INT-MUSHROOM KINGDOM-THRONE ROOM-EVENING
(Naruto and Sakura stand their ground against Kitana's guards surrounding them.)
Drake: (Irritated) Guys, STOP, this isn't gonna solve anything!
Sakura: Tell them that!
Drake: (Indignant) I am!
(Before a fight can ensue, Captain Falcon springs into action by flipping in the air and lands by the group.)
(Luigi also joins in by jumping over the guards and lands next to Falcon with a little bit staggering in the process.)
(Samus stays where she is near the double doors, having no intention of interfering.)
Samus: ...
(Cut to Falcon.)
Falcon: Cease this nonsense at once!
Falcon: Are we not all fighting for the same cause, or do we just want pointless bloodshed?
Falcon: Personally, I would argue the former.
(Having seen and heard enough, Peach finally stands up and musters the courage to speak her mind.)
Peach: Wisely spoken, Captain…
Peach: Kitana, in case you forgot, this MY castle, and I will NOT stand for such violent actions against my friend.
Peach: Tell your guards to stand down and we will find a less violent way to resolve this.
(The throne room suddenly goes quiet.)
(The two princesses stare each other down, with Kitana showing off a murderous glare whereas Peach shows off a demanding and less intimidating glare, which is mainly the result of having such an innocent-looking character design.)
Kitana: Very well, but only because I agree that we can settle this differently.
(Kitana puts up her hand, signaling her guards to stand down.)
Peach: Tails, you've all had a rough day, so please stay for the gala tonight.
Tails: (Nervous) Well, I don't know-
Drake: Of course, of course!
Drake: I happen one of the participants entering the race tomorrow, so it would be an honor.
Jade: …!
Peach: Splendid, I'll have my guards guide you to your chambers.
(The guards follow the gang out of the room, but before they leave, Naruto takes one more glance at Kitana before fully exiting the room.)
(Peach sighs, relieved that such a tense conflict didn't escalate any further.)
(Peach then sits back her throne chair and looks at Kitana, who stands up, preparing to take her to leave.)
Peach: Kitana?
Kitana: We can discuss this matter another time, I must clear my mind.
Kitana: You surprised me, I figured you would remain silent until the end.
(As Kitana and Jade leave, we cut to Peach looking mildly flattered, yet offended soon after.)
(One of the guards walks up to Peach.)
Guard 22: Princess, a word from the Forensic Center; Wario's body was not found in the wreckage.
Guard: Somehow, he survived.
(Peach lets out a surprised gasp.)
Peach: (Confused) We have those?
Guard: Yes…we've had it for quite some time now.
Peach: Hmph, interesting…
Peach: Search kingdom and bring him back here alive.
Elsewhere…
EXT-MUSHROOM KINGDOM-DARK ALLEY-EVENING
6:27 PM
Peach: (Voice over) We need to know if he's in some way connected with Eggman.
(Cut to Wario hiding out near a pile of trashcans to keep a low profile from a group of knights on the hunt for him.)
(Angry over his plans being ruined, Wario thinks of ways he can get back at Drake and co.)
(Wario gets and decides to hide somewhere else, but bumps into a dark figure, knocking him to the ground.)
Wario: DAH!
(Wario then looks up in shock as to who he's meeting, but we can only see the back of the dark figure.)
Guard2: I think I heard something over here!
(A group of 5 guards walk in the alley and spot Wario.)
Guard3: It's him!
*SWISH*
*SLASH*
*SLICE*
(Without warning, all 5 guards get sliced up by several fast cuts at near blinding speed as they all literally drop dead.)
(Wario is even more shocked with his jaw almost dropping to the ground.)
(The dark figure sheaths his long katana.)
?: You've sloppy today, Wario, I've been sent to assist…
(The dark figure walks away and opens a portal the size of a door.)
?: Come, we have a party to attend.
