Shirou bounced painfully off the ground, using the momentum to springboard further away before Berserker's fist crashed into the area he had been in mere moments prior. Several blades burst from the ground in an attempt to pierce at Berserker's back but the Servant knocked them away with a swing of his weapon.
This did give Shirou a split second to act, launching himself forward with all the speed he could muster in an attempt to strike at the opening that had just been provided to him. It was all for naught however as the incredibly large yet ridiculously agile man from one of history's greatest eras weaved away from the attack, turning in the motion to swing horizontally at Shirou in an attempt to bisect him.
Dropping to his knees, Shirou was barely able to slide beneath the attack and swung with Kanshou at Berserker's ankle. Again, Berserker showed his absurd level of skill by lifting his leg up to avoid an attack that would have done minimal damage before kicking at Shirou who could do nothing as the foot connected with his torso, driving him straight into the ground.
Watching Berserker lift his weapon high above him, roaring as he did so, Shirou dispelled his twin swords before lifting his hand to his eyeline. "Rho Aias!" he shouted, the legendary shield bursting out in front of him. Berserker's club crashed into it with a sickening thud and Shirou could see cracks form in the first layer from the initial blow. Given how many strikes Berserker could throw in rapid succession...
As the first layer gave way, Berserker stopped his assault as hundreds of nearby blades flew at him in rapid succession. His arm moved like a blur as he knocked as many blades as he could aside. Several broke through his defence but did little to injure the Servant, most of them unable to do more than leave an irritating scratch. They were standard swords though so it was to be expected.
What wasn't expected was for Gang Orca to charge into the fray, ramming his entire whale of a body into Berserker with a shoulder tackle. Shirou didn't want to estimate the weight of Gang Orca but given an average killer whale could weigh upwards of ten thousand pounds, the professional hero most definitely weighed a great deal. Hence when his frame crashed into the body of Berserker, he was able to successfully move the Servant... Twenty odd metres, Berserker managing to maintain his balance all the while. This however did grant Shirou a moment to release Rho Aias and return to his feet as Gang Orca disengaged, leaping back to Shirou's side as the two of them made some distance from the Servant. "Just who is he?" questioned Gang Orca, wanting to know the identity of the behemoth before him. Not just anybody could withstand such brute force with so little of a reaction.
"If we live through this, I'll tell you," said Shirou as he summoned Gáe Buide to his side before holding it in front of Gang Orca. "Any damage you deal to him with this, he won't be able to heal from."
"Duly noted," declared Gang Orca as he took hold of the spear whilst Shirou brought forth his ever familiar twin blades once more. Flooding reinforcement through his body once more, Shirou charged forward with Gang Orca following swiftly behind him.
If they thought they could get the jump on Berserker they were sorely mistaken as the Servant charged to meet them in the middle. Shirou controlled some nearby swords to try and strike at Berserker from the side but the Servant simply leapt up high into the air. The trajectory of the swords shifted and began to follow him upwards while Shirou also summoned a number of blades to try and strike at him from above.
Berserker spun rapidly in midair, both his weapon and his limbs effective in knocking a vast number of the weapons aside before he began to descend towards where Shirou and Gang Orca were standing. Both of them leapt to opposite sides as the Servant crashed into the ground with enough force to send debris flying in all directions.
Sprinting through this however was Aizawa, taking the brief opportunity to jump up and onto Berserker's back with two daggers he had secured from amongst the field. The professional hero tried to swing around and drive the weapons into Berserker's eyes but was unsuccessful in his assault, the Servant plucking him off of his back before tossing him violently across the terrain.
Shirou managed to move quickly, intercepting Aizawa before too much damage was done and preventing me from being cut open by one of the numerous swords in his direct path. Eraserhead didn't so much as mutter a 'thank you' and Shirou hadn't expected him to. There was still a battle to be won after all.
They could thank each other all they wanted after they survived.
...
The students and civilians huddled close to one another, a good distance away from where the battle was taking place. Even though they had run until those unable to protect themselves could go no further, it still didn't feel as if it was far enough. Many of them truly believed that no matter how far they ran, it still wouldn't be far enough.
Swords conjured out of nowhere only to be knocked away as the fight moved at a blistering pace covering huge amounts of ground. Even from how far away they were it truly felt as if they could be thrust into the depths of combat without a moment's hesitation.
The pressure had been too much for some. A good number of students who had watched their friends die before their eyes had found themselves at a complete loss. They all knew that the path to becoming heroes was a trying one and many never made the cut. Teenagers now would never have the chance to even see if they could make it to the next stage.
"How could this happen?"
"Who is that villain?"
"Why!"
The students of 1-A did their best to ignore the words of those who had found themselves trapped in despair. They knew that there would be time to mourn for those they had lost but now was not that time. They had to remain vigilant. There was still a possibility that the person fighting against their homeroom teacher, Shirou and Gang Orca could turn their attention to them. It wasn't an uncommon tactic by any stretch of the imagination. Target those unable to defend themselves to force the heroes into an unfavourable situation.
"Deku." Midoriya turned towards Bakugo, the explosive boy having grit his teeth in anger as he clenched his fist tightly. "Is...is there anything we can do?"
Midoriya felt a lump form in his throat from Bakugo's question. For as long as he had known him, Bakugo would charge headfirst into some of the most dangerous situations and come out unscathed. He had been determined to become the number one hero, surpassing all those who got in his way. For him to ask this question showed just how much he had changed as a person.
He was still headstrong, Midoriya knew that that would be a trait that defined Bakugo through much of his life. Instead of leaping straight into danger however there were calculated decisions that he weighed up beforehand. He contemplated what the best course of action was and considered how best he could utilize his quirk and skills to make his way towards the best outcome.
The mere idea that he wanted his opinion on the matter told Midoriya just how dire Bakugo believed the situation to be. Midoriya shifted his gaze over to those whose quirks he knew well and could immediately take some out of the equation. Others had powerful quirks but against this calibre of foe he felt as if they would be completely helpless. Yaoyorozu could create anything using her ability but were she to provide them with guns and ammunition he felt that it would merely bounce off of the skin of Berserker.
Mineta's balls theoretically could keep Berserker in place but even they had to have some manner of limit to how much strength the could hold. Chances were that the Heroic Spirit could rip the ground out from underneath where he was stuck and utilize that as a weapon.
Kaminari's electricity had some value, especially if he unleashed every volt he was able. The issue however was that if it was unsuccessful then he would be incredibly vulnerable, unable to mount any sort of defence were all his attack to do was piss him off. It was too much of a risk.
Iida's speed could work in order to keep pace with the battle but his strength wasn't enough to deal any damage. If they were after strength then it would be him. If he channeled One for All, surpassing every limit he had put on himself thus far and unleashed it all...
Midoriya's mind returned to the battle he had undergone on the mountainside against the muscular villain. All of his power had been useless against that man and while it was a vast difference in enemies, the end result however had the chance to very much be the same. He'd need to rain consecutive blows with all of his strength over and over to have any possible chance of dealing any damage.
There was one person however who could affect the outcome. Midoriya sharpened his gaze as he focused on who he needed to talk to. He just hoped that they were willing to risk it all to increase their chance of success by a few percent.
Because no matter how he thought about it, that was the most that this situation could bring about.
...
Shirou did his best to avoid Berserker's strikes but even if he was able to dodge the first couple of swings, the sheer speed that the warrior had at his disposal made it impossible to avoid everything being thrown at him. When he did go to block he was successful in that regard but even with reinforcement flooding through his body, the strength behind the attack was enough to send him flying backwards.
Before he had even made contact with the ground, dozens of blades attempted to catch Berserker off guard to no avail. It did buy him a couple of seconds to right himself as he hit the ground which was better than nothing. He did his best to steel his grip on Kanshou and Bakuya but the constant blows were starting to wear away at the strength in his arms.
His eyes darted off of his opponent for the barest of moments in order to check up with those who he had been fighting aside. Aizawa's body was unmoving, the quirk erasing hero having taken a vicious kick to the side which would have broken every rib that had been struck. Gang Orca was doing no better, the whale of a hero having been caught and taken a number of blows to the face. He was still conscious, desperately trying to force his way to his feet to little success. By his side was the golden spear that Shirou had given him, a desperate play which had been useless with the weapon in the hands of someone who was inexperienced with it.
Shirou knew that this situation was less than favourable.
The roar of Berserker ripped through the air as the Heroic Spirit burst forth. Shirou readied himself but knew it was not enough. He managed to weave around Berserker's initial strike and lashed out with Kanshou and Bakuya and, much to his surprise, land a slashing blow on Berserker's torso. A blow which managed to draw just a single drop of blood, such was his lack of strength at the moment.
Berserker's free hand wrapped itself around Shirou's skull, before thrusting the Magus straight into the ground with enough force to send debris soaring in all directions. Kanshou and Bakuya vanished from Shirou's grip, only to be replaced by Rule Breaker. In such close proximity, Shirou tried to drive the Noble Phantasm into Berserker's leg. The Heroic Spirit however could sense the threat to its existence and launched Shirou away, tossing him into a nearby mound. Steel and rubble crashed into Shirou's back as he desperately tried to cling on to whatever strength he had left.
Looking up he could see Berserker charging at him, ready to cleave him in two. Pushing himself onto his feet, Shirou braced himself for what very well could be the final clash. Even if it cost him his life, all he had to do was drive Rule Breaker into Berserker to ensure that everybody else survived.
It was then however that all of thoughts got derailed as a thick sheet of ice covered the battleground. Shirou's eyes darted to the side to see Todoroki there, having utilized his quirk to try and send Berserker off balance. His plan however managed to make the Heroic Spirit stumble for a mere moment but he continued to plow onwards, moderately unfazed by the change in terrain surface.
That was until Gang Orca came back into the fray, utilizing another part of his quirk to send supersonic waves at Berserker. While the attack could easily paralyze a lesser opponent it would not do so against an enemy of this calibre.
It did however disorientate him.
That, alongside the slippery terrain, created an opening that Shirou knew may be his only chance. Shirou pounced forward, utilizing ever ounce of power still remaining in his body to charge forward to meet Berserker in this temporarily vulnerable state.
Of course, Berserker was still a hero of legend and even as he battled this sudden development, he could still see Shirou coming at him and acted accordingly.
Shirou saw the giant weapon of Berserker swinging vertically towards him, still intending to end his life. The Magus knew that if he was to disengage and avoid the weapon, it would cost him fiercely and this brief window of opportunity would vanish.
Hence he pressed forward.
...
It was easy to know when the battle had come to an end, the world around them shifting from the desolate wasteland of swords to the stadium once again. There were mixed sounds of relief and the fear of potential danger still lingered for many who felt as if they had just gone through some realm of hell.
Miss Joke did her best to help alleviate some of the tension, ensuring the civilians who had been brought in to help the test that it was all over, that everything was okay now. It was difficult however especially when she saw the students of 1-A were still very much on edge. Did they feel as if the battle was not yet over? Was there still another threat lingering in the stadium that they were bracing for?
A couple of Aizawa's students did sprint forward, each with a determined look that seemed ill fitted for children of their age. It was as if they were bracing themselves for the worst, a terrible thought process to have. There was no terrifying roar coming from the monster of a man that Aizawa and Gang Orca had been fighting so that was it, wasn't it?
Miss Joke did turn from where the civilians had gotten onto their phones, calling both to assure loved ones that they were okay and emergency services to get here as soon as possible. She truly did pray that any and all heroes and medics got here as quickly as they could. There was still a chance that a number of the students who had been trapped under the rubble were still alive. There had to be a chance that some of her students...
She could feel tears begin to fill her eyes as she struggled to cling to the hope that all of her students had made it out of this nightmare alive. Looking over towards the battlefield, she knew that the reason many of them were standing there was not due to the efforts of the professional heroes, but that of a single student.
A student who remained standing over the body of his opponent (who no longer looked anything like the monster he had prior). He remained vigilant, unmoving as he stared down at the man he had taken down. Not even flinching from the severe pain that he must be feeling at this moment.
Was he not human? She could only imagine the agony coursing through his veins right now. For in his final act before having been defeated by this teenager, the monster had managed to strike him cleanly, cutting the teenager's arm off straight at the shoulder.
The disembodied limb lay on the ground in a pool of blood and she could hear one of the people nearby empty their stomach of its contents. Seemed that they had noticed the limb as well. Yeah those emergency services really needed to get here as soon as humanly possible.
Though she knew the debrief was going to be an absolute nightmare.

Tomura Shigaraki walked away calmly from the damage he and the League of Villains had caused. While he had had Twice send a vast number of his clones to assist the potential members at a separate facility, the real one had been by his side along with those who shared his vision. All would soon hear of the deeds that had been done today and fear would run rampant through the hearts of everyone.
Because the next generation had been dealt a crippling blow with what they had done today. How many wannabe heroes had died at his hand today? How many families would grieve? How many children would turn their backs on becoming a hero out of fear of what could happen to them? How could society trust heroes to protect them when they couldn't protect themselves?
Professional Heroes.
Teachers.
Civilians.
Students.
They had all been killed today by the droves.
Now, it was time to watch and see how society reacted to the carnage that had happened and they would revel in their suffering. For they were the League of Villains, and they should be feared.
...
Hope you enjoyed.
