Zen would never waste time, so instead of sleeping, he entered an instant dungeon.

"I need elementals. It knocks me out for 6 hours, and that's why I've been hesitant to use it, but every day is life and death, so I can no longer afford to just avoid it. The anime dungeons can wait."

Zen dismissed the screen, and then brought up the description of his elemental skill.

[Summon Elemental] (Lv 1)
The ability to gain any affinity in order to summon any elemental. The various summoning rituals have been learned by the user.
This skill costs varying amounts depending on what elemental is summoned.

"If this is the case... what elemental would be a game changer for me?" Zen called out his Shadows, and in an instant, a small army spread out around him.

"You all can't control the elements, simple because, you don't really need to, correct?" Zen asked, gaining a uproar of agreement from his soldiers.

"Annie, Nix, Baruka, Igris, what elemental should I get?" Zen asked his top soldiers, excluding Ikari due to his newer position in the army.

"Honestly, I don't know if we should be trusting these creatures, My King." Baruka spoke up first, bringing up his worries.

"I must agree. His instincts as the Hyakki leader are unparalleled. What's stopping these creatures from hurting you, My Liege?" Nix questioned, and from Igris and Annie's silences, Zen assumed that they agreed.

"Well... nothing is stopping them. But even if they do, I have all of you to protect me, right?" Zen grinned at his Shadows, causing for some to grow flustered, while others grew more determined.

"If that is truly the case, then I suggest an elemental that truly captures how you may need some extra help. Whether that would be flooding your enemies with heat, or literally flooding them with water. You're extremely versatile as is, but if I would have to say something about how your Mana works." Igris's deep voice spoke, catching the Shadow Soveriegn's attention.

"An elemental made of Mana... is that even possible?" Zen's eyebrows burrowed, as he at least tried it.

As he thought about summoning a Mana Elemental, a notification appeared.

[Elemental Summoning Contract!]
In order to summon an elemental a few requirements must be met.
For a Basic Mana Elemental to be summoned:

1. Must be level 100
2. Must have a base Mana total of 100,000
3. Must have at least 500 INT and 250 WIS

When this skill is activated, the user will be knocked out for 14 hours.

[Cannot confirm yet, requirements have not been met!]

"Wow, I guess that's to be expected though. I am summoning an elemental out of pure energy." Zen sighed, as he looked up to his Elementals.

"This is gonna be an odd request, but if I don't wake up in time for the mining job, can one of you go instead?" He asked, and instantly gained a nod from each of his Commanders.

"We will cover for your responsibilities to the best of abilities, My Lord." Annie reassured her king.

"Well, if this is truly the case, then I guess I'll do it." Zen pulled up his stats, and brought his Wisdom up to 250 with his stat points.

[WIS: 184 - 250]

[Due to hitting 250 WIS, you have gained a new skill.]

[Scholar's Regen] (Lv 1)
The best magician's regenerate Mana at unparalleled speeds, but the master magician's help their allies regen with even better speeds. This skill helps allies with Mana regeneration when they fight alongside you. As this skill levels up, your energy can do various things to help your allies.

"Now, let's go ahead and confirm." Zen confirmed the contract, and as he did, a summoning circle came to his mind.

"Can't I just..." Zen held his hand to the ground, and copied the summoning circle.

"Perfect." Zen took a deep breath, before calling out for his elemental. "I, Zen Han, call upon you!"

"Come Forth, Mana Elemental!" Zen called, an absolute ton of his Mana being drained from his Mana.

His drained Mana swirled into a small girl, looking at most 10 years old. She was tiny, and looked unsettlingly close to a goth.

"What did you call me for?" The elemental's voice radiated in Zen's head, causing for him to continue the contract.

"I bring you an immortal contract. My true name is Zen Han. I give you my true name, will you give me yours?" The elemental stood silent, but suddenly Zen was thrown into an experience he hadn't felt before.

He felt like he was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, his body strung across millions upon millions of planets, realities, and universes.

People, monsters, everything tapped into his energy, using it for whatever they so much as wished for.

Hurting others, ruling the world, cheating the system.

Helping others, saving the world, following the system.

It meant nothing to him.

Then, he woke up. He suddenly opened his eyes, as the elemental made of Mana stood upon his hand, he was brought back to reality.

Now he understood her. "My name is Fali. I'm Fali. Are you Zen?" Her voice rang out in Zen's head, causing him to nod in response.

"Yes, I'm Zen." Zen smiled down at the little elemental. She looked back up with a blank face, with a very small smile on her face.

"I like you. Do you like me, Zen?" Fali asked, gaining a headpat from Zen. "Yeah, I like you too." With that, Zen brought felt a contract to its very final stages.

"I am Fali."

"I am Zen." The two spoke at the same time.

"Until the end of time, we will share our souls as one. Til the end, we will be together. This is the immortal contract." With those final words, their energies fused, finishing the contract.

A large blast of energy radiated from where the two were, even blinding Zen's loyal Shadow Soldiers.

There the elemental was, looking slighty different compared to before. The girl didn't visually change too much, only getting larger, to the size of a real girl her age.

"Make sure to call me a lot!" She giggled, her voice actually carrying now, causing for Zen to open his eyes a little wider, but then he relaxed soon after.

"Yeah, I will." Zen smiled at the elemental, before she dissapeared in a veil of Shadows, seeming to almost fall into the ground.

"Geez..." Zen fell back, only for Annie to be there, his head falling onto her thighs. Normally she would've been extremely flustered, with the one and only Shadow Sovereign resting on her lap of all places, but she could tell that he just needed to rest.

"Are you okay, My Lord?" Annie asked, her voice as soft as he had ever heard before. "Yeah... I'll tell you all about it... later." He passed out, for the first time in months.
