Chapter 45: Avengers Assemble
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. Here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for. Sorry about the wait but this took a lot of figuring out but I think you'll enjoy what I've done. Please Review and Enjoy.
We find ourselves at the Watchtower orbiting earth, inside various members of the Justice League were hard at work keeping track of everyone's safety.
Walking around we see heroes like Green Arrow, Black Canary, Huntress, Fire, Ice and even Doctor Fate.
In the main room, Superman walks in to see Martian Manhunter John Stewart Green Lantern and Shazam at the front while Batman was the computer.
"He's been there all day." Martian Manhunter said.
"Dude seriously needs to get up and move." Shazam said.
"Have you tried telling him that?" Superman asks.
"You tell him that." Shazam said.
"Fair enough." Superman said not wanting to deal with an angry Batman.
"You know I can hear you all right?" Batman asks getting their attention.
"Sorry." Superman said walking over to him. "What are you looking at anyway? Things have been pretty quiet."
"Yes, too quiet. I don't like it." Batman said bringing up files. "Lately Superhero High is dealing with more danger than us."
"Just small stuff Batman. I mean Eclipso is such a drama queen. They kicked her butt easy." Shazam said.
"One should enjoy peace; it's not often we get the luxury of not having it." Martian Manhunter said when a boom tube opened and Captain Marvel appeared.
"Captain Marvel." Superman said acknowledging her.
"Hey what up girl?" Shazam smiles.
"We have a situation. A dangerous one." Captain Marvel said walking in.
"What's wrong?" Green Lantern asks.
"Vandal Savage." Captain Marvel said getting their attention.
"I knew something was coming." Batman narrows his eyes as she walks up to him.
"He's on the move. He struck Hala and stole some dangerous tech." Captain Marvel said.
"How dangerous?" Superman asks.
"Blow up planets dangerous with one shot dangerous." Captain Marvel narrows her eyes as she brought up a map with a red light. "I tried to capture him but he managed to escape. Before he did I managed to put a tracker on his ship. I'd follow him myself but knowing Savage as well you guys do.." She starts.
"He has something in store to stop you." Batman finishes.
"We have to stop this weapon before it gets online. Captain Marvel lead the way." Superman said as the Justice League prepared for battle.
However when they left a small device beeped.
On Earth, Klarion received a message. "And just like that, the mice have taken the bait." He grins ready to make his move.
Leaning against the wall was a fancy spear with a glowing blue stone attached to it.
"I really hope I can use my new toy." Klarion grins grabbing it.
Walking out he sees the blue cube he got from Vandal hooked up to a machine.
"Soon everything will be all set." Klarion grins when he hears clapping.
"Whoa man, love the cool cube you got there." Turning around Klarion saw a teenage boy with blonde hair in a SHIELD uniform clapping his hands. This was Johnny Storm. "I gotta say this looks pretty cool what you have going here."
"How did you find me? I wasn't expecting company." Klarion said as his cat jumped off his shoulder.
"That cube of yours is giving off tons of energy, you really think we wouldn't see it?" Fury said emerging from the shadows and suddenly bursting in tons of SHIELD agents aiming their guns right at Klarion appeared.
"Director Nick Fury." Klarion smirks.
"Klarion the Witch Boy. You are under arrest." Nick Fury said.
"And if I refuse?" Klarion asks as his cat, Teekl was slowly sneaking behind them.
"Then let's just say it's gonna get ugly." Fury said.
"Oh well in that case…" Klarion grins as Teekl hisses before turning into an anthromorphic cat and leaps at the agents mauling one.
Using this chance, Klarion fires a beam from his spear blasting an agent to the ground.
"Guess it's gonna be the hard way. Flame on!" Johnny yells as his entire body erupts in flames turning him into the Human Torch.
As all the agents opened fired Klarion created a barrier absorbing the attacks before firing another blast knocking them and Fury to the ground.
Looking over Klarion sees Human Torch hurling a blast of flames at Teekl who was doing its best to dodge.
"Come here you little furball!" Human Torch said as Teekl jumps over him but when he turns around he sees Klarion in front of him.
"You have heart." Pressing his spear against his chest, Human Torch powers down as blue energy entered Johnny's body putting him into some kind of trance.
Looking up Fury saw he was near the cube.
Slowly he reaches out and pulls it free and places it in a briefcase.
Moving around Klarion puts all the other agents and soldiers in a trance as well.
"I wouldn't take another step if I were you." Klarion said turning to Fury who was trying to leave. "I still need that."
"This doesn't have to get any messier." Fury said.
"Oh I assure you this isn't even the start. Once this is over the Earth will conquered." Klarion said.
"The Justice League would never let that happen." Fury said.
"Oh foolish man, by the time they find out the truth it'll be too late. They're off world." Klarion said causing Fury's eyes to widen.
When Klarion snaps his fingers Johnny blasts Fury who tries to dodge but an explosion goes off knocking him the ground.
"Let's go." Klarion said as Johnny grabs the briefcase.
Turning back into a normal cat, Teekl climbs into Klarion's hands. "Best get ready Teekl we have a big event to get to."
Groaning Fury looks up and tries to follow but when he arrives, he sees many of their cars being taken.
"Dammit." Taking out his speaker, he turns it on. "Hill, Coulson do you read me?"
"Director Fury?" Maria Hill answers.
"What happened sir?" Coulson asks.
"Klarion the Witch Boy has the tesseract. I need all available Agents looking for him and that briefcase." Fury said
"Roger sir." Maria said.
"Coulson, get to the base. This is a Level 7 and the Justice League is off world." Fury said as both Maria and Phil tensed up. "As of right now, we are at war."
"What do we do?" Phil asks.
Pausing Fury knew there was only one group that could possibly have a chance.
"I need to call my wife." Fury said.
Meanwhile in a small warehouse, a teenage boy in a red and black suit with horns atop his red mask was tied to a chair.
"You really thought you could bring down my whole operation?" A general asks as he and two goons with guns walked in.
Behind them we see a motherload of rare artwork and artifacts.
"Well you weren't exactly making an effort to hide it." He said.
Moving in one of the goons dangles the chair over the edge.
"Who do you work for?" The general asks as he remains quiet. "I guess the Daredevil is afraid." He mocks.
"I have no fear." Daredevil said.
"Tell your boss to move his tanks or else." The general said when one of his men's phone rang.
"Hello." He said before turning to the general. "It's for him."
Walking over the general takes the phone.
"You listen carefully." He starts.
"You are at 1-14 Silensky Plaza, 3rd floor. We have an F-22 eight miles out. Put the boy on the phone or I will blow up the entire block before you can make the lobby." Phil said on the other line.
Pausing the General puts the phone under Daredevil's ear so he could talk.
"What's going on?" Daredevil asks.
"We need you to come in." Phil said.
"Seriously? I'm in the middle of something." Daredevil said.
"This takes precedence." Phil said.
"I am in the middle of an interrogation and this idiot is giving me everything." Daredevil said.
"I…I don't give everything." The general said.
"Look whatever this is can wait." Daredevil said.
"Johnny's been compromised." Phil said causing Daredevil to pause.
"Could you hold for a second?" Daredevil asks.
As the general came to get the phone, Daredevil headbutts him making him fall backwards.
Breaking out of the ropes, Daredevil grabs his trusty baton and attacks. The goons try to fight back but Daredevil evaded all their moves taking them out with ease.
Gasping the General tries to escape but Daredevil throws a chain around his leg and throws him down the hall he was gonna push him through causing him to dangle.
Walking over Daredevil turns the baton into what looked like a blind man's walking stick.
"So what are we dealing with? Is hothead dead?" Daredevil asks picking up the phone.
"No he's alive, but we're bringing in others. Remember that team Fury's been working?" Phil asks.
"Can you really call that a team? Don't you only have 3 members?" Daredevil recalls.
"Boy you really have been a while for a while Matthew. You didn't know?" Phil asks.
"Know what?" Daredevil asks.
"One of the members did some recruiting. The team is now in the double digits." Phil said.
"We'll I'll be damned." Daredevil said making his way out. "See you soon."
In a small room, Fury was on screen with several council members.
"This is out of line director. You're dealing with forces you can't control." One said.
"You ever been in a fight before councilman or even a battle?" Fury asks.
"You're saying Klarion plans to start a war?" One asks.
"Just leave it to the Justice League, they've fought him before." A councilwoman said.
"The Justice League is unreachable at the moment. We can't depend on them for help. It's up to us. We need a response team." Fury said.
"The Avengers Initiative was shut down a long time ago and your candidates are…less than convincing." One said.
"They're heroes." Fury said.
"They're children." One clarifies. "You expect us to leave the survival of the human race in the hands of a bunch teenagers and a few adult chaperones?"
"I'm not leaving anything to anyone. We need a response team. Yes, they may not have much experience as a team but I believe with the right push they can be exactly what we need." Fury clarifies.
"You believe?" A councilwoman asks.
"War isn't won with sentiment." Another said.
"I know, it's won with soldiers." Fury said.
At Super Hero High, Steve was watching Diana spar against Kamala with Barbara, Tatsu, and Zee watching nearby.
"I was surprised you asked me to train with you." Diana said.
"What just because I'm not an Avenger I can't train with a friend?" Kamala smirks.
"Not at all." Diana said as Kamala attacks but she blocks the strikes and counters.
"So Babs, I heard they finally found a replacement IT girl." Zee said.
"Yeah I hope she's good." Barbara said.
"You certainly set the bar high." Tatsu said.
"Embiggen!" Kamala said as she swings her giant fists but Diana sidesteps and grabs her arm judo flipping Kamala to the ground.
"I learned that move from Iron Fist." Diana smiles.
"Ugh good one." Kamala said.
"And Diana wins." Steve said when the door opens revealing Nick Fury.
"I see you've been busy Rogers." Looking over the Avengers look to see him walking over.
"Who's the dude the eye patch?" Kamala asks.
"He's here for me." Steve said walking up to him.
"Actually I'm here to talk to the Avengers." Fury said before looking at Kamala.
"Oh uh…" She said as Diana turns to her.
"Sorry Kamala." Diana said.
"No, no I get it." Kamala said walking away.
"I feel bad for Kamala." Zee said.
"I have an assignment for you all." Fury said.
"Oh another recruitment?" Steve asks.
"No this time it's a real one." Fury said holding out a folder.
Curious, Diana takes it and opens it revealing a picture of the tesseract.
"The Tesseract?" Tatsu asks interested.
"HYDRA's Secret weapon." Steve recalls.
"When you went missing Howard Stark fished that out of the ocean looking for you. He thought what we all think. The Tesseract could be the key to unlimited sustainable energy. That's something the world needs, however it was recently stolen." Fury said.
"Unlimited energy? Oh man that could solve so many world issues." Barbara said impressed.
"Who took it?" Steve asks.
"Klarion the Witch Boy." Fury said and instantly Zee got nervous.
"Oh no, that's not good. If he's involved something bad is about to happen." Zee said.
"Coulson's getting the others. There's a lot I'll need to bring you up to speed on if you're in." Fury said.
"I guess we all better suit up." Barbara said.
"Dad I don't suppose you can tell us anything that we should know about the Tesseract?" Diana asks.
"They should have left it in the ocean." Steve said as they left to suit up.
Little did they know, Kamala was listening in on this.
"Ooh this sounds interesting." Kamala said getting an idea.
Walking out Fury looked at his watch.
"Leaving without saying goodbye?" Fury looks to see Amanda walk over.
"Amanda." Fury smiles.
"I don't see you for a month and when I hear from you after all this time you come to take my students to help save the world?" Amanda asks.
"Fate of the world might be at stake." Fury said.
"Maybe so Nicholas but do you think they're ready?" Amanda asks stopping in front of him.
"I think so, after all you've seen these kids in action and above anyone else in the world, I always trust your judgement." Fury smiles.
"Can you at least promise me a date night when this is over? I miss you." Amanda smiles.
"I will." Fury said as Amanda grabs him and kisses him on the lips.
"Now go save the world." Amanda said.
Separating Fury chuckles. "It's moments like this that make me realize why I married you."
In another area in Metropolis, Iron Man was underwater setting up a system.
"Okay should be all set. How's it look, kid?" Iron Man asks.
"Not seeing anything wrong." Jaden's voice said.
"Always good news." Iron Man said flying out of the water.
"Very impressive work Mr. Stark." Jarvis said.
"Thanks Jarvis." Iron Man said.
"You know Dr. Magnus is still mad at you for taking Jarvis from him." Kara's voice said.
"Yeah well I was the one who let him use Jarvis in the first place to help with the school so I am allowed to take him back whenever I choose." Iron Man said.
"If you say so." Kara said.
"The rest is up to you. If this works, Stark Tower will have its own clean energy sustaining energy source." Iron Man said.
"Yeah yeah yeah, just be sure to have the check ready." Jaden said.
"Light it up kid." Iron Man said as the power went on at a large tower in the middle of the city with the STARK logo on it.
"How's it look?" Jaden asks.
"Like Christmas but with more me." Iron Man said landing on the top floor.
"Oh great." Jaden said as he disconnect when Kara hugs him from behind.
"You are amazing you know that?" Kara said.
"I just did some computer stuff." Jaden smiles.
"Still I'm impressed." Kara said kissing him on the cheek.
Arriving at the top, Iron Man takes off his suit to see Kara sitting next to Jaden who was by a computer that Tony had set up.
"Sir, Phil Coulson is at the door." Jarvis said.
"Tell him I'm outside." Tony said walking in. "Well thanks for the help you two."
"So why did you want to make this tower?" Jaden asks.
"Hey the Justice League has their stupid Hall of Justice well we now have Stark Tower." Tony said.
"Well if it's for the Avengers shouldn't it be Avenger Tower?" Kara asks.
"No because it's my name out in big letters." Tony points.
"But uh—"
"Kara give it up. The only way he'll change his mind is if something crazy happened." Jaden said.
"See. He gets it." Tony said.
"Is okay I leave my Iron Spider suit here?" Jaden asks.
"Who's dumb enough to rob me? Besides Jarvis can keep a close eye on it." Tony said.
"Mr. Stark, Phil Coulson insists on coming up." Jarvis said.
"Uh I'm not interested." Tony said when the door opens revealing Phil anyway.
"Get interested." He said.
"Uh guys see this right? Security breach." Tony said.
"Mr. Stark, Mr. Cooper, Ms. Zor El." Phil said walking in.
"What's going on?" Jaden asks as Phil hands Tony a tablet device.
"Avengers work. We need you three up and moving." Phil said.
"Really?" Kara said interested.
"Fury has already gotten Captain America, Wonder Woman, Katana, Batgirl and Zatanna. We ask that you round up Black Panther, Iron Fist, Hulk and anyone else who you might have asked to join as well." Phil said.
"Oh then that's you Jaden. Better go pick everyone up." Tony said looking at the device.
"What why me?" Jaden asks.
"Besides me and Cap, you basically handpicked everyone to be on this team." Tony points out.
"Yeah you even picked me." Kara nods.
"Oh alright." Jaden sighs.
"I need to go prep the helicarrier. I hope to see you three there." Phil said.
"We certainly will." Kara nods.
"Hope you guys get set up. We'll meet you with the others." Phil said walking out.
"So how familiar are you guys with the Avengers?" Kara asks.
"Fury came to both me and Jaden and gave us the run down a while ago." Tony said browsing the contents.
"Yep walked right up to me after I saved Super Hero High from the Sinister 6." Jaden nods.
"What do you think?" Jaden asks as Tony looks at the file and his eyes widen.
"Jaden go back to school get all the other ones you recruited and catch up with me and Kara." Tony said.
"You got it. See you soon." Jaden said looking to Kara who gives him a kiss goodbye.
As Jaden goes down the elevator, he takes out his phone.
"This better not be a fake number Logan." Jaden said scrolling through it. "I hope Thor answers me."
In the middle of the ocean, the SHIELD Helicarrier was on the water when the ship holding the first group of the Avengers was arriving.
On one file, Steve was looking at files on Daredevil and Human Torch.
"Johnny Storm and Matthew Murdock. After an accident with a radioactive isotope Matthew went blind but was given this powerful sense he calls radar sense." Phil explains.
"So it's like Jaden's Spider Sense?" Barbara asks.
"No exactly. The Radar Sense allows Matthew to see without eyes and also heightens all his other senses. Johnny was in our space program but an unfortunate encounter with a cosmic storm all the exposure gave him the power over fire and energy." Phil said.
"Oof better keep him away from Frost." Zee giggles.
"For now, they've been SHIELD agents. Their codenames are Human Torch and Daredevil." Phil said.
"Well hopefully these two can be of help to us one day." Steve said when they heard a clattering in the back.
"What was that?" Phil asks.
"It appears we have a stowaway." Tatsu said grabbing her sword.
Slowly she made her way to the back and waited before leaping out and they heard a crashing noise.
Running over they saw Tatsu had pinned Kamala to the deck with her sword pointed at her.
"Whoa, whoa whoa don't kill me!" Kamala said.
"Kamala?" Diana said surprised.
"Who is this?" Phil asks.
"Kamala Khan otherwise known as Ms. Marvel." Steve said.
"Kamala what are you doing here?" Zee asks.
"Okay don't be mad but I kind of eavesdropped on your conversation with Fury earlier." Kamala cringed.
"Kamala!" They all said annoyed.
"I can have you arrested for eavesdropping on SHIELD business." Phil said.
"Please, come on you said this is dangerous so wouldn't you guys like an extra hand?" Kamala asks.
Sighing Barbara looks to them. "No way we can turn back can we?"
"Nope." Phil said.
"Dad what do you think?" Diana asks.
Steve looks to Kamala who had her hands cupped together with big eyes.
"Fine you can stick around." Steve said.
"Yes! Thank you, Captain America you are, the greatest." Kamala smiles.
"Agreed." Phil said moving in. "Hey uh I have some of your old cards. You think I can get you to sign them?"
"Uh…" Steve said not sure.
"They're vintage. Took me years to collect them all." Phil said.
"Well I guess." Steve said when they got an alert.
"Coulson come in." Fury said on speaker.
"Yes, Director." Phil said answering it.
"We got eyes on Klarion. He's been sighted in Germany." Fury said getting everyone's attention.
"Understood. Relay that message to the others." Phil said before turning to the heroes. "You guys better suit up."
Hearing this all the heroes tensed up seeing it was their time.
That night in Germany, at a big gala at the museum as tons of people were celebrating.
Little did they know in the back tons of security guards were being taken out by Human Torch and the SHIELD Agents who were trying to get.
"Is everything ready?" Klarion asks through a speaker.
"Yes sir. We just need the eye." Johnny said powering down.
"Good." In the Gala, Klarion was slowly making his way towards a man before casting a spell creating a panic as the man's eye was transferred to Johnny allowing them to open the door and steal what was inside.
As all the audience members were running for hteir lives, Klarion grabs his spear and as Teekl followed behind him he makes his way out only to slam his spear down creating an explosion making everyone stop in their tracks.
"Now isn't this much easier? Why do you people always have to cause trouble for your betters? Always making such a fuss over everything." Klarion chuckles. "You better get used to this, because soon you'll be kneeling before your betters."
Hearing this an old man stands up.
"Not to men like you." He said.
"There are no men like me." Klarion smirks.
"There are always men like you." The old man said.
"Looks like I'll have to make an example of you." Klarion said firing a magical blast from his spear when suddenly two figured leaped in reflecting the blast knocking Klarion to the ground.
Looking in awe they see Captain America and Wonder Woman with their shields ready.
"You know, the last time I saw a guy standing above everyone he and I had a disagreement." Captain America said.
"Just like what we're having with you." Wonder Woman said.
"The Soldier and the Amazon. How cute." Klarion said when Daredevil flew in on his SHIELD Ship.
"Alright Klarion drop the spear and stand down." Daredevil said as a large gun came out.
Narrowing his eyes, Klarion fired a magical blast when suddenly a barrier appeared.
"Oh no you don't!" Zatanna said emerging from below the ship.
Looking around Klarion saw Katanna, Ms. Marvel and Batgirl emerge to help surround him.
"Bet you guys are glad I tagged along now." Ms. Marvel said.
Throwing his shield, Captain America knocks Klarion back allowing the civilians to run away.
"Surround him!" Cap orders as they charged in.
Growling Teekl grows largely in size before leaping at them.
Firing bataraangs, Batgirl rolls out of the way avoiding being swiped.
"Come and get it furball!" Batgirl said slipping what looked like brass knuckles.
Teekl leaps at her when electricity came from her knuckles allowing her to punch that thing away.
"Embiggen!" Ms. Marvel swings her arm which stretches forcing Teekl to leap up only for Katanna to leap in and kick it to the ground.
Moving in Zatanna fires a magical blast at Klarion but he deflects the attack allowing Cap and Wonder Woman to charge in and knock him back.
Swinging his spear, Klarion knocks Captain America to the ground but before he could strike Wonder Woman throws her shield knocking him back.
Getting up, Captain America punches Klarion multiple times before delivering a jump kick to the face.
"Ekat sih raeps!" Zatanna said as a magical force yanks Klarion's spear out of his hand.
Nearby, Katana leaps on Teekl's back and tries to bring down the wild cat but it was growling trying to throw her off.
Taking out her grappling gun, Batgirl ties up Teekly's legs making it fall.
"Down kitty!" Ms. Marvel said grabbing the cat by the head.
"These guys are everywhere." Daredevil said when suddenly his PA was hacked to play rock music.
"We'll take it from here." A familiar voice said.
Looking up everyone saw Iron Man and Supergirl fly in and blast Klarion to the ground.
Landing Iron Man aims tons of weapons at Klarion while Supergirl's eyes glowed.
"Make your move Wizard boy." Iron Man said as the others ran over to surround them.
Slowly Klarion puts his hands up in surrender.
"Good move." Iron Man said as the ship flew in.
"Took you guys long enough." Captain America said.
"I think the word you're looking for is thank you." Iron Man said.
Soon they were all on a ship flying through a cloudy sky.
In the front, Daredevil and the pilot were talking to Fury.
"Is he saying anything?" Fury asks.
"Not a word." Daredevil said.
"Just get him here, we're low on time." Fury said.
"You guys got here pretty quick." Wonder Woman said.
"Yeah good thing Iron Man got the briefing." Supergirl said.
"Where are the others?" Batgirl asks.
"Spider-Man's gathering the others. He wanted everyone he picked to join us." Supergirl said when she noticed Ms. Marvel. "I don't remember him recruiting you."
"Yeah I uh…kinda recruited myself." Ms. Marvel said.
"I don't like this." Captain America said.
"What Harry Potter gone bad giving up so easily?" Iron Man asks.
"I don't remember it being that easy. The kid packs a punch." Cap said.
"Well between being a capsicle, your honeymoon and father/daughter time who could blame you for needing some help." Iron Man smirks.
As they flew over a mountain range, they suddenly heard thunder and lightning.
"Where's this coming from?" Katana asks looking up.
"The weather didn't say anything about this." Batgirl said.
Looking up Klarion growls. "Oh great one of those." He rolls his eyes.
"What are you babbling about?" Daredevil asks when suddenly thunder roared and someone landed on the hood of the ship startling everyone.
"We got company." Iron Man said opening the exit hatch.
"What are you doing?" Wonder Woman asks when suddenly Thor drops in.
"Uh who is that?" Supergirl asks.
"Doesn't matter." Iron Man raises his hand to attack but Thor throws his hammer knocking him into Ms. Marvel and Zatanna.
Looking to Klarion he grabs him.
"You're coming with me." Thor said as he and Klarion leap out.
"That was an Asgardian." Wonder Woman gasps.
"Is he friendly?" Batgirl asks.
"Doesn't matter. If he frees Klarion or kills him the Tesseract's lost. You kids keep an eye on furball in case he tries anything." Iron Man said standing up.
"Stark we need a plan of attack!" Captain America said.
"I have a plan. Attack!" Iron Man said flying out.
Groaning annoyed Cap grabs a parachute.
"Dad I wouldn't go out there. An Asgardian are from legends like Themyscria, they're basically gods." Wonder Woman said.
"There's only one god, sweetie. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that." He said grabbing his shield and leaping off.
"What should we do? Should we help?" Supergirl asks.
"No, my mother warned of tales of the Asgardians. They're extremely dangerous and powerful warriors. If we join them we'd only get in the way." Wonder Woman said.
"Oh man where's Spidey when you need him?" Ms. Marvel asks.
Down below on the mountain range, Thor drops Klarion on the rocks hard.
"Where is the Tesseract?" Thor asks as Klarion chuckles.
"Since when do Asgardians take an interest in earth problems?" Klarion smiles.
"Do I look like I'm in a gaming mood? My friend seeked my help and summoned me to bring you down and find the Tesseract and I intend to honor his request." Thor said as Klarion stood up.
"You don't scare me. I've seen the true power of the Tesseract and when I unleash it—"
"Who showed you this power? Who controls you?" Thor interrupts.
"Sorry not sorry but I'm not in a sharing mood. You want the cube but I've sent it off. I don't know where." Klarion smirks.
Growling Thor holds out his hand and his hammer flew into it.
"Listen boy." Thor said when suddenly Iron Man tackles him taking him away.
"I'm listening." Klarion smirks.
Tumbling into the forest, Thor pushes Iron Man off.
"Don't touch me." Thor growls.
"Then don't touch my stuff." Iron Man said.
"You have no idea what you're dealing with." Thor said.
Looking around Iron Man shrugs. "Shakespeare in the park? Doth mother know you wearth her drapes?"
"I have someone counting on me to bring him in. This is beyond you metal man." Thor said.
"Maybe him, but what about me?" A voice said.
Looking over the hill they saw emerging from the forest, Logan but he was wearing a yellow and blue suit with a black mask on his face.
"And pray tell what are you?" Thor asks.
"I'm the Wolverine. Now if you don't want to get on my bad side you'll hand over Klarion to me right now." Wolverine threatens.
"Well you're not the backup I was hoping for but you'll do for now." Iron Man said charging in but Thor threw his hammer knocking Iron Man into a tree.
"Fancy toy." Wolverine said as Thor turns to him.
"You're next." Thor said throwing his hammer at him.
"Hardly!" Sliding on the ground Wolverine dodges the attack and kicks Thor in the chest.
Stumbling back, Thor looks to see Wolverine charging in and from his left-hand claws came out.
Jumping back Thor dodges Wolverine's slash attacks before rolling out of the way only for Wolverine to grab him by his red cape.
"Oh no you don't!" Yanking him in, Wolverine throws the cape over Thor's face before punching multiple times.
Flipping the cape up Thor sees Wolverine nail him in the face with a powerful right hook.
Falling back, Wolverine dives in only for Thor to swing his hammer and knock him through multiple trees and to the ground.
"Ouch." Klarion winces loving this. The heroes were literally tearing each other apart.
Moving in Thor was about to attack Wolverine when Iron Man rams into him knocking him away.
Raising his hammer, Thor made a huge lightning bolt appear before firing it at Iron Man zapping him.
"Power at 400% capacity." Jarvis said getting his attention.
"How about that." Iron Man said liking this.
As Wolverine gets up Iron Man fires a powerful blast knocking Thor back.
Rushing in Iron Man and Thor exchange punches and kicks before Thor grabs Iron Man by the arms and starts to crush him.
Moving in Wolverine grows his claws and slashes Thor causing him to scream allowing Iron Man to overpower him and throw him into a tree.
"Nice trick." Iron Man said.
"I am gonna enjoy ripping him apart." Wolverine said claws at the ready.
Flying in Iron Man attacks but Thor blocks it and swings his hammer knocking Iron Man to the ground.
As Wolverine leaps in with his claws, Thor blocks with his hammer causing sparks to fly as they clashed before they locked.
"Hey!" Flying in Cap's shield bounces in between them before flying back to him. "That's enough."
"Well look who showed up." Wolverine said.
"Good to see you made it." Captain America said before looking at Thor. "Look I don't know what you're doing here." Captain America said.
"I've come to put a stop to the Witch Boy's scheme." Thor said.
"Then prove it. Put the hammer down." Captain America said.
"Bad idea." Wolverine said.
"Yeah he really likes his hammer." Iron Man said as Thor swings at them but Wolverine ducks making it hit Iron Man.
"You want me to put the hammer down?" Thor leaps in about to bring it down on Cap when suddenly a web shot in stopping him.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! What is going on here?!" Looking over they saw Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Iron Fist and Brian Banner walking out of a portal.
"Spider-Man?" Thor said breaking free.
"Thor stop these guys are friendly." Spider-Man said running over to him. "These are the friends I told you about."
"You know this guy?" Iron Man asks getting up.
"Of course I do, I recruited him." Spider-Man said.
"Yet you forgot to find the time to fill this guy in on who else was on the team?" Wolverine asks.
"Hey do you have any idea how long it takes to figure out a way to call someone from another world? Don't exactly get cell service in Asgard." Spider-Man said.
As the others and Daredevil's ship dropped in to pick them and Klarion up Iron Man looked around and only one thing came to mind.
"Wow, Spidey you might have gone a little overboard with the recruiting." Iron Man said.
As Klarion was being gathered he looked at Brian with interest before being taken away.
On the SHIELD Helicarrier, Klarion and his cat were being put into a large container cell when Fury walks in.
"In case you got any bright ideas about trying to escape. If you or your furball even scratch that glass." Fury pushes a button and an air hole opens below Klarion. "I get that for you magic folk science isn't your strong point, but that is 30,000 feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" Fury asks closing it.
Instantly Klarion chuckles. "Impressive cage, but it's a little much for me."
"This was meant for something much stronger than you." Fury glares.
"You must be truly desperate to stop me. With the Justice League off world you scraped the bottom of the barrel to get whatever excuse you could find for heroes." Klarion said.
"How desperate am I? You threaten my world, you use a force whose power you cannot control, kill because it's fun and expect everyone to listen to you. I am very desperate, and you do not want to see me when I am." Fury threatens.
"Funny I was gonna say the same thing. You don't have the power to stop this. You had the tesseract once and what did you want to do with it? A warm light for mankind to share? You don't even know what real power is." Klarion smirks.
"Let me know if "real power" wants a magazine or something." Fury said mocks walking out.
Zooming out we see all the Avengers except Tony watching this.
"I hate him so much." Zee growls.
"Klarion's gonna drag this out. What's his plan?" Steve asks.
"He has an army called the Chitarui." Thor said.
"I've never heard of those guys." Kara said.
"They're not of Asgard or any other world known. He plans to lead an army against your people and they will win him the Earth." Thor said.
"And since the Justice League is off world he's got a clear shot at doing it." Dr. Strange said.
"He's put a lot of thought into this plan. Clearly, he's not working alone." Barbara said.
"And that's why he took Johnny." Daredevil said getting their attention. "Johnny's a knucklehead but if there's one thing he knows really well it's space."
"Then why did he let us capture him so easily?" Diana asks.
"A snake only strikes when it knows its prey is vulnerable." Danny said.
"Meaning he's waiting for something." Jaden said.
"He can't lead an army from here. He must have something in mind." T'Challa said.
"Well then let's go grab that little brat and get that cube information off him." Logan said walking in with a bottle of beer.
"Uh we don't allow drinking in Maria calls out." Maria said.
"Don't work for you." Logan reminds taking a sip and sitting down.
"I wouldn't take a chance talking to Klarion you can smell the crazy coming from him." Brian said.
"During our battle, he had your friend Johnny and some fellow agents steal some Iridium what is that?" Tatsu asks when Tony and Phil walk in.
"It's a stabilizing agent. With that Klarion can open a portal and keep it as wide and as open for as long as Klarion wants." Tony said walking to the front and looks at the big team around the table.
"Yeah you definitely went overboard with the recruiting Jaden. You should have kept it small." Tony said.
"Hey I thought I made the right calls." Jaden said.
"You're the bonehead who recruited everyone here? Geez what was going through your head? Did pick all your classmates so you could be popular?" Daredevil asks.
"I'm sorry who the heck are you to call him out?" Kamala asks.
"A SHEILD Agent and I know the agents Klarion kidnapped." Daredevil said.
"Yeah you really have no ground to stand on Kamala, you're just a stowaway." Tony said causing her to growl.
"No, no." Diana and Tatsu said stopping her.
"Look whether you like it or not Mr. Stark you told me to recruit so I did." Jaden said.
"Well depending on this goes you might find yourself relieved of that position and some cutbacks might have to be made." Tony said looking around. "Alright folks let's keep this place ship shape."
As the Agents looked to Tony they all had confused looks.
"That guy is playing Galaga." Tony points. "He thought we wouldn't notice but we did."
Pausing they all looked over.
"How does Fury look at these anyway?" Tony asks putting a hand over his eye.
"He turns." Maria said in an obvious tone.
"Seems exhausting. Anyway Storm has all the raw materials he needs but now all that's left is some high power energy that can kickstart the whole thing." Tony said looking around and places an object next to the gears on the stand.
"When did you learn nuclear astrophysics?" Maria asks.
"Last night. Did anyone read the packet?" Tony asks.
"Does Klarion need any particular kind of power source?" Kara asks.
"He'd have to heat the cube to at least 120 million kelvin just to break through the coloumb barrier." Brian said.
"Unless they've figured out how to stabilize the quantum tunneling effect." Barbara said.
"He could do that he could achieve heavy ion fusion at any reactor on the planet." Jaden said.
"Yes, this is my crew right here. People who actually speak English." Tony said grabbing the three science teens.
"Is that what they were saying?" Steve asks.
"I have no idea." Diana shrugs.
"Mr. Banner, since your father was big into quantum radiation I was hoping we could use you to help locate the cube." Fury said walking in.
"I'll do what I can but I'm not my dad." Brian said.
"Well maybe Stark, Cooper, and Gordon can assist you." Fury said.
"Maybe we can look into that spear of Klarion's I sensed lots of power coming from it." Zee said.
"You think it could related to the cube?" Daredevil asks.
"It's certainly powered by it." Thor said.
"What I want to know is he how got his hands on it." Dr. Strange said.
"Well I want to know how he turned some of my men into his personal flying monkeys." Fury said.
"I don't understand that reference." Thor said.
"I do." Steve said as everyone looked at him. "I got the reference."
"Yeah we got that. Pretty much everyone on this planet knows that reference." Logan said.
"Well Brian, Barbara lets get to work." Tony said.
"What about me?" Jaden asks.
"Uh try figuring out what to do about your extras." Tony said walking causing Jaden to grumble.
As they started talking the Agent slowly looks back to his screen and Galaga was turned back on.
In the lab, Barbara, Brian and Tony were running tests on the spear.
"Bet you're glad Jaden recruited us, huh?" Babs smirks.
"Alright kid might have picked a few good apples in the bunch but still he should have stuck with members in the single digits before going crazy." Tony said typing on the computer.
"Hey you were the one who told him to find students to recruit. Besides I like being an Avenger." Barbara said.
"So Brian you doing okay? Not feeling any anger?" Tony asks.
"Nope, family secret my dad taught me. It's how he made sure Hulk wouldn't show up all the time." Brian said.
"What is it? Yoga, mellow jazz, huge bag of weed?" Tony asks.
"Uh guys less talking more working. I'm the only one over here." Barbara calls out scanning the spear.
"Hey!" Steve calls out storming in.
"Uh oh fun police is here." Tony said.
"What the hell is your problem?" Steve said.
"What I just messing around with the kid." Tony said pointing to Brian.
"Not Brian, Jaden. Thanks to you calling him out on his picks for the team earlier Jaden's questioning all the choices he's made and he's freaking out over it." Steve said.
"Wait what?" Barbara said looking at him.
"Hey I was just trying to give him some helpful advice." Tony said.
"You gave him that recruiting job in the first place. You told him to assemble a team and that's what he did. Now you're calling him out on it?" Steve said.
"Well how was I supposed to know he was gonna go into the double digits? Should have stuck with the original 6 we saw." Tony said.
"You want a job done the way you want then do it yourself but don't call Jaden out for how he wanted to do it." Steve said.
"Yikes I see being a family man has made you pretty wound up." Tony said eating some blueberries.
"How about instead of causing new problems you focus on the current problem?" Steve suggests.
"You think I'm not? Why did Fury call us in? Why now? Why not before?" Tony asks.
"Well maybe because before we had the Justice League safety net." Barbara theorizes.
"Not a bad theory Barbara, but I think there's something more. Something Fury isn't telling us. I can't do an equation without all the variables." Tony said.
"You think Fury's hiding something?" Steve asks.
"He's a spy, he's "the" spy. His secrets have secrets. It's gotta be bugging you kids too right?" Tony asks looking at them.
"Well yeah I mean I guess. He started this project with you two and Jaden but he didn't ask for all of us until now." Barbara admits.
"I remember what Klarion said. A warm light for mankind. His jab at Fury for the cube." Brian said.
"I heard that." Steve said.
"I think it was meant for you." Brian said pointing at Tony. "Even if Johnny didn't tell Klarion about the tower it was all over the news."
"Stark Tower? That big ugly building in Metropolis?" Steve asks.
"It's powered by an Arc Reactor. That whole tower can run itself." Brian said.
"Just a prototype. Sort of made it to be like our play on the Hall of Justice. I'm sort of the only one in the clean energy business." Tony shrugs.
"So what are you getting at?" Barbara asks.
"If SHIELD was gonna use the Tesseract for that why didn't they bring him in on the project?" Brian asks.
"I should probably look into that once my decryption program finishes breaking into all of SHIELD's files." Tony said taking out a small panel.
"Wait what?" Barbara said surprised.
"When did you—" Steve starts.
"Jarvis has been running since I stepped onto the bridge. In a few hours I'll know every dirty secret SHIELD has. Blueberry?" Tony offers.
"And you wonder why they kept you at Super Hero High?" Steve glares.
"An intelligence agency that fears intelligence? Not cool." Tony said.
"Klarion is trying to take over the world. He's trying to wind us up. If we don't stay focused he'll succeed. We have orders, we should follow them." Steve said.
"Nah I choose to only follow what suits me. That's my style." Tony said.
"Look I get that we need to follow orders, but we're not mindless soldiers. We have our own way of doing things." Barbara said.
"See? She gets it." Tony said.
"But hacking into the very group that brought us together is not cool." Barbara glares.
"See." Steve said.
"Guys come on. None of this seems weird to any of you?" Brian asks.
"Just find the cube." Steve said.
Walking out, Steve pauses before looking around suspiciously.
"What are you up to?" Logans asks waiting at the end of the hall.
"Gonna do some looking around. Interested?" Steve asks.
"Beats waiting around listening to Hill lecture me." Logan said following him.
"That's the guy my dad never shut up about? Ugh when you train kids it seems fine but when you actually do work with him he's a pain. Starting to think Jaden made a bad call when he and Diana pulled him out of the ice." Tony said when Barbara closes her laptop.
"Alright that's enough out of you." Barbara snaps.
"Whoa what's going on with you?" Tony asks defensively.
"What's wrong? You've been bashing my boyfriend since we got on this ship. Believe it or not Jaden always thinks things through. He's one of the cleverest heroes I've ever met and I know he made the right choice with each and every one of us. So if you got anymore snarky comments Stark, keep it to yourself." Barbara glares getting in his face.
"Okay noted." Tony gulps as Barbara backs away and goes back to work.
"Whoa, she's scary." Brain whispers.
"Yeah Cooper's got a keeper with that one." Tony said fixing himself.
In the main room, Jaden hangs his head back annoyed as he was with his friends.
"Come on Jaden don't let what Iron Man said get to you." Zee said.
"That's just him being snarky like always." Kara said.
"It's not just him, even that Daredevil guy called me out on this. I mean what if they're right? I mean when I started, I just picked T'Challa to help me out but then Tatsu joined in." Jaden said gesturing to his first picks. "And we started off really well, I mean of us were great."
"I agree, we had phenomenal teamwork." T'Challa nods.
"Yeah and then when Granny Goodness took over I saw Diana, Kara and Barbara leap into action. Kara even though you and Babs were newbies you two stood up to Furies and saved everyone." Jaden said.
"Well I had a good teacher." Kara smiles.
"Of course, Diana I didn't need a reason. You were already Avenger material." Jaden smirks.
"Oh stop." Diana giggles.
"So what about us?" Zee asks gesturing to her and Danny.
"That's easy. When I saw you two help with the situation against Nightmare I knew having magic experts on our team would be a great idea." Jaden said.
"Don't forget Dr. Strange and Thor." Kamala said sitting next to him. "I mean come on so you added some more than they thought. I mean look at everyone here. I may not be an Avenger but I think you made some pretty good choices."
"You think so?" Jaden asks.
"Yeah." They all smile.
"Well then this might make it harder. If Mr. Stark asks me to take some of you off things might be ugly because I don't think I could kick any of you off the team." Jaden said.
"Do not worry for future battles when the present one has yet to be won." Danny said.
"Thanks guys." Jaden smiles before looking to Kamala. "Kamala I know you weren't supposed to be here but right I'm glad you are."
"Aw stop you're gonna make me blush." Kamala giggles.
"Your allies are very loyal to you Spider-Man." Thor said leaning against the wall. "I can tell they all appreciate you reaching out to them."
"Good to know someone does." Jaden chuckles. "Thanks for coming."
"You helped save Asgard. It's only fitting I repay my debt and help save yours." Thor said.
"It's sad how our worlds can seem so different but are so similar." T'Challa said.
"Yes people like Klarion or Loki they show up causing trouble like Bilge Snipe." Thor said confusing them.
"A what?" Kara asks.
"Bilge Snipe. You know, huge, scaly, big antlers? You don't have those?" Thor asks.
"No." They all shook their heads.
"Not in Themyscria." Diana said.
"And definitely not on Krypton." Kara said.
"Well then you are fortunate, they are repulsive and trample everything in their path." Thor said.
"Noted." Kamala said.
In the lower level, Steve and Logan were making their way to a door when Logan plunges his claws in to pry open the door.
"Just like old times eh Logan?" Steve asks.
"For me, for you it must feel like only a few weeks ago." Logan said entering the room.
Looking inside they see tons of long metal containers.
"Okay now it feels like old times." Logan said neither one liking where this was going.
In the detention level, Klarion and Teekl sat around when Dr. Strange enters the room.
"Well this is a surprise." Klarion said seeing him. "The Sorcerer Supreme as I live in breath. I suppose I should be honored."
"Shove it Klarion. You are disgrace to all true magic wielders." Dr. Strange glares. "How did you get your hands on it?"
"The Tesseract? I got it from a friend who stole it from these people, the mortals don't know it but I bet you know its proper name." Klarion smirks.
"One of the Six most powerful objects in the world." Dr. Strange narrows his eyes. "Mark my words, Klarion we get that stone."
"There's no way you and your little brats can take it from me." Klarion mocks.
"Try me, Beyoncé." Dr. Strange said.
"Huh?" Klarion asks confused.
"Come on, you've heard of her she's a huge star." Dr. Strange said.
"Nope." Klarion said as he and his cat shook their heads.
"Oh god you really the worst. I should pull that switch and make you plummet just for that." Dr. Strange said.
"Wouldn't be the dumbest thing someone's done." Turning around Dr. Strange and Klarion saw Daredevil in the room.
"Hmm not many people can sneak up on me." Dr. Strange said impressed.
"If it's alright mister—" Daredevil starts.
"Doctor." Dr. Strange corrects.
"Whatever, I'd like to have a word with the prisoner." Daredevil said.
"I thought Fury would send a negotiator after my torture." Klarion said.
"What did you do to Johnny?" Daredevil glares.
"Worried for your friend?" Klarion asks.
"Hardly, in this line of work friends don't last long, he's just one of the more decent agents I've come to tolerate." Daredevil crosses his arms.
"Is that right? Well let me tell you something, you may think you're all better than me but you're not. You lie and kill in the service of others but you think it's right so it makes it easier. You pretend to be separate, to have your own code in order to cover up the mistakes of your past, but they don't go away. Let me tell you something. Once I have your friend destroy you all in every way possible only then will I release him from his spell so that he can look at the horror with his own eyes." Klarion declares causing Daredevil to look away.
"You are a monster." Daredevil said.
"No, you brought the monster." Klarion said.
"So, that's your plan." Daredevil said turning around completely fine.
"What? You were afraid." Klarion said.
"I'm never afraid." Daredevil said turning on his commlink. "Fury, Klarion intends to do something to the Hulk, keep an eye on Banner, get the others too. Com on Doctor."
"Wow that kid totally fooled you, Klarion." Dr. Strange chuckles following him out.
In the lab, Jaden, T'Challa, Danny, Diana, Kara, Zee, Kamala, and Tatsu were sitting with Barbara, Tony and Brian when Fury storms in.
"What are you all doing?" Fury asks.
"Uh kind of been wondering the same thing about you." Tony said.
"You're supposed to be locating the Tesseract." Fury said.
"And we are. It's all set up." Barbara points to the screen. "It's sweeping the whole planet. When it finds it we'll be alerted."
"But Mr. Stark brought something very interesting to our attention." Jaden said when a file appears next to Tony.
"What's Phase 2?" Tony asks when Logan and Steve toss a high tech gun on the table.
"Phase 2 is taking a page from HYDRA's playbook." Logan growls.
"They plan to use the cube to make weapons." Steve said.
"Care to explain?" Diana asks.
"Rogers, we gathered everything related to the cube that does not mean—"
"Uh hold that thought." Tony interrupts as he shows them a blue print of the Tesseract being put into a missile.
"Care to explain this one?" Jaden asks.
"It's World War 2 all over again." Steve said as Daredevil, Thor and Dr. Strange walked in.
"You owe us an explanation Fury. Why is SHIELD building weapons of mass destruction?" Barbara asks.
"Because of her." Fury said pointing to Kara.
"Me?" Kara asks surprised.
"Once your cousin Superman came into the spotlight we learned not only are we not alone in this universe but we are hopelessly outgunned. Once we learned of Krypton more and more unique individuals appeared as well." Fury said.
"We'd never hurt you guys." Kara said.
"Nor us." Thor said.
"But you guys aren't the only people out there are you? And you're not the only threats. The world is constantly filling up with people who cannot be matched, they can't be controlled." Fury explains.
"Like you with the cube before Klarion got it?" Zee asks.
"By using the Tesseract you could alert threats even worse than Klarion the earth for war." Thor said.
"Our hand was forced." Fury said.
"And your answer to that is a nuclear bomb." Logan glares.
"Yeah that'll calm things down." Tony said.
"Uh are you forgetting how your company got rich?" Tatsu glares.
"Whoa how is this now about me?" Tony asks.
"When isn't it about you?" Barbara said.
"Seriously. It's hard to find a time when you ever not talk." Diana said.
"Hey Cap tell your kid to zip it." Tony said.
"How about you zip it?" Steve glares.
"I can't believe you used us like this." T'Challa said.
"I thought you were more evolved than this." Thor said as they all started arguing.
Little did they know the spear behind them was glowing.
On a SHIELD Ship in the distance, Johnny and the other SHIELD Agents were nearing the Helicarrier.
"Flame on." Johnny said igniting in flames ready to attack.
Back inside the Avengers were still arguing.
"You know I'm starting to think all this was a mistake." T'Challa said.
"You talk of peace but you court chaos." Thor said.
"What you think we're some kind of team? Hardly. We're like a time bomb." Brian said.
"Well blame Cooper for that. He's the one who picked you all to come here." Tony said.
"Oh shut up!" Zee snaps.
"You made me the recruiter and I did my job so put a sock in it metal head!" Jaden said.
"Hey you're the idiot. You brought a Hulk onto the hellicarrier." Daredevil said.
"I trust Brian which is more than I can say for you." Jaden said.
"We actuall respect Jaden's judgement." Danny glares.
"Instead of blaming the kid why don't you try taking some responsibility." Steve said.
"Stark take responsibility? Yeah that's a good one." Strange mocks.
"You know I'm starting to want you to make me." Tony glares.
"Oh is that right? Big man in a suit of armor. Take away the suit what are you?" Steve asks.
"Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist." Tony lists.
"Hmm not bad." Kamala admits.
"There are people with none of that worth 10 of you. The only thing you've ever truly fought for is yourself. That's why you gave Jaden the recruiting job, when it blows up he gets the blame. You're not the kind of guy to make the sacrifice. To lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you." Steve said.
"I think I would just cut the wire." Tony said.
"Always a way out. You may not be a threat but don't think you're a real hero." Steve said.
"Oh like you? You're a lab experiment, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle." Tony said.
"You know what, put on the suit let's go a few rounds." Steve declares causing Thor to laugh.
"You people are so tiny and petty." Thor smiles.
"Like you're one to talk after we helped you during your frog incident." T'Challa said.
"You know what how I take another swing at you." Logan growls.
"You know what there's a reason the Justice League is the only group. Any more hero teams and it gets crazy." Kara said.
"Don't worry Brian I'm not gonna let them take you." Jaden said.
"You intend to stop us?" Daredevil asks.
"Oh yeah." Jaden said as Daredevil causing Brian to growl.
"Hey back off my pal!" Brian said getting everyone's attention.
"Brian…put down the scepter." Diana said as Brian looks to see he was holding the scepter in his hands.
Before anyone could do anything they heard a beeping meaning the Tesseract was found.
"The Tesseract." Brian said walking to the monitor.
"It's been located." Fury said.
"I'll fly ahead." Tony said.
"I'm coming too." Kara said.
"Time to suit up everyone." Jaden said as they put on their masks and grabbed their gear.
"You're not going after it alone." Steve said stopping Tony.
"You gonna stop me?" Tony asks.
"Put on the suit." Steve said when an explosion went off knocking everyone down and knocking Brian and Daredevil down a level and causing the scepter to fly in and touch Jaden in the chest causing his eyes to glow.
Groaning Steve, Tony and Logan got up.
"Put on the suit." Logan said putting on his mask.
"Yeah good idea." Tony said as the three of them ran out to help.
Groaning everyone looks to see Jaden holding the scepter.
"Cooper put that down." Fury said when Spider-Man touches Iron Fist, Katana and Wonder Woman putting them under the control as well.
"No!" Steve gasps as Batgirl knocks the scepter out of Spidey's hands allowing the three heroes to run out.
"They're going to free Klarion!" Batgirl gasps.
"Stop them!" Fury said.
"It's the scepter, it put them under some magic control." Strange said.
"Well figure out how to undo it! Hang on Jaden!" Kara said as they ran out.
"Hill?" Fury asks through his commlink.
"External damage, number 3 engine is down. Turbine is mostly intact but we can't do any repairs to it because we're in the air. Somebody has to get outside and patch the engine." Hill said.
"Stark do you copy?" Fury asks.
"On it!" Tony said.
"Everyone get to the armory and guard the detention center. Strange I need a hand!" Fury said as Dr. Strange ran out with him.
Down below, Daredevil took out his baton and whacks away the wreckage.
"Ugh man this job is a pain." Daredevil groans. "Hey Banner you awake?"
Looking over he saw Brian growling in anger. "I warned you."
"Oh boy." Daredevil said as he quickly got out of the way as Hulk roared causing everyone to gasp while Klarion grins.
Up above, Human Torch and the possessed agents made their way down.
In the hanger, Tony, Wolverine and Captain America made their way down.
"You two go up ahead. I'll meet you at the engine." Tony said opening up a case revealing his Iron Man suit.
"Logan, remember when I was confused why you didn't you want to join SHIELD?" Captain America asks.
"Yeah?" Wolverine asks.
"I get it now." He growls as they ran ahead.
In another part of the ship, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Katana and Iron Fist were running down the hall into a large hanger when a batarrang flew in stopping them.
Looking ahead they saw Batgirl, Black Panther, Zatanna, Ms. Marvel and Supergirl blocking their path.
"Not another step." Batgirl said.
"We won't let you guys become Klarion's puppets." Zatanna said as the possessed Avengers took fighting positions.
"Go easy on them, they're still our friends." Black Panther said as Spider-Man fires a web at Supergirl but she flew out of the way.
"But they want to hurt us!" Supergirl said as Spider-Man swings at her forcing her to block.
Drawing her sword, Katana charged in at Black Panther who blocks with his claws.
Jumping back, Black Panther dodges her swing before moving in and elbowing her in the chest before kicking her.
Nearby Batgirl was throwing multiple Bataraangs at Wonder Woman who blocked with her shield.
"Embiggen!" Leaping in Ms. Marvel swings a giant fist knocking Wonder Woman back across the rail.
With a glowing fist, Iron Fist attacks Zatanna who rolls out of the way.
Taking off her hat, Zatanna fires multiple blasts from it forcing Iron Fist to dodge.
Finally, Supergirl was flying around when Spider-Man fires a web hitting her foot allowing him to yank her down.
Turning around Supergirl sees Spider-Man charge in.
"Jaden I love you and I am so sorry for this." Supergirl said blocking his attack and punching him sending Spider-Man crashing into some crates.
Cringing Supergirl feared the worst when Spider-Man got up and fires a web at her forcing her to dodge.
In the main control room, Fury and Dr. Strange run in.
"Bring the carrier south! Get us to water!" Fury orders.
"Sir, our navigation is recalibrating after the engine. We're flying blind." An agent said.
"Is the sun coming up?" Fury asks.
"Yes sir." He said nervously.
"Then put it on the left. Get us over water. One more turbine goes down and we drop." Fury said when a bullet flew in.
Looking up Dr. Strange saw the Possessed Agents aiming their weapons.
"Fury focus on the controls. I got this." Dr. Strange said as magic circles appeared in his hands.
Aiming their guns all the agents fired but Dr. Strange made a giant barrier blocking the attacks.
Down below near the engine, Wolverine and Captain America were running to the end where a giant hole in the ship was.
"Oh boy." Captain America said.
"Stark! Get your metal rear out here now!" Wolverine said as Iron Man flew in.
"I'm here! Let's see what we got." Iron Man said examining the wreckage. "Gotta get this coolant system back online and then get rid of the debris." Iron Man said before turning to them. "I need you to that engine control panel and tell me which relays are in overload position."
Taking off Iron Man flew to the turbine.
"Did you understand anything he said?" Captain America asks looking to Wolverine.
"Do I look like the kind of person who knows this kind of tech crap?" Wolverine asks.
"No." Captain America said.
"You just answered your own question. Now shut up and move or we're all going down!" Wolverine orders.
"Give me a boost." Captain America said stepping back for a running start.
Running to him, Wolverine grabs Captain America and throws him across the wreckage landing him next to the panel.
"What does it look like in there?" Iron Man asks as Captain America looks at it totally confused.
"It appears to run on some kind of electricity." He said.
"No shit Sherlock!" Wolverine yells.
"Oh boy." Iron Man said seeing he would have to talk him through it.
On the lower level, Daredevil was dodging Hulk's attacks.
"Come on Banner, ever think of Anger Management classes?" Daredevil growls whacking Hulk with his baton but Hulk grabs it surprising him.
Roaring Hulk swings his arm knocking Daredevil to the ground.
"Hulk Smash!" Hulk roars about to move in when suddenly Thor tackles Hulk through the walls knocking them both to the ground.
As both warriors got up all the SHIELD workers ran for their lives to get away.
"Banner don't make me hurt you." Thor said.
"No Banner, Hulk!" Hulk roars swinging his fists but Thor dodges the attacks and lands several punches.
"We are not your enemies!" Thor said as Hulk swings a fist knocking Thor into a crate.
In another part, Wonder Woman swings her lasso at Ms. Marvel wrapping around her foot allowing Wonder Woman to yank her in and slam her to the ground before swinging her into the wall.
Pulling the lasso with all her might, Ms. Marvel is yanked in only for Batgirl to fire her grappling gun allowing her to swing in and kick Wonder Woman to the ground.
Taking out a bataarang, Batgirl cuts Ms. Marvel free.
"How you holding up?" Batgirl asks helping her up.
"Good thing I spar with Diana frequently." Ms. Marvel pants as Wonder Woman got up.
Blocking Katana's sword, Black Panther kicks the handle making it fall to the ground.
Growling, Katana pushes back and kicks Black Panther making him fall down.
Taking out a kunai, Katana stabs down only for Black Panther to roll out of the way as she ends up stabbing the ground.
Leaping back up, Black Panther swings his claws forcing Katana to block with her kunai as sparks fly.
Bringing both down they slice the kunai in half allowing him to knock her to the ground.
Nearby Zatanna fired a magical blast at Iron First who destroys it with a glowing fist.
"Niartser mih!" Zatanna said as metal plates came out of the ground and wrapped around Iron Fist restraining him.
"Danny it's me! Your friend!" Zatanna said but Iron Fist broke free and sent her tumbling back.
"They're not listening to us!" Ms. Marvel calls out.
"There has to be a way to snap them out of it." Supergirl said as Spider-Man grew his stingers.
Using her super breath, Supergirl sent Spider-Man flying backwards.
Acting quickly Spider-Man fired a web allowing him to swing up and dive down kicking Supergirl in the chest making him tumble.
As Spider-Man crawls along the wall Supergirl fires heat vision making him leap off and tumble to the ground.
"Wait a minute, this is all magic right? So that means we can cancel it out!" Ms. Marvel said as everyone looks to Zatanna.
"I need time and I can't shake Iron Fist!" Zatanna said dodging Iron Fist.
"Stall until Zatanna's ready!" Batgirl orders as she ran to her side and threw bataarangs forcing Iron Fist to dodge.
As Human Torch was causing fires around the helicarrier he was about to move in when he was suddenly knocked down onto a railing.
Recovering Human Torch looks to see Daredevil glaring at him.
"Been a while since you and I fought." Daredevil said readying his baton as Human Torch's fists ignite in flames.
Charging in both Agents clash, as Human Torch fires a stream of flames but Daredevil pole vaults over and whacks him with his baton.
Shaking it off Human Torch looks to Daredevil and swings his flaming fist forcing Daredevil to dodge to avoid getting burned.
Leaping in Daredevil swings his baton but Human Torch dodges and nails him in the chest knocking him to the ground.
"I am not losing another agent on the job!" Daredevil roars splitting his baton in half before whacking Human Torch multiple times knocking him to the ground.
Outside the helicarrier, Iron Man cleared away all the debris.
"Okay the relays are intact. What's our next move?" Captain America said.
"Even if I clear the rotors this thing won't work without a jump start. I'm gonna have to go in there and push." Iron Man said.
"Are you insane? Once it gets up to speed you'll get shredded to pieces." Wolverine said.
"That stator control unit can reverse the polarity long enough to disengage the maglev and…"
"Speak English!" Captain America said.
"Do either of you see a red lever? Pull it and it'll give me enough time to get out." Iron Man said as Captain America sees the lever but when he jumps to it two Possessed Agents came out.
"Don't even think about it." Both Agents look to see Wolverine grow both sets of claws. "I have had a really bad day so don't mess with me."
In the hangar, Thor is thrown to the ground by Hulk.
Shaking it off, Thor looks to see Hulk charging towards him.
Growling Thor holds out his hand and from another part of the ship his hammer flew in allowing him to whack Hulk in the face knocking him into a jet breaking off a wing.
Spinning his hammer, Thor charged in.
Grabbing the wing, Hulk throws it at him but Thor threw his hammer shattering the wing and making Hulk fall back.
Reaching over Hulk tried to lift the hammer but couldn't even lift it off the ground.
"Why hammer not move?" Hulk asks.
Using this chance, Thor ran in and tackles Hulk pulling the hammer towards him Thor wraps it around Hulk's neck to put him in the choke hold.
Growling Hulk struggles to break free.
"You're not a monster! Spider-Man picked you for a reason!" Thor yells causing Hulk to stop.
"Spidey." Hulk said as he slowly lowered his arms.
"He didn't see a monster, he saw a hero." Thor said as Hulk started to calm down.
Seeing this Thor slowly let go.
"You okay big guy?" Thor asks.
"Hulk no want to make friend sad. Spider-Man, friend." Hulk said.
"Yeah, yeah he's my friend too." Thor said turning to him. "And right now, he needs to be a team and help everyone. Call this match a draw for now?"
"Hulk had you beat." Hulk points.
"Sure you did big guy." Thor chuckles when they heard the alarm go off on the prison level.
Looking to each other both ran fast as they could.
Little did they know Coulson heard it to was grabbing something from a locked case.
From the outside, the possessed Agent flying the ship saw Hulk and Thor running along the glass windows.
Aiming at them, he fired causing both heroes to duck for cover.
"Go! Help Spidey!" Hulk yells.
"What about you?" Thor asks as Hulk turns to ship and charged taking the hits before leaping out the window and ripping the ship apart forcing the agent to eject but resulted in Hulk plummeting to the ground below.
"Your sacrifice will not be in vain." Thor said running after Klarion.
In the hanger, Dr. Strange flicks his hand creating an Eldritch whip knocking two agents to the ground.
As the other four fired at the distracted Agents, Dr. Strange makes a portal that the bullets go through before he attacks forcing them to retreat.
"Strange what's taking so long?" Hill asks.
"Oh I'm sorry it's taking so long to fight off mind controlled agents while making sure you people stay alive to keep us from plummeting to our deaths." Strange growls turning them. "Crimson Chains of Cyttorak!"
Flying out multiple chains wrapped around the remaining agents preventing them from moving.
"You people do your job and I'll do mine!" Dr. Strange said firing magical blasts knocking them all to the ground.
Outside, Iron Man was trying to restart the engine.
"Stark, we're losing altitude!" Fury said.
"Yeah I can tell." Iron Man said getting the turbine spinning.
Nearby, Captain America was firing a machine gun at the enemy agents as they fired at Wolverine.
Dodging the attacks, Wolverine moves in and slashes one knocking him to the ground but the other fires at his feet making the ground break causing him to leap up and grab onto the ledge Captain America was.
"I got ya!" Captain America said grabbing his arm forcing him to step away from the lever.
Down in the detention center, Thor ran in to see Klarion walking out.
"No!" Thor yells charging in only for Klarion to disappear causing Thor to fall into the cell.
Getting up Thor sees Klarion by the controls.
"Guess they couldn't find one of the smarter Asgardians." Klarion mocks as Thor bangs his hammer against the glass causing the cage to loosen giving Klarion an idea. "You know I heard you guys are immortal. How about we test that?"
But before he could flip the switch the possessed Agent was knocked out.
Looking over they saw Phil holding a giant gun. "Move away please."
Slowly, Klarion steps back as Phil walks forward not realizing Teekl wasn't there.
"Like this? We started working on the prototype after Eclipso's attack. Even I don't know what it does. You want to find out?" Phil asks when Teekl leaps in behind Phil and slashes him with the scepter causing to bleed.
"No!" Thor yells as Klarion picks up the scepter.
"Good kitty." Klarion smiles walking back to the controls. "Now where were we?" Flipping the switch, the hatch under Thor opens before pressing the button causing Thor to drop out of the helicarrier.
Tumbling around Thor tried to escape but it was difficult finding your gravity as you plummeted to the ground.
Pressing his feet to the glass, Thor took a stance and leaped at the crack he made shattering it allowing him to escape before it crashed to the ground.
Up above, Klarion smiles at his victory.
"You're going to lose." Phil said getting his attention.
"Is that right?" Klarion mocks.
"You're a villain, it's in your nature." Phil said.
"The Justice League is worlds away and what have left are scattered, not to mention your fortress is falling from the sky. Where is my disadvantage?" Klarion asks walking to him.
"You lack conviction." Phil said.
"Let me make something clear you worthless—" Clicking the trigger, Phil blasts Klarion from close range with a powerful energy blast making him crash down the hall.
"So that's what it does." Phil said impressed.
In the hanger, Zatanna was gathering magic as the fights erupted.
Swinging her shield, Wonder Woman whacks Ms. Marvel backwards.
"Zatanna, any time now." Ms. Marvel said as Wonder Woman leaps at her.
Using the same move from back at school, Ms. Marvel grabs Wonder Woman's arm and judo throws her to the ground.
Nearby Supergirl had Spider-Man in a full nelson, Black Panther had Katana pinned to the ground and Batgirl had Iron Fist tied up.
"Esaeler meht morf lortnoc!" Zatanna said as beams of magic hit all four heroes in the head snapping them out of it.
"Ugh my head." Katana groans.
"What happened?" Spider-Man asks.
"And why do you guys have us pinned like this?" Wonder Woman asks.
"Long story short, you guys were under control but we saved you." Zatanna said.
"To fall under the enemy's control like that." Iron Fist said ashamed.
"Good thing Ms. Marvel had the idea to free you guys." Batgirl said.
"This was your idea?" Spider-Man asks looking to her.
"Well…yeah." Ms. Marvel nods.
"Thank you." Spider-Man said.
In the other corridor, Human Torch and Daredevil were exchanging quick blows trying to overpower the other.
Grappling, Human Torch made his hands glow with flames burning Daredevil.
Growling, Daredevil cringed through the pain before putting the baton back together and whacking Human Torch in the face making him bang his head against the rail snapping him out of it.
"Johnny?" Daredevil asks as his flames disappeared.
"Good to see you're back." Daredevil said helping him.
"Oh god what did I do this time?" Johnny asks as Daredevil took off his mask.
"I'll explain later." Matthew sighs.
Outside the helicarrier was beginning to descend. Near the engine, Iron Man was flying as fast as he could getting the engine working again.
"Yes!" Iron Man said as the ship began to rise.
"Cap I need that lever!" Iron Man yells.
"Need a minute!" Captain America yells as Wolverine was dangling and the agent was shooting at them.
"Lever! Now!" Iron Man said as the engine started to catch up and he smashed into it. "Uh oh."
"Logan I got an idea, but you gotta take him out quick." Captain America said.
"Just give me a good swing!" Wolverine said as Captain America swung his arm back and forth before throwing him across.
As the Agent fired at him Wolverine lunges in and slashes the machine gun in half before stabbing him in the chest.
Moving in, Captain America pulls the lever allowing Iron Man to escape.
At the Detention area, Fury runs in to see Phil on the ground bleeding.
"Sorry boss, the witch boy rabbited." Phil said.
"You hang in there, okay. Keep your eyes on me." Fury said.
"I'm clocking out sir." Phil said when a stretcher came in.
"Not an option. You're gonna be fine." Fury said as Phil was put on.
"This was never gonna work, unless they had the proper…motivation." Phil said before he was carted away.
In the main room, the remaining Avengers were sitting around feeling like the absolute worst.
"How's Phil?" Kamala asks.
"Hanging on by a thread. We're doing everything we can but he was severely wounded." Fury said taking out some cards. "These were in Phil Coulson's jacket. Guess he never got you to sign them." Tossing them onto the table, Steve sees they were his trading cards stained with blood.
"We're dead up here. Our communications, location of the cube, Brian, Thor. I got nothing for all of you." Fury said as they all hung their heads in defeat. "I lost my one good eye. Maybe I had that coming."
"Fury, I gotta know, why?" Diana asks.
"Yes, we were going to use the Tesseract to build an arsenal but I never put all my chips on that one though because I was playing something even risker. There was an idea, Cooper knows this called the Avengers Initiate. The idea was to bring a group of remarkable people to see if they could be something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could." Fury explains.
"But we had a Justice League why did you want this so badly?" Kara asks.
"Because, as amazing as the Justice League we rely too much on them to solve our problems. For years I tried to find the perfect recruits that could get this started, but no one would. Everyone would rather fight alongside Superman than Nick Fury. Iron Man and Wolverine weren't exactly team players so asking them to start this would have been total failures. I needed to find someone who could be the first domino and set all this into motion. Then one night, I received a distress call from Superhero High saying the school was under attack and that supervillains had captured all the students and had threatened to blow it and everyone inside it to oblivion. Me and my team went into action but when we arrived I saw him. A hero not affiliated with anyone who perfectly embodied what being an Avenger was, Spider-Man." Fury declares surprising everyone especially Jaden.
"Me?" Jaden said as everyone looked at him.
"I saw you that night Jaden. This wasn't your fight but you rushed in to save everyone. You struggled, you were beaten down to near death, but through all of that you fought to ensure everyone's safety and when you saved the school and when people gathered to you I knew it right then and there, you were what I needed to assemble the Avengers and Phil Coulson believed in the Avengers even as he nears death's door." Fury declares.
Hearing this Jaden paused, Fury was right. Back when he was still a solo hero he was willing to fight the fight when no one else did. He was an Avenger before he even knew what it was.
And now Klarion comes in and messes with everything.
In an empty warehouse, Brian emerged with torn clothes.
"Hey are you okay?" Brian looks to see an elderly security guard.
"Ugh I'm fine. Did I hurt anyone?" Brian asks.
"There's no one here to hurt, but did scare the hell out of some pidgeons. Here you might need these." The guard said handing Brian some new clothes.
"Thanks." Brian said taking them.
"Are you an alien?" He asks.
"No, it's uh…condition. I get it from my dad." Brian sighs.
"Is it like a disease?" He asks.
"Depends how you look at it." Brian shrugs getting changed.
In a room, Johnny was tied to a bed with Matthew nearby.
"Ugh I remember, Klarion had me build him a device for the Tesseract." Johnny groans.
"What else?" Matthew asks.
"It was crazy. He got inside my head, used me to get that machine up and working. He put things in there, showed me how to use what I knew and do more." Johnny groans. "How did you snap me out of it?"
"I hit you really hard in the head." Matthew said.
"Thanks buddy." Johnny said as Matthew shrugs it off. "Look I know in this job agents drop like flies but I appreciate you looking out for me."
"Someone has to." Matthew said letting him go.
"Where's Klarion?" Johnny asks.
"He got away. I don't suppose you know where?" Matthew asks.
"No, I didn't ask, but I am gonna get him for this." Johnny said.
"Get in line." Matthew said.
"He's gonna make his move today. That much I do know." Johnny said.
"We need to move fast." Matthew said.
"Who's we?" Johnny asks.
"Whoever's willing to fight." Matthew said.
"I know I am." Johnny said.
In a room, Jaden enters to see everyone looking around with crushed looks.
"Any news on Phil?" Barbara asks.
"They won't tell me anything. I feel bad that this happened." Jaden said.
"This stuff happens in war." Logan said.
"It was stupid of him." Tony said.
"To do what? Fight?" Steve asks.
"To go after Klarion alone. He should have waited." Tony said.
"Well did you think maybe he knew he couldn't?" Diana asks.
"Sometimes a soldier must trust his instincts." T'Challa said.
"We are not soldiers." Tony said.
"Look we can't let this slide. We have to stop Klarion." Jaden said.
"Jaden, we don't even know where he is." Strange said.
"Only Brian saw where the cube was and he's missing." Kamala said.
"We don't have anything to go on." Kara said.
"We can't just sit here and do nothing, Klarion made this personal." Jaden said.
"That's not the point." Steve said when Tony realized something.
"Wait a minute, no he's right. That's Klarion's point. He hit us all right where we live, why?" Tony asks.
"Because Klarion loves to see his enemies suffer." Dr. Strange said.
"He wanted to stop us from forming." Danny said.
"Yeah, divide and conquer is great, but Klarion knows he only has to stop us to win, not just us all heroes. He wants to beat us and he wants everyone to know he did." Tony said.
"He wants an audience." Jaden realized.
"He already did that." Barbara said.
"We stopped him in Stuttgart." Steve said.
"No that's just the previews and this is opening night. Guys, Klarion is a full blown diva. He wants flowers, he wants parades he wants a monument built with his name plastered—" Tony said before stopping midsentence realizing something.
"Yeah what?" Zee asks confused.
"Son of a bitch I know where he is." Tony said.
In Metropolis, atop of Stark Tower, the machine with the Tesseract was set up and ready.
"And now for my audience." Klarion said aiming the scepter in the distance and firing.
At Superhero High, the Save the Day alarm went off alerting all students.
"Save the Day Alarm!" Big Barda said as all heroes ran to go save the day but when they tried a giant barrier appeared blocking all the heroes from leaving.
"What's going on?" Waller asks.
"We're trapped!" Nightwing said.
"We can't leave the school!" Hawkgirl said.
"What is going on?" Waller asks not liking this. "Someone get me some eyes out there and try to find out why."
Suddenly Klarion's face appeared on every screen in the school.
"Greeting Superhero High. Sorry but I can't have you leaving. After all you will get to see firsthand my army destroy your planet while you all are powerless to do anything." Klarion declares.
"Klarion." Waller growls.
"What are you brats doing standing around?! Do whatever you can to break that barrier down!" Grodd yells as all the heroes in the school scramble to find a way out or to help.
On the helicarrier, Wonder Woman opens a door to see Matthew.
"Time to go." Wonder Woman said.
"Go where?" Matthew asks.
"We'll tell you on the way, you know anyone who can fly one of those jets?" Wonder Woman asks when Johnny walks out of the back.
"I can." He said.
"Then you suit up." Wonder Woman said walking out.
"You ready?" Wonder Woman looks to see Jaden, Batgirl, Supergirl, Katana and Zatanna waiting for her.
"I'm not gonna lie, I'm really nervous." Wonder Woman admits.
"Me too. This isn't a common criminal; this is an alien invasion." Batgirl said.
"It's a lot to process." Katana said.
"You think we're gonna make it out of this?" Supergirl asks.
"I know we will." Jaden said getting their attention.
"How can you be sure?" Batgirl asks when Jaden grabs her and pulls her into a kiss surprising her and the others.
"If you don't want this to be the last kiss you ever get you better make sure we win." Jaden said.
Hearing this Batgirl smiles.
"I freaking love you." Batgirl said running ahead more motivated than ever.
"Wow, that sure helped." Tatsu said amazed by this.
"Hey uh any chance I can get one of those pick me up kisses?" Zatanna asks.
"Yeah me too." Supergirl asks.
"Same." Wonder Woman said.
Smiling Jaden grabs each of his girlfriends and gives them all a big kiss which they happily return.
Down the hall, Kamala was walking down putting on her mask when she looks to see Jaden kissing Zatanna on the lips.
"Whoa. Jaden?" Ms. Marvel said blown away as they separate.
"We live this, I am gonna return this kiss." Zatanna assures.
"That's what I like to hear." Jaden said as she walks away.
"Wow, looks like Iron Man isn't the only playboy on this ship." Ms. Marvel said.
"I don't know if I would go that far." Jaden blushes.
"You guys sure about this?" Ms. Marvel asks.
"Oh yeah." Jaden nods. "By the way I wanted to talk to you about earlier."
"What's up?" She asks.
"Kamala, even though you snuck aboard. You've proven to be a big help and right now we need all the help we can get." Jaden said.
"Wait do you mean?" Ms. Marvel asks as Jaden taps her shoulders like he was knighting her.
"Congratulations, you're an Avenger now." Jaden said.
Smiling widely, Ms. Marvel grabs Jaden and hugs him.
"Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" Ms. Marvel squeals with joy surprising him.
"Wow uh you're welcome." Jaden blushes.
Eyes opening Ms. Marvel lets go trying to hide her blush.
"S-Sorry guess I got a little excited back there." Ms. Marvel said adjusting herself.
"It's okay but right now we have a war to stop." Jaden said putting on his mask.
Making their way through the hanger everyone but Iron Man arrived at a jet only to see a pilot was inside.
"Hey you guys aren't authorized to be—" He starts when Wolverine grabs him and throws him out of the jet.
"Employee of the freaking month, ladies and gentlemen." Wolverine said as they started it up.
On the bridge, Fury was looking out when Maria Hill walks in.
"Agent Hill." Fury said acknowledging her.
"Sir…Coulson's condition isn't fatal anymore." Hill said.
"They needed the push." Fury said as a ship flew out.
"We have an unauthorized departure in bay 6." A voice said.
"They found it, I want our communications back up. Do whatever you have to do." Fury orders
"Yes sir." Hill said before stopping. "Did you mean all that earlier? What you said about Spider-Man?"
"I did." Fury nods as Hill walks away.
"Whoa, that kid is something else." Hill said.
Flying in towards Metropolis, Iron Man was heading towards Stark Tower where the portal was running.
"Sir, I've turned off the Arc Reactor, but the device is already self-sustaining." Jarvis said.
"Then I'll shut it down manually." Iron Man fires a blast at the machine but a barrier appears deflecting it.
"The barrier is pure energy. It's unbreachable." Jarvis said.
Yeah I got that." Iron Man said when he noticed Klarion. "Plan B."
"Sir the Mark 7 is not complete." Jarvis said.
"Then skip the spinning the rims. We're on the clock." Tony said.
Making his way down, Iron Man had his armor taken off as he made his way inside to see Klarion and Teekl waiting for him.
"Please tell me you're to beg me for mercy." Klarion smirks.
"Actually, I'm here to threaten you." Tony said.
"You should have left your armor on for that." Klarion points.
"Yeah well it's seen some milage not to mention you have the glowy stick of destiny." Tony said walking to the bar. "You want a drink? I'm gonna get one. What about the furball? Milk?"
"You're stalling." Klarion said as Tony walked behind it.
"Not stalling, threatening." Tony reminds
"The Chitauri are coming and nothing will change that. There's no Justice League, no Superhero High, nothing that can get in my way. What's to fear?" Klarion asks.
"The Avengers." Tony said pouring a glass as Klarion looks over. "It's what we call ourselves. Earth's Mightiest Heroes."
"Yeah, I saw them." Klarion said.
"Takes us a while to get things down." Tony said as he put on some metal bands which Klarion didn't notice. "Let's do a headcount. We have a demigod, a super soldier, his war buddy with serious anger issues, a Sorcerer, a handful of high school heroes, a couple of Master Agents and you my friend managed to piss of every single one of us."
"That was the plan." Klarion said.
"Not a great plan." Tony said walking out sipping his drink. "When they come and they will, they'll come for you."
"I have an army." Klarion said.
"We have a Hulk." Tony counters.
"Your beast is gone." Klarion said.
"You're missing the point. There is no outcome where you come out on top. Maybe your army is too much for us, but it is all on you because if we can't protect the Earth, we'll avenge it." Tony declares.
"Too bad they'll be too busy dealing with you." Klarion pokes his chest with the scepter but the Arc reactor stopped it confusing him. "Huh? This usually works."
"Oof defective gear. I hate when that happens." Tony mocks when Teekl grew in size and rammed him to the ground. "Jarvis anytime."
"I will not be made a fool of! You will all fall!" Klarion declares.
"Deploy! Deploy!" Tony said as Klarion blasts him out the window and when he did an armor shot out turning him back into Iron Man allowing him to fly back up.
"And there's one more person you pissed off." Iron Man declares. "His name is Phil Coulson."
Teekl hisses leaping at him but Iron Man blasts the oversized cat to the ground knocking Klarion back.
Suddenly the Tesseract glowed and a portal opened up in the air and from it tons of Chitauri flew out.
"Oh right…the army." Iron Man gulps.
Flying in Iron Man fires multiple missiles trying to take out as many as possible but many were getting away causing the citizens to panic as the Chitauri fired down at them.
Taking out her phone Lois pointed it at the sky.
"Lois Lane, here live Metropolis as we seem to be under attack by an alien invasion! To all heroes who are out there! Please get to Metropolis as fast as you can!" Lois said.
Zooming out we see the heroes of Super Hero High watching with horror as they tried to get out but to no avail.
As Klarion walks out to view the destruction, Thor lands across from him.
"Turn off the Tesseract or I will destroy it myself." Thor threatens.
"You can't. There is no stopping it. There is only war." Klarion points his scepter at him.
"So be it." Thor said leaping in.
Dodging it, Klarion fires a magical blast which Thor deflects with his hammer.
Swinging the hammer, Klarion blocks it with his weapon before firing an attack which Thor counters with lightning causing the Stark Logo to explode and most of the letters fell off.
On the outskirts, the Avengers look in shock at what was happening.
"Oh sweet Hera." Wonder Woman gasps.
"Iron Man, we're arriving northeast." Spider-Man said into the speaker.
"What did you all stop for drive-through? I'm heading downtown meet me there." Iron Man said as they flew in.
As Daredevil and Human Torch were at the controls they saw Iron Man flying.
"Johnny." Daredevil said.
"I see them." Human Torch said firing destroying tons of them.
"Over there!" Katana points to the battle between Thor and Klarion.
"Payback time." Human Torch said.
As Klarion blasts Thor back he looks to the ship and fires causing a wing to burst in flames.
"No!" Thor yells.
"Wonder Woman! Supergirl!" Spider-Man yells.
Knowing what he meant both girls flew out and grabbed onto the wings allowing them to land the aircraft on the ground.
Unbuckling everyone ran out to see the destruction everywhere.
Suddenly looking up they saw a giant Leviathan and many more Chitauri fly out of the portal.
"Oh boy." Batgirl said.
"We are gonna have our work cut out for us this time." Iron Fist said.
As the Leviathan flew in from under its armor many Chitauri leaped out.
"Stark are you seeing this?" Captain America asks.
"Seeing but working on believing." Iron Man said.
"Well you better start because we have to fight all of them." Dr. Strange said.
"Anyone seen Brian? Has he shown up yet?" Iron Man asks.
"Brian?" Supergirl asks.
"Just keep me posted." Iron Man said flying in at the Leviathan but none of his attacks seemed to work.
Up atop the tower, Thor was knocked down again by Klarion.
"You have got to be the weakest Asgardian I've ever met. You're weak, stupid, like a worthless little frog." Klarion mocks.
"Frog?" Thor growls at a recent memory. "I am no Frog!" Swinging his hammer, Thor nails Klarion in the gut making him drop his scepter before lifting him up and slamming him to the ground.
He was about to move in when Klarion rolls off the edge and onto a Chariot allowing him to race into the city and blow things up.
Down below, Supergirl rips open a bus allowing people to escape while Dr. Strange and Zatanna made barriers to cover them.
"Come on! We gotta get these people out of here!" Spider-Man said as Wolverine stabs his claws into a car ripping a woman and her baby out.
"Thank you." She said.
"Get moving lady!" Wolverine points.
Nearby the police were struggling to hold off the Chitauri.
"It's gonna be an hour before they can scramble the National Guard!" One said.
"National Guard? Does the army know what's happening?" The captain asks.
"Do we?" He asks when suddenly Captain America leaps in.
"You need men in these buildings. There are people inside and they'll be running right into fire. Get them to the basements and subways. Keep them off the streets. I need a perimeter as far back as 39th." Cap said.
"Why should I listen to you?" He asks when two Chitauri leaped in and Captain America whacked them away. "I need men in those buildings! Lead the people off the streets and set up that perimeter!"
Nearby Iron Fist punches a Chitarui as Katana slices his arm off.
Moving in Black Panther slashes one multiple times before Ms. Marvel squashes it with her giant hands.
"Flame on!" Erupting in flames Human Torch burns down 3 Chitauri while Daredevil finished two others.
Suddenly lightning rained down as everyone sees Thor and Captain America join up with them.
"What's the story?" Doctor Strange asks.
"The cube is protected by a barrier and Superhero High has been sealed off." Thor said.
"He's right." Iron Man said flying in. "We have no backup folks. It's just us."
"First we got to get rid of these guys." Batgirl said.
"How do we do that?" Daredevil asks.
"As a team." Supergirl said when they heard a motorcycle.
Turning around they saw Brian driving over.
"Hey guys, what I'd miss?" Brian asks.
"You ready to fight?" Wonder Woman asks.
"Oh yeah." Brian nods.
"Iron Man, we got him." Spider-Man said.
"Banner? Tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to him." Iron Man said as he lead the Leviathan down towards them.
"How is that a party?" Zatanna asks.
"Alright." Brian said walking towards it.
"Brian now might be a really good time to get angry." Supergirl said.
"That's my family secret. I'm always angry." Brian growls turning into Hulk and swings a punch stopping the Leviathan in its tracks.
Moving in Iron Man fires a missile through the gap in the armor and the giant creature explodes getting the attention of every Chitauri in the city.
Forming a circle, Hulk roars as all the Avengers readied themselves.
"Send the rest." Klarion said as from the portal more Leviathans and Chitauri flew out.
"Uh guys." Supergirl said as they all looked up.
"Alright, what's the plan?" Ms. Marvel asks.
"Okay until we can close that portal, our priority is containment. Spider-Man, Daredevil, I want you guys to trip them up, call out patterns, strays do anything to stop them." Cap said.
"They won't know what hit them." Spider-Man said.
"Iron Man, Supergirl, Human Torch, you guys are perimeter. Anything that gets more than 3 blocks out turn them back or turn them to ash." Cap said.
"Easy." Iron Man nods.
"Thor, Strange, Zatanna, try and bottleneck that portal, slow them down. You got the lightning and magic, take them down."
"Right." They nodded.
"Katana, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Iron Fist, Wolverine, Ms. Marvel, Black Panther you guys are with me on the ground. Keep the fight focused on us. And Hulk." Captain America said as Hulk looks to him. "Smash."
Hearing this Hulk couldn't help but grin.
"Hold on." Iron Man said stopping them before they moved out. "Spider-Man, a while ago you made a battle cry. Say it."
Knowing what he meant, Spider-Man took a stance. "Avengers Assemble!" Spider-Man declares as all of them roar in determination and moved out.
Leaping up Hulk smashes multiple Chitauri left and right with ease.
On the rooftops, Thor fired a giant bolt of lighting while nearby Dr. Strange and Zatanna fired powerful magical blasts at the portal destroying everything they could and pushing the rest back.
At Superhero High, everyone was watching the news as they saw the Avengers take on the Chitauri.
"Jaden." Kitty said worried.
"Oh I hope they win." Harley gulps.
"The fate of the world is literally in their hands." Starfire said.
"This sucks, they're risking their lives and there's nothing we can do!" Cyborg said.
"We have to have faith they can pull through." Bumblebee said.
Up on the roof, Spider-Man and Daredevil had their backs to each other.
"No way, my spider-sense is way better than your radar sense." Spider-Man said firing a web causing a chariot to crash.
"In your dreams. Iron Man these things can't bank get them into tight spaces!" Daredevil said whacking a Chitauri away.
"Copy that." Iron Man said as several Chitauri on chariots closed in on him.
Diving into a small passage, Iron Man flew through while the Chitauri had trouble steering and crashed everywhere.
"Nice call, what else you guys got?" Iron Man asks.
"Thor and Iron Fist are taking on a squadron two blocks away." Spider-Man said.
"And they didn't invite me?" Iron Man said flying to it.
As a Leviathan flew by it was suddenly tied up by magical constraints.
"I got him!" Zatanna yells as Supergirl flew in and fired Heat vision making the beast crash to the ground.
On the streets, Wolverine was slashing Chitauri left and right when Captain America threw his shield in whacking them away.
"Just like old times eh Logan?" Captain America asks.
"Yep these things are as brain dead as HYDRA." Wolverine said as Cap whacks one in the face and Wolverine slashes it.
"Embiggen!" Swinging her giant fist, Ms. Marvel punches one into a building. "Don't mess with me you ugly space troopers! I'm an Avenger now!"
Suddenly flames flew in as Human Torch roasted two Chitauri alive.
"Good for you, now fight like one!" Human Torch said.
Nearby Batgirl was knocked onto a car as a Chitauri tried to stab her but she rolled out of the way and punched it with her electro knuckle before yanking its spear out of its hand and stabbing it.
Turning around Batgirl was about to fire when Wonder Woman landed nearby.
"None of this means anything if we can't close that portal." Batgirl pants.
"Not even our powerhouses could hit it." Wonder Woman said.
"Maybe power isn't what we need." Batgirl said getting an idea.
"You're gonna need a ride." Wonder Woman said.
"On it." Batgirl said dropping the spear. "I need a boost."
"You sure?" Wonder Woman asks raising her shield.
"Yeah it's gonna be fun." Batgirl said running to her and Wonder Woman launches Batgirl up into the air allowing her to grab onto a chariot.
Climbing on she cuts the chain holding the shooter allowing her to kick him off.
Looking to the driver, Batgirl took out two bataarangs before leaping in and knocking him off the chariot.
"Okay how hard can this be?" Batgirl asks taking the controls but it wasn't as easy as it looked.
As Batgirl flew through the air Iron Man and Human Torch flew in nearby and fired blasting the Chiaturi out of the sky.
Down below, Captain America, Wonder Woman and Katana were fighting off Chitauri down below when Iron Man fires a blast.
Raising their shields Cap and Wonder Woman reflect the attacks taking out nearby Chitauri as Iron Man flew away.
Throwing their shields they smash into two Chitauri allowing two webs to grab the shields.
Up on the roof, Spider-Man was swinging the shields around whacking away as many Chiatauri as possible with Black Panther and Iron Fist fighting nearby.
Throwing the shields up in the air Supergirl and Human Torch caught them as they used the shields to deflect enemy fire before smashing the chariots to bits.
Nearby Dr. Strange blasts many Chitauri before making a portal allowing the shields to go back to Captain America and Wonder Woman.
On the ground Daredevil was whacking away multiple Chitauri with his baton when Zatanna waved her wand blasting them into the sky only for a Leviathan to crash into them.
On its back, Wolverine, Hulk, Thor, and Ms. Marvel were fighting off multiple Chitauri before she rips a piece of plating off and tosses it to Hulk allowing him to slam it into the armor.
Raising his hammer Thor smashes the plate through the leviathan killing it instantly as it crashes into a building.
On the streets, everyone was struggling to keep this up.
"Guys we got a problem. They've taken over a train 4 blocks away, a bank is full of hostages two blocks away and one reporter is corned on 31st." Daredevil said.
"W got the bank!" Captain America said as he and Black Panther ran to it.
"Come on! Train!" Wolverine said as he and Katana ran to catch it.
"I'm closest to 31st!" Spider-Man said swinging away.
On a rooftop, Lois was backing away in fear as Chitauri aimed its blaster at her.
"Come on, I'm just a reporter." Lois gulps as it fired at her.
Suddenly a web flew in and yanked her to safety.
"Whoa!" Lois yells when Spider-Man caught her. "Spider-Man?!"
"Hang on!" Spider-Man said as he swung her through the streets when suddenly a Chariot rams into him knocking them into a building.
Tumbling, Lois looks up to see the floor was empty as the two Chitarui attacked Spider-Man.
Jumping back, Spider-Man dodges their fire when one charges in and punches Spider-Man in the face knocking him to the ground.
Gasping Lois watches one grabs him by the mask causing it to loosen.
Growling Spider-Man fires a web hitting it in the face before stabbing it with his stingers.
Using this chance the second Chitauri tackles Spider-Man.
Eyes widening Lois sees his mask fall off to see Jaden glaring the monster down.
"No way." Lois said in shock.
"Get your filthy claws off me!" Jaden said kicking the Chitauri off him.
Firing a web, he swings in and kicks the Chitauri to the ground before stabbing him.
Panting heavily, Jaden turns and sees Lois holding his mask causing Jaden's eyes to widen.
"J-Jaden? You're Spider-Man?" Lois said blown away.
"Surprise." Jaden said.
"I don't believe this. I have so many questions." Lois said as Jaden walks over.
"Sorry Lois but right now you'll have to wait. Can you please keep this a secret?" Jaden begs.
Pausing Lois looks at the boy she has a crush on was a hero. This was a huge scoop.
"Please Lois, I promise after this you and I will sit down and talk but right now I have a planet to save." Jaden said.
"You promise?" Lois asks as Jaden nods. "Okay."
As Jaden takes his mask back Lois stops him.
"One thing though." Moving in Lois kisses Jaden on the lips causing his eyes to widen. "Thank you, for everything. Save the world Jaden. I know you can."
Shaking it off Jaden puts his mask back on and swings back out.
"What a hero." Lois sighs watching Spider-Man swing into action.
Near the subway, Wolverine and Katana ran to a train being held captive by 5 Chitauri.
As the people huddled in fear as the train ran along the tracks Katana and Wolverine jumped through the windows.
Screeching the Chitarui fired but they jumped out of the way making a hole in the side.
Moving in Katana slashes one while Wolverine pushed one through the hole only for two to tackle him out.
As Katana glared the last two down they screeched attacking her but Katana blocks their attacks stabbing one with her sword and throwing a kunai into another's head hitting it between the eyes.
Using his claws, Wolverine hangs onto the edge of the train with the Chitarui holding onto him.
As Wolverine tries to shake him off he sees a sign up ahead. Letting go, he and Chitauri roll onto the roof of the speeding train as it raced through town.
Acting quickly the Chitauri stabbed their blades through the roof while Wolverine used his claws.
As one looks up Logan turns around to see a tunnel. Quickly moving his head down they wait to get out before he digs his claws out and slashes making the Chitauri skid back only to stab another sword through the roof.
Wolverine was about to move in when the Chitauri ducks forcing Wolverine to drop down.
Turning around they see more signs coming acting quickly jumped up to avoid getting hit.
Using this chance, Wolverine slides past the Chitauri so he could see what was coming while the Chitarui had to turn back to look at him.
Looking ahead Wolverine saw a sign up ahead. Grunting Wolverine lightly jumps causing the Chitauri to mimic and smack into the sign while he came out safe.
Turning around at the last one, Wolverine leaps up and drives his claws through its chest right as the train stops killing it.
As Katana walks off Wolverine jumps down.
"These guys have no brains, they're just mindless sheep." Wolverine pants.
"Insult them later, we have to keep moving." Katana said as they ran back to the fight.
At the bank, many civilians were cornered as 4 Chitauri aimed their guns at them.
Slowly one took out a grenade when Captain America and Black Panther leaped through the window.
Throwing his shield, Cap whacks the grenade out of its hands allowing Panther to leap in and slash it surprising everyone.
"Everyone out!" Captain America yells as the Chitauri fired.
Using their shield and suit, both heroes lessened the damage before kicking a desk towards them.
Rushing in Captain America punches the Chitauri multiple times before throwing him over the edge.
As everyone ran away the last Chitauri grabbed the grenade and threw it at the heroes.
Raising his shield to block the explosion knocked both of them out the window.
Crashing to the ground both heroes groaned.
"You hanging in there okay?" Captain America pants.
"I'll live…for now at least." Black Panther groans.
On the Helicarrier, Fury was talking to the council.
"The council has made its decision." One said.
"I understand that, but given that it's a stupid ass decision I've chosen to ignore it." Fury said.
"Director, you are closer than any of our subs. You scramble that jet…" A council member said.
"That is the city of Metropolis, councilman. Until I'm certain my team cannot hold it I will not order a nuclear strike against a civilian population." Fury snaps.
"If we don't hold them here, we lose everything." A council member said.
"I said that bird out, we already have." Fury said shutting it down.
On the streets of Metropolis, Batgirl was flying through the air when Spider-Man swings in next to her.
"Hey need a lift?" Batgirl asks.
"You got an idea?" Spider-Man asks.
"I think so." Batgirl said as Spider-Man leaps onto the back when suddenly a blast was fired at them.
Turning around they saw Klarion closing in.
"Oh great this guy." Batgirl growls.
"Iron Fist where are you?" Spider-Man calls out when Iron Fist ran along the rooftops.
"I'm here!" Iron Fist said.
"We need help shaking him!" Spider-Man said.
Looking up, Iron Fist locked in on Klarion's chariot.
With a glowing fist, Iron Fist leaps off and punches a radio antenna causing it to fly towards Klarion and hit his chariot causing him to crash down onto Stark Tower knocking off more letters.
Using this chance, Spider-Man and Batgirl leaped off and landed near the machine.
Growling Klarion got up only to see Hulk leap in and smash him into the tower.
Tumbling down, Teekl hissed at Hulk and attacked but Hulk grabs the cat and slams it into the wall.
"ENOUGH!" Klarion snaps as Hulk approached him. "You are pathetic little brats! You can't defeat me! I am a master of the dark arts you worthless brute and I will not be bullied by—" Grabbing Klarion by the legs Hulk smashes him against the floor multiple times shutting him up.
"Puny witch." Hulk scoffs walking away causing Klarion to whimper.
Outside, Spider-Man and Batgirl approach the machine.
"We can't break through it with our powers." Spider-Man said.
"Maybe not ours." Batgirl said noticing Klarion's scepter on the ground. "But maybe that can."
Throughout Metropolis, the Avengers were giving it their all to stop the Chitauri.
Swinging his baton, Daredevil whacks multiple Chitauri away when one hits him to the ground.
He tried to get up when Iron Fist leaps in and knocks them away.
Hulk and Black Panther fought off as many Chitauri as they could when they started firing multiple blasts at them sending both of them crashing to the ground.
Making a giant magic circle Dr. Strange used it to protect himself, Zatanna and Ms. Marvel from fire but the force was proving difficult for him.
Flying through the air, Human Torch and Thor were using Fire and Lightning to attack when a Leviathan flew out knocking them both to the ground.
Flying in Wonder Woman and Supergirl punch the Leviathan knocking it to the ground.
Swinging their shield and hammer, Captain America and Thor were fighting back to back trying to keep them at bay when Wolverine got shot multiple times.
Even though he could heal injuries they still hurt like hell.
Meanwhile at the Helicarrier, a jet was preparing for takeoff.
"Director Fury is no longer in command. Override order 7-Alpha-11." A councilwoman said.
"7-Alpha-11 confirmed." The pilot said.
"Sir we have a rogue bird!" Maria yells.
"Someone stop it!" Fury yells running out.
But when he made it out with a bazooka someone exited behind him.
"Hold it right there!" Exiting the helicarrier Fury sees Phil Coulson with bandages on his chest and one on his face aiming the big gun from earlier. Firing a blast it hits the Jet wing causing it to swerve and crash before takeoff.
"Coulson. You son of a bitch." Fury smiles.
"You kiss your wife with that mouth?" Phil asks when a second jet flew out. "Hurry!"
Both tried to fire but the jet got away.
Grabbing his commlink, Fury called them.
"Stark can you read me? You have a missile heading for the city!" Fury said.
"How long?" Iron Man asks trying to fight off some Chitauri.
"3 minutes max, the payload will wipe out all of Metropolis." Fury said.
Leaping in Dr. Strange slashes them away with an energy whip. "Go now!" Dr. Strange yells.
"Jarvis put everything we got into the thrusters!" Iron Man said.
"I just did." Jarvis said Iron Man took off into the air.
In the distance, the jet fires the missile sending it flying to Metropolis.
"Package is sent. Detonation in 2 minutes and 30 seconds." The pilot said.
At the top of the tower, Spider-Man was typing furiously on the machine's computer as Batgirl picked up the scepter.
"I just need to reroute the energy conversions so the Tesseract stops generating more power. By using the scepter, we can shut this whole thing down." Spider-Man said as Batgirl inserts the scepter through the barrier towards the cube.
"I can close it. Can anyone hear me? I can shut the portal down." Batgirl said.
"Do it!" Everyone yells.
"No wait, not yet." Iron Man said stopping her.
"Mr. Stark these things won't stop!" Spider-Man said.
"I got a nuke coming in. It's gonna blow in less than a minute and I know just where to put it." Iron Man said flying after the missile before grabbing onto it.
On the news, all over Metropolis, people at SHIELD, Superhero High, the Avengers and all over the city were watching as Iron Man flew up and took the nuke right through the portal causing everyone to cheer.
In the portal, Iron Man slowly lets go as the missile flew towards a dark ship filled with Chitauri and Leviathan before exploding upon impact.
All over the city, the Avengers looked to see all the Chitauri instantly drop to the ground dead.
Looking up everyone waited in hope that Iron Man would come out.
"Come on Mr. Stark." Spider-Man said.
"Close it." Cap orders.
Moving the scepter in Batgirl hits the machine causing the portal to shut down along with the barrier around Superhero High.
As it slowly closed everyone looked to see Iron Man fall out at the last second.
"He made it!" Supergirl smiles.
"Son of a gun." Wolverine chuckles.
"Wait he's not slowing down." Ms. Marvel said.
"He's falling too fast." Human Torch said.
"Someone catch him!" Daredevil yells.
Leaping in Hulk grabs Iron Man before impact and absorbs the crash as they land on the ground.
Gasping everyone ran over to see Hulk put Iron Man down on the ground.
"Is he breathing?" Wonder Woman asks as Thor rips off the mask to see Tony's eyes were closed.
Looking to him, Hulk lets out a roar waking Tony up.
"What the hell?" Tony groans as they all smiled. "What just happened? Please tell me no one kissed me."
"Ha. You wish Stark." Zatanna smirks.
"We won." Captain America said as they all smiled.
"Alright, yay. Good job guys. Hey let's not even go back to school tomorrow we earned a day off. Have you ever tried shawarma? I saw a joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is but I want to try it. It's on me." Tony said.
"We're not finished yet." Black Panther said as they all looked up to the tower.
"Right, that first then shawarma." Tony said.
On an unknown planet, a large cannon device was being destroyed as Superman, Batman and Captain Marvel were looking up at Vandal Savage.
"Game over Savage." Superman said as Savage chuckles.
"What's so funny?" Batman glares.
"You are. You fell right into my real trap. By now my real plan has already claimed your home planet." Savage said.
"What did you do?" Captain Marvel asks.
"I had Klarion set up what would be the destruction of your planet. By now the Chitauri should have destroyed everything." Savage chuckles.
Moving in Batman took out a hologram to see but when he did he smirks.
"I think you might need to have a look, Savage." Batman said.
Confused Savage brings up an image and the news said. "Alien Invasion stopped by the Avengers."
"The Avengers?" Superman asks interested.
"Nice." Captain Marvel smiles while Savage was furious.
"Dammit Klarion you had one job." Savage roars enraged.
All his plans, ruined and now he was back to square one and an ally of his had failed. And to make things worse there was another group of superheroes out there.
Back in the tower, Klarion groans as he slowly crawls to grab his unconscious cat when he felt something.
Turning around he saw all the Avengers glaring at him.
"Damn you…DAMN YOU ALL!" Klarion roars as Spider-Man punches him in the face shutting him up.
"Game over Witch Boy. You lose." Zatanna glares.
"You're going away for a long time." Daredevil said.
"How? How could I lose to you people?" Klarion growls.
"Because you underestimated us. You thought by sending away the Justice League and making us fight each other would be enough. That was your mistake." Spider-Man said.
"Let's get him out of here." Wonder Woman said as Dr. Strange magically handcuffed Klarion.
"Hey uh I'll catch up with you guys in a second. Spidey I need a word with you." Iron Man said.
"Really?" Spider-Man asks
"Just a minute." Iron Man said.
Seeing these two needed a moment everyone walked out.
"So what are you guys gonna do now?" Ms. Marvel asks.
"Well I don't know about this guy but I was thinking of checking out your school." Human Torch said.
"It must be pretty good to train heroes like you guys." Daredevil agrees as they walked out leaving Tony and Jaden alone.
Taking off their masks both walked to the window.
"Well that was an experience I'll never forget." Tony said as he and Jaden looked out the window.
"I'll say. This was the craziest fight of my life." Jaden said.
"Hey uh Jaden listen. I don't say this often or at all but...I'm sorry." Tony said surprising him.
"Wait what?" Jaden asks.
"I was wrong about you. I thought your recruits were too much but every single one of them today proved that they were exactly what we needed and I'm sorry for questioning you." Tony smiles.
"Wow thanks Mr. Stark." Jaden smiles.
"You got good instincts just like me." Tony chuckles wrapping his arm around his shoulder. "In fact, I think it should be official."
"What do you mean?" Jaden asks.
"Well leadership is right now between me and Cap but I think Spider-Man is the perfect guy to be the Avengers recruiter." Tony said.
"Seriously?" Jaden said.
"You bet." Iron Man said.
"So what do we do about this?" Spider-Man asks holding up the Tesseract.
"We'll figure something out, right now I'm starving." Tony said as they walked out.
Zooming out we see they were under the logo but because of the fight all that remained was the A from STARK.
