Blueeyeddevil06, thank you for being my beta!

"I trusted you, Killian!" David screamed across the table of the council meeting. "I know my daughter is reckless. I thought you had enough sense to keep her safe!" His face had gone very red.

They had arrived back from The Dark One's estate, and Tinkerbell convinced Killian that she was, in fact, evil.

She had smiled and announced, "Emma defeated The Dark One. Crisis averted. We just got back from going with him to his estate." The stupid fairy even clapped.

It was the worst way she could have announced the events, and a council meeting was called loudly. David wouldn't listen to anyone's attempt to add anything else to her statement.

Now, Tinkerbell, he noticed, was nowhere to be seen. He figured she was fairy-sized and hiding somewhere. She was evil and a coward.

Killian looked at Emma and whispered, "Can you help me out, Love? Captain Hook needs to make an appearance."

He stood as white smoke swirled around him, and when it disappeared, he was fully dressed like Captain Hook. He didn't know his kohl eye-liner was darker. She thought it was sexy when he put it on heavier.

"If you don't sit down and shut up, David, I will steal the princess and take her away from you!" He yelled out. "How dare you challenge me." He glared at David and forced himself not to smile when he sat down.

Captain Hook was in command now. Here was where he protected Emma from her parents. He noticed she was nearly in tears because her father was mad at her. She was daddy's girl, and she hated having upset him. On top of that, he could tell she was exhausted and needed rest. She'd done the impossible with her magic and it had drained her.

He brought his mind back to the present. He was still fuming. "Tinkerbell is an idiot!"

"Hey!" She yelled out.

"And a coward! Or are you going to face me after what you pulled?!" He looked in the direction her voice had come from, and he still couldn't locate her.

"I'm okay being called a coward." She admitted.

He shook his head in her direction. He then glared at everyone at the table except Regina and Emma.

"I won't stand for you shouting at Emma. She was bloody brilliant today." He then took a breath and stared everyone down so they wouldn't argue.

"What actually happened was that The bloody Dark One went and found true love. He decided to give up his evil powers for her, and she convinced him to come to Emma for help." He decided he should sit down. Everyone was quiet and calmed down, and if it got out of hand again, he would make a point by standing up again.

"Your prophecy said that all were led into the light." He reached over and grabbed Emma's hand and squeezed it. "Emma destroyed the Dark One curse. The dagger has disintegrated. Yes. We went to his estate. We needed his books to research and some of his supplies. I was there to keep her from doing anything rash. David's right. She's fearless."

"I believe he said reckless," Emma commented.

"He meant fearless, Love. He's just scared right now." He looked at her and held her gaze. "Trust me. He's not really mad. He's afraid."

One tear ran down her cheek, and she wiped it away quickly. "You didn't let me do anything crazy."

"We're in this together. I'll not let you fail." He kissed her cheek where her tear had been.

He then turned his attention back to Snow and David. "The Dark One is no more. Only the man, Rumplestilskin, is left. He didn't once try to attack Emma. He even let his heart be pulled out of his chest with us all in the room. And before you ask, no, I didn't trust him. It was pointed out to me, though, that Emma had two choices. Work with him or fight him to the death. We had to give the first one a chance. Especially since the only way I've heard of killing the Dark One is to become him."

He leaned back in his chair to indicate that he was done talking. He kept up his hard glare, though. He didn't want anyone to start yelling at Emma again.

David had seen Emma's tear, and it tore at his heart. "I did mean fearless, Emma. Sorry that I yelled. I was scared." He looked at Kilian. He was afraid to ask Emma anything right now and possibly upset her. "What happened?"

"No," Killian announced. "What happened is that she fulfilled the prophecy. It was… eventful. Maybe one day, when you've all gained my trust that you will respond well, I'll tell you."

"Fair enough," David replied.

Emma spoke up, "Killian, surely we can tell-"

"No." He cut her off. He then looked her in the eyes. "If you insist, then I will, but please let me have this."

She nodded. "I trust you. Okay." Her eyes drooped shut in exhaustion.

Killian stood and drew Emma up with him. "She's tired. She does have limits, and she's approaching them."

Regina nodded to him and said, "I'll have them start working on ideas for Rumple. We need a plan, but you both don't need to be part of this yet."

Halfway to their room, Killian lifted Emma in his arms and carried her. She was asleep before they reached their bedroom door. He laid her on the bed, undressed her, and tucked her in. He then undressed too, crawled in next to her, and clung to her while she slept. If he was right about her magic, she'd get her energy back faster with him holding her. If he wasn't, then at least he was clinging to the one he needed more than anything. He thought he was going to lose her today. He was glad she was sleeping so she couldn't see him cry.

Regina moved the meeting on to figuring out what to do with Rumple and Belle. "Now we need a plan. Obviously, Rumple can't stay here. He has too many enemies. Frankly, I don't really want him around either. We need to figure out what to do with them. Belle's his true love." She looked at Snow. She knew she had a trump card up her sleeve, and she was about to play it. "Remember Belle? She came here last year for Emma's birthday celebration with her father. You liked her."

Snow's eyes grew huge. "Oh my gosh, she's such a sweet girl! She and Emma are such great friends. I hated that they couldn't spend more time together." She looked at David. "We have to help her, David."

Regina schooled her features. She had decades of practice not showing her emotion. Right now, she was fighting back laughter. She forced herself to say calmly, "I knew you'd want to help her."

David took one look at his wife and knew he'd be helping them. He scowled, "The bloody Dark One, great! Now I have to help the man that kidnapped my daughter."

Tinkerbell's laughter could be heard, and she said, "You sound like Killian!" She started giggling.

Snow cut in, "He's not evil anymore. He found true love."

"So, what do you want to do with him?" Lancelot spoke up. The rest of the council had been quiet when Killian, no, Captain Hook was there.

"We could send him somewhere," Red said. "Somewhere that he doesn't have enemies."

"But, Belle's father would miss her." Snow pointed out.

"Belle's father betrayed her," Regina informed them. "She doesn't want to see him. I heard from the neighboring kingdoms that her father threw her in the dungeon because she dared to say there was good in Rumpelstiltskin."

David was horrified, "That's despicable."

"Rumple rescued her." Regina shrugged. "It's a strange time right now." She then thought for a minute. "What if we send them to a land without magic? That way, he won't ever be tempted to use magic again."

"There's a land like that?" Granny asked in shock. "How awful! It sounds like a place a curse would send someone!"

"True," Regina said. "But, he might be more willing to go if no one had magic. There wouldn't be someone much more powerful than him."

"We're doing him a favor?" Grumpy asked.

"We're getting him to get out of our lives for good willingly, and we're helping Belle," Regina replied.

"Let's check with Emma and Killian tomorrow before we talk to Rumple and Belle." Snow said. "I want to make sure they're on board. Then we have to figure out how to get them there. Anyone know where any magic beans are?" Snow's question was met with silence.

Zelena laid in bed feeling frustrated. She wasn't used to pain. Baelfire walked in looking contrite. "You're right. I should have told you the truth about Emma. You're my wife. I'm sorry."

He then held up the stone he used to talk to his father. "Papa gave me this to contact him. I've been talking to him this whole time." He looked forlornly at the rock. "It doesn't work anymore. I just found it out. I don't know what it means."

She held out her hand, "Let me see it for a minute." He placed it in her palm and sat down in the chair near her bed.

She closed her eyes and focused on the rock. She let her magic try to decipher the spell in it. There wasn't one. "Are you sure this is the right rock?"

"I don't have a reason to keep any other rocks in my drawer."

"Good point. Well, there isn't any magic in it at all. Anything that was in it is just... gone. I really don't know what that means. I've never heard of it happening before." She thought a minute, then added. "Thank you for coming to me with this."
