After they left Chris sat down. He knew he shouldn't let Barbas' words get to him. But knowing it was an Elder and his family would fight against him every step of the way. Plus his impending death, through not being conceived or something else was a bit of an overload. Just then Melinda and P.J. showed up. Melinda ran over to him.
"Chris what's wrong? Are you okay?" Melinda asked, putting her arms around his shoulders pulling him close. Now both girls knew something was wrong as Chris allowed it to happen without protest.
"I'm fine." Chris said, seeming to lean into Melinda.
Now they knew why Wyatt had called. Although Chris had warmed up to them and seemed to accept them it was the first time they'd seen him look so vulnerable. Melinda was happy now that they hadn't gone to bed like she had initially wanted after a brief talking session that turned into a long talking session.
"What happened Chris? Tell us." P.J said as she beamed to his other side and sat next to him.
Chris sighed and started to tell the whole story of Richerkvin, the pipe and Barbas.

Wyatt and Leo arrive in the attic where the Charmed Ones are waiting.
"Where have you been? Did you not hear me calling you?" Piper demanded.
"Yes mom I heard you. Chris and I were busy."
"Wyatt, we really think that Chris is a bad influence on you." Leo said.
"Yes, we're going to set up a bed in the baby's room and you're going to start staying there. Then we're going to talk this out and find a way to send all four of you home."
"No." Wyatt said calmly but firmly. "You're afraid Chris is right. You failed me. You failed to protect me and I turned evil."
"No, Wyatt we know that's not true. We can tell by looking at you that's not true." Paige claimed.
"What you see is a person from an alternate timeline. One that was already saved. Dad, are you going to deny that it's impossible for two timelines to merge?"
"Well go on Leo, tell him." Piper demanded.
"I'm afraid I can't do that Piper. He's right two different timelines like this can merge together."
"I can attest to there being at least two different realities. I mean I ended up in one that time I sneezed and came back to a different reality thanks to Cole." Paige volunteered.
"Is this the only reason you called me?" Wyatt asked, although he was curious about Paige's story as he'd never heard it.
"No, I wanted you to ask you to see if you could somehow talk to your younger self and find out why he's so antisocial. I'm worried about you, him, you know what I mean. I'm worried about you being an only child, I want you to have friends."
"Piper I already told you, you shouldn't have bothered him. He'll be fine. You can see that." Phoebe said.
"Aunt Phoebe is right mom, you don't have to worry. I'll have plenty of family and friends. I won't be lonely."
"But your…"
Before anything else could be said they heard someone yelling, "Hello anyone home?" then a scream and something falling. They all ran down stairs and found a talking head.

Back on the bridge Chris was sitting up and seemed to have more or less pulled himself together.
"Wy is right Chris, don't believe what Barbas said for one moment." Melinda said.
"He's not a seer Chris he doesn't know the future. He only reflected your own fears back at you." P.J. said.
"I bet he didn't mention what happened to us? He can't know that the three of us won't leave you. We don't know why my spell brought us here. But we won't let you down. I promise Chris. We'll find and stop who did this."
"Also you will be conceived. Even if it takes me casting a love spell or working through getting my Cupid powers to work I'll make sure you're conceived." P.J. said. "I know you have trouble seeing me beyond that thing in your world. But if you can learn to trust Wy, then try to learn to trust me."
"Okay. I'll try."
P.J. smiled, she couldn't ask Chris to instantly trust her. Especially after what her future self did. She still had trouble wrapping her head around the fact that she could do that. But she was willing to try anything to prove to Chris she wasn't that monster. "Also don't believe him about not being wanted. Your father and this one both may not let you believe when we tell you that you and your father are really close and best of friends."
"She's right Chris. You and dad are really close. You rarely keep secrets from each other. Even though you and mom bonded over cooking you were still daddy's little boy. He tried not to say or do anything to make it seem like he was playing favorites but we always knew that for whatever the reason you were his favorite." Melinda said.
Chris wasn't so sure about believing that. He knew his father never had any love for him and found it hard to believe P.J. and Melinda's claim of being best friends with him in their world. He also knew his mother had loved him. But now he's wondering if she had had Melinda would she have neglected him for her like his father did in favor of Wyatt?

Back in the manor they ran down the stairs to find a talking disembodied head.
"Hey guys you need to see this." Wyatt called out to the others as Piper moved a vase and Phoebe set the head in its place as Chris and the girls showed up.
Leo looks at the head, "Sigmund?"
"So someone else found him creepy and annoying and went for his head." P.J. said as her and Melinda tried to stay out of his line of sight.
Melinda shot her a look, "Ladybug that's not nice. He might have been a weasel but I don't think he deserves to have his head cut off."
Sigmund had explained the headless horseman while Leo explained about Gideon and his role in magic school.
"A headless horseman, this is so cool. Why didn't we ever hear about this story?" Wyatt asked.
"You would think that after reading the book and watching the movies they would have told us about this." Chris said.
"Wait there's a book?" Wyatt asked.
Chris rolled his eyes, "Yes, Wy there's a book. It came first."
Wyatt smiled, the more Chris called him Wy the closer he felt they were becoming.
"Aunt Piper must have wanted to forget everything as mom told us about this story after we saw the cartoon movie. Although I vaguely remember her mentioning a headless guy leading them to magic school. I never thought it'd be him. I wish I could remember more details or stories but to me they were just fun stories, I never thought remembering details or the stories would be important."
After more talk Leo agreed to take baby Wyatt to stay with Victor till they got back. As they waited Wyatt couldn't help but wonder why Sigmund looked familiar. He couldn't place him but he seemed familiar somehow.
Melinda fumed, "We are going to have to talk to mom after we get Chris convinced and we can talk to them about not telling us any stories of their past. This makes it twice now that Ladybug has heard stories of past adventures. But our parents only tell us if they have to or we ask. Last time I asked I was only told vague details."
"I'm sure Aunt Piper didn't do it to be mean. You know how overprotective she is of you and Chris. Plus with both P3 and Halliwell's she doesn't have a ton of free time."
"Yeah, I know. Hey Chris, should Ladybug and I stay here? After all we don't want Gideon to connect us to our parents just yet. We haven't told him anything. He's never actually asked who our parents are."
"We didn't know if he had any connection to the Elders so we kept our answers simple." P.J. said.
"Actually he is an Elder. He was still head of magic school till Wyatt killed him while he was trying to protect the school. But Wyatt let the demons destroy it. Aunt Paige helped rebuild it while they hid out there."
The girls were surprised, "Really? It's strange we've never heard of him before." P.J. said.
"Who runs it in your world?" Chris asked confused as to why after centuries of running magic school Gideon would give it up.
"Dad does and Aunt Paige is a teacher." Melinda said.
"Strange, I wonder if this ties into why Leo gave up his powers? I guess we'll find out. You girls go back to researching."
"Actually we will after we take care of some business." P.J. said.
"What are you doing?" Wyatt asked, finally tuning in on the conversation.
"We want to get rid of mom's boyfriend. Then maybe she'll make up with dad. At least long enough to conceive Chris." Melinda said.
Chris sighed, "Just don't spend all day doing it and be careful." He didn't really think it would work but wasn't going to destroy their hope and possibly his on getting conceived. Besides it gave them something to do besides studying nonstop.
Melinda and P.J. we're happy that Chris didn't shut their plans down. That he encouraged them to go.
