Lazy Summer Days

"It was really nice of your red headed humans to invite us to The Burrow for a few days," Bane said lazily as he spooned his beloved mate on the soft grass while they basked in the summer heat. "These last few days have been just what we needed before you start your final year as a student...watching the red head human father and his obsession, listening to the twin devils use the word 'awesome' to many times and listening to nature."

"I like playing the melody on a piece of grass you taught me," Harry said with a happy sigh. "This is perfection, well nobody's perfect but no one is heartbroken and we are almost at the end of the war."

"The stars tell me that nothing that's worthwhile is ever easy," Bane said as he ran a hand over his mates body making Harry give a slight giggle. "You know...when this war is over...after all it is coming to an end since we have destroyed the soul pieces I was wondering about the future."

Harry let out a happy and relaxed hum. "The future?"

"Yes, the future but I have to control myself as I can't exactly fight a war with a big smile on my face," Bane answered as he allowed the pain from his over used muscles to disappear thanks to the heat of the sun. "And I cannot help but to find myself not able to say sorry as the world seems to agree with me. If I am wrong then I am wrong for you and only you."

"Honestly Bane, even after being romantically involved for just over a year now I still find it hard to understand you when you talk in riddles like this," Harry said with a lazy yawn as he laid his head on his mates shoulder and closed his eyes. "If you have a question to ask, just say it."

"When you graduate from school and the war is over...how many foals do you want to have?

End of Drabble.
