To be frank, I should have done this back in December.
I could already guess it would be a while until I would have enough content in the manga to continue writing again, but I wanted to start the next short story collection to be ready. However, many factors halted my writing process. Funnily enough, Texas freezing over was the spark that eventually got me out of my hole and writing consistently again. Finally, I have the first chapter of the MashMomo side story collection done and the next chapter of the Iichako one having made decent progress.
As the canon continues forward, I'll be focusing on these side stories until I have enough to work with for new Cubicity content. I already have a good plan on what to do for Chapter 44 and maybe even 45, but I still need some essential information in the manga before committing to writing beyond a detailed outline. So expect monthly chapters for the Iichako and MashMomo, swapping each month, until then. Once Cubicity writing resumes, expect another update here explaining as such. Whenever I publish another chapter, I won't halt the current side story and release them together.
Commission-wise was pretty light this holiday. I had an MHA x Persona 4 piece done as IzuMina by anush_arts. My first OT3 commission done as a secret Santa gift for eternal-love-song done by meatiors on Twitter, featuring Kanji, Rise, and Naoto from Persona 4. And finally, another IdaCamie birthday gift for Chumunga64, done by erijaime. I don't have any more commission plans until this summer.
Editing-wise, Night Foilage finished editing chapters 33 & 34, which had 16 and 51 edits, respectively.
So sorry for the late update, and I hope the side stories provide something for you all for the time being. If that doesn't interest you, I hope to deliver the next chapter of Cubicity as quickly as the manga allows!
