I got this idea from a scene in the first book when Draco said his mother was off looking at wands. I'm thinking I might start tailoring some of my non-romantic drabbles to little things in the books that were either oversights or make no sense. It'd add some nice humor in my opinion. Enjoy the drabble!
Harry and Narcissa Malfoy were inside Ollivander's. Harry had already gotten his magic wand for Hogwarts, and Narcissa was supposedly about to get Draco his.
After Harry had paid for his wand, he turned to Narcissa.
"If it's okay of me to ask, how is Draco going to get the right wand for him if he isn't even here for it? Given what I went through, I would think that he'd need to be here for this, no?" he questioned.
"He's right you know," Mr. Ollivander agreed. "A wand cannot choose its wizard if said wizard isn't here."
