Chapter 44 The Coronation
"THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN ZAHEER ESCAPED!" Will yelled at the guards who flinched. "You idiots had one job and your just as pathetic as the White Lotus!" Will yelled pissed off.
"We don't know what happened. When the alarms went off we rushed in but found a huge hole in the wall behind him leading outside."
"And thats not the only thing. The chains that were used to hold him down...They rusted."
"Rusted?" Adler asked before they were presented to them.
"The hell?" Hudson asked inspecting them.
"Since when does this metal rust at all?" Mason asked.
"Yeah." Woods said thinking the same thing.
"This kind isn't supposed to. Sean made this from a rare synthetic compound thats impossible to rust. The only thing that could have this kind of effect is magic. But it would have to be ancient magic since I've never seen it this effective." Adler said.
"Thinking someone wants him to continue his work?" Hudson asked.
"Maybe. There are a lot of people who want the Avatars gone so they can do whatever they want." Adler said.
"But not many of those people know how to use magic. Most are just low level thugs." Will said.
"This ain't good. By the time we took Zaheer down the first time it was already too late." Hudson said.
"Thinking we should let Korra know and bring her here? Theres a lot more security here than usual since every Avatar is currently here. Safest place she and her kids could be." Adler said.
"No. She's been through enough as it is. And I doubt he would be after her. He's shown nothing but regret for what happened 3 years ago. Attacking her would be pointless." Hudson said.
"I still think we should bring her here." Will said.
"Only if we know more about his intentions. Right now let's focus on finding him." Hudson said.
"With pleasure." Woods said heading out.
"I'm gonna bring in the rest of the Task force here. Better to be prepared." Will said.
"I don't disagree but keep it quiet. We don't want to cause a panic." Hudson said.
"Got it." Will said leaving.
"Something is going on. Zaheer has been quiet these last three years. Something has made him become active again." Adler said.
"Yeah." Hudson said not liking it.
Meanwhile
"Zaheer escaped?" Tenzin asked Will in shock.
"Yeah. We don't know how though. The chains that held him in place completely rusted apart." Will said.
"That sounds like ancient magic." Tenzin said rubbing his beard. "Have you told Korra?" Tenzin asked.
"No. We don't know what he's planning yet so for now we'll play this safe." Will said before an alert came up.
Zaheer arrived at Sean's grave before seeing the large statue of himself holding the Star Saber stabbed to the ground.
"Hmm." Zaheer said before he went inside. "Why do I need to bring the body first?" Zaheer asked.
"If you went to the South pole first the process for the Primordial of Life would be incomplete. For you see not only is the Primordial of Life regenerating...But also evolving further which will make it even more powerful. By the time you deliver the body to the temple...The Primordial of Life will fully evolve to a new and more powerful form."
"Draco Kruger set up a contingency to also evolve the Primordials?" Zaheer asked.
"Indeed. His knowledge of the ancient magic went beyond what you know. The power of the first generation dwarfs all modern magic. In time however it shall return."
Zaheer quickly airbeds Sean's coffin open before approaching his body seeing his body decomposing making him sigh before picking him up.
"Drop the body!"
Zaheer turned seeing several members of Atlas aiming at him.
Thats however when Time suddenly froze.
"Huh?" Zaheer asked.
"The ability to stop time is something only a small few can achieve. Something I long since learned many years ago during the first generation."
"How old are you?" Zaheer asked.
"That is a story for another time. I can only freeze time for a short while. I suggest you leave now."
Zaheer nods before flying away from the temple before he was far away enough before time resumed.
"What the?"
"We have to report this to the Captain."
Later
"He took his body? Are you fucking kidding me?" Will asked in disbelief.
"No sir. It was...Weird. One second he was standing right in front of us and then the next he just disappeared. It was like time stopped."
"This shows someone is helping Zaheer." Tenzin said.
"But why? What do they gain out of taking my brother's corpse? It makes no sense." Will said.
"I don't know. But we need to tell Korra about this. Theres a chance he may come for her and her children." Tenzin said making him nod.
"Get the others. I'm gonna tell Hudson what happened." Will said leaving.
Meanwhile
Korra sat in on her couch with her children watching a movie before Diana yawned as she laid on a pillow making Korra smile softly.
Thats when someone knocked on the front door making her blink before she got up to answer it.
When she did she was surprised seeing Tenzin and the others.
"Hello Korra." Tenzin said.
"Guys? What are...How did you..." Korra tried to ask.
"Your father told us the truth when he arrived in Republic City." Tenzin said making her sigh before letting them in
Korra was getting them all a drink.
"I'm really sorry I never told any of you the Truth. I just..." Korra tried to say.
"It's all right Korra. We all understand. With a loss like yours it's no surprise you simply wished to be left in peace." Tenzin said making her smile lightly.
"This is a nice home. A good place to raise the kids." Asami said before spotting Junior and Diana on the couch asleep. "Aw." Asami said making Korra giggle. "So this is Diana?" Asami asked looking at Korra's daughter. "She looks a lot like you." Asami said.
"Yeah. But she has Sean's eyes." Korra said as the two woke up before spotting the others.
"Do you remember us?" Asami asked making Junior nod before she picked him up. "The Last time I saw you, you had just begun to finally start talking and walking on your own." Asami said making Junior laugh.
Thats when Diana ran to her mother who picked her up before the others saw Diana had a Godzilla plush in her arms.
"Hey." Turok said making Korra giggle.
"She saw an old photo of Sean turning into this. It makes her feel safe so I had Irons find someone who could make a little toy out of it." Korra said before handing her to David.
"You know who I am sweetie? I'm your dad's brother which makes me your uncle." David said but she didn't say anything. "Whats wrong?" David asked.
"She...Doesn't talk. I think in some way she knows what happened to Sean and it had a negative effect on her." Korra said.
"Oh I see." David said understanding that.
"Anyway it's good to see you all again." Korra said smiling getting something to drink.
"Korra...This isn't a social visit." Tenzin said.
"Look if your hoping I'm gonna head back to Republic City I'm really not..." Korra tried to say as she got a mug.
"Zaheer has escaped." Tenzin said making her drop the mug making it shatter as she let out a shuddering breath as she trembled.
"It's ok Korra." Asami said holding her close.
"Mommy?" Junior asked as she picked him up.
"I'm...I'm ok." Korra said trying to calm down. "How?" Korra asked.
"We don't know. We assume he had help. The chains that held him...They just rusted apart and a hole appeared in his cell letting him escape." Turok said.
"And now you think he's after me?" Korra asked placing her son down.
"Well, we're not sure if he's in his right state of mind. He's shown nothing but regret for what he did once he learned the truth about the Primordials and the first generation. His actions cost him everything." Tenzin said.
"Tenzin we need to tell her." Asami said.
"Tell me what?" Korra asked.
"The reason we came here was because...Shortly after Zaheer escaped...He arrived at Sean's grave...And took his body." Tenzin said making her eyes widen before she walked to her wedding picture.
"So it's not enough he got him killed but he couldn't even let him Rest In Peace?" Korra sobbed before Asami held her as she cried.
"We're not sure why he did that. But the fact is we need to keep you and your children safe." Tenzin said.
"Korra...We know your still hurting after what happened. But we don't want to take chances incase he does come after you. Come back to Republic City where it's safe right now. Theres so much security there at the moment even he wouldn't dare to try anything." Asami said making her sniff before looking down seeing her son before picking him up.
"Ok...I'll get what I need. Junior go get your things." Korra said putting him down before he ran off.
"I know this is difficult Korra believe me I do. But we're thinking about your safety." Tenzin said.
"I know...I just really never wanted to go back. Everything bad thats ever happened to me was there. It's why I left." Korra said.
"We understand that. Once the corination is over we'll bring you right back here with extra security." Tenzin said holding her close.
Meanwhile
Zaheer air bended a wall down before walking inside before widening his eyes seeing the temple that was massive. (Picture it like the Temple Godzilla was at when he was recovering in King of the Monsters)
He flew to the top before placing Sean's body in the middle.
"Now all that remains is to release the Primordial of life in its evolved form."
"Why do you aid me?" Zaheer asked.
"As I told you. There is a great evil on the horizon."
"Thats not what I meant. Why are you helping me do this? After everything I did. All the suffering I brought because of my actions?" Zaheer questioned.
"Zaheer...All beings deserve a second chance in the universe. It is a concept Draco made a long time ago...Though like you he himself made a grave mistake that he regretted for a long time."
"And what Mistake is that? More importantly why did the Primordials choose the first generation as their hosts?" Zaheer asked.
"Thats a simple question to answer really. You see the fact of the matter is the first generation and the Primordials knew one another for a long time before they noticed they were dying. Draco offered them his solution to save them. Since he knew the Primordial of life so closely he could not bare to see her die so pointlessly. And yes they used their power to bring about peace...But that was the Will of the Primordials."
"And they passed that power down to their children and so on." Zaheer said.
"Indeed. And with every generation they would live even longer until this generation was born and became truly immortal like myself."
"You never told me who you are. Or what for that matter." Zaheer said.
"And as I said before that is not important."
"If you want me to continue to do as you ask I need to know more. How do I know you're not using me for your own gains?" Zaheer questioned.
"I assure you I am not. I will tell you who I am when your journey is complete. You have my word."
"Very well." Zaheer said before flying away leaving Sean's body behind.
Meanwhile
"Wow." Junior said seeing Republic City again after 3 years making Korra smile.
"We used to live here a long time ago." Korra said before they arrived outside the hotel where the coronation would be held.
"Korra." Tonraq said with her parents approaching her.
"Mom, Dad." Korra said as her mother hugged her.
"We all heard what Zaheer did I am so sorry." Senna said.
"I know. Thats why we're here. With all the security here it was the safest place to be." Korra said.
"Why would Zaheer take Sean's body?" Tonraq asked Tenzin.
"That we still don't know why but we believe he has someone helping him." Tenzin said.
"Hello, Republic City! Bolin is back!" Bolin yelled rushing in.
"Some things never change." Korra said making him look at her.
"Korra? You're finally back!" Bolin said pulling her into a hug in the air making her chuckle.
"Uh Bolin I'm happy to see you too but can you put me down?" Korra asked making him blink before doing so.
"Sorry. I got a little excited there." Bolin said.
"It's ok. It's good to see you and everyone again." Korra said.
"Never thought I'd be let back in Republic City four Elements." Varrick said making Korra blink.
"Why is he here?" Korra asked confused.
"Oh while you were gone Kuvira had Raiko give Varrick a full pardon." Asami said.
"I'm pretty sure Sean would have called this Raiko's dumbest mistake yet." Korra said.
"Well look at this little guy. I'd bet you'd be strong enough to help me with some inventions." Varrick said looking at Junior making Korra's eyes twitch.
"Varrick." Korra said in warning before Junior actually water bent Varrick face freezing it as he fell over making Korra widen her eyes before she burst into a fit of giggles. "Oh honey! Your father would really approve!" Korra laughed as did the others while Junior grins while Diana smiled lightly.
"I guess he takes after his mother." Turok laughed with Jinora.
"What are you doing here?" Raiko asked Korra approaching her.
"Oh great." Korra said keeping her kids close.
"I told you I never wanted to see you in my city ever again." Raiko said.
"She's here because Zaheer escaped and we need to keep her safe since we're not sure what he's gonna do since he already took Sean's body." Tenzin said.
"Oh I'm aware and I don't care since he can have both of them for all I care. I want you out." Raiko said making her glare.
"Thats not your call to make." Irons said behind him making him jump. "Need I remind you that you are on very thin ice. And once your presidency comes to an end you'll be facing charges. I don't need to remind you that you physically attacked my grandson 3 years ago and lost another arm and leg." Irons said making him glare.
"If she causes any trouble." Raiko tried to say.
"Beat it!" Reznov yelled kicking him away. "Moron." Reznov said as Raiko stomped off.
"Thanks." Korra said picking Diana up.
"Kruger would have just shot him after that last stunt years ago." Reznov said.
"Korra." Suyin said walking to her.
"Hey Suyin." Korra said hugging her.
"I'm so sorry about what Zaheer did when he got out." Suyin said.
"I know. I'm just here until the coronation is over then I head back home." Korra said.
"Mother." Baatar Junior said.
"Hello, Baatar Junior." Suyin said unhappy making Korra raise an eyebrow.
"It's just Baatar now. Good to see you again Korra." Baatar said.
"Likewise. It's been a long time." Korra said.
"So, now that you've seen all the good we've done since we left Zaofu, you must be sorry that you didn't come and help us." Baatar said.
"I don't know if I call marching all over the earth kingdom, forcing people to boy to Kuvira, doing good." Suyin said.
"You're going to have to get over your grudge with her. I'm sure you've heard that we're engaged." Baatar said.
"I'm just glad that she'll be stepping down after tomorrow." Suyin said.
"Excuse me my Lady." Wu said to Korra.
"Uh can I help you?" Korra asked a little creeped out
"Wu leave her alone." Tenzin said.
"So your the famous Avatar. I can't help but notice how lonely you are." Wu said flirting making her frown.
"Thats what happens when your husband is murdered. Beat it." Korra said.
"Now come on. I'm sure I can fill the void after all I am royalty." Wu said making her eyes twitch.
"You seriously preferred to be ruled by that idiot?" Baatar asked making Suyin sigh.
"Honestly no." Suyin said.
"Leave my mommy alone." Junior said before Wu pushed him away.
"Scram kid. The Avatar and I are making plans." Wu said. (Oh god. Typing his lines is just as annoying as hearing his voice)
"You just pushed my son down." Korra said annoyed picking him up who glared at Wu.
"Well, lets just drop him off at the orphanage and..." Wu tried to say before Korra punched him so hard he actually went flying into the wall shocking the others by such strength.
"What? I was training my butt off for three years when they were asleep." Korra said amused.
"I guess that makes sense." David said as Wu got up before looking at them before Korra glared at him making him yelp and run off in fear.
"If Sean were alive he would have burned him to ash." Korra said.
"Heh. I think he would use that battle spirit his grandfather gave him to do so." Reznov said.
"Yup." Fiore said.
"Anyway." Varrick said as he was freed before pulling some new invention out. "I call this the Battle Spirit finder. This will locate anyone with a battle spirit inside and determine how powerful they are." Varrick said.
"I'm not letting you use your little exploding bombs on my kids." Korra said glaring at him.
"Aw come on it'll be fine." Varrick said pointing at Junior as the device beeped rapidly. "Seems like he's got a powerful one inside." Varrick said before pressing a button before a hologram of a giant Ape appeared pounding his chest and roared.
"That thing is inside Junior?" Asami asked.
"I believe this one is called Kong." Tenzin said.
"Wow." Junior said in awe.
"Now lets see what the little lady has." Varrick said.
"Varrick." Korra tried to say before he pointed at her before the device started beeping like crazy.
"WHOA, WHOA!" Varrick yelled before it exploded shocking the others as Diana whined making Korra glare at Varrick.
"Look what you did you idiot!" Korra yelled kicking him away. "It's ok sweetie." Korra said calming her down.
"Clearly she has a very powerful one inside her." Tenzin said.
"Yeah. I just wonder what it is." Korra said holding her daughter close.
Meanwhile
Zaheer arrived at his destination.
"Now what am I looking for?" Zaheer asked.
"The Primordial has fully evolved and is beneath you in a sphere. However it is buried under the ice. You must uncover it."
Zaheer was quick to use his airbending sending the snow high into the air before a large white orb was seen.
"This is where the Primordial was for all these years?" Zaheer asked.
"Draco and the first generation created these spheres that would transfer the energy and souls of the Primordials into these spheres if they were ever killed or destroyed."
"If You knew all this to begin with why didn't you tell Korra and the others? More importantly why am I doing this? After all the pain I caused." Zaheer said.
"Zaheer...As I said all living beings deserve a second chance. It was a concept Draco originally never believed in for a time until...A certain incident had occurred many years after he became the first Avatar of Life."
"What incident was that?" Zaheer asked.
"One that made Draco doubt himself for many years is all I can tell you."
"You also said there was a great evil coming. If you can tell whats coming why didn't you warn Kruger when Amon and Cinder came or when Unalaq freed Miraak And Vaatu...Or what I was doing?" Zaheer questioned.
"Those events pale in comparison to what is coming. What is coming is far more dangerous than you can ever imagine. Now you must hurry. Time is short."
The orb slowly began to crack apart before a head burst through showing the head of a dragon with white scales and blue eyes. Thats when another burst through on the right side making Zaheer widen his eyes.
"Two?" Zaheer asked before another came out the middle and roared loudly before the orb fell apart showing all three heads were connected to one body and roared loudly into the air as Zaheer could feel the power coming off this new Primordial of Life. (BLUE EYES ULTIMATE DRAGON)
Thats when it glowed before turning into a smaller orb and flew to Zaheer's hands.
"Why is it in an orb again?" Zaheer asked.
"To preserve its power from being poisoned. Remember there are dark forces at play here and the Primordials are the only ones who threaten what is coming."
Zaheer then proceeded to fly away to head back to the temple to finally undo his mistake.
Arriving back a the temple he placed the orb down.
"Now what?"
"Now it is time to fix what happened. And in the process give him a gift his great grandfather would want him to have."
Suddenly the center of the temple began to glow before Sean's body and the orb began to float into the air.
"And what about me?" Zaheer asked.
"Your task is complete for now. Now as to who I am...I owe you that much. I am known as the Chronicler. I was the very first student of Draco Kruger and the entire first generation of Avatars." The Chronicler said shocking him. "I will tell you where to find me when the time is right. You must return back to your prison for a time as..." The Chronicler said before A bright light engulfed the room before a large boom was heard.
Meanwhile
Korra was about to get her kids in bed when the whole place shook.
"Whoa!" Korra yelled holding them close as the shaking stopped.
"What was that?" Junior asked.
"I have no idea." Korra said holding them close as her parents rushed in.
"Korra are you all right?" Tonraq asked.
"We're fine. What was that?" Korra asked.
"No idea. But the whole city shook from that." Senna said holding her granddaughter close.
Next morning
Wu was being crowned King of the Earth Kingdom and he was looking smug about it.
"I seriously hate this guy." Korra said.
"I can understand why." Reznov said.
"Can I please burn him?" Fiore asked.
"Sorry but no." Adler said making her growl annoyed.
Thats when Kuvira was about to make a speech.
Only for everyone to hear a loud clanging sound making everyone look around.
"The hell?" Soap asked.
"Wheres that coming from?" Kuvira asked.
"Me."
Everyone looked up seeing behind Kuvira and the other leaders of the four nations on top of the building was a man in his early 30's looking at them with hatred in his eyes. He had white skin black hair and dark green eyes.
"What the?" Hudson asked.
"It's been a long time old man. Bout 10 years."
"Do I know you?" Hudson asked.
"I once wanted to be exactly like you was my words as a kid."
This made Hudson widen his eyes taking his shades off.
"It can't be...Vlad?" Hudson asked making him look at him.
"So you remember my name. I'm surprised...Since you did nothing for me when I needed help the most." Vlad said.
"It wasn't like that." Hudson said.
"The hell it wasn't." Vlad said.
"Hudson...Who is he?" Korra asked holding her children close.
"His name is Vladimir Kruger...He's Cinder's son." Hudson said shocking them all.
"Yes...Look at me in hatred...I'm used to it by now." Vlad said before his eyes landed on Korra's kids who looked fearful as Korra placed them behind her.
"What do you want? A public apology?" Adler asked.
"Oh no. I've given up on that a long time ago. After all you guys never bothered to look for me after my mother's death to apologize so why bother?" Vlad asked.
"What the hell is he talking about?" Tonraq asked.
"Shortly after Cinder and her brothers killed the third generation...Word got out it was them and...A lot of the men...Took out a lot of anger out on him...And he was only 13 when it happened and it got worse over the years." Hudson said shocking them.
"Didn't you stop them?" Korra asked in shock.
"We tried...Norris kept pushing them to do it. After 10 years he just up and left having enough. We spent all that time looking for him." Adler said.
"To apologize or to put me down? I'm not surprised my little cousin never mentioned me. Here he was given the life of luxury and loved by all...While I was hated by everyone for something I didn't even do. Fair? I think not." Vlad said keeping his eyes on the children.
"What is you want?" Tenzin asked.
"To make you all suffer...Far worse than I did..." Vlad said.
"And how do you plan to do that?" Raiko asked.
"By killing them." Vlad said glaring at Korra's children making her gasp as she hid them behind her.
"Look I'm sorry about what happened to you but my kids had nothing to do with what happened." Korra said.
"No? Who's their father?" Vlad asked.
"This is about getting even with Sean since you blame him for what happened." Tenzin said.
"Bravo the son of the Avatar who played favorites with his children figures it out." Vlad said making him frown as Vlad jumped down.
"If you lay even a finger on my kids...I'll kill you." Korra said glaring at him.
"Oh...How are you gonna stop...THIS!" Vlad yelled as he was engulfed in a familiar light.
Appearing before them was a monster that roared loudly into the air shocking the crowd. (Picture Theinen the Great Sphinx from Yugioh the Movie)
Diana whimpered as she hid behind her mother who held her close.
"For 10 years I suffered for something I never even did! And no one lifted so much as a finger to help me. Not even my own cousin. So what better way to make him suffer in death than to kill his own children and watch his wife suffer with yet another loss!" Vlad yelled.
"Vlad this isn't gonna change anything!" Hudson yelled before David and Turok took on their Battle spirit forms and attacked him only to get blasted down so easily and turned human as they groaned in pain as Asami and Jinora rushed to them.
"Not even you weaker Avatars will stop me from..." Vlad tried to say before a familiar bellowing was heard.
Korra widened her eyes before looking out at the ocean as Vlad growled.
"Impossible." Vlad said before roaring loudly.
Only for a powerful and all too familiar roar to be heard back.
"It's can't be." Korra whispered.

Something jumped out of the water before landing right in front of Vlad and roared.
It was Sean's battle spirit Godzilla making everyone widen their eyes in shock.
Vlad roared in rage before throwing a punch out only for Godzilla to bite down on his arm before they fought one another crashing into buildings.
"I don't...No." Korra said in disbelief.
"Mommy?" Junior asked as she held him and Diana close as the later looked in awe.
Godzilla roared loudly at Vlad before smacking his tail into his face making him roar in rage.
"EVEN YOU CAN'T STAY DEAD! WHY IS IT ALWAYS YOU!" Vlad roared in rage before blasting him but he shrugged it off before the spikes on his back glowed and unleashed a stream of blue fire on him making him roar in pain as Godzilla pushed him into a building before bitting into his shoulder making him roar in pain.
"I don't understand. When a host of a battle spirit dies the spirit goes back to their world unless..." Tenzin tried to say.
"Unless what?" Tonraq asked.
"Unless the host was brought back from the dead. But...Thats impossible." Tenzin said.
Godzilla roared loudly before Vlad smacked him back.
"I'LL KILL YOU AND THOSE BRATS!" Vlad roared before Godzilla's body began to glow before taking on a new form.
This one had larger muscles and on the head was a Cobra glaring at Vlad in anger before his hands glowed. (Exodia the Forbiden one from Yugioh)
"NO!" Vlad yelled as this new Battle spirit blasted him with incredible power that rivaled Godzilla. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" Vlad roared as he exploded before turning human as he landed on the ground hard making him groan in pain before Godzilla appeared again growling at him.
Godzilla glared at him harshly before a building fell on top of him making him roar before Vlad escaped.
"THIS ISN'T OVER! NOT BY A LONG-SHOT! JUST YOU FUCKING WAIT!" Vlad yelled.

"NO!" Wu yelled seeing his hotel room with his stuff was destroyed.
"Calm down Wu." Tenzin said.
"NO! I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! I WANT THAT THING DEAD! NOW! NOW! NOW!" Wu yelled like a spoiled brat.
"Loser." Junior said.
"Honey." Korra said though smiling.
Wu growled before grabbing a drink about to throw it at Junior when Godzilla stood above them with his spikes glowing before breathing blue fire at Wu.
"AHHHHHHH!" Wu screamed as he was reduced to ash shocking everyone while Godzilla looked at them and growled loudly.
"Sean? Please calm down." Korra practically begged as he growled at all of them and roared before.
"Daddy!"
Korra widened her eyes looking at Diana who finally spoke.
"Honey." Korra said surprised before Godzilla looked closer at her seeing tears roll down Diana's eyes before his eyes softened as he stood up.
Only to start groaning as he fell to the right crashing a few buildings before his body glowed and vanished.
"You don't actually think?" Korra asked Tenzin.
"I don't know but...Wheres Diana?" Tenzin asked not seeing her making Korra widen her eyes.
"Diana? DIANA!" Korra screamed.
Diana ran into the rubble looking.
Thats when she heard a groan before a wall was pushed down before she came face to face...With her father who once more was alive and breathing.
Sean groaned as he held his face before looking at Diana and widened his eyes seeing her for the very first time in his life.
"Daddy!" Diana cried running to him as he crouched as he held her close as he let out shuddering breaths before holding her face as tears ran down her eyes.
"Whats your name sweetheart?" Sean asked.
"Diana." Diana said making him widen his eyes before chuckling.
"Your mother would give you that name of all things." Sean said as he held her close as she sobbed. "Shhh. It's ok honey. I'm not going anywhere." Sean said before Junior ran out.
"Daddy?" Junior asked making him look at his now four year old son.
"Come here buddy." Sean said as he ran to him and hugged him and cried. "Shhh. I got both of you. It's ok." Sean said.
Thats when Korra arrived looking for her children before she spotted their father holding them.
"Sean?" Korra asked hopeful as he looked at her before he stood up and walked to her before holding her face as tears began to build up.
"I'm here." Sean said making her break down sobbing as she held her husband for dear life as they fell to their knees.
"Please tell me this isn't a dream." Korra begged.
"I'm here Korra. I'm real." Sean said as she sobbed loudly before their children rushed to them and held them making her cry harder as she held her family that was now complete once more.
Later
Sean sat in a hospital bed as he was getting checked out.
Korra of course sat next to him while Diana laid on his chest as Junior laid on the side making him smile.
"I...I don't understand. How?" Korra asked.
"Zaheer." Sean said shocking her. "All I know is he did this. My memories...Are a blur. I don't even remember fighting Vlad or killing that...Punk whatever his name was." Sean said.
"Wu." Korra said.
"Whatever he got what he deserved since he was a spoiled brat." Sean said making her smile.
"And he pushed Junior down and tried to suggest putting him in an orphanage just so he could sleep with me." Korra said making him glare before she kissed him. "I'm glad you killed him even if it was most likely the battle spirit in you doing the work." Korra said making him nod.
"Yeah...I think my fighting days are...On hold for a while. I can barely use any of my abilities. They say coming back from the dead can have some...Negative reactions. In my case my will to fight. It's...Damaged." Sean said.
"I don't care. I'm just so happy your back after 3 years." Korra said making him smile before kissing her as Diana yawned.
"By the way. Diana? Really?" Sean asked making her giggle.
"Blame Achmed for bringing up your crush." Korra teased.
"It was not...GRRR! It was not a crush." Sean said making her laugh.
"I'm just teasing. Besides the name suits her." Korra said making him smile as he held his daughter close.
Thats when the others walked in.
"Coming back from the dead. Your father would be surprised." Irons said.
"Heh! I'll bet. Wheres Zaheer?" Sean asked.
"He turned himself back in. Just showed up at his prison and surrendered without resistance. The hell happened to him?" Adler asked.
"I think he had outside help. I...Remember a temple and...I think somehow he brought the Primordial of Life back and sealed it back inside me...I don't know how to explain it." Sean said shocking them.
"You mean that Dragon is back inside you?" Hudson asked as Sean's hands were engulfed in white fire.
"I would say so...Only...It feels a lot stronger than I remember...Something happened." Sean said.
"We'll question Zaheer." Adler said.
"Leave him." Sean said shocking them. "I get the feeling events are gonna play out that someone made him do this. For now leave him be...Focus on finding Vlad. He's too much of a risk letting him out in the world freely after that stunt." Sean said.
"I'll get right on it. You just rest up little bro." Will said making him chuckle as the Task Force left.
"Do you remember where the Temple was?" Tenzin asked.
"Uh...No. You can ask Zaheer since I'm sure he'll freely give it." Sean said before Kuvira and Baatar walked in. "I...Remember you...At the Metal clan." Sean said.
"Thats right. I was a captain back then in Suyin's forces. I was with you when you fought Zaheer and the Red Lotus." Kuvira said.
"Ah...I remember now." Sean said.
"It's good to see you again Kruger." Baatar said.
"Ah Baatar Junior." Sean said.
"It's just Baatar now." Baatar said.
"I see." Sean said.
"You did a service by removing that idiot from the throne before he could take it. He was just as bad as the Queen." Kuvira said.
"I don't doubt it." Sean said.
"I actually heard a lot of things from your supporters that you were cleaning up Zaheer's mess." Korra said.
"Thats right. Since Suyin didn't want to take the throne I had to step in." Kuvira said.
"Not everyone is suited for high leadership roles like that. It can make all that power go to your head and turn you into something or someone you don't like. Leading the Metal clan is easy since it's just a simple part of the Earth Kingdom." Sean said making her raise an eyebrow.
"I suppose thats a good point." Kuvira said.
"Anyway we were hoping that since your finally back that maybe you could help us fully unite the Earth Kingdom again. With you backing us it would..." Baatar tried to say.
"Sorry but no. My powers and abilities are shaky and my will to fight is damaged. The Battle spirit did most of the work when I came back. My fighting days are on hold...And I'd rather just spend time with my family after three years apart if you don't mind." Sean said.
"I can respect that. Still if you ever change your mind let us know." Kuvira said as they left.
"Oy." Sean said exhausted.
"Get some rest. You've earned it." Tenzin said as everyone but Korra and the children left.
"So what else happened while I was dead?" Sean asked.
"Well...I know your gonna love this by the way." Korra said making him raise an eyebrow. "The world disbanded the White Lotus."
"Oh for gods sakes finally!" Sean said pleased making her giggle.
"Thats the only thing I know for certain." Korra said.
"What do you mean by that?" Sean asked making her sigh.
"While you were dead...I moved away from home and lived in your mansion in the forest of Colorado. I just...Couldn't stand living here anymore." Korra said.
"I guess I can't blame you. Still feel that way or do you wanna move back?" Sean asked making her smile lightly.
"I think I can actually." Korra said before the doors opened up before Lizzie jumped up on Sean's bed and croaked before nuzzling his face making him laugh.
"Did you miss me girl?" Sean asked as she croaked making them laugh.
Later
Sean was being escorted out after getting fully checked out.
"When are we going home?" Junior asked making them smile.
"This is home buddy. We're moving back to Republic City. It's where we belong." Sean said.
"Yay." Junior said excited making the parents laugh as Sean had Diana on his shoulders.
"Trust me you'll love it here." Korra said.
"And just where do you two think you're going?" Raiko questioned with personal security with him.
"Oh no. He's still here?" Sean asked annoyed making Korra sigh. "What do you want now?" Sean asked.
"You are under arrest for the Murder of King Wu." Raiko said.
"I didn't do that. The Battle spirits inside me did. They were acting on pure instincts. And besides from what I hear no one else is really complaining." Sean said. (I meant to have him killed in my last story but I messed up. Oh well better to have him suffer not having his kingdom in one story and dead in another)
"I don't care. Both of you are under arrest and..." Raiko tried to say before Sean's metal claws came out.
"Choose your words and actions carefully Raiko...They may be your last." Sean said making him growl.
"This isn't over." Raiko said as he left.
"I thought you said you couldn't fight at the moment?" Korra asked.
"I did...But he doesn't know that." Sean said making her grin before kissing him.
"Lets go home." Korra said as they left.
Authors Note: And with that Sean is finally back in the land of the living and the idiot Prince Wu...Is dead! FINALLY! Now Next Chapter we return to the Metal clan to stop Kuvira from taking over.
