Back On The Case Part 1
A few days after Lisa and Rafael set Romina up with Valentino, Lisa, Carole, KC, Melanie, Jess, Stevie, Kristi, Rafael, Liam, Phil, Michael, Elle, and Connor all met Veronica outside the Winston Riding Institute entrance.
"So, Veronica," Elle said. "you said at Lisa's that you had information about who sent Collin and Clinton to cause grief for Lisa?"
"Yes, I did." Veronica answered Elle.
"Well, Veronica," Melanie said impatiently. "start naming names! Who was it?"
"Melanie! You should learn to be a bit more patient with people!" Lisa scolded sharply.
"Sorry for my impatience, Veronica." Melanie apologized.
"That's quite all right, Melanie." Veronica said.
"Spill it, Veronica." Stevie said.
"It was," Veronica said. "Neville Cowlin."
Lisa, Carole, KC, Melanie, Jess, Stevie, Kristi, Rafael, Liam, Phil, Michael, Elle, and Connor could not believe what they heard from Veronica's mouth.
"Neville goes here now!" Lisa exclaimed.
"I'm afraid so." Veronica sighed.
"Everyone," Rafael warned. "keep your eyes on your possessions!"
Elle and KC gave Rafael a confused look.
"Why is that, Rafael?" Elle and KC asked in unison.
"Neville was the one who stole my first guitar and false bottomed guitar case, all the money my mother and I had saved was in the false bottom of that case, Neville threw my guitar and its case into the river." Ravael revealed to KC and Elle.
Elle and KC had shocked expressions on their faces.
"So, that was why Aunt Eleanor bought Diablo for Lisa," Elle exclaimed. "you and your mother needed the money way more than you needed the horse!"
