"Stace, I'm back." Beca announced as she walked through the door of the off-campus apartment the two were now staying in.

The apartment was something that Stacie's parents had rented the girls once Stacie broke the news of being pregnant to them. Her parents took the news greatly and were actually excited at the thought of having a grandkid to spoil. They had a long talk about how exactly Stacie was going to manage the situation.

"Well, I'm still obviously going to finish school since we only have one semester left." Stacie said.

"Right, what about dealing with the actual pregnancy? You know the appointments and sickness?" Her mom asked.

"I'm actually going to be lucky one dealing with that." Beca spoke up causing Stacie's parents to look at her shocked.

"I'm sorry?" Stacie's dad asked.

Beca chuckled "Yeah I told her I'd step up and be by her side. I'm not letting her go through this alone and whatever she needs I'll do." Beca said.

Stacie's parents were just as stunned as Stacie was when she first heard that. Her parents instantly thanked Beca profusely and told the girls to let them help in some way. Some way came by renting them a two-bedroom apartment and taking care of the bills. The two girls absolutely loved having a place all to themselves. The rest of the Bellas took the news just like her parents and were all excited, they also understood the decision to move out and the fact that Stacie might not be able to do all the dancing and moving around.

So far Stacie was four short months into the pregnancy and had a little bump but nothing to crazy. She had been dealing with the typical morning sickness and hormones, something Beca just absolutely loved to put with. Beca couldn't tell you how many times Stacie had gone from looking like a possessed pissed off girl one second to the sweetest most affectionate person the next. She never understood how pregnant women can have such drastic mood swings. The morning sickness however was something she wished Stacie didn't have to deal with, she always hated seeing the taller girl wake up almost in tears from how bad she'd feel some mornings.

Despite all that Beca wouldn't trade this for anything. She loved being able to live in the same place as Stacie who had become even closer to her.

"Ohhhh what'd you get?" Stacie asked excitedly has she came out of the living room.

Beca chuckled at her excitement as she started to dig through the grocery bags.

"Well miss I eat any and everything we have." Beca joked earning a slap from the taller girl.

"Watch it Mitchell." Stacie joked back.

Beca pulled out a tub of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream as well as a plain vanilla one handing it over to Stacie.

"Your two favorite flavors." She smiled as Stacie quickly snatched them.

"What else?" Stacie asked.

"Well, the usual sweets that you seem to crave at ungodly hours." Beca said putting all the candy in one bag and pushing that to side.

Stacie went to grab it but Beca slapped her hand "Hey just cause you're pregnant doesn't mean you can just eat all the candy. You know the rules." Beca said pointing a finger.

Stacie pouted and nodded.

"I also got that hot sauce you've been enjoying. Seriously this pregnancy has changed your pallet completely, you couldn't even handle sriracha before this." Beca shook her head "And lastly a jar of pickles." She spoke.

Stacie perked up at this and grabbed the jar of picked with the vanilla ice cream.

Beca looked on as the taller girl put a spoonful of ice cream in her mouth before biting down on a pickle.

"You're disgusting dude." Beca said.

Stacie smirked "Do you really want to tell the pregnant women you live with that?"

Beca shrugged "As the girl who takes care of you, buys you whatever you want to eat and the girl who goes on all types of late-night runs for you I'm pretty sure I can say whatever I want to say." Beca smirked as she finished organizing the stuff in the kitchen.

"Can we watch the new season of Lucifer?" Stacie asked.

Beca nodded her head "Of course we can. Come on."

Stacie smiled and grabbed her odd snack and made her way back to the couch.

The two were three episodes into the season and Stacie was laid across the couch with her legs across Beca's lap. Beca started to massage the girl's legs softly while keeping up with the episode.

"How were your classes?" Beca asked.

"Alright, just tired from all the walking. Like if I'm this tired at four months, I can't imagine when I hit six or seven when the bump gets bigger, and my feet get more swollen." Stacie said.

"You've been doing great so far, nothing to bad has happened thankfully. When that happens, I promise to give you all the massages your heart desires." Beca said.

"Don't make promises you can't keep." Stacie smiled.

Two hours later after Beca cooked some chicken tacos and made Stacie some nachos with a hot sauce and cheese dip, she started up a bath for Stacie.

"Alright everything is set up to your liking." Beca said coming out the bathroom drying her hand.

Stacie made her way to the bathroom and turned to face the door.

"Nope, door stays open." Beca said over her shoulder.

"Becs it's just a bath. I'm not five years old." Stacie said back.

Beca turned around "Stace anything can happen ok. I just want to be able to not only keep an eye on you but be able to get in quickly in case something does happen." Beca said.

Stacie sighed "Ok mom."

Beca made her way to Stacie's bed and plopped down on it tiredly.

"Now I know my parents are always so tired." Beca said quietly. Beca was learning that having to handle school and watch over someone was way more tiring than she thought it'd be. There were some nights where she'd be lucky to even get two full hours of sleep. Some nights her mind would be so focused on Stacie that she would get no sleep due to her constantly checking on her. Other nights she'd be so backed up on schoolwork that she'd pull all-nighters just to catch up.

Twenty minutes later Beca heard Stacie struggling with something so she made her way towards the bathroom.

"You good?" Beca asked standing in the doorway.

Stacie shook her head "Help me get up please?" She asked.

Beca chuckled and held her hands out "Come on."

She helped Stacie out the tub before handing her a towel and letting the water drain. Stacie dried herself and wrapped the towel around her body before making her way to her room. She picked out some shorts and a tank top the sat on the edge of her bed when Beca told her to. Beca sat behind her with a towel and a comb as she started brushing and drying Stacie's hair.

"You know I could do my own hair right Becs?" Stacie asked amused.

"I know but I figured why have you waste energy on something I can easily do for you." Beca said.

"You know when you said you'd be by my side and help me through everything, I wasn't expecting this." Stacie said softly.

"What? Me being your personal hair stylist?" Beca joked.

Stacie chuckled "No I meant you actually doing everything you've done. You know cooking for me, feeding me when I've felt like crap, buying me food, taking care of me when I'm puking my guts out, be there at every doctor's appointment and just caring for me. I just figured you wouldn't actually do all that. A lot of times people say those type of things but never really act on it or they just give up."

Beca put the comb down and moved next to the girl "Of course I would, you're my best friend Stace. No one deserves to go through this alone and you've always been there for me so it's only right. Look I wouldn't trade this for anything, and I mean that."

"Really?" Stacie asked.

"Of course. I get to live with you, spend every day with you, have late night adventures with you, joke around and have fun with you. Why wouldn't I want this? Yeah, every now and then I have to handle your mood swings or sickness but like I told you back at the Bella house, you got me forever." Beca smiled.

Hearing this caused Stacie to cry, and she threw her arms around the smaller girls neck similar to that night when she first told Beca. Beca returned the embrace.

After a few Stacie pulled back "Sorry stupid hormones making me all emotional."

"It's all good." Beca chuckled wiping the tears from Stacie's cheeks "Now let's get you in bed, you have another appointment tomorrow morning."
