Chapter 45 A Purpose to Fight
It's been a month since Sean was brought back from the dead and since Vlad was defeated by his new battle spirit Exodia and since the idiot Prince Wu was killed.
Since then Sean had spent every day with his wife and kids who were happy to have him back after 3 years.
Of course Raiko kept trying to force them out of his city but Irons pretty much blocked all of his attempts and threatened him to leave his son alone or suffer death which enraged him.
Right now Sean was waking up before finding his wife buried into his chest making him smirk as he held her close.
"Morning." Korra said before kissing him as he kissed back as he held her head making her moan before she flipped them over so she was on top of him making him grin.
"Someone is very aggressive this morning." Sean said.
"Hey you were dead for three years. I got that much pent up sexual needs to satisfy." Korra said making him chuckle before he pulled her into a kiss making her moan before she lined herself up before thrusting down making her moan as she slowly bounced on him.
Thats when she yelped as he had her pinned on her back making her grin at him as she wrapped her legs around his waist as he started thrusting into her making her moan softly as she held his face.
"I missed this so much." Korra said kissing him as she wrapped her arms around his neck as he continued to thrust into her.
After a long while she felt him start twitching inside her before feeling her own climax before she sighed in bliss as she came hard before she felt him come inside her making her grin at him as she kissed him.
"I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too. And I promise you will never lose me again." Sean said making her smile as she buried her face into his chest before he held her hair.
"What?" Korra asked.
"I liked you better with longer hair." Sean said making her laugh as she smacked his chest.
"I can grow it back later after Raiko is kicked out of office." Korra said making him grin as he kissed her neck.
Soon they got up and got the kids up.
"Mommy is making waffles." Junior said to Sean making him grin as he pulled up a holographic screen.
"Really?" Sean asked looking at his wife. "What do you think the chances of getting a scoop of Ice cream on top are?" Sean asked.
"SEAN!" Korra yelled pointing a wooden spoon at him. "Don't you even dare start him on that!" Korra said making him laugh.
"Sorry buddy I tried." Sean said making him laugh. "Wheres your sister?" Sean asked.
"Over there." Junior said pointing at the couch seeing her lay down with Naga watching TV.
"Hmm." Sean said before looking at the screen.
"What are you doing?" Korra asked giving Junior his food.
"Looking into Kuvira's activities. I think we might have a problem." Sean said.
"What is it?" Korra asked.
"Kuvira might be ending the chaos sure. But she's acting no different than the queen. She's forcing settlements to work for her and strip mining places rich with ore and coal." Sean said.
"And...Her army?" Korra asked concerned.
"If I had to guess all that power has gone to their heads." Sean said making her frown. (Theres a reason I'm making them more willing to be in her army)
"You don't think she would invade her home do you?" Korra asked.
"Honestly I think she would. Kuvira seems to have some grudge against Suyin for not taking the Queen's place. I know she made the right choice. After all look what happened to the queen and that punk Wu. They let all that power think they could do what they wanted. She wanted to conquer the world...He wanted fame and everyone to do as he pleased. Like when he tried to get you to sleep with him." Sean said making her glare at that reminder.
"I don't need a reminder about that." Korra said annoyed making him chuckle.
"Just making a fact. I'm thinking she's gonna invade the metal clan." Sean said.
Later
"You think Kuvira plans to attack Zaofu?" Tenzin asked as they were in Raiko's office.
"It's possible. I mean if she wants to have complete control of the Earth Kingdom she would also try to conquer her home." Sean said.
"That is a troubling thought." Raiko admitted.
"The Task force right now is looking for Vlad." Sean said.
"Then call them back and have them deal with this." Raiko said.
"No. You don't understand or rather just don't care. Vlad in his current state of mind is more dangerous than 10 Kuviras." Sean said.
"Add to the fact his battle spirit is very powerful." Tenzin said.
"Thats to be expected. Only those who are the bloodline of the Avatars of old can have a Battle spirit and they choose a host at Birth." Sean said.
"And you're the reason he's lost his mind." Raiko said.
"I didn't do anything. Norris pushed the men into doing what they did to him. Even in death he's still a pain in the ass." Sean said.
"Regardless we need to stop Kuvira before she does take over her home." Tenzin said.
"Which is why Korra and I are gonna head out to see if we can stop her." Sean said.
"Sean, you're still recovering from coming back from the dead. Your powers and fighting spirit are still fragile." Tenzin said.
"I'm just gonna try and talk to Kuvira. If worse comes to shove Korra can handle it. She's improved a lot over the last three years." Sean said making her grin at the praise.
"Can you watch the kids while we're gone?" Korra asked.
"Of course." Tenzin said as Raiko frowned.
Soon Sean and Korra along with Tenzin's kids were about to head out.
"You're leaving?" Junior asked his father who smiled.
"Only for a couple days at most. Don't worry we'll be back soon." Sean said ruffling his hair making him laugh before Sean went to Diana.
"Please don't go." Diana asked.
"Honey...Your mother and I need to leave to help an old friend who might be in trouble. I promise we'll be back in a couple days. For now you'll be staying with Tenzin and Pemma until we get back. I want you to behave for them ok?" Sean asked.
"Ok." Diana said before Sean kissed her forehead.
"I love you sweetheart. We'll be back soon." Sean said as they got on Pepper before taking off.
"Everything is gonna be fine." Korra said.
"I know." Sean said as they flew off. "By the way Jinora I just now noticed nice Airbending Tattoos." Sean said making her grin.
"Yeah I got them shortly after you were killed. Turok really loves them." Jinora said thinking of her boyfriend.
"Just on the forehead or all over?" Sean asked making her blush like crazy making him and Korra burst out laughing while she growled.
"I hate you so much right now." Jinora said.
"Whats that mean? All over?" Meelo asked making Ikki snicker while Jinora growled annoyed.
"We'll tell you when you're older." Sean said laughing.
Later
"So when we get there what exactly are you gonna do?" Jinora asked.
"He's gonna beat her up and smash her!" Meelo yelled stomping his foot making Sean roll his eyes while Korra giggled.
"I'm still in no condition to fight Meelo. My powers are...Shaky right now. And my fighting spirit is damaged. Coming back from the dead can have negative consequences." Sean said making him blink.
"Your not gonna turn into a zombie and eat our brains are you?" Meelo asked making his eyes twitch while Korra snickered.
"I knew I never should have let you play those Zombie games." Sean said.
"Look Kuvira did save my dad so killing her is not the first option and I'm not doing that. Thats more of his thing since he's military and has been killing bad guys for years. Me...Uh no." Korra said.
"Some people have the will to kill and others don't." Sean said.
"I see it...Oh crude." Ikki said seeing Kuvira's army right outside the city.
"I was right. Let's hope we're not too late." Sean said.
The group made it into Suyin's office seeing her family along with Opal.
"Sean, Korra? What are you both doing here?" Suyin asked surprised.
"We had a feeling Kuvira was coming here so we came here to help." Sean said.
"She wants to take over the city for her own personal reasons." Suyin said.
"We won't let that happen." Korra said.
Meanwhile
Varrick was on Kuvira's train in his lab with a film recorder.
"Zhu-Li, is this thing on?" Varrick asked.
"We're rolling, sir." Zhu-Li said.
"Okay, I'm Varrick of Varrick industries international, and this is spirit vine experiment 3-02 of which we retrieved from Republic City without Raiko's knowledge. Hand me the thing." Varrick said getting her to hand him one of the spirit vines in a capsule before putting it into a machine.
"In this stasis Capsule is a preserved spirit vine sample weighing approximately two Zhu-Lis." Varrick said before turning on the machine. I have postulated that these spirit vines are a form of pure energy that's unstable in what we call typical earth conditions." Varrick said as the capsule glowed purple. "This machine should transfer the energy from the vine into a battery using electrical currents, reverse magnetic polarity, and a little-known phenomenon I call the Varri-effect." Varrick said seeing the results.
"It's working. It's registering five Varricks of power...Now seven Varricks." Varrick said before things started to get out of control with way too much power.
"WHOA. What is this? Whats going on?" Varrick asked. (This is what I mean! How has he not blown himself up!)
Thats when Purple lightning shot out at them making them scream.
"Zhu-Li shut it down! There are too many Varricks." Varrick said before a beam of pure energy shot out at the back of the train hitting the mountain.
Inside Suyin's office the whole place shook.
"Whoa! Where did that come from?" Sean asked.
"That was no earthquake thats for sure." Suyin said.
"Whatever it was I'm sure It's Varrick's fault." Sean said.
Inside the train Zhu-li was on top of Varrick before she saw their position and chuckled sheepishly.
"Sorry." Zhu-Li said before Kuvira and Baatar rushed in.
"What in the hell did you do now?" Kuvira asked.
"I have no idea. I was trying to extract the energy from the spirit vines but than this happened. But don't worry. I'm putting the Kibosh on this project." Varrick said shutting the capsules down.
"No, your not. Do you realize what we can do with this kind of power?" Kuvira asked.
"Yes, I do. And thats why we've got to put an end to it. What if it fell into the wrong hands? Like Vlad? Remember what he tried to do to Kruger's kids." Varrick said making her raise an eyebrow at that.
"Ok On that I can't deny but this could also be used against him in that battle spirit form. Kruger is recovering right now and the Other Avatars were nowhere near strong enough to take him down. If he comes back we'll need to use this." Kuvira said.
"No way. I just really got to stand my ground on this one. Thats what the voice in my head is telling me." Varrick said before the metal on his shoulders went to his neck lifting him up. "WHOA!"
"Now there's a voice in my head telling me to drop you from a really high and dangerous height. Should I listen?" Kuvira asked holding him up outside at a high height. (HAHAHA! I love seeing moments like this with Varrick in trouble)
"NO! NO! Head voices are liars. What do head voices know? I'll work on the project. Please don't drop me!" Varrick said before the threw him back inside.
"Good." Kuvira said.
Meanwhile
Asami was inside a prison with some unopened letters before someone was brought it.
It was her Father Hiroshi who had aged a lot in the last five years.
"Asami, you came." Hiroshi said sitting down.
"I'm here to return these." Asami said pushing them forward.
"You never opened them." Hiroshi said.
"Stop writing me. I'm trying moving forward with my life. I'm getting married in a couple months to Sean's brother David. And I don't you to be part of that life or my kids. Not after all the pain you caused me and everyone else. You worked for Cinder of all people who brutalized Sean TWICE and you mocked him for it. " Asami said glaring at him making him sigh.
"I know...And not a day goes by where I'm not haunted by my actions...If I knew who Cinder was I never would have worked for her or said those things to Kruger or worked for Amon...I was just so angry and I took it out on every bender in my sights." Hiroshi said.
"That doesn't make it any better. And at least she has an actual excuse since she was corrupted by black magic and you weren't" Asami said standing up.
"Please, Just let me say one thing, then I'll never contact you again." Hiroshi said making her sit back down. "I can't forgive myself for all the horrible things I did. The war I started and those who were greatly hurt by my weapons. And I don't expect you to forgive me. I tore our family apart and destroyed our good name. But in a life of regret, You're the one thing I look back on that makes me smile." Hiroshi said making her look down. "I just want you to know I'm so proud of you, Asami. You are the greatest thing I ever created." Hiroshi said as tears ran down her eyes before she left.
Meanwhile
Sean met with Suyin outside where she helped him and Korra metal bend 3 years ago.
"How did things get so bad between you and Kuvira? I thought she was your prized protege or something?" Sean said.
"She was more than that. She was like a daughter to me. I took her in when she was eight years old and nourished her talents. Kuvira was smart, a natural leader like you with your task force. She quickly rose through the ranks. I saw myself in her." Suyin said.
"So what happened you have some kind of falling out?" Sean asked.
"Not exactly the way your probably thinking. After you were killed because of Zaheer's actions Your father and Tenzin came to me. They suggested I be put in charge of the Earth Kingdom until a more trained and trustworthy leader was put in place. But I didn't want all that power going to my head like it did to Wu. Korra told you about her encounters with him shortly before you were brought back to life right?" Suyin asked making him scoff in disgust.
"You mean how he tried to flirt with her so she would sleep with him? Push down my son like he was garbage and said to put him in an orphanage? He was even worse than his aunt. I should have put him in the void." Sean said pissed off at him even when he was dead.
"Then you see my point. When I said no Kuvira decided to take action and took Varrick, Baatar and many others to stabilize Ba Sin Se. I knew she was gonna start becoming a dictator." Suyin said.
"I really want to help fix this." Sean said.
"You can. Demolish her army. With all your abilities..." Suyin tried to say.
"I can't" Sean said surprising her.
"Why not? Sean you took down Vladimir and..." Suyin tried to say before Sean's metal claws came out in each fist. On the right they were perfectly extended out. The other was uneven and shaking making her widen her eyes before they went back in. "Whats happening?" Suyin asked.
"My powers are compromised but it's to be expected. When you come from the dead after such a long time...It has a negative effect on you. I'm here to see if I can talk to Kuvira since she might at least listen to me...If not Korra will deal with them. As she is now she could have gone head to head with me as I was 3 years ago without my battle spirits involved." Sean said.
"What about that new one? Can't you use it?" Suyin asked.
"Exodia? My Great Grandfather's battle spirt that rivals Godzilla. No...I can't. When I fought Vlad last month they took control and did all that and killed Wu. I can't do anything at the moment." Sean said making her frown.
"So if talks with Kuvira fail you'll have Korra do what you can't." Suyin said.
"I'd rather not have her do what I should but at the moment theres nothing I can do but talk. Violence isn't always the first option." Sean said.
"We can only hope." Suyin said.
Sean walked back to his old room he stayed in three years ago before finding his wife already asleep making him smile before he removed his clothes and joined her before she turned and kissed him.
"You ok?" Korra asked.
"Yeah. Go to sleep." Sean said kissing her forehead as sleep claimed them both.
Meanwhile
Asami in the park where a statue of Korra was at she held her face before she looked ahead seeing a girl and her father playing a game before the later picked his daughter up making her smile.
"You ok?" David asked with Diana in his arms before sitting next to her.
"Yeah...I'm fine." Asami said.
"Asami I know when you're lying." David said making her sigh. "Whats wrong?" David asked.
"I went to see my father the other day. He's been writing me letters and I asked him to stop. After all the horrible things he did...How can I ever forgive him?" Asami asked.
"Asami. I'm not saying you should forgive him...But at the very least you should give him a second chance. He's all the family you have left and coming from one who's own family tore itself apart because of black magic...I would do anything to have my old family back and so would my brother. And Vlad never even got a chance. And look where he turned out because of that. He's turned into a monster because no one gave him a chance and took out their anger on him because of his mother." David said.
"You weren't there though. He created weapons of war and mocked Sean when he got brutalized a second time by Cinder and Malefor. People got seriously hurt because of him." Asami said.
"No I wasn't there. But I would still at least give him another chance. If you continue to cling to the past you'll never be able to move forward and he dies from old age you'll never forgive yourself. Trust me I know. I'm not saying forgive him. I'm just saying give him another chance." David said as Diana sat in Asami's lap making her smile as she held her close.
Meanwhile
Varrick was stuck in his lab like a rat and he was going crazy.
"I can't believe Kuvira locked me in here like a prisoner. I'm not feeling well. I think I'm running out of air. Zhu-Li Hold your breath." Varrick said.
"I'm not holding my breath." Zhu-Li said making some tea.
"Great! Now we're both gonna die." Varrick said.
"Varrick. Varrick."
"Augh, and the head voices are back!" Varrick panicked before Zhu-Li pointed up making him look up seeing Bolin coming out of a hatch. "Bolin, thank goodness you're here. Where did that Hatch come from? Forget the Hatch! There's something important I've got to tell ya." Varrick said.
"Well, there's something important I've got to tell you too." Bolin said jumping down before they both grabbed each other.
"Kuvira's Crazy!" They both yelled shocking each other they both said that perfectly together. (Sora how did you forget this?)
"How'd you find out?" Bolin asked.
"When I refused to build her a super weapon, she threatened my life." Varrick said.
"She threatened me too, and she's threatening Zaofu. And it turns out she's been threatening villages this whole time. We've got to get out of here." Bolin said.
Meanwhile
Kuvira was talking with her soldiers.
"Kuvira we have an important Guest." Baatar said getting her attention seeing Sean.
"Kruger, I didn't realize you were here." Kuvira said.
"I didn't come for a social visit. I came to talk and no not about that offer before you say anything." Sean said making her chuckle.
"I guess I should expect that." Kuvira said.
"I'm asking you to take your army and leave the Metal clan alone." Sean said.
"I'm afraid I can't do that. I'm on the verge of finally unifying my nation." Kuvira said.
"You can't seriously tell me you're ok with invading your home city." Sean said.
"It's nothing personal honestly. Zaofu is the last hold out." Kuvira said.
"But theres no reason to come here. The whole place is peaceful. Theres no crime or anything because of Suyin. The only bad thing about this place was Aiwei since he worked for Zaheer before he knew the truth about the Primordials." Sean said.
"I'm not gonna deny that at all being honest. However your father said that unity was the key to peace." Kuvira said.
"True but doing unity by force isn't what he meant. I won't deny you brought stability even if your tactics are...Extreme to a degree. But if Zaofu has managed to stay peaceful without intervention don't you think they proved they can handle themselves. Besides no offense but it makes you look like you're holding a grudge against Suyin for not taking the Queen's place." Sean said.
"This isn't about her. I still believe though that she should have taken over and brought order." Kuvira said.
"But she didn't want that power going to her head. You saw what it did to the Queen and her nephew Wu. The queen wanted to conquer the world using me and my son and the other believed he should get whatever he wanted when he wanted it including trying to sleep with my wife. She didn't want to become something she would later hate." Sean said making her look away.
"Ok thats a good point." Kuvira said.
"Look. You wouldn't be who you are today if it wasn't for Suyin who taught you everything you know. She took you in and raised you. Don't you think you owe her for everything you are today." Sean said making her raise an eyebrow.
"Well...When you put that way...I suppose I could hold off anything as I think this through." Suyin said.
"Thats all I ask." Sean said as he left.
Meanwhile
Asami once more was in the prison as her father came to her.
"You came back." Hiroshi said.
"I...Needed some time to think. At first I was never gonna see you again for all the pain you caused me and so many others." Asami said making him close his eyes. "But." Asami said making him look at her. "David...Convinced me to give you a second chance. If I hold onto the past and...When your gone he said I would never forgive myself...And he's right." Asami said.
"He sounds wise. Asami I know I've caused you nothing but pain since you learned the truth. Not a day goes by that I don't wish I could take it all back. You and all the others have every right to hate me for everything I did. Working for Cinder not knowing she killed the last generation of Avatars and scarred their children." Hiroshi said ashamed.
"Did you know she had a son?" Asami asked making him look at her.
"No...She never mentioned him." Hiroshi said.
"He tried to kill Sean's kids to get even with him since he blamed him for everything that happened to him for 10 years. People took their anger out on him for something he didn't even do. And it turned him into a monster worse than she could ever be." Asami said.
"I'm not surprised. People unfortunately take their anger out on the children of those who committed crimes like her. I'm no different. However...I don't think you can save him if thats what you're asking. Anyone who's willing to kill innocent children like that...Sometimes they're beyond hope. It's tragic yes." Hiroshi said making her nod.
"What do you think we should do?" Asami asked.
"The most humane thing I think you can do...Is put him down. Years of physical and emotional abuse...Sometimes you can't recover from that. I'm not saying this as someone who's carrying a grudge against Cinder. I think...She would agree with me in this as a human being to put him to rest since her corruption ended when she was killed." Hiroshi said making her sigh knowing he was right.
Later
"Well?" Korra asked her husband.
"I think I might have actually gotten through to her." Sean said making her smile before they walked to Baatar Senior.
"Have you seen Suyin? We have to talk to her." Korra said.
"She's not here. She took the boys to sneak into her camp and end this." Baatar Senior said shocking them.
"You gotta be kidding me! I just convinced Kuvira not to attack!" Sean said pissed off.
Meanwhile
Suyin and her sons were outside the base where Kuvira was before coming up a tree.
"Are you sure this will work? Even without Kuvira, they could still crush us." Wei said.
"No doubt most of this army has let all the power go to they're heads but if we take Kuvira out they'll be in disarray and turn on each other destroying themselves.." Suyin said.
They snuck into the base before finding a dome protected by armed guards in Mecha Suits.
Slamming her foot on the ground she sensed the vibrations ahead of her to see if she was inside which she was.
"She's in there alone." Suyin said before they used earthbending to tunnel in.
When they made it in they restrained her before taking the sheets off.
Only to see it wasn't her but Zhu-Li.
"Don't hurt me." Zhu-Li said.
"Zhu Li?" Suyin asked surprised before alarms went off and the dome came down before they were surrounded and Kuvira appeared.
"I knew you would try to pull something like this. You were afraid of me when I became a leader and now you're afraid of a fair fight." Kuvira said making her frown. "You know the Irony is I actually WAS gonna leave Zaofu alone after Kruger came to me. But now you forced my hand." Kuvira said.
"Why is Zhu Li here?" Suyin asked.
"Oh. She pledged her loyalty to me after Bolin and Varrick tried to escape and got caught. So now they'll be working on the weapons project I had Varrick start." Kuvira said before he forces knocked them out.
Meanwhile
"Sean, you and Korra have to stop Suyin before she does something terrible." Jinora said.
"The fuck am I Supposed to do? I can't fight right now and my powers are compromised. How many times I gotta fucking say it?" Sean asked.
"Stop her? We should be helping her!" Opal said.
"We have no idea where your mom is or what he plan is. If we go charging into Kuvira's camp, we could get them all captured or worse. All we can do now is wait." Korra said.
Thats when the loudspeakers turned on.
"Attention, citizens of Zaofu. Your leader, Su Beifong, attempted to attack me tonight while I slept, despite the fact I was going to leave her city be after Kruger made the request. I now have her and her assault team in custody." Kuvira said.
"No." Opal said.
"Rest assured that I will not take revenge on the peaceful citizens of Zaofu, as long as your remaining representatives meet me outside the city at dawn to offer the full and unconditional surrender of your city. That is all." Kuvira said.
"Korra, you can't let Kuvira get away with this. We have to go break out my mom and my brothers." Opal said.
"You swore an oath of nonaggression when you became an airbender. You can't just attack Kuvira." Jinora said making her scoff.
"Oh thats a laugh. Would you do the same if Turok's life was on the line?" Opal mocked.
"Thats not fair." Jinora said glaring at her.
"Knock it off!" Sean said stopping them. "All right...Tomorrow we'll go back and try to talk to Kuvira again since I got through to her before. Suyin wasn't in the right on this either. Opal you can't honestly tell me you were okay with your mother flat out attacking Kuvira...Or killing her. Thats flat out murder." Sean said making her look away.
"But what she's doing isn't right." Opal said.
"I never said it was. Look tomorrow we'll try to solve this peacefully." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Pemma laughed seeing Junior and Diana playing with Naga and Lizzie with the later running away from Junior who tried to catch her.
"It's so good to see Junior again after all these years. And I'm happy to see Diana is having a good time." Pemma said to Tenzin as Diana tackled Naga making them smile.
However the good moment was ruined when Raiko arrived with his private security.
"What do you want Raiko?" Tenzin asked.
"I'm here to take the Children away." Raiko said making him frown.
"You don't have that right." Tenzin said.
"I'm the President of Republic City. My word is law. And I say their parents are unfit to raise them after so many incidents and putting them in danger which gives me reason to take them away. So Step aside unless you want yours also taken away." Raiko said making him glare.
"No." Tenzin said.
"You had..." Raiko tried to say before a familiar roar was heard making them widen their eyes before they saw Vlad in his battle spirit form approaching them. "AAAAH! WHAT IS HE DOING HERE!" Raiko yelled in fear as he approached them.
"Daddy won't save you this time. Time to die!" Vlad said before Junior began to glow before taking on a form of his battle spirit...Kong.
Kong glared at Vlad before pounding his chest hard before roaring at him as he punched him hard in the face sending him crashing to the ground.
Vlad roared loudly as he tried to swing at him but Kong dodged before striking him back.
"Incredible. I had heard legends about this Battle spirit long ago. Supposedly it rivals Godzilla even." Tenzin said in awe as the two fought one another before Kong grabbed one of Vlad's arms before twisting it off making him roar in pain.
"INSOLANT BRAT!" Vlad yelled moving to punch him down only for Kong to grab it before crushing his hand making him roar in pain as Kong Roared at him.
Thats when Diana also began to glow brightly shocking the others.
Appearing above Kong was a giant Moth like monster who screeched loudly.
"Queen of the Battle Spirits. Mothra." Tenzin said. (2019 version)
Morthra screeched at Vlad who roared loudly before she began to glow brightly before blasting Vlad making him roar loudly before his battle spirit form crumbled apart before he turned human again and landed on a speed boat before glaring at them before he tried to turn back into his battle spirit form but couldn't much to his shock.
"What. No...NOOOO!" Vlad roared in horror realizing all his power was stolen from him.
"She took away all his power. Unbelievable." Tenzin said in awe as Vlad used the speed boat to escape before Junior and Diana turned human before passing out making Pemma rush to them.
"Now...Since thats out of the way...I'll be taking them away." Raiko said before Tenzin airbended him away.
"Your not taking them period. If you lay a single finger on them while Sean and Korra are gone you'll be facing their wrath and mine. Am I clear?" Tenzin said making him growl.
"This isn't over." Raiko said leaving.
Meanwhile
Sean, Korra, Jinora and Opla stood outside of Zaofu facing Kuvira's army with Suyin and her sons in Pods.
"Let them go." Opal said.
"If Su agrees to bow to me and turn over Zaofu, she and the rest of your family will not be harmed." Kuvira said.
"Never! I'll never bow to you!" Suyin yelled.
"There must be some way for us to resolve this." Korra said.
"I've already laid out my terms, and I think they're very reasonable. After all, Su did try to take me out during our peaceful talks." Kuvira said.
"You call bringing an army to threaten our city peaceful?" Wei asked.
"Where's Bolin? I know he would never agree to go along with this." Opal said.
"If you must know he's in a cell where he'll stay until we're done so he can head to a reeducation camp since he and Varrick tried to escape." Kuvira said shocking her. "Now turn over Zaofu." Kuvira said.
"I'm not gonna let you take the city." Korra said.
"Avatar Korra, You are interfering with internal Earth Empire business and letting your personal feelings get in the way of reason. Zaofu cannot continue to rule itself. They have been hoarding their riches and technology too long. I'm here to distribute those resources fairly throughout the nation. This is about equality." Kuvira said.
"Oh jeez where have I heard that bullshit line before." Sean said remembering Amon.
"The only way you're going to keep me from marching into Zaofu is if you physically stop me." Kuvira said making Korra sigh.
"Fine. You leave me no choice." Korra said.
"Oh no I'm not fighting you. Him." Kuvira said looking at Sean.
"Wait what?" Sean asked.
"You'll be the one I'm fighting." Kuvira said.
"Thats not fair! Sean can't fight right now." Korra yelled.
"Then I'll make it fair. If he can survive for at least 10 minutes I'll let Suyin and her sons go and leave with my army. If he loses though the city is mine." Kuvira said.
"I'm not gonna agree to that." Korra said before he troops had blades aimed at Suyin and her sons.
"You don't have a choice." Kuvira said.
"This is an act of a coward...Fine." Sean said.
"Sean, no. You can't agree to this." Korra said worried for her husband.
"I don't have a choice. All right Kuvira will do it your way." Sean said making her grin.
"Perfect." Kuvira said before launching metal at him but he dodged.
"I may not have my fighting spirit at the moment but I'm far from helpless." Sean said continuing to dodge her attacks.
Korra looked really worried for her husband as he continued to dodge which was unusual since she was used to seeing him on the offense not defense.
"I'm sure he'll be fine." Jinora said.
Sean continued to dodge most of her attacks before she grins.
"You know I just remembered something about you." Kuvira said.
"And whats...AHHHH!" Sean yelled as his body started twisting painfully.
"Your entire body is made of metal. Which puts you at my mercy." Kuvira said twisting his limps painfully making him growl.
Korra held her mouth as she watched Kuvira toy with Sean like a rag doll before she held him in the air before slamming him down hard.
"Had enough?" Kuvira asked as Sean spat out blood.
"Is that all you got?" Sean asked making her frown before continuing to use metal bending on him making him groan in pain before she slammed him into the mountain hard as he fell on the ground groaning.
"I think I'll do you a favor and put you back in the ground." Kuvira said as she pulled part of the mountain down making an avalanche.
"Kuvira don't!" Suyin yelled in horror as Sean looked up before widening his eyes as he was buried in rubble.
"NOOOO!" Korra screamed in horror.
Kuvira on the other hand grinned at this before looking at Korra.
"So much for your family back together again." Kuvira mocked making her glare in hatred.
"I'll kill you!" Korra roared.
Meanwhile
Sean groaned as he found himself back at the temple where he came back to life.
"What am I doin here again?" Sean asked.
"Just wanted to talk to my great grandson."
Sean turned before seeing a man in ancient robes in a stone chair grinning at him.
"Draco." Sean said looking at his great grandfather.
"It does my heart good to see my bloodline. Come...Sit." Draco said as another stone chair appeared before Sean sat down. "You are troubled." Draco said.
"I'm getting my ass handed to me by Kuvira because my powers and fighting spirit are damaged from coming back from the dead because of Zaheer. I'm not the same person I was 3 years ago." Sean said.
"Sean. I know why your powers and fighting spirit are compromised. It's not because you died. It's because you're afraid. Of leaving your family behind again. So in a way you're holding yourself back from fighting because of that fear." Draco said making him look away. "But there is no shame in that. I once feared I was no longer suited to guide mankind because of a mistake I made long ago when I first became the Avatar of Life." Draco said.
"What did you do?" Sean asked making him sigh.
"I made a grave mistake. Something that haunted me for many years. Your Great Grandmother however said we all make mistakes. But it's important that we learn from them. And I have. Now what is important here and now is you need to stop holding yourself back because of your fears and face them. To protect your family and children." Draco said.
"I'm just not the same as I was." Sean said.
"No...You're even more powerful than ever. The Primordial inside you has evolved and so have you in your powers. And with that power comes new abilities that will help you protect what you love. I can show you one that can be used for now. You will need decades of practice to master it but for now I will help you use it." Draco said before they both vanished.
Meanwhile
Korra growled in rage as she glared at Kuvira who smirked.
"Face it. Without your..." Kuvira tried to say before a great wave of power was felt coming from the rubble before an explosion occurred from it sending rocks at Kuvira's men making them scatter.
A large cloud of dust was seen before the others saw something big with a large set of spikes on the back.
"What...What is." Kuvira tried to say.
(Insert Godzilla Monster planet full theme)
Appearing from the cloud of dust was a large monster that was larger than anything they had ever seen.
"Wha?" Korra said in shock before the dust began to clear showing what looked like Godzilla but far larger by 300 meters and the power came off in massive waves. (Picture Godzilla from Godzilla Monster planet)
How this was possible was simple. Draco had shown Sean how to merge his battle spirits together and combined the power of the Primordial of life inside him with it giving this new form great unimaginable power that rivaled a primordial.
Kuvira trembled in fear as she looked at this new monster before it growled loudly before letting out a powerful roar that sent fear into her troops.
"Sean?" Korra asked hopeful as he looked at her for a second before glaring at Kuvira.
"Lets try that again." Sean said to Kuvira who trembled in fear before shaking it off.
"FIRE! FIRE EVERYTHING!" Kuvira roared as they blasted Sean with everything they had but nothing worked as he growled at them.
"Is that the best you can do? My turn." Sean said as the spikes on his back began to glow before unleashing a ultra sonic burst of power that sent most of her army flying making them scream in horror.
"What in the name of." Suyin tried to say before he blasted her prison off her and her sons making them run to Korra and the others as Sean growled loudly at Kuvira's army before roaring loudly at them before swinging his tail at them creating a wave of power so great it killed almost all of them on impact making them scream in horror while Kuvira widened her eyes in fear.
Thats when Sean looked at Kuvira before growling at her.
"No...NO STAY AWAY!" Kuvira screamed before Sean let out a wave of power from his mouth at her making her scream as she was completely destroyed on impact.
(End song)
With the familiar glow Sean turned to human size before he collapsed to his knee making Korra rush to him.
"Are you ok?" Korra asked her husband who looked at her before he surprisingly smiled at her.
"Yeah. I'm ok." Sean said kissing her making her moan before she pulled back.
"How did you do that?" Korra asked.
"Ah. Long story. I'll explain later." Sean said before he spotted Baatar getting out of the wreckage before he approached him.
"Baatar." Sean said startling him as he crawled away.
"What are you gonna do to me? Kill me?" Baatar asked in fear.
"No...Your gonna RUN. Run away Baatar. And never return." Sean said making him tremble. "RUUUUN!" Sean roared making him run away before getting on the only airship that was still flyable.
"Sean I..." Suyin tried to say.
"Don't worry. He'll be back one day once he learns what he gave up and beg for forgiveness." Sean said making her sigh accepting this.
"HEY!" Bolin yelled making them face him seeing him and Varrick rush to them.
"Bolin!" Opal yelled rushing to him and pulled him into a hug.
"Ah theres a happy ending to all this crap." Sean said smiling as Korra held him.
"Lets go home." Korra said making him nod.
Later
Sean and the others arrived at the island before noticing some small damage to the land making Sean and Korra look at each other in concern before they landed.
"Tenzin?" Korra called out as they rushed to find them.
"We're all right." Tenzin said as Pemma has both Junior and Diana asleep next to her with the others around.
"The hell happened?" Sean asked.
"Vlad came back again to finish what he started." Tenzin said shocking them. "However both of them managed to unleash their battle spirits and defeated him and Diana's was revealed to be the Queen of the Battle spirits known as Mothra and took away all of Vlad's powers leaving him vulnerable and mortal." Tenzin said shocking them further before the kids woke up.
"Daddy!" Diana yelled jumping into his arms making him sigh in relief while Korra held Junior.
"You two just made us so proud." Sean said making her giggle while Korra kissed Junior's forehead.
Thats when Raiko approached them again with more security.
"What do you want now?" Sean asked.
"You are officially under arrest for Mass Murder!" Raiko said shocking them.
"You have GOT to be kidding me!" Turok yelled.
"I stopped Kuvira from taking Zaofu and this is my thanks!" Sean asked pissed off.
"Because of you the Earth Kingdom will be in chaos. You will surrender yourself and accept the punishment which is death and Your wife will be sentenced to life in prison and your Children will be put into Foster Care!" Raiko roared before.
BANG BANG BANG!
Raiko gasped as he was shot in the chest several times by Sean as Raiko's security ran off in fear.
"I've had enough with you. And why are you always trying to send my kids into Foster Care?" Sean asked grabbing his head before his hand had green flames on them. "Oh so whats why. You want to put them in abusive homes as payback for what Aang did to you." Sean said.
"My father?" Tenzin asked.
"Turns out Raiko had two siblings who his parents abused as did he while they treated him like a king decades before Aang passed away. But when Aang found out he had Toph step in and arrested the parents who were sentenced to life in prison for so much abuse. His siblings got into good homes while he was sent to an abusive home no doubt Toph's doing as payback. He vowed revenge and when Aang passed he swore he would get back at the Next Avatar from the four nations which is Korra. He wanted her to suffer as he did by letting her know our kids were treated horrible." Sean said making Korra glare at Raiko in pure hatred.
"Your predecessor ruined my life! I had everything back then until he got involved and my life went down the drain. My life was planned out perfectly!" Raiko yelled as he coughed up blood.
"You know what? Death is too kind for you." Korra said before whispering in Sean's ear making him grin.
"Your right...The Void does sound more fitting." Sean said opening the portal to said world before Sean threw him in making him scream in horror as he was sealed within like Vaatu and those it was meant to contain.
"Finally." Korra said before holding her kids close. "No one is ever taking you from us." Korra said making them laugh.
days later
Everyone was at Sean and Korra's place celebrating their victory against Kuvira and Raiko's death who everyone was glad was gone.
"So who's gonna take Raiko's place?" Sean asked Hudson and Adler.
"Your father said he would step in for a couple years. Considering what happened the City feels more comfortable with someone from outside the four nations leading them. And with Kuvira gone everyone is resting easier." Adler said.
"Good. Leading a city sounds like something he can do easily if he can run a world wide company." Sean said before walking away as he saw Korra outside. "You ok?" Sean asked.
"Yeah...How'd you do it? Get your fighting spirit back and those new powers?" Korra asked making him smile.
"I had a nice talk with my great Grandfather. He said I was afraid to lose you and the kids again and that fear held me back. Helped me get over it by giving me a purpose to fight again. By protecting all of you." Sean said making her smile before she kissed him.
"I'm glad you're back to your old self." Korra said as she held him close. "By the way...I got a surprise." Korra said making him grin.
"Let me guess? You're pregnant again." Sean said making her grin as she held her stomach.
"At least this one was actually planned. At least by me." Korra said making him chuckle.
"Planned or unplanned. I consider each the greatest gift in our life." Sean said making her smile as she held him close.
"I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too. But I don't think our troubles are over." Sean said looking at his statue. "I was brought back for a reason and I don't think it was because of Vlad or Kuvira. Something is gonna happen soon. Something dangerous." Sean said before she held his arm.
"Whatever it is we'll face it together." Korra said making him nod before looking at the stars.
Authors Note: And with that Kuvira is dead and so is Raiko about fucking time. Now Next Chapter is gonna be something really special since we're getting closer to the end of this story. And I have more Legend of Korra story ideas since this series just screams potential for some reason.
