn't wait to hear his words as I focused back onto Akaza; I had only one goal right now, and that was to keep Akaza's focus all over me.

'The only way I can protect Rengoku,' I clicked my fans to open to it's extreme as I attacked him, 'Is by not leaving him alone.'

"Sarota, stop!"

Akaza kept dodging my attacks as glided my fans extremely near his body; I knew I didn't have the ability to take Akaza head-on, especially with my current standing in training, but I had the two advantages almost no one had on this field except me—

"Get away from me—!" Akaza jumped away from my attack again, but Rengoku attacked him from the other side this time which led him to move away from Rengoku and turn his back on me.

'There goes nothing!' I broke the glass vial of my concentrated blood solution on the Demon Moon's back, causing the said demon shriek and move away as I stumbled back with the force of his jump.

'The glass broke his skin!' I internally rejoiced as Rengoku roughly jerked me towards him.

"What are you doi—"

"Shut up and let me help you, Rengoku!" I glared at him as his head snapped towards the demon who was now moaning and screaming due to his melting back, "Don't be fucking stupid and try to take him alone!"

"Saro—"

"What did you do?!" Akaza growled loudly as his eyes set on me; however, he didn't even take a step forward as his back recovered from my attack, "Do you seriously think that would defeat me?"

I felt the hair at the back of my neck stand as Rengoku stood in front of me, "I have no intentions of killing you." I admitted shamelessly, making everyone's attention snap to me as I gave him (what I hoped was) a sly smile, "I only have to deter you till sunrise."

Akaza's eyes widened as he looked up at the sky; Rengoku, meanwhile, immediately looked down at me before turning to Akaza.

The Upper Moon showed no hesitation to attack Rengoku, but quickly shied away when I joined the Hashira in attacking him— which Rengoku noticed at once, finally convincing him enough to let me fight alongside him as we found a rhythm in our breathing styles.

Since I was not as strong — or as on the offensive side — as Rengoku, I naturally fell back to acting as a shield to him; protecting him from any direct blows from the demon as the Upper Moon fumbled with my presence there.

Rengoku silently kept giving me the lead as we both attacked him side by side— he more than me, for obvious reasons.

However, it was becoming very evidently clear how Akaza was getting more and more frustrated as he was unable to attack Rengoku without having the chance of harming or killing me in the process.

"Coward!" He yelled as he flipped over to attack Rengoku from the back, which he quickly countered by performing the First Form of Flame Breathing.

"I wasn't aware fighting with a companion was an act of cowardice!" Rengoku retorted as Akaza cursed and jumped away to a safe distance.

"As someone who trained in same martial arts—" he glared at Rengoku as I stepped up in front of him, "Aren't you aware that you are supposed to protect women?! No woman or child should—"

"And yet trying to kill our loved ones is totally acceptable, right?" I fired back as he blinked at me, "But God forbid if any female steps into the battlefield! Then the very fight is fucking unholy!"

Akaza bursted out in laughter as I rushed in to attack him again, "The fire in you is marvellous!" The demon praised as he dodged my attacks, flipping through the air when Rengoku attacked from the other side, "But you are weak!"

"Bold of you to assume physical strength is the only way one can be strong!" I yelled as took my Third Form to swiftly cut him through in circular motions of my fans.

Akaza stared at me in obvious fascination as I breathed heavily while I ignored Rengoku's worried glances.

"What are you?" Akaza asked me bluntly as he looked at the wounds in his body— they were healing alright, but much slower than before I broke the vial on his back, "What did you do to me?"

None of us replied as the demon approached to attack us for the first time after my appearance— my heart thundered in my chest as he attempted to attack me but Rengoku covered for me; however, as blows were exchanged, it was getting pretty obvious that he was aiming to kill Rengoku the first chance he gets.

"It's such a shame that you refuse to become a demon!" Akaza launched himself in air, delivering blow after blow towards me and Rengoku as we block it with our respective weapons, "It'll be pitiful to kill you both when you haven't reached your full potential."

Rengoku strikes up another form and attacks the demon, but he counters it pretty easily while somehow dodges my attacks with little to no damage— I could see his melted skin, but it didn't seem to affect him more than a 'simple' burn.

'I underestimated the amount of blood I would need to actually slow him down.' I cursed internally as Akaza's fist connected with Rengoku's forehead; which I immediately retaliated by cutting his wrist off.

Akaza didn't even bat an eye as he tried to regenerate his wrist back— which took him a good few seconds, resulting in Rengoku getting enough time to perform the Second Form of Flame Breathing on him.

Akaza dodged his technique and attempted to attack Rengoku while he barely managed to deflect all his blows with his katana.

"Accept my offer, Kyojuro." Akaza kept trying to pursue Rengoku as he almost blatantly ignored me, "The wonderful slashes which you and your partner attacked me with have completely healed. You are already injured enough, can't you see? If you were a demon, you would be cured in the blink of an eye. If you were a demon, this would be just a scratch!"

"No matter how much you struggle, humans can't beat demons." Akaza stated boldly as there was a pause in the fight.

"How's your back doing, again?" I huffed in irritation as the demon looked at me with clear annoyance.

My eyes quickly met Rengoku's as we both noticed that the fight wasn't going anywhere— with Akaza borderline avoiding to attack me and Rengoku and I countering his every attack, both the parties were equally beaten up.

'Even if we were a bit more than him.' I admitted internally as none of us let our guard down; the dawn was almost at us and if my calculations were right, Akaza should be getting desperate to leave now.

"It is my sole duty to protect people!" Rengoku started as he raised his sword and looked Akaza in the eye, "I won't let anybody here die tonight!"

"You know that includes you too, senpai?" I huffed when I attacked Akaza alongside him, my body slowly starting to ache and deteriorate with all the Akaza's blood being splattered into mine.

Rengoku and Akaza chuckled lightly at my jab— both finding humour in a completely different context as the fight continued.

"Give up, woman." Akaza declared as he took a step backwards, his strange yellow eyes staring me down as he looked at me with a strange expression, "This is not a fight between you and I."

"And how does it matter, exactly?" I huffed out I held out my fans in front of him, "I thought we already established that our morals and perspectives differed, didn't they?"

"What?" I gave out a short laugh as Akaza almost innocently looked at me with a confused expression.

"For you, the strength is in the physical body, ain't it?" I asked rhetorically as Rengoku prepared to perform a form while I stepped back, "For me, it's in the spirit and ability to protect someone." I tilted my fans to show him the engravings before Rengoku went in for his attack.

"Breath of Flames, Ninth form: Purgatory!" Rengoku swirled his speed in his hand before sprinting in towards the demon in a flash— making my heart thunder as the whole place had dust fill in.

'Was this the attack where he—' I almost felt sick when the thought crossed my mind until the dust cleared to show Rengoku standing there with his head bleeding and the bones in his left shoulder awfully... sticking out in odd angles?

I immediately sprinted up to Rengoku and stood in front of him like a shield; his slightly slacking posture making me worried as he smiled down at me.

"Is your shoulder broken?" I asked bluntly as he just shook his head.

"I'll be fine."

"You didn't deny that."

"Can't say I can."

I deadpanned as Akaza gave as a strange look; he looked pretty haggard himself, with a side of his head missing and left arm completely cut off.

'At least he is more damaged than he was in the manga?' I thought unsurely as I stood protectively in front of Rengoku. The sky had already started colouring with the colours of the dawn and I could literally feel Akaza's annoyance and desperation filtering in through his expression.

"Sarota," Rengoku started but I ignored him as I felt something shift in Akaza— and the very next moment, he was on us as I used my large fans as a makeshift shield.

"Get out of my way." He growled dangerously as I countered him with my Second Form, his eyes following my every move as I tried stabbing me quickly multiple times— most of them failing as I had to dodge his attacks as well.

He wasn't holding back his blows this time as I felt their shockwaves rattling through my bones— I was pretty sure that I had way too many cuts on my body because of his 'air' punches, and the more and more he came near me to attack, the paranoid I got for my own health.

'If his blood touches me—' then he'll know my biggest weakness. And so will Muzan. I can't let that happen.

I finally took a breather when Rengoku joined me; with the both of us in the game, we managed to drag Akaza in a deadlock as he tried to punch in Rengoku before I severed his whole fucking hand.

'How many times have we cut his arms, again?' I mused wryly as Rengoku caught his other arm in a deadlock while I took out my sword and lodged it into his neck.

With the two of us almost overpowering him, he desperately tried to regenerate his other hand as we pushed him to the ground on his back and practically sat on him, disabling him from moving any further away.

However, before I could pin down his other severed arm, he regenerated it fully and attacked me. In the split second that followed, three things happened simultaneously.

Without a moment's hesitation, Rengoku disarmed my sword (which was stuck in Akaza's neck) to stop Akaza's attack, resulting in a big slash across his arm. Akaza's arm ended up lodging into my own upper arm, making my posture buckle. And finally, Akaza's blood splattering from his arm, a good amount of it ending up on my face— directly in my eyes.

And the next thing that happened was an immediate tidal wave of surprise and pain that made me involuntarily scream out as I ducked.

Beyond this point, I could hardly hear or see anything as all my senses were overloaded with the pain concentrated in my eyes; I could feel the blood running down my face as I tried to rub them frantically in an unconscious level to stop them— resulting my hands to be all covered with demon blood before someone wrapped their hands around me dragged me away.

I tried to control my breathing as I practically felt my eyes melting off my face; the searing pain becoming more and more unbearable with each passing moment before a sudden warmth engulfed me.

I could feel someone shaking me as my hands were forced away from my face, letting the warm feeling engulf my whole face and reduce the searing pain.

"Miyasha?" A voice whispered in my ear, "Calm down. We are here. Just calm down. Breathe, okay? Breathe for me."

I followed the voice's instruction as my head becoming heavier with each passing second, breathing becoming more and more difficult as I tried my best to stay awake.

'Is this finally my end?' I thought morbidly as I could feel another person hugging me, my senses slowly becoming dull as I lost my consciousness.

I could hear voices when I came back to reality; my consciousness gradually returning back to me as everything near me became clearer.

And oh boy, I sure didn't want that.

"Ah, fuck." I groaned as I tried moving around and immediately regretted it— I had a massive headache the made me feel like someone was pulling on my brain nerves and my whole skin was feeling like someone rubbed chillies all over it.

"Miyasha?!" Someone, whom my muddled head couldn't exactly recognise at the moment, called out as they reached for my cheek— realize that I had something unfamiliar wrapped around my face.

"Yeah?" I groggily replied as I tried to sit up, which was a war in itself as my whole fucking body protested against me, "Oh, fuck me, it hurts so much."

"The medicine must have worn off." Another, softer voice conveyed from somewhere far away, "Tell me, Miyasha-chan, how are you feeling right now?"

"Pain." I simply replied before groaning as my head suddenly gave a particularly painful ache, "And misery. It's like my whole bloody body is punishing me for not dying yet!" I could feel a strange tense atmosphere build in as I said that, making me feel confused and yet uncaring at the same time.

As my headache increased, I gingerly reached over to my forehead to massage it; feeling the strange cloth? (bandage?) wrapped over my eyes.

'That's why I can't open them.' I thought before all the events slowly caught up to me—

"Tanjiro!" I yelled out in panic as the several scenes flashed in front of my eyes, "Zenistu! Ino—"

"Hey, hey, calm down, Miyasha—" A large hand settled down on my shoulder, trying to soothe me down but to no avail.

"A-Are they okay?!" I all but screamed as panic rose in my chest, "And Rengoku? And all the passengers in the—"

"They are all fine!" The voices reassured me as a hand rubbed my back, "No one died!"

"R-Rengoku too?" I absent-mindedly asked as I leaned onto the touch, feeling the knot in my lower stomach unravel as the voices confirmed it.

"They are all fine. Rengoku-san is a bit beaten up, and everyone is good and recovering, alright? Please don't panic."

"Oh, okay. Okay." I nodded as I leaned back onto the bed after taking the medicines given to me, "And my... And my eyes?"

"We'll talk about them later; please just rest now." The voices soothed me as someone caressed my head, making my body relax and calm as I slowly fell into a dreamless sleep.

'Was I even awake? Or was this another cruel dream?'

So, Rengoku is alive!
And well, there's a lot to it too, so don't just heave a sigh and be happy, lol. I have a lot planned for that ball of sunshine— however, I don't know how many of you are gonna like it. Oh well.

Anyhoo~ the next chapter is gonna be from someone else's POV! Guess who it is gonna be—

Hopefully, I can do them justice though, lol. I have a lot many stuff left for this arc, so wish me luck!

Now, onto the review replies

MehScrewIt: You have no idea how accurate you are with the guilt part, lol. On a serious note tho, I really hope you like this chapter! I'm lowkey nervous with this now, lol

Guest 1: I'm really glad you liked the chapter!

Guest 2: I really hope you like this chapter as well and thank you for your review!

Kayumeee: Okay, your review actually confused me? Like, I know that the terms of endearment Miyasha uses can seem a bit off to everyone, but they are not on grandmother-level...? I mean, the first time I heard anyone use them was someone of my own age; who essentially made me so used to them that I myself started using them, lol. Regardless! I may not understand the age part but yes, I do agree that it may sound odd if she uses that for anyone older than herself, like Rengoku! But, she didn't? I think I know where you got confused— at the fan part, yes? During that time, Rengoku was surprised (And thus, essentially silent) while Tanjiro asked Miyasha to show them her sword. Miyasha then addressed and teased Tanjiro for being so precious! The dearie there was strictly directed to him, not to Rengoku! I'm sorry for the confusion though! I genuinely thought it'll be clear with her speaking mannerisms at this point since she never addressed any person of her age (or older) by any terms of endearment, lol. And as for how you may view them, consider this— in almost any Asiatic country, physical affection is very rarely shown in public and thus, words are used more often! So, Miyasha uses these terms of endearment to help show her love and affection for others— especially the younger ones! It may seem motherly, but she's only doing so because she can't just outright hug or pat them at all times! Also— just to add! Miyasha is not flirting with Rengoku xD Her mind is too occupied for all that, lol

Einklley: Long time no see, dearie! I really hope you're doing well and thank you so much for your review! And I'm glad to hear Rengoku falling on her chest is slowly becoming everyone's fav scene, lol

Guest 3: Thank you so much and I really hope you enjoy this chapter as well!

Pingissa: Haha, I'm glad you think so! I as well hate reborn OC fanfics and that is one of the main reasons I started writing this in the first place xD I hope this chapter stands up to your expectations and thank you so much for giving this fanfic a chance!

And that'll be all for this chapter! Thank you so much for your kind reviews and please review this one as well if you want to— I love reading from you guys, and honestly, it motivates me like no other ^^

Stay safe and stay healthy!
