After Sally's return and witnessing Sonic, the love of her life kissing her, Amy fights her inner demons to find out what she really wants. A certain Red and Black hedgehog might help her in the conflict. Meanwhile, Shadow might face a certain relative from the ark that's spreading terror and havoc in Maria's name. 46. Chapter 46: Prison Break

Chapter 46: Prison Break

The grenade explodes while Dragono jumps in front of Despara. They get sent of stage but a part of Despara's right eye is burning.

Despara: *Grunting* "We're under attack!"

Dragono: "Ouch!"

Dragono gets up fine thanks to his strength. His vision a bit blurry. He gets up dusting himself off. A Black arm runs up to check Despara's eye. He helps her up as she holds her face. She walks back inside with a few guards escorting her. The mob is beating Sally. Kicking her as she fights back. She punches and hits everything back but is overwelmed until the blue hedgehog burst through the crowd. He stabs his sword in the ground next to sally. The electricity knocks them back. He defends her from the bloody war cry from the aliens of the planet. A few guards run up next to the mystery who stares at the blue one.

?: "Knew He would come for her. Just didn't know she would stay to watch."

Black arm's: "Your orders sir?"

?: "Capture them alive. Get this stuff towards the prison cells. The circulation will spread right?"

Black arm: "Yes sir. We made sure of it."

?: "Get that laser out of here and back to the comet. We'll meet you there at tomorrow."

Black arm: "Sir!"

The mystery walks off towards the the crowd. He pushes through and towards the path where Sonic and Sally are. He enters the open area standing. He stands feet 3 feet apart and arms behind his back.

Sonic: "Sup, I'm assuming you're in charge?"

?: "What a pleasure it is to finally come face to face with you. As expected of your attachment to the Princess, I knew you would come to her rescue. I admire your will and strength."

Sonic: "Much appreciated. Seems I have fans on enemy lines."

?: "Indeed you do mr hedgehog. I humbly like your speed. It seems you got stronger."

Sonic: "I did… wait how do you-"

?: "I kept a close eye on you and her for a while."

Sonic: "Huh, no wonder you went after her. So, who are you?"

?: "I don't have a name. But I do have is skills I would like to share you."

Sonic: "Well come on, Show me what cha got!"

The mystery pulls out a gun and shoots at sonic. Sonic dodges and catches the bullet.

Sonic: "Really? A gun against me? You really think this bullet was gonna catch me." *Laughing* "Oh, I mean the best you could do is this? Man you guys get easier and easier."

?: "Your ego will be your own destruction."

Sonic laughs and the tip of the bullet opens. A little bug crawls out and on sonic fingers and bites him on the finger tip making it sting like a mosquito.

Sonic: "Ow! What the…" *Flop*

He falls on the ground face first and he sleeps. Sally crawls to sonic and checks on him. The bug flies away and sally checks on him.

Sally: "Sonic? Sonic?"

?: "Don't worry princess. He'll be fine in a few minutes. Bring them in!"

They pick Sonic and Sally up and escort them inside. Knuckles and Bonnie watch.

Knuckles: "Ahh, that idiot! Rushing in without back up."

Bonnie: "Don't worry, we'll get them back before they get out of hand. We need to get these prisoners out before they start spreading that Nasty Gas."

Knuckles: "Lets follow them."

They follow the boxes inside. They all move cargo and guns inside the helicarriers. They all wait outside for further instructions before they leave. Knuckles and Bonnie sneak inside. Knuckles punches a locked door and over a glass balcony getting a view of them moving. They walk them into the main building. They take them upstairs into the wardens room. They tie them up and drop them into the room. The mystery enters the room.

?: "I am so glad to see you here. We have such big plans for the both of you."

Sonic: "Not for me bud. I don't have any plans."

?: "The ultimate lifeform. Where Is he?"

Sonic: "Far from here."

?: "He's back on the planet I presume."

Sonic: "Don't even try. He'll kick your ass."

?: "Perhaps. I presume you were the one who defeated Gloom?"

Sonic: "Didn't do it alone."

?: "Good. Friends in high places. Collateral damage. Your blade looks magnificent."

He picks up the blade he dropped on the ground.

Sonic: "Hey, You be careful with Blitz."

?: "Blitz. Perfect name for the element it was made from on the space colony. He speaks to you."

Sonic: "No duh sherlock, Now put him down."

?: "As you wish."

He puts blitz back in its sheath and places it on his desk.

Sally: "So now what?"

?: …

Sally: "Are you gonna kill us?"

?: "I can't allow you to die. I need you for something."

Sonic: "For what?"

?: "Time will tell. Right now, I got a chopper ready for us."

Sonic: "Chopper ready for you. Not me. nor her."

He gets on his walkie-talkie

?: "TPW-99, are you on the way?"

TPW-99: "I read you we'll be there in a 45 minutes."

Sonic: "So what you got planned?"

?: "Our operatives have confirmation that Gloom is at GUN HQ. We will have him back. one way or another. He takes out a camera and places it on the desk. He hits record."

Sonic: "Oh is that cute, he wants to make home movies!"

The mystery takes out a towel. He puts it into his mouth shutting him up."

?: "That should help."

Sonic: *muffling*

?: "People of the planet mobius. My name is not important. But what's really important right now are our demands. We are the Black Arms. We humbly request that you release our leader Gloom. Right now we have two associates the world knows well. We have the Princess of the kingdom of acorn and the blue hedgehog who's known to be the fastest. Sonic and Sally. Right now, we have them in our custody. We have two propositions each. Two trades we request. One of your choosing. You give us gloom and the package we know project shadow has and we give you the two prisoners of ours. At this moment you have 1 hour to give us what we want or we will submit to Harsh Decisions we would not like to do. We have a right to live and a right to this world. We will complete our agenda. And you will live with us. We mean you no harm, we just want lord Gloom. Please? We sent a link to the emails you can call in to GUN about us. You may contact us for details."

Sonic spits out the towel. He rants his mouth.

Sonic: "Don't give this guy anything. I'll get us out of here. These black bitches don't have nothing on us. We can kick their butts anytime anywhere!"

The mystery presses end record and takes out the chip. He puts it into his pocket.

Sally: "So now what?"

?: "You come with me. We leave soon after I destroy this office."

He starts grabbing papers and tossing them into a trash bin. He gets a long piece of string and cuts it. He goes into his bag and grabs out grenades he ties them through all the pins carefully so he won't start the ignition. He grabs a gas can and starts pouring across his table. He pours it on the floor and walls. He takes his bag and tosses it out the door.

Sally: *Whisper* "Where are the others?"

Sonic: "Yyyyeeeaahhh, we were kinda thinking of a plan first and we were too late to notice the signal. So I just rushed in because I saw the mob beating you senselessly."

Sally: "Great."

Sonic: "Any ideas?"

Sally: "I have one. I need you to get the people locked in the prison wards out. They'll let of the gas and set this place on fire."

Sonic: "What about you?"

Sally: "I can handle myself. I'll stop that gas. You get them out."

Sonic: "Yep, but I'll be in one hell of a fight to them. I also need to find knuckles and bunnie."

Sally: "Get them out and warn the others as soon as I cut you."

Sonic: "With what?"

Sally turns her hands that are tied up towards the ties on Sonic. She activates her ring blade and it cuts her and the Hedgehog. The mystery notice's and ducks under the table. Sonic spin dashes towards him but misses. He jumps over and sonic spin dashes at him. The mystery uses the table to block him with the best of his ability. He slams though the table and bashes him though the wall. Sally cuts the ties on her legs and his fully freeing them. The mystery stands from the outside with a few guards. He pulls the string that's on him and lets of the pins of the grenades. He takes off down the hall towards the armory.

Sonic: "We gotta move now!"

He grabs her and his blade and jumps out the room.

*boom*

Sonic: "Man that was clo-"

A black arm runs up with his sword trying to cut sonic. Sonic blocks with his sheath and takes the blade out and cuts him. Sally blocks another black arm coming. She jumps up and delievers a back kick to him pushing him back.

Sonic: "Ready?"

Sally's ring blade activates.

Sally: "Let's do it-"

Sonic: "To it!"

They all charge at the duo. They attack with the ring and Blitz blades. The blades slash the black arms. Sonic cuts off a black arms arm. He backflip kicks the black arm. He runs up the wall of the facility into a crowd that wants to kill him. His sword electrifies. He spins around slashing a group of black arms clean to pieces. He hurries next to sally and side flip kicks a black arm to the ground. Sally spins over sonics back and pierces her blade into the black arm. She runs up to a black arm. He tries to shoot her but she beats him in a knife fight with her blade. She slashes off the tip of the gun and slices off it legs. She rushes to the to next black arm who tries to grab her. She jumps up and sends her blade to its head killing it. A black arm rushes to her. She falls down and blocks it. She 's caught in a struggle fighting for her life. She kicks the black arm in the nuts since she's low.

Black arm: *Wheezing*

She parries it off and stabs it in the heart. He falls back and a whole horde is coming. Sonic picks sally up and runs with her.

Sally: "We gotta get out. We're gonna be over run."

Sonic: "Over run? Okay."

He speeds up towards the nearest door. He opens it and closes. They're on another rooftop. He runs up across the buildings until a chopper comes in. The chopper shines the light and starts blasting at them. They see a skyview barrier and jump onto the glass. They fall and land on a mattress. The mattress is in the center. there's a guy standing in front of them.

Man: "Hey I know you guys."

Man 2: "She came back for us."

Woman: "Is that actually them?"

They get off of each other and stand to see the prisoners. They look at the people who are dirsty and skinny.

Sally: "I assume you're the prisoners?"

Man: "Yes."

10 minutes before

As knuckles and Bunnie follow their way through the prison taking out any guard that stands in their path, they come across despara running with a few guards.

Knuckles: "Hey, You!"

Despara: "KILL THEM BOTH!"

They start shooting at the two. They take cover behind a corner.

Bunnie: "We gotta get pass them."

Knuckles: "Yeah. Lets do it."

He punches through the wall and flanks the black arms. They approach to bunnie closer from the hall until Knuckles burst from another room knocking out the trio. He punches one of the guards that charge him and send him a few foot across the floor. Despara looks in shock and turns tide and runs. She hurries to another direction and knuckles follows. Bunnie hurries to catch up with the two. Despara passes a black oak that's ready for them. Knuckles sends punches towards the oak but he slams him through a wall. The cyber cowgirl brings out her pistol and aims for the head. She pistol whips her trigger sending 6 bullets destroying the head. It falls to the ground.

Bunnie: "Sug, you okay?"

Knuckles: "Fine."

He gets out the room and continues the chase for despara. He slams through a door and comes face to face he wish he didn't see. The armory. The whole army stares at them and pulls out their bought, stolen, or manufactured weapons. Bunnie pulls out a gadget in her pocket and activates it.

Bunnie: "Cover us while we get out of here."

Knuckles: "I got you."

She runs with knuckles with a shield protecting them all around. She has her pistol in her other hand firing out. Knuckles knocks anyone's lights out that get close or through the force field. He delievers punchs and picks up a chunk of metal and throws it towards one of the cargos blowing it up. They see the box being moved somewhere else.

Bunnie: "We gotta get that nasty gas before they unleash it on those prisoners."

Knuckles: "What about sonic?"

Bunnie: "They should be out now. They'll be fine."

She shoots anyone that's in her view. They hurry to that box that's being transported but a dark figure gets in there way. He stands there with green fire for his hair.

Dragono: "Sorry guys. But I cant let you have that box. Get it on the ship! I'll take care of these cunts."

He unleashes his wings and claws. Knuckles and bunnie get ready. She lets down the force field so it can recharge. Dragono sends a fireball towards them. Knuckles digs under while Bunnie takes cover. Knuckler digs up below the dragon and uppercuts him. he gets sent up but is flying. He holds his jaw and spits.

Dragono: "Not bad."

He sends his tail towards Knuckles but misses. He slams to the ground. Knuckles runs towards him and starts punching. The dragon blocks and sends swipes and flame fist to the echidna. They box things out until Bunnie tries to back knuckles up with her six shooter until Dragono flies around the Armory. See sends her bullets missing his flight speed. The black arm dragon sends his fireballs but they either get block or dodged. He comes back to the fighting ground and slams them away. The dragon screeches and disappears. His shadow can be visible. He slashes Knuckles leaving scratches and scars. He fills punches and is thrown to the air.

Knuckles: "AAAUGH" *Grunts*

He comes down and slams his fist into the ground. The dragon gets thrown back a bit from the force. He gets knocked back and appears. He blasts fireballs towards Bunnie but she shields herself. She sees gas cans next to him. She fires at it and it explodes. He gets sent back and on fire.

Dragono: "Ahhh, ugh" *Grunts*

He screeches out and a unit comes in to back him up. They shoot at the two and charge after them. Bunnie and Knuckles fight them off. The dragon intervenes. He sends his tail with a spike ball like it's a morning star. He slams it next to bunnie. She brings out her combat knife and slashes on the dragon.

Dragono: "Ouch."

She punches him in the face with her robotic arm. He clutches her fast with his hand holding her up by the neck. He opens his mouth ready to finish her off quick until knuckles grabs him by the tail. He drops her and tries to fight off knuckles. Knuckles holds on hard and yanks his tail. He gets pulled around knocking out the black arm soldiers. He swings him around in a circle.

Dragono: "Woah, Woah, WWWWOOAAAAAHHH!"

He tosses him at the top of the roof top as Bunnie notices and grenade. She grabs it and tosses. She aims it at dragono who tries to catch himself in the air. She fires her laser from her robotic arm at it and it explodes. The blasts is a direct hit. He falls from the smoke in one piece and lands into trash and barrels.

Bunnie: "He's out of commission for now!"

Knuckles: "Lets get that box."

They run onto the carrier knocking out a few guards. They secure the box and carry it out into the middle of the courtyard. A aircraft appears and starts shooting at something on top of the roof tops. They notice Sonic and Sally running. Knuckles runs back into the armory and grabs rpg that's been left over. He aims it at the chopper and blows it up it comes down crashing and hitting the ground next to them. Knuckles and Bunnie brace for impact. It crashes with black arm soldiers crawling out on fire screaming and moaning from the impact.

Knuckles: "You guard the box. I'll go check for resources."

Bunnie stays behind. She gets thought in her head. She decides to check it to see if it's the right gas. She opens it and finds the laser.

Bunnie: "Damn. Knuckles, It's not the gas! It's just some sort of weapon!"

Knuckles: "Well okay hold on!"

He goes in the wreckage and finds a radio. He takes it out and runs back to Bunnie.

Knuckles: "You think you can get radio contact with this."

Bunnie: "I can, but I just hope Ant and Rotor get it and figure out where we are."

She starts fiddiling with the knob on it and grabs out the walkie talkie.

Mazuri village

The girls lie on the outside with cups of water and bread in their hands. They eat and eat the food the villagers brought for them. They conversate with the village elders about what's going on about 10 miles away from them until three ships start coming in and land outside of the village. A swarm of Freedom fighters. Ant and Rotor come out with Tails and Nicole. The village elders wait for the 4 people to come in. They walk into the village and meet Gwek.

Gwek: "I presume you must be the… Freedom fighters?"

Rotor: "Yes sir. Sonic must've been here right?"

Gwek: "He left not too long ago. He's at the prison within the jungle. Not hard to find now since he left a trail of dirt behind."

Rotor: "So this messed up trail in the road leads to him?"

Nicole: "I'm getting a radio signal about 10 miles from here. It's Bunnie. She says she needs help from the prison."

Gwek: "You'll find them over there."

He points the trail to the direction of the jungle.

Rotor: "Thanks. Hey gary!"

He calls in one of the freedom fighters.

Rotor: "I need you and half your team to stay here and defend these people we'll radio for help until we get the others back."

Gary: "Right."

He runs back to the ship as half of one of the ships teams stay behind. Antione, Nicole, and tails follow and hop aboard the ship they take off and start flying towards the direction of the prison.

Prison

Bunnie: "Ahh, no good. I don't know if any of them heard."

Knuckles: "Dammit."

A strange figure crawls off the stage towards them. His face burns and is discombobulated.

GUN Soldier: "H-help..."

They focus their attention towards him.

Knuckles: "Its him."

Bunnie: "The poor guy who got his looks taken away from him."

They rush to aid him and pick him up. She picks a towel out of her pocket and lies it on his face.

Bunnie: "What's your name sug?"

Daniel: "D-daniel. I need to inform gun."

Bunnie: "Why?"

Daniel "I…i."

Knuckles: "You okay."

Daniel: "It hurts… to. talk."

Bunnie: "Well don't say anything. You just lie here."

Knuckles: "Listen I'm gonna go look for sonic and the others. You stay here with him."

Bunnie: "Got it."

She stays while knuckles runs off to find them.

Prison ward

Hundreds of people crammed into one area of the place. They all stand or sit around chilling until tomorrows next shift which won't happen.

Sonic: "How long did they have you guys here?"

Civilian: "They had us locked up here for months."

Mazurian: "I've been here for a year. I been escaping but they always catch me right when I'm about to slip away."

Civilian: "You're that princess who escaped

Civilian: "We thought you escaped?"

Sally: "I came back. We need to get you guys out of here. They're going to release the-"

A purplish aurora starts entering the room and people start coughing.

Sally: "SONIC, SPIN DASH US OUT OF HERE!"

Sonic: "Everybody clear the way!"

He starts spinning and the whole crowd who is stuck in the prison ward clears Sonic's path. He fills a whole through the wall. They all scurry through running.

Sonic: "All right everyone, follow me!"

They all follow sonics lead. He leads them to the main building that's burning. It's on fire and Smoke is filling. A Black arm walks in. He has a flamethrower and gas mask. He notices Sonic and the prisoners and aims at their direction.

Sonic: "stand back!"

He pulls out the blade. He steps his foot back and turns the blade backwards positioning around his back. He storm rushes the pyromaniac slices gas tanks. His gas spewing out from the side. He tries to stop it but the fire and room temperature sets the gas on fire traveling on his leg and his body. He tries to run at sonic but blows up. Sonic gets blocked off by debris.

Sally: "Sonic!"

Sonic: "I'm fine. Just get them out."

Sally: "Come on!"

They all run following the princess. They continue through the main building and into the courtyard. Bunny is fighting of more black arm guards. She shoots and punches anyone that gets close to her and the laser.

Sally: "Bunnie!"

Bunnie: "Howdy! move!"

Sally moves as Bunnie aim's near her. She hits dead center of the black arm that was aiming at her from the rooftop. He spins around and falls down.

Sally: "Nice shot!"

Bunnie: "Thanks."

Sally: "Where are the others?"

Bunnie: "They should be here any moment."

While they wait outside for the back up, Sonic is running through the prison fighting off Black arm's. there are plasma blasts and bullets flying towards him from the army that's still packing up. He slashes and speed boosts through crowds of angry Aliens trying to kill him. He makes it to another part of the prison where there are people locked up.

Sonic: "How many people did they kidnap?"

Civilian: "HEY YOU! YOU GOTTA HELP US! THEY'RE GONNA BURN THE EVIDENCE?"

Sonic: "Evidence?"

Civilian 2: "Us! We're the evidence!"

He looks up to see the sky roof barrier. He decides to spin boosts up and smash the window. He does and bounces on the third level of the prison ward.

Sonic remembers what he could do with his blade. He remembers slashing a box in half melting the bars with Blitz. He runs down at the other end of the prison cells where people are screaming and crying out for help. He stands in position and decides to charge up. The gas is starting to get stronger.

Sonic: "I need to hurry. I am starting to feel this stuff and it stings."

He charges up and the blade's electricity starts to gather around him and his blade. It gets brighter and brighter. He charges up and unleashes his storm dash melting and cutting the wall and bars of the cells. He makes it at the other end of the ward in 2.6 seconds. The cells and bars start melting from the insane amount of kinetic energy from the blade. They leave huge openings of molten rusts that falls off.

Sonic: "Hehe, Clean Cut."

He hurries to the other side and charges up. The gas is starting to get worsts on the third level where the vents are placing. He slashes like he did to the other side.

Sonic: "Everyone Hurry and get down now!"

They all hurry with sonic hurrying to the second level. He charges up and cuts the second level as the gas is getting faster through the vents. He slashes the next one and moves on to the final floor. He slashes the final floor. The whole ward is free.

Sonic: "Everyone stick with me!"

They follow him and leads the crowd back through the prison. He leads them out as they all run. He makes it to the burning part and the gas is starting to come out of the first ward they came from.

Sonic: "Get to the courtyard!"

He points them as one leads the way to it. A monster crashes through the rooftop with a whole squad of Black arm's. A big muscular human that's being controlled by them. he is armored and he has a rocket launcher. He's has a latin/Hispanic skin tone.

Behemoth: "As this human would say, "Buenos Noches."

He fires at sonic. He jumps out of the way and runs past the big man. He slides under him and slashes the guns that explodes in the black arms faces. He tucks it back to recharge and runs for his dear life.

Sonic: "Who was that guy?"

He gets to another part of the prison with more prisoners. He runs up the stairs. The gases aroma is taking the area.

Sonic: "Gotta hurry. Its hard to breathe."

He slashes through the cells again, freeing more innocent victims to this place. He runs to the next one freeing more.

Civilian: "Thank you."

Sonic: "Thank me later."

They follow him downstairs. He slashes to the other cells freeing more prisoners and captives. The big guy burst through the doors from the main part of the prison. He aims towards sonic and blows the wall to another hallway.

Sonic: "Everyone get out of here now!"

They all scatter out while sonic distracts the brute force of nature. He gets it's attention and he fires at him. Sonic runs up dodging the missle. He reloads and sonic kicks it out of his grasp into the air. Sonic runs up the behemoth's body and kicks it's chin and backflips off him. He grabs the rocket launcher and fires it towards the behemoth. The explosion damages him but he emerges with only his damaged clothes. Sonic lands and drops the rpg.

Sonic: "You look hard to beat?"

Behemoth: "Mis jefes te consideran una amenaza para su agenda. ¡Debes morir!"

Sonic: "I have no idea what you just said, but bring it on."

He charges at Sonic. Sonic spin charges and dashes at the monster. He catches sonic and tosses him to through the wall. Sonic flies through 5 walls until he hits and lands on a table into the cafeteria.

Sonic: "Uhhhhhgg… *moans*"

The loud stomping of giant emerges from the walls he got sent through. Sonic quickly gets up and dodges the oncoming charge. The behemoth grabs a cafeteria table and tosses it towards sonic. He dodges and crawls through the tables. The behemoth lifts up the table to find him but nothing. It's like he disappeard. Sonic hides on the table the monster lift. He jumps up without him noticing and down kicks him into the face. Sending the behemoth back a little. The behemoth tosses his table to him but he dodges. The behemoth takes something out of his pocket. A grenade. He pulls the pin and tosses it to the blue hedgehog. Sonic runs and catches it. He only has two seconds left to get rid of it. He hurries to the behemoth and he smashes down missing him. He jumps over and pulls his pants back. He plants the grenade within his but cheeks and runs. The explosion makes the beast fall but get back up with nothing but a whole in his back door of the pants and ripped up from the bottom of his ankles. He slams down in rage.

Behemoth: *ROAR*

He charges at Sonic. He runs out the cafeteria down a long corridor. The speed of the brute is as fast as car but sonic is faster than a car. He runs through the hallway with a black arm eye keeping an eye on him. the eye is from Despara.

Jungle field

She is looking at him being chased from the prison wards. She comes back to reality at the open fields of the jungle. She walks to the mystery as they load and leave the prison.

Despara: "That blue hedgehog is freeing the prisoners."

?: "I thought you set off the gas?"

Despara: "I did. Seems that blue mongrel is faster than I thought. He's out running the behemoth right now."

?: "We should go help the behemoth and dragono."

Despara: "Agreed. ALL STATIONS GET TO BASE! 7-3 YOU GET READY FOR OUR ESCAPE!"

7-3: "Yes ma'am."

Prison

As sonic is being chased he reaches another prison ward. The lasts one. He reaches the door. He goes inside and shuts it. He picks up a wooden plank that was left on the floor and bars it. Not gonna stop him but slow him down. He can hear banging but continues with his mission. He only has two levels to do.

Civilian: "Help us!"

He slashes the bars and frees more prisoners. He runs up and cuts out more bars freeing the whole ward. The door smashes open on the lower level. The beasts walks up to the prisoners facing them. they stand there terrified until sonic comes down. He spin dashes towards the behemoth. He kicks the behemoth in the right cheek but he grabs him. he slams sonic on the ground by his leg back and forth. He tosses the blue hedgehog into the wall implanting him in stuck. The prisoners are afraid to do anything as the monster walks up places his hand on sonics neck. He raises his free hand and clutches it hard with his fists. He goes for the swing but a punch is smashed at the behemoths face that's covered by the black arm cloths. He gets sent flying landing on his back. The punch came from a red echidna who just made it. He was catching up to sonic as he was being chased.

Sonic: "What took you so long?"

Knuckles: "I got lost. Everybody get to the courtyard!"

They all run towards the courtyard. He helps sonic out and they get ready for a fight. The behemoth runs out following the prisoners. Sonic and knuckles catch up to him escaping the rest of the gas that's spreading throughout the prison. He chases them out through the fire. He grabs a mobian that was running. Sonic quickly hurries and slices of the behemoths hand, dropping the mobian. His hand drops onto the ground he swings at sonic but misses. Knuckles punches dead center in the stomach and sends him flying outside through a wall. Sonic runs up with blitz. He jumps high and goes for the kill against the behemoth.

Sonic: "Game over Pal."

He aims for the neck but is stopped by a hand who arrives in the knick of time. Sonic misses the behemoth. His sword aiming a few inches away from the neck of the monster. Sonic looks back to see a black arm who is different from the others. She looks human with her jet black skin. Her eyes glowing with a yellow cornea. She has a bandage on her right eye and. A bandage on her arm. Her hair is red.

Despara: "Not so fast."

The behemoth swings at sonic who dodges and jumps out of despara's grip. He falls back next to the wall with knuckles. The behemoth stands up with his bloodied wrist. He holds onto it and compresses it in his shirt.

Despara: "Make sure those prisoners and anyone else don't get out alive. We got everything under control."

The mystery appears out from the cloak. He stands next to her.

Sonic: "Seriously guys? we beat your leader. What makes you think you can take us?"

Despara: "You beat him because he let his emotions take the best of him. Me…"

She raises her hands. Red crystals start forming onto her fingers and hands. She forms a double edged spear that's red.

Despara: "I was bred to be a warrior. I serve to protect the glory of our empire. You must be out of your mind if you think-"

Knuckles: "Blah blah blah, lets get in to it!"

He charges at the woman and sonic charges at the mystery. Sonic spin dashes at the mystery who catches him. he slams him to the ground as the echidna sends punches at the commander of the black arms. She blocks and dodges every punch he sends at her. she ducks from his fists and grabs hold of his fist with stick. She flips him over on his back. He lands and she tries to impale him with the other end of the blade. She misses him and he rolls away from the attacks. He gets up and punches the middle of the staff. She splits it and tries a lower swipe to his stomach. He dodges quick. She throws the staff at him and misses. Her hands start crystalizing again and she has crystalized fists. They both punch and punch the others hand. Knuckles arm's start hurting a bit.

Knuckles: "What is this stuff?"

Despara: "Crystals from the black comet."

She slams him down into the ground.

Knuckles: "Gack.."

He digs underground as she slams again hoping she hits him. Sonic is fighting the mystery sending punches. the mystery takes blocks every punch and kick sonic delivers until he grabs his arm and flips him over. Sonic catches the ground with his feet. He ducks from the oncoming attack the mystery is about to unleash and force his spikes up a bit. An old trick he knows. It knocks the mystery back a bit. Sonic spins on the ground and circles him. he moves around fast circling the mystery until he charges at him. The mystery kicks sonic up in the air. He jumps high sending a kick to the ground. Sonic slams the ground and the mystery lands in front of him.

?: "Your eagerness, your desperation blinds you from the advantage you have."

Sonic ground flares, trying to sweep the mystery. He gets up and boosts at him with a punch. He blocks it and grabs out his knife. Sonic jumps back thinking he was about to stab him. the mystery just aims at sonic.

?: "You lack patience. You have the upper hand but your eyes give you away. Why not bring out the sword?"

Sonic: "You really want this?"

?: "Please. Show me what you can do."

Sonic: "Here I come."

He unleashes the sword and thinks of the bars he slashed with in the prison. He steps back and charges up. The electricity starts surrounding him. the sky starts electrifying down upon him and sonic starts building up electricity. His heart races and speeds up until he storm dashes at the mystery. He speed boosts faster than his regular boosts. He slams into a pole.

Sonic: "Ow. What?"

He missed.

Sonic: "How did I?"

?: "It was quite obvious. You're too predictable. You're fast but you need to know your enemy. No amount of speed will guarantee the victory you need. What makes you think your enemy is not as fasts as you?"

Sonic remembers something like that. Metal Sonic was fasts as him. Shadow was. He remembers the battle in the ice cap with Metal Sonic and his first battle with Shadow. He didn't know how to touch them at first.

?: "Might I suggest a different approach?"

Sonic: "Yeah."

Sonic runs around the mystery fasts. He conjures up a vortex and makes the mystery float. He runs at the mystery with his sword and attacks him while in the air. He blocks with his combat knife and continues to run in the vortex.

?: "Interesting."

Sonic runs around and jumps higher than him. He comes down spin dashing and slams into the mystery. he damages him and makes him fall to the ground.

?: "You catch on fast."

Sonic: "Fasts is everything to me."

The sky is starting to get darker at the night. Looks like it's starting to rain. Sonic runs after the mystery engaging in close combat. He remembers the moves Sally use to use on him and decides to be unpredictable. Each time delivering fast paced attacks. Some moves of his and hers.

Sonic: "Thank you sally for those lessons."

He kicks the mystery and he delivers unpredictable attacks of his own. Sonic and Him fight for giving each other punches and kicks. While those two are at it knuckles gets thrown towards them. Despara runs up with her spear and fists. She tosses it to the mystery who catches it. He cuts sonic across the chest. Sonic slices off the sharp ends but it won't stop him. He uses the sliced ends and knocks sonic to the ground. Knuckles runs up and ground pounds delivering an earthquake. It rocks both of them. noth are trying to control their balance. Sonic runs up to the mystery and knees him in the chest. He flies back and lands. Despara smashes the ground. She picks up a large chunk of rock and tosses it at them. Knuckles stands in front of sonic and smashes it.

Knuckles: "Sonic, team blasts."

Sonic: "Yeah."

He jumps and knuckles grabs him by the legs. He swings him around and around fasts. He tosses him into the air and Sonic spin charges. Knuckles runs towards sonic and jumps into the air. He punches sonic at despara.

Sonic: "BLAST AWAY!"

He bounces around the two like a pinball machine bashing each other with his speed and electricity. He brings out blade and slams the ground releasing the electricity. They fry and collapse for a moment.

Sonic: "All right."

The mystery sits up a bit static-y from the blasts.

Sonic: "Want some more."

?: …

He stands up with the double ended spear. He cracks his neck and runs for sonic. He decides to use it like a baseball bat. He slams sonic into the wall of the prison. Knuckles runs up boxing with the mystery. he sends swings and punches to the mystery. he dodges and bobs and weave from the red menace. He swings his fist that the mystery side flips out of the way. The mystery kicks Knuckles in the stomach. He knees him in the side rib and jumps and back kicks him in the face, knocking him to the ground. The mystery walks over and checks on him. Sonic runs out of the rubble from the prison.

Sonic: "back off creep."

He kicks him in the mask, cracking it. The mystery flies over next to Despara. She helps him up and notices.

Despara: "You're helmet."

The mystery quickly holds on the inside of it so it won't fall off or worst. Knuckles regains consciousness and stands up to fight again.

Sonic: "You go help the others. I'll handle this here.

Knuckles: "Hurry it up here."

Knuckles runs off to aid Sally and Bunnie for the evacuation.

Despara: "You go find the reptile. I'll handle this."

The mystery cloaks and runs off to find Dragono in the armory. Despara makes crystal blades.

Despara: "time to end this."

Sonic: "Alright, bring it on."

He unsheathes the sword. They rush at each other and start sword fighting. They slash and swing at each other with the best skills they know. He uses his combat skills he gained from the training room on the ark. Thanks to his speed helping with a well trained warrior like Despara, he is a match for her. He starts getting faster and she keeps up with him on every second. He remembers what the mystery told him during their fight and decides to be different. He stabs the ground creating an electrical energy that sends her flying up. He jumps and punches her into the stomach.

Despara: "Gahk. Ahh"

He side slashes her but not cutting deep enough fatally and knocks her down to the ground. He bounces down towards her and gets knocked away. She gets up wounded and decides to do some thing else. She forms a battle axe out her crystal power. She tosses it towards sonic who dodges. She forms and tosses more towards him. he runs around and dodges every one of them until she forms crystal shards out of her fist. She aims her fist towards sonic and fires them like she has blaster canons for hands. He runs, dodges and blocks the shards with his blade.

Despara: "Hold still blue rat!"

She makes a long shard and stabs it onto the ground. She runs it across the ground making a screeching noise that hurts sonics ears. She spins around firing a lot in her vicinity and field. Sonic catches one to the arm. He rips it out.

Sonic: "Alright lady. Wanna know how I beat Gloom?"

Despara: "Show me."

He kneels down in track position. The electricity forms heavily around sonic. He dashes towards her at full speed and spin dashes towards her. she blocks his attack but he procedes to continue. He spins faster and faster like he did on the ark when he was facing gloom. The electric surge grows bigger and he starts to grow brighter.

Despara: "So this is how?"

He spins faster breaking and shattering her crystals.

Despara: "Can't hold it."

He slashes and breaks her defense. He runs her to the ground with his feet across the pavement. He didn't need to slash her.

Despara: *Cough* "Damn it."

He bounces back knowing that must've finish the job. She stands up holding her arm and huffing and puffing.

Sonic: "Had enough?"

Despara: "For now. I could've beaten you if I wanted. This is not even my full strength."

Sonic: "That explains your injuries."

Despara teleports.

Sonic: "What the…"

She appears in front of him and punches him in the stomach. He collapses and kneels to the ground.

Despara: "Again, if I wanted to, I would finish you."

Despara looks at Sonic.

Despara: "We're gonna have to continue this later hedgehog."

Sonic: "Why not tonight?"

Despara: "Because my ride is here."

A black wing comes from the sky and lands in front of her missing sonic. She walks upon it and it gets ready to take off.

Despara: "I would suggest you go check on your friends before the behemoth gets to them first."

Sonic: "Thanks for the reminder."

She flies off.

Sonic: "Gotta get to the others."

He runs to the other side of the prison.

Prison courtyard

Bunnie and Knuckles are fighting a monster that's one handed. He rushes towards the people that are hurled up in the yard waiting for evacuation. A bunch of black arm soldiers come and try to hurdle people up. Sally comes in and slashes the guns in half. She fights off three black arms. The others try to shoot sally but are intervened by the prisoners who still have the strength to fight back. They attack and take the guns from them.

Sally: "Thanks guys."

Sonic runs in.

Sonic: "Sorry. Did miss anything."

Sally: "Nope. Still waiting with evacuation."

Sonic: "Speaking off, Hey Bon! Where is our ride?"

Bunnie: "I don't know! Why yall just standing there while we fighting this Bull?"

Sonic: "Oh come on, he's not that strong. Besides I cut off his hand."

Bunnie: "He still as his horns!"

Sonic: "Y'know there's nothing wrong with asking he-"

*Whack*

Sonic: "Ouch!"

Sally: "Help them."

Sonic: "Okay, okay."

He speed boosts. He slides and trips over the behemoths right leg. He slip and trips over. Knuckles jumps high and ground pounds the behemoth in the back. Sally holds his right arm. Sonic runs back and speed boost in the air. He comes down and ground slams his foot into the muscle mans head, knocking him out.

Sonic: "You're welcome."

Knuckles: "Idiot. Bunnie where's that damn transport."

A gust of wind starts approaching and the ships are spotted in the sky.

Sonic: "Just in time."

Bunnie: "I knew somebody must've got ma message."

They land with cargo doors opening.

Sally: "Alright everyone. Get to the ships!"

The all start scattering and running to the nearest open doors. The hundreds of people that were locked in her from men to women and child getting on. The old lady sally met earlier trips and falls. She runs and helps her up again. She helps her to the ship. The four freedom fighters and a lot others hop off and help the prisoners on board. Bunnie picks up the GUN agent that was tortured earlier and takes him to the ship. She checks his pulse. He's still breathing.

Bunnie: "Hey Daniel? You still okay?"

Daniel: *moaning*

Bunnie: "I'll be back for you."

She gets off the ship and regroups with her friends.

Sonic: "Alright so we leaving?"

Knuckles: "Until we get this box on board."

Sonic: "Is that the gas?"

Knuckles: "No the weapon. We could use it for ourselves."

Rotor: "Lets get it on."

Tails: "What is it?"

Sally: "It's some kind of laser."

Knuckles moves it onto one of the ships. A voice is heard calling to them to stop.

?: "I'm gonna have to ask you guys not to take the laser?"

They all look behind them to see the mystery he stands next to the behemoth with Dragono's shoulder wrapped around his neck.

Sonic: "How about you come over here and take it from us?"

?: "I wish not to kill you if I have to, but I will complete my mission one way or another."

Sally: "Are you sure you're fighting the right fight?"

?: "For the betterment of the life on this planet, I say one of them."

Sally: "You don't have to follow gloom."

?: "I know but want to know my purpose. The reason for which I was created."

Sally: "Created?"

?: "Yes. To find the purpose of life."

Sonic: "What is he talking about? Sally you know this guy?"

Sally: …

?: "I believe this world needs me. We ensure the survival of humans and black arms alike. We can't afford to lose."

Knuckles: "Then why did you freaks burn off that guys face from earlier?"

?: "It wasn't my idea. I had no knowledge she would."

Sally: "So do you approve it?"

?: "…I will let the will of the black arms have there way."

Sally: "So you're a slave?"

?: "Slave?"

Sally: "Come with us."

?: …

He pulls out a phone and makes a phone call.

Sally: "What are you doing?"

?: "Effunde bestia. Et nolite aircrafts."

The ground starts shaking they all run back and get on the ships. The mystery brings out the green emerald Gloom loaned him.

Sally: "Wait that's the-"

?: "Hope this works. CHAOS CONTROL!"

He teleports the three of them away somewhere.

Sonic: "That was one of the emeralds!"

The sky is dark. Its starting to rain badly. The wind gets stronger and stronger. Sonic and sally get on board and they start to take off.

Nicole: "Wind and energy levels are getting stronger. I'm reading something coming from the outside. It's huge."

Sally: "What is it?"

Two tentacles grab on to one of the ships. The one with the laser.

Freedom fighter: "Guys. It has one of the ships. We gotta help them."

Rotor comes on the radio.

Rotor: "Guys, it's holding onto us!"

Knuckles: "We need some help over here. That things gotta hit on us."

Sonic pulls out his sword.

Sonic: "Open the cargo doors. Fly us towards them."

Sally: "Sonic?"

He walks up to sally. He grabs her close.

Sonic: "Sorry."

He kisses her. passionately. She gets shocked from it and returns the favor. They both stop.

Sonic: "Be right back."

The cargo doors open. He see's a shadow of the giant. It looks humanoid. It's not human but it has tentacles holding onto the other ship. They fly out around the side of the ship.

Tails: "I can't get close."

Sonic: "NO NEED."

He jumps out from a distance. He charges the blade. Electricity starts to gather around. he charges and charges and curls up in a ball. He spins with the sword in his hand and slashes both the tentacles of the beast. It lets go. Sonic still falls.

Rotor: "We're free. Let's get out of here."

They fly away. Sonic gets caught in mid air. The beast show's its face to him.

Sonic: "What the…"

It's skin is purple and black. It only has one eye like the doom eyes. It's mouth is venomous and demonic. It opens wide with it's multiple tongues ready to consume Sonic.

Sonic: "All right blitz. For the sake of myself and the others. Lets do it."

He shocks the beasts. It lets go and drops him. Sonic starts floating in midair. The electricity surrounding him rapidly in the sky. He starts growing brighter and brighter and brighter until he unleashes all of it. Sally watches with the others from a distance. A bright blue light shocking and flashing from a distance.

Sonic: "HHHAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

The power from the blade brings down a electric hammer from the sky, shocking the monster. It feels it and starts smoking around it's body. It squals out and flies away into atmosphere. It disappears. Sonic lets all of the shocking electricity out and he is tapped out. He falls from the sky unconscious. He falls and falls until something catches him. Someone. It's hard to see who it is. In fact surprisingly someone he was just fighting.

?: "You must live. You will."

Sonic is in his arms unconscious. The place is burning to the ground. Whatever prison exist there, doesn't anymore.
