Alrighty. The start of the camp.

I think the kids with evolutions this time around will be Ochaco, Shoto, and Kaminari… Maybe Jiro as well.

Before we continue, I've got some answers to some comments on Ao3. So first. I will add more tags, I've just been focused on actually writing the story and not really focused on how it looks when posted. To be honest, I didn't think the story would make it this far.

So anyways, let's go! Next chapter!

The two UA busses parked at the top of a tall cliff. From there, the students could see a great expanse of forest. About ten kilometers away, a rooftop poked out of the trees.

Izuka leaned against the motorcycle she had driven. Nezu stood next to a group of four heroes. The Wild Wild Pussycats smiled as the forty students filed off of the bus. Toga winked at Izuka as she passed. Izuka smirked.

Mandalay stepped forward. "Hello everybody! I'm sure that you remember us from the sports festival."

The students looked confused. Pixie Bob leapt forward with Tiger and Ragdoll.

"We're the Wild Wild Pussycats!"

The four struck a pose. Izuka chuckled a bit, causing Pixie Bob to glare. "What's she doing here?"

Izuka doubled over laughing. "You guys are really funny!"

Aizawa groaned. The students looked confused.

"Yeah… what is she doing here?"

"The support course is here too?"

Aizawa shook his head. "She's technically in the hero course. Since she doesn't have a quirk, our class isn't suited for her. But that's not the reason she's here. Nezu brought her."

"We needed an extra line of defense, just in case okay?"

The pussycats sighed. "Well. If she's here, she can take part in the exercises."

The hero students suddenly smiled demonicly, except for about half of class 1-A. Izuka shrugged. "Fine by me."

Mandalay clapped her hands. "Good. With that out of the way, if you look down the mountain, you'll see the camp located there."

Bakugo flexed his hands. He knew what was coming. Kirishima, Ochaco, Mina, and Shoto noticed as well. Jiro felt their heartbeats quicken, and readied herself. Iida walked towards the bus.

"Alright everybody back on the-"

Izuka stood before him. "I don't know if you could tell sir… but the camp has already begun."

The hero students began freaking out.

"SHIT!"

"Quickly! Get to the bus!"

Pixie Bob grinned. "If you make it there before noon, you'll be just in time for lunch."

The hero pressed her paws into the ground, which began crumbling. The students all tumbled down into the forest below.

"That should- HUH?"

Izuka sat on the edge rail of the cliff. "Wow Pixie Bob… That was overkill."

"GET DOWN THERE AND GO!"

"Alright. Just had to give Nezu the keys."

"Keys?"

Izuka tossed the motorcycle keys to the principal, who mounted the vehicle and started it. "Race you there."

And with that, Izuka glowed a dull white, before exploding over the treetops. Mandalay watched her go with shock as several readings came up on her goggles.

"She can't be human."

Nezu smiled. "She isn't. She's ascended."

The rodent sped off down the road towards the camp.

Bakugo blasted through a beast made completely of dirt clods. "Damn, this is a beasts forest…"

Kirishima grinned and hardened up, before body slamming a beast into oblivion. "Well, we can only push ahead!"

Ochaco nullified gravity on a beast and hurled it into the sky. "If we don't make it in time, we won't get lunch!"

Todoroki froze a beast in a giant spire of ice. "Let's move."

Mina and Jiro both destroyed beasts on their own before dashing along as well. A certain girl with green hair and a frog tongue watched them. Tsuyu reached into her pocket and pulled out a black sailors cap.

"My turn. My day is today."

The students behind her were in shock as she disappeared. Tsuyu had never shown her camouflage skill to her classmates. She had trained herself to hold it for three hours without rest. With a kick that broke the earth beneath her feet, Tsuyu launched after the lead group.

Izuka arrived at the campground with Toga after five minutes. Nobody else was there yet, so it seemed. The two sat down next to the main building as a motorcycle drove up.

"So you did beat me here. Ah! Young Yuko as well. The Pussycats are certainly in for a surprise!" Nezu said.

"How did you even drive that?" Toga asked.

"The shoes I wear can extend. That's only this pair though. The others are just normal shoes!"

"Ah. I see." Toga giggled. "That makes sense."

Nezu smiled sweetly. "I'm glad somebody understands."

The UA busses pulled into the driveway. "HOW DID YOU GET HERE SO FAST?"

"We could've gone faster." Izuka yawned.

Toga chuckled. "Besides, we can help you unload all of the camp stuff."

The hero group and the two students began working together to bring in the camping supplies. The pussycats noticed that 'Shinama' and 'Yumi' didn't bring much of anything.

"You guys gonna be good for food and stuff?"

Izuka shrugged. "I don't eat much. I'll be fine."

"Same here."

The pro heroes gave them a worried look. "You sure? The stuff that you brought would only last a normal person a day!"

Izuka rolled her eyes. "You all need to stop worrying so much."

Pixie Bob grabbed the girl by her wrist. "No. You two need to sit down and talk to us. This amount of food normally signals an eating disorder. Please, we just want to make sure that you're okay."

Izuka huffed. "How about we finish bringing the stuff in. Then we can talk."

The hero bit her lip. "Okay. fine. But we will be talking about this. Nezu, I hope you will join us in this talk."

Nezu nodded. "I will."

"Alright. Let's get the rest of the stuff in here."

Bakugo tore through another line of dirt beasts with black whip. One For All boosted his speed, and he zoomed through the forest, making sure to clear a path for those behind him.

Kirishima surprisingly kept up. He smashed through everything that got in his way. "So Katsuki! You think we'll be the first one's there?"

Bakugo grinned. "Doubt it! But we'll see!"

A little ways behind them, Ochaco carved through the forest with Shoto. The two used combo attacks to light the beasts up and throw them into the sky. The resulting explosions looked like fireworks.

"Bakugo and Kirishima have the lead!"

"So? I'm with you!" Shoto said nonchalantly.

Ochaco blushed. "You know what? Yeah! Who cares! We're together and that's what matters!"

Jiro vaulted over a dirt monster and into their path. "HEADS UP!"

Ochaco flipped onto her hands and pushed off of the ground. The dirt monster leapt overtop of her trajectory and was frozen by Todoroki. Ochaco passed through the frozen beast, shattering it.

"Hey. Thanks!"

Mina skated by with a grin. "See you at the end!"

As the pink girl skated by, a tree fell down, blocking Todoroki and Ochaco. Three dirt monsters emerged from the woods, surrounding the two students.

"Shit…"

"You think we can take 'em?"

"Yeah. It's just gonna be such a drag."

Out of nowhere, one of the beasts exploded. Tsuyu materialized before her two classmates. "Hey guys *Kero* Let me take care of these."

Ochaco looked at the frog. Her clothes were tighter than she remembered. Had she always had that hat? The look suited her."

"GO!"

"Right!"

Ochaco and Shoto vaulted the log as Tsuyu disappeared once again. The last two dirt monsters exploded, and the frog girl continued on her way.

Izuka sat down with a sigh as Mandalay, Nezu, and Aizawa took their seats. The three teachers would be the one's talking to Her and Toga.

"So… you guys brought how much food again?" Aizawa raised an eyebrow.

Izuka rolled her eyes. "Enough to be happy."

"HAPPY? YOU CAN BE HAPPY WITH THIS?" Mandalay held up a small grocery bag with some granola bars and two bottles of water. "THIS ISN'T ENOUGH FOOD FOR A WEEK!"

Izuka scoffed, as did Toga. "Says you."

"Look girls. Are you okay? Seriously. This suggests that you might have an eating disorder." Nezu said calmly.

Izuka shrugged. "Food just isn't really something I think I need."

"You can't seriously think that." Aizawa said.

Toga rolled her eyes. "I mean, does it really affect what we can and can't do?"

"Yes. In fact, you can be severely hindered due to the lack of energy from not eating enough." Aizawa grumbled.

"Look. If you want to pick on anybody's eating habits, pick on those of your students. We made it here faster than you did, and you were on vehicles. If you really think we need to eat more, then we will. I'll just call Hatsume to warp us some extra food."

The three adults discussed it for a while.

"Okay. We don't necessarily think it's the greatest idea. But we will settle on that for now. We'll make sure that the other heroes arriving bring food as well."

The two girls nodded. "Okay. Fine."

Mandalay's headset beeped. "That's Pixie Bob. We have our first- well, third and onward arrivals."

"I honestly didn't expect them to make it that quickly." Aizawa said.

"You should have more faith in your students if you expect them to survive the coming hardships." Nezu said.

"Let's go greet them shall we?" Mandalay smiled.

Bakugo, Kirishima, Ochaco, Shoto, Mina, Jiro, and Tsuyu had all made it back to camp. To say the regular heroes were impressed was an understatement. The only ones who impressed Izuka were Tsuyu, Ochaco, Mina, and Shoto.

All seven hadn't even broken a sweat. That was some decent technique and power that they had.

"I CALL DIBS ON YOU KITTENS!" Pixie Bob leapt at the seven students. She started to go about 'grooming' them.

"Has she always been like this Mandalay?"

The pro hero sighed. "She's been looking for a mate. It's just gotten worse with her age."

"HEY!" The hero glared. "I'M STILL EIGHTEEN AT HEART!"

Izuka chuckled. The other students began emerging from the forest. They were all scraped up and panting. Save for a few.

Denki Kaminari, Momo Yaoyorozu, Tenya Iida, and Fumiyo Tokoyami all stood proudly. They had made it without getting hurt or running out of stamina.

"Okay. well, you all got here before lunch. So we have the food there. Next we'll explain the purpose of this camp and do some stretches, as well as combat drills. After that, we'll all have dinner, and settle in for the night. Any questions?"

Neito Monoma raised his hand and pointed to a small child wearing a baseball cap. "Who's the kid?"

The child glared at the hero course. He found it odd that Izuka and Toga both smirked at him. Mandalay turned to him.

"This is my niece Kota. She lives with us after- well, I'm not allowed to say. Anyways, she'll be helping us keep watch over you all, so no funny business."

Izuka smiled as the heroes began explaining the camp. She was allowed to wander for the time being, so she went to talk to Kota.

"Hey there. How are you?"

The little girl looked up at Izuka with angry eyes, which immediately softened as she saw her scar. "Who are you?"

Izuka smiled. "My name's not really important, but if you really wanna know, I'm Yumi Shoudai!"

The girl didn't smile back. "Hmmph. Stupid."

Izuka chuckled. "Well that's not very hero like."

"Hmmph. Who wants to be a hero anyways?" The girl sniffed.

As they were talking, the heroes finished up their explanation. Neito Monoma and Minoru Mineta walked over. "Hey there! How are you?"

"You're really cute! I didn't know that the pussycats were raising a kid!"

Kota glared and punched both boys in the crotch, causing them to double over. Tenya rushed over to check on his fellow classmates.

"HOW DARE YOU? WICKED CHILD!"

Izuka chuckled silently. Kota looked up at the scarred girl in wonder. Mandalay rushed over to apologize.

"I am so sorry. Kota. Apologize."

The girl glared at the two students. "Sorry." She said curtly, before walking over to Izuka and sitting in her lap. Mandalay stared.

"Y-you're okay with her?"

Kota shrugged. "She gets me."

Mandalay bowed to Izuka. "Yumi… you are the first person to gain Kota's trust. I can't thank you enough. If she'd like you to, you may spend the rest of today watching her."

Izuka smiled. "That sounds fun. Come on Kota!"

The scarred girl led the child away from where the students would be training. They made their way into the main lodge.

"So. What do you want to do first?"

Kota looked up at Izuka. "Can we go to the hot springs? I won't get to be there later because I have to watch the wall."

"The wall?" Izuka asked.

Kota nodded. "The wall separates the girls and boys springs. Mandalay told me there's a perv in the hero course, so I have to watch the wall."

Izuka nodded. "Okay. Lead the way Kota."

The child led Izuka to a changing room. They both removed their clothes. Kota marvelled at Izuka's body as they showered.

"You're really muscly."

Izuka smiled. "Really? I never noticed. Haha…"

The girl took Kota's hand and they both stepped into the hot springs. Kota sank into the water and sighed, before looking at Izuka.

The scarred girl lowered herself into the pool of water. Kota had seen the scar on her face, but now the little girl saw all of her. Scars littered her body from head to toe. Izuka was muscly, but thin. Kota could see her lower ribs poking out a bit.

"Hey… Miss Yumi… you have a lot of scars…"

Izuka smiled at the little girl as she sunk in all the way. "Yes… I do…"

"Is it okay if I ask about them?"

Izuka smiled. "It's no problem at all Kota. How about this. You ask me about a scar, I'll ask you something about you! Is that okay?"

The little girl nodded and pointed to a line of scars on Izuka's back. "What are those from?"

"Those? They're from an invention I made. My friend Hatsume and I were testing it and it went haywire. We both got scratched up quite a bit."

Kota smiled. "Okay. Now it's your turn!"

"Okay… Do you have a favorite hero?"

Kota's face soured. "I don't like heroes…"

Izuka smirked. "Okay then, who do you like?"

"I thought that the one guy on the news was cool. He killed people, I know that's bad. But it scared some heroes. And now they won't die. So that's good right?"

Izuka smiled. "That is good. Now, it's your turn to ask me."

Kota pointed to a line of hand shaped scars that marched up Izuka's arms. "What about those scars?"

Izuka smiled at them. Her most cherished memory of Katsuki. The day he tried out bigger explosions… "These are… from a person who I thought was my friend…"

"You thought?"

"Kota… do you know about quirkless people?"

The little girl nodded. "I want to be one…"

Izuka stared. "You… want to be quirkless?"

Kota nodded. "I wouldn't have this curse… it reminds me of them… It would be easier."

Izuka laughed. She laughed so hard that it hurt. Kota looked at her confusedly. "Ah… that was great Kota… If you're serious. Then I don't know what could've happened…"

"Is there something wrong with quirkless people?"

Izuka brought the little girl close. "No little one. There isn't. And I'm glad you feel that there isn't."

"Why?"

"Because I'm quirkless." Izuka smiled. "So I can tell you that you have it good."

Kota's eyes sparkled. "You're quirkless? That's so cool!"

Izuka nodded. "Yes. But again. Quirkless people don't have it as easy as you think."

"What do you mean."

Izuka sighed. "For most of my life… I was treated like an animal… I have come to believe that I am lesser. I'm not as good as anybody else."

"But you are! You're so cool! There's no way that anybody can be better than you!"

Izuka chuckled at the outburst. "Thank you. Recently, I think about how I am really great. How I'm not the lowest of the low, but then these scars itch…"

"They itch?' Kota tilted her head to one side. "That doesn't make sense…"

Izuka smiled. "Yeah… it doesn't really… anyways. Any time I think about how I'm not an animal… these scars are there to remind me. I am, and always will be, less than human."

Kota hugged Izuka closely. "I think that you're better than human oneechan."

Izuka blushed at the girl calling her 'Older sister'. "Oneechan? You see me as a sister?"

Kota looked up at Izuka's scarred face. "Is that okay?"

Izuka smiled lovingly. "It's perfect…"

The two sat in the hot spring for a little while longer, talking about heroes, villains, and Izuka's scars. After a while, they both got up and dried off, before returning to Mandalay.

"Did you two have a good time?"

"We went to the hot spring. I thought that I should do some training before dinner." Izuka said. "Do you want to watch me Kota?"

"Sure!"

Mandalay smiled as the little girl followed Izuka over to a test dummy. Izuka showed Kota how to do a proper punch and kick.

"It's good to see her finally warming up to someone…"

Sorry for the late chapter. I've been pretty busy this weekend. I'll try to get back on top of the story. I'm working with a fem Kota for this story. I like it better that way, and I've never seen it been done before.

So I might bring Kota into the league… I might not. It depends. I'd have to make the reasons make sense. Maybe Kota would join to help keep true heroes alive. I don't know yet. We'll discuss it more next chapter.

Until Next Time
