Erin's pov: it's been a few weeks since jay found little Porter in that bad house where he was so scared. And now it's been a few weeks since we started fostering him too. It's Been going great with both kids. It was rough for the first week were Porter only wanted jay but after a while he warmed up to me after a while. At first he had a lot of nightmares but once he felt comfortable with us we started letting him sleep in the room with Camryn. Right now I am 20 weeks pregnant which is crazy that I am half way through my pregnancy. I have been feeling this baby since I was 15 weeks pregnant. And jay and the kids have only felt the baby kick a few times in the last couple weeks. I just stared to really show the last couple of weeks so now everyone knows there's a baby in my belly. Right now me and Vanessa are doing some paper work while everyone is out catching the bad guys today
VR= man I'm never though I would hate paper work even more than I do now
E= tell me about it I'm just glad I'm not alone this time
VR= I think it's sucks more because they get to have all the fun while we sit here
E= totally agree so I haven't asked you in a while how are you doing
VR =not to bad the morning sickness finally went away but now I have some very bad heartburn
E=Oh I know how you are feeling I had some bad morning sickness when I was pregnant with Camryn then it went away so that's good I did have some heartburn toward the end of my pregnancy but it wasn't that bad
VR= lucky you if it's not one thing it's another when you pregnant
E= totally agree ( hears footsteps) I guess girl time is over with now
VR= I guess it is
AR= hey how's the paper work ladies
E= not to bad how was the bust
AD= we got everyone of the members so I say it was a good one
VR= that's good to hear
KA&J= there are the beautiful ladies of the 21st district
E= haha did you guys rehearsed that
KA= yes we did
VR= of course they since they are such dorks
J= we made me dorks but you love us
E= of course we do ( Kevin and jay kiss their girls )
KB= hey you four
KA= hey Burgess what's up
KB= I was just wonderingly couple things
VR= sure Kim what's up
KB= well do any of you guys want to know what you're having before you guys give birth or do you want to wait until you do
E= well I haven't thought about it but why not just to make sure I have what I need for this one
VR= yeah I feel the same way
KB= great so that brings me to my next question
J= which is what Kim
KB= can I throw you guys a gender reveal party
KA= I think that sounds great Kim
E= sure can why not
VR= i'm down hey at least we are around the same amount of weeks pregnant so we can have a big party for us both
E= oh yeah that's a good point
KB= Great I'm so happy you guys said yes
KA= you're the best Kim
KB= I know I am ( starts to walk away) oh before I forget when is your guys next doctors appointment
VR= mine is on Wednesday
E= so is mine what time is your appointment
VR= mine is at 11 am
E= wow mine is at 10 am
J= maybe we should all carpool to the doctors appointment on Wednesday
KA= that's a great idea Jay
VR= how about we leave and grab something to eat before the appointments
E= Great idea see you guys Wednesday
KB= well when you are at the doctors have her call me with the general results and I'll plan something for you guys on Sunday
KA= all right thanks Kim
J= again you are the best
KB= I know I am ( walks away )
Me and Vanessa finish up the paperwork we were working on and then we decided while everybody else does their paperwork we go and get them some lunch. About 45 minutes later we came back right when everyone was done so now we all eat our lunch together. A couple days later it was time for a doctors appointment I woke up first because I had to Pee when I came back into the bedroom Jay was sitting up and waiting for me on our bed
E= sorry if I woke you
J= no it's no big deal what woke you up this time morning sickness?
E= no I had to pee very badly this kid is already learning to kick my bladder so hard
J= oh man that must suck
E= it does what time is it
J= it's 7 AM right now
E= all right we have a little bit before we have to get up and get ready Kevin and Vanessa will be here at 8:30
J= well that gives us enough time to cuddle so come here
E= (she does) this is my favorite thing
J= I know it is you like my big strong arms around you don't you
E= I always do you make me feel safe and at home in your arms
J= that's my plan
We cuddle for about a half an hour and then get up and get dressed about 20 minutes later we all are dressed and ready just waiting on the nanny or Kevin and Vanessa to show up first .
J= ( knocking) I wonder which showed up first
E= Who knows maybe all of them at once
J= ( Open the door) I guess you're right because all of them are here
E= well that works out coming guys
J= thanks for coming today and I know it's your day off and all
PS= it's no problem
KA= so where is my favorite little girl at
E= sadly for you Kevin she is still asleep
KA= it's fine I'll see her again soon
J= so Peyton the kids are still asleep but they should be up here soon so if you have any issues with Porter just call us
PS= all right I will now you four a girl and check on your babies for me
E= we will let's go this pregnant lady is hungry
VR= I agree with Erin I'm starving
KA= all right let's go

We head to the local diner and eat some breakfast
E= so before we go in do you guys have an idea what you will be having
VR= I am 100% that we are having a little boy
KA= I am thinking we are having a girl and I hope she looks like her mother
J= oh how sweet if you have a daughter Kevin be prepared to have her wrapped around yours big strong fingers
VR= sounds like you are talking from experience
E= oh he is I think you guys are having a boy too
J= I think I agree with Kevin that you guys are having a little girl
VR= well we will see here in the next few days if the girls are right or the boys will be right for once
E= hopefully it's us girls who are right not the boys
KA= we will see what about you guys do you think you're having another girl or do you think you're finally getting your boy this time around
J= I want it to be a boy obviously but I have this feeling it's another girl
E= well I have a feeling this one is going to be a boy and I hope he looks like his dad
VR= so sweet and I agree with you Erin again I think you are having a baby boy so that means these babies will be best friends for life
KA= I think you guys are having a girl also can't wait to see who is rights
E= same how about if we are right you guys give us a foot massage
VR= Great idea and if you win we will take you out and we will pay for dinner how does that sound
J= I don't know about you Kevin but that sounds like a pretty good deal
KA= oh yeah that's a deal my ladies
The waitress brings out our food so we eat and make small talk for about 30 minutes and then after we get done we all head off to the doctors office we arrive within 20 minutes: we both check in and wait to be called back about 15 minutes later
DN= Erin Halstead and Vanessa Atwater

DN= why don't you both go to exam room 4
E= all right
DN= I'll have Erin get up on the table 1st and then the doctor will be here shortly
J= all right thank you
KA= is it weird that we're all in here together
VR= yeah it seems a little weird ( knocking)

BD= hey you guys I bet you were wondering why you guys are all in here at once and not separate
E= oh yeah
BD= well here in the last couple days I got scheduled to do a couple sessions I didn't want to change your appointment so I told my nurse if you showed up together then put you in the same room so i could get you both done at the same time does that make sense
J= oh yeah it makes perfect sense
KA= makes sense
BD= all right Erin are you ready to see your baby
E= yes I am
BD= all right lift your shirt up ( she does and puts the wand on her stomach) and there is your baby
J= that baby has grown so much since we saw it last
E= yes it has
BD= so before I go any further do we want to know the gender of this baby now or just wait
J= well we do but can you write it down and after we leave call our friend Kim because she plans on doing us a gender reveal party in the next few days
VR= same for us Dr.
BD= all right I can do that ( five minutes later) all right it's time for everyone to close their eyes
E= all right ( they do )
BD= and you can open them up now
J= did you get the gender
BD= yes I did so everything else looks perfect so I will see you back in eight weeks
E= all right thanks doctor
Once I get off the table it was nothing to assist her doctors does the same thing we did and then once we were all done we all headed home to be with our kids on the day off
Kim's pov; it's so crazy that two out of the four female cups in the unit replacement I'm so happy for everyone couple days ago I decided that I wanted throw from a gender real party which they agreed to. I told them to have the doctor call me when they get done so I can other genders and start planning the party. Today is my day off and it's the day of the appointment so right now I am a waxing on the couch waiting on the phone call from the doctor about a half an hour later my phone rings
KB= hello
BD= is this Kim Burgess
KB= yes it is
BD= Great this is Erin halstead and Vanessa Atwater doctor I hear you would like to know the gender of their babies
KB= yes I would
BD= all right first up is Vanessa she is having a baby...
KB= wow that's amazing
BD= and for Erin she is having a baby
KB= wow that's crazy thanks for doing this doctor
BD= it's no problem talk to you later
KB= same to you Dr. bye have a nice day
Once I got off the phone with the doctor I go and start planning the best gender reveal party ever
Jay's POV: it's been a few weeks since I found a little Porter in that bad house and ever since in life has been pretty crazy Since we decided to foster him . It's it's been great to have two kids in this house. Erin he's halfway through her pregnancy right now which seems crazy that it's going by so fast. The other day we went to a doctors appointment to find out what we are having but since Kim wanted to throw us a general reveal party we have to wait a couple extra days today is the day of the party right now we are all relaxing on the couch watching a movie together
J= babe what time did Kim tell us to be there for the party
E= she told me we need to be there at two
J= all right that gives me more time to snuggle with my favorite people
E= couldn't agree more .., it also works out that when the kids go down for the nap we can get ready when they are asleep so when they wake up we can leave pretty much right away
J= that's a very good point babe maybe play around scrabble while we're at it
E= Jay Alexander there are children around
J= yeah but they only think it's a board game they don't know it's a codeword for S-E- X
E= whatever Jay but maybe if you are lucky
J= oh I'm very lucky today
A couple hours later we laid the kids down for their nap as they were asleep we jumped in the shower and played around scrabble. After the shower we just laid in bed for a little bit just relaxing. After a while me and Erin get dressed about 30 minutes later both kids wake up
E= I guess the kids up now
J= oh yeah I'll go get them you just relax
E= all right you're the best
J= I know I am ( in the kids room) good afternoon kiddos did you sleep well
PJ= yes I did
CN= yes
J= that's good to hear so are we ready to go to the party
PJ= I guess
J= are you still a little scared to meet more people
PJ= yes I am
J= well most of the people at the party are people you have already met and the rest of them are very nice people believe me all right
PJ= all right
J= now let's get you both dressed so we can head out soon
I get them both dressed and we go to the living room to meet up with Erin
E= there you guys are did you sleep well
J= yes they did they had some bed head when they woke up.
E= well that's good ( bends down ) so Porter do you want to take a guess on what you think I'm having
PJ= sure my guess is a girl
J= let's hope not well speaking of guessing Camryn thanks we are having a boy that's what she told me in the bedroom
E= I bet she did so everything is packed let's go to the party
J= all right let's go
We all get in the car and head to the party location we arrive within 20 minutes

E= why thanks Kim I don't feel it

KB= oh how sweet is he

J= well this is Porter me and Erin are fostering him

NM= they went to play on the playground
E= okay that's cool why don't you Porter and Camryn go join them
WH= all right I'll take them come on guys

WH= he is a little shy
E= he has gotten better since when he first came to live with us
WH= are you ready to go now Porter
J= it will be okay

NM= so Jay don't you think you'll be out numbered or do you think you have a baby boy finally
J= I hope it's a boy but I have this feeling it's going to be another girl
NM= well me and will think it will be a boy also you guys need a boy
Over the next half an hour all of our just show up and then we start catching up with everyone
S= hey Erin hey jay
E= hey Stella where is Kelly
S= he is playing with the kids
J= well he is a big kid himself
E= oh that he is maybe sooner than later you guys will have a baby of your own
S= yeah let's hope so
We catch up on a few more people about 30 minutes later
KB= all right everybody can I have your attention here in a few moments we will find out what Vanessa Kevin Jay and Erin are having but until then I will go around and ask everybody what they think they're having so eat up and talk amongst yourselves I will be around shortly

J= wow that's cool
KB= and for Kevin and Vanessa you get to hit a baseball that has the gender inside a baseball and it will reveal in a blue or pink powder how does that sound
KA= it sounds perfect

E= yeah thanks Kim
KB= all right who's ready to find out what they're having
All= we are
KB= all right you guys will hit your balls at the same time
E= all right

E= of course I'm having another girl
KA= I knew it would be a girl
J= Poor me I'm out numbered now
WH= Way to go to Jay on having another girl
Everyone congrats us and Kevin and Vanessa. We hang out for a little bit and then everyone starts to leave so we decide to leave also
E= hey Kim thanks once again for doing this for us
VR= yeah thanks Kim
KB= it's no problem I'm just happy that you both are having girls they will be best friends for sure
KA= that is for sure
E= well we are going to get out of here the kids are starting to get hungry
VR= we're heading out too

We leave and head home we make dinner for everyone but a couple hours later we put the kids to bed after giving them a bath and now it's just me and Erin.
J= they went to bed pretty fast
E= oh yeah I think they play too hard today
J= yes they did
E= so how do you feel about having another little girl
J= i'm a little bit sad it's not a boy but I wouldn't mind having another little girl especially if she is just like her mother. Beside I love being a girl dad. Maybe next time we have another kid it will be a boy
E= well two things one we love you too and for two I Hall getting pregnant again and hoping it's a boy will have to wait a while longer I want a little more time between each child this time around.
J= all right that sounds perfect to me
E= so I have been thinking about something for a while now
J= you have what is it
E= well ever since we started to foster Porter I realized how small this apartment is especially since we're growing our family
J= well Porter and Camryn get along pretty well that they can sleep in the same room
E= I know that but with adding this little girl to this family what are we going to do with her
J= maybe have the baby girl in our room
E= well I'm shot jay Halsted you want a baby in our room that means less scrabble time for you besides she can't stay in a room forever she needs her own room
J= yea I know
E= Jay why does it seem like you don't want to move out
J= I don't I love this place
E= I do too but I think our family is growing out of this place way sooner than we thought
J= yes we are
E= Think of it this way we can make more memories in another house and have more room to live in
J= that's a good point let's go find our dream house
E= I can't wait
About 30 minutes later me and Erin decide to go to bed we soon fall asleep as we get ready to add another little girl into this crazy family that we have created
