Chapter 48: Treasure of the Blind Swordsman
At the Xiaolin Temple...
Master Fung was going to send the five warriors on their second Wudai Quest which was to locate the Treasure of The Blind Swordsman and their new Wudai Weapons.
"You are to begin a new quest."Master Fung declared and opened a map to show to the five monks. "And follow this map to the Treasure of the Blind Swordsman."
"Looks more like half the map to me."Clay commented.
"The rest will reveal itself along the way."Master Fung replied. "As well as your new Wudai weapons."
"I've always wanted my very own Wudai Weapon!"Omi remarked dreamily.
"Omi."Master Fung warned and snapped Omi out of his fantasy. "Upon completing your journey, you will learn how to use your Weapon. But remember, you will not pick it. Rather it will pick you."
Master Fung walked away leaving Raimundo, Kimiko, Clay, Alice and Omi by themselves.
"I am most certain I will be the first pick."Omi remarked confidently and backflipped onto the table. "I usually am."
Suddenly the table broke underneath Omi's weight and he fell on the floor.
Alice, Clay, Kimiko and Raimundo frowned at Omi.
"Careful, Omi."Alice warned. "Your overconfidence can end up being your undoing."
The Next Morning...
The Wudai Warriors arrived at where they were to begin their quest to find the Treasure of the Blind Swordsman and their Wudai Weapons.
They used the Crouching Cougar to travel through the vast desert plain while Dojo was in small western caravan that was pulled by the Shen Gong Wu.
Alice wore a dark blue with white polka dots shirt, dark green trousers and black boots with diamond designs on it. On her french braided ponytail was a brown cowgirl hat and a orange bandanna around her neck.
Kimiko wore a stylish cowgirl outfit that had a cyan blue shirt with puffed up sleeves, a black skirt with a red belt and blue matching boots with red lines on top of it. Her black hair was tied in two ponytails with little red ribbons, a red scarf around her neck, white fingerless gloves and a cyan blue cowgirl hat with a black feather on it.
"I am so over this."Kimiko scowled with her arms folded.
"Tell me about it."Raimundo agreed and pinched his nose. "This place smells like wet coyote."
"Yup, ain't it something?"Clay asked with a smile. "How's it going back there, Little Mary?"
"I think I swallowed a bug!"Dojo answered and let out a cough. "Or a bird."
"According to the map, we will find the first Wudai Weapon, the Blade of the Nebula at Rattlesnake Ridge."Omi exclaimed while looking at the map.
"Sounds like a friendly place."Dojo commented with a nervous smile.
"Friendly place?"Alice scoffed and folded her arms. "More like a place surrounded by cold blooded reptiles that usually bite unless provoked or threatened."
After travelling for a while, the monks and Dojo decided to camp when the sun set down.
Clay was currently sitting in a tree, strumming a guitar while Alice, Raimundo, Omi and Kimiko sat by the campfire.
Dojo cooked out of date soup for the five monks that contained a cow's skull, a dead scorpion and an old boot.
"Mmmh, Dojo-licous."Dojo said when he tasted the soup a bit with a ladle and looked at the five monks. "Soup's on!"
"Whoo wee!"Clay remarked and jumped down from the tree he was on. "Those are my favourite words."
"I call it, Dojo's Little Brown Surprise."Dojo commented. "It had a special old recipe."
Dojo filled up Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo, Alice and Clay's bowls.
"Thanks, Dojo..."Alice said with a weak smile. "That is nice of you."
Alice looked at the dead frog in her bowl causing her to become disgusted.
When Kimiko saw a small spider crawl out of her bowl, she quickly dumped her soup into Omi's.
Suddenly the group became startled when they notice lots of rattlesnakes surrounding them.
"I believe we have found Rattlesnake Ridge."Omi stated.
The five monks and Dojo quickly hid inside the caravan as they saw a gold light which came from the side of the rock.
"Wudai Weapon at ten o'clock!"Dojo declared.
"Yes!"Omi remarked and went on top of the caravan. "My Wudai Weapon has chosen me!"
Omi dodges the rattlesnakes and headed towards the weapon as his friends watched him.
"Days like this, make me glad I don't have feet."Dojo admitted.
Clay, Alice, Raimundo, Kimiko and Dojo began to panic when the rattlesnakes began to come on top of the caravan causing them to put a sheet down which said, 'Kitchen is Closed!' written on it.
Omi arrived to the Blade of the Nebula, only to have it choose Raimundo instead of him.
"Come to Papa!"Raimundo chuckled as he held the Blade of the Nebula.
"Looks like we got a winner!"Clay complemented.
Dojo checked on the map and it showed the next location to the monks.
"Crouching Cougar!"Dojo chanted. "Shen Gong Wu! Go!"
The Crouching Cougar activated and threw off the rattlesnakes on it.
The Shen Gong Wu sprung forward, pulling the caravan along with it.
Omi fell on top of the caravan with an unhappy look on his face with his arms folded.
"Sorry, Omi."Raimundo said. "Maybe next time."
Alice checked on the map for the next destination which was a ghost town and the next weapon was at a place called 'The Last Breath Cantina.'
"Guys, it says the next Wudai weapon is located her."Alice commented. "At..."
"The Last Breath Cantina."Clay finished.
"Kinda takes your breath away."Dojo gulped.
The group enter the building and saw no one was inside.
Suddenly a piano started playing by itself as the five monks looked around the building.
"Catchy little tune there."Dojo replied nervously.
"Guys, look over there!"Kimiko said.
The glow was coming from a brown satchel that was hanging from the skull of a bull that was mounted on the wall.
"My Wudai Weapon is calling for me!"Omi responded excitedly.
Clay cupped his hands and let the short monk step into them, easily lifting him up the satchel.
"If you're looking for trouble, cowpoke, you sure enough found it."A rough voice said.
The tall man's hand pushed Omi away from the satchel before coming out of portrait.
"Step aside and I'll spare you the humiliation of defeat!"Omi declared.
"Looks like I'm going to have to teach you all some manners."
The man threw a chair at Omi, who dodged it and it headed towards Clay.
Clay deflected the chair and went at the tall man, but he moved out of the way and he crashed into the wall, getting stuck there.
The tall man dodged an attack from Omi and punched Alice away when she tried to attack him.
The pink haired girl went skidding across the floor and made contact with an old spittoon.
"Yuck!"Omi said in disgust while on the bar's counter and saw that the spittoon was full. "Ancient spit!"
Raimundo lifted up his leg and kicked the tall man in the face, knocking his hat off.
When the Dragon of Wind lunged at him, the tall man threw the cape he was wearing over him and threw him at the piano, finally stopping the tune.
The top of the large instrument opened and Dojo poked his head out.
Kimiko put her head up and grinned mischievously before kicking the ancient still-full spittoon onto the tall man's head.
Alice kicked the tall man away and he was sealed back inside the picture that he was previously in.
Omi was about to claim the Arrow Sparrow but it ends up choosing Kimiko.
"Sorry Omi."Kimiko apologised.
Omi frowned deeper, but didn't say anything.
Clay pulled out the map as it showed the next location.
"Next stop, Cactus Creek."Clay declared.
The group arrived to a place that was surrounded by cactuses.
"From the nearest I can tell, this is Cactus Creek."Dojo commented and looked at the cactuses. "Or maybe Cleveland. It's a tough call."
Suddenly the group spotted a familiar glow coming from the top of a rock cliff that was up ahead.
"Finally!"Omi squealed. "My Wudai Weapon!"
Omi rushed to get the Weapon, but Clay brought his rope out to grab him.
"Easy there, partner!"Clay instructed. "Or you're going to wind up with more needles than a Siamese porcupine."
"Come here, my Wudai weapon!"Omi called out. "Here, boy! Here!"
The Big Bang Meteroang began to twitch and was trying to get itself out from the rock it was stuck in.
"Yes!"Omi cheered. "It has heard me!"
Suddenly the cactuses started to lean towards the five monks and Dojo.
"Looks like we got company."Kimiko commented.
The cactuses turned into living plants and grew mouths filled with sharp teeth.
"And I thought thorns from roses were bad."Alice retorted.
"It's time to show these weeds who's top of the food chain!"Raimundo stated.
Raimundo, Kimiko, Clay, Alice and Omi rushed forward and started to fight the cactus monsters.
However a cactus fired its needles at Raimundo, Kimiko, Clay and Alice which sent the four warriors crushing on the ground.
The four monks jumped up and cried out in pain from the needles that got stuck in their skins.
They forgot about the pain when they noticed that Omi had somehow gotten himself stuck on the needles of a cactus monster.
"Omi, are you okay?"Kimiko asked.
"I have a thousand needles in my backside!"Omi shouted angrily. "What do you think?!"
Raimundo, Kimiko and Alice looked at Clay, who nodded at them.
"Wudai Crater, EARTH!"Clay shouted.
Clay uses his Earth powers to punch back the cactus monsters and let his companions pass through them.
"Come on, Omi!"Clay reminded. "Time to make hay!"
"My Wudai Weapon!"Omi called out.
The Big Bang Meteorang flew out of the rock, passes Omi and ended up choosing Clay.
"Sorry, partner."Clay chuckled with a smile. "But I think it's sweet on me."
"All aboard!"Dojo announced as he came over to the monks on the Crouching Cougar. "Next stop, anywhere but here!"
The five monks rushed to the caravan and rode away from Cactus Creek.
"So what is our next location?"Alice asked.
"Let's see."Raimundo said and checked the map. "A place called the Vulture Territory."
"A area of land filled with hungry vultures?"Dojo chuckled weakly. "Sounds inviting."
The group travelled for a while and then spotted a glow coming from a dead tree.
"There it is!"Omi said happily. "My Wudai Weapon!"
"Go ahead, Omi."Alice insisted
Omi grinned and ran toward the Weapon causing the others to look at Alice.
"Why let him go, sugar cube?"Clay asked. "Shouldn't we stop him?"
"Just watch, guys."Alice instructed with a smirk.
"It's mine!"Omi remarked. "Mine! Mine!"
Omi headed to the dead tree to get the Shen Gong Wu, only to scream in terror when vultures flew toward him and started attacking him.
The young monk slowly came back to his friends with a black eye and a few scratches on his clothes.
"This is most...definitely...the Vulture Territory."Omi groaned in pain.
Omi collapsed in exhaustion as Alice rolled her eyes at him.
"Of course, it is."Alice said with a frown. "You just didn't bother checking the sign."
Alice pointed at the sign that was a few inches of the caravan and it said, 'Vulture Territory! Keep Out!'.
"Didn't know that was there."Clay commented.
The pink haired girl went off the caravan and began taking a few inches forward.
"Guys, stay inside."Alice instructed. "I'm gonna deal with these vultures by myself."
"Your joking, right?"Dojo suggested and Alice walked away. "And she's not joking."
"Be careful, Alice!"Kimiko warned.
Alice walked into the territory causing the vultures to glare at her.
The wind slowly blew between the girl and the vultures while the good, the bad and the ugly theme played in the background.
The pink haired girl placed her hands on her pockets as the vultures brought their wings up to attack her.
Alice let out a battle cry as she took out two revolvers and began firing at the vultures, who began to launch towards her.
The vulture tried to attack Alice, but the Dragon of Ice placed away her revolvers and fought them off with her amazing martial art skills.
After punching and kicking the vultures to the ground, Alice walked away from the beaten up scavengers and approached the dead tree.
The Combat Castanets went off the dead tree and flew over to Alice.
They were two flamenco castanets that have a dark and light blue pattern with gold trim. There was a red ribbon tied to the top of each castanet. They both have a golden bow design in the middle with pink heart symbols.
Alice smiled at the Wudai Weapon and went back to the caravan as the background theme ended.
Clay, Omi, Dojo, Raimundo and Kimiko had their jaws dropped of what they just witnessed as Alice took off her hat with her free hand and wiped away the sweat on her forehead.
"Looks this is my Wudai weapon."Alice complemented and notice her friends' shocked looks. "What?"
Afterwards...
Their five monks headed to their next destination which was a cave and Raimundo noticed Dojo was starting to feel ill from the soup he had made earlier.
"Dojo, you don't look too good."Raimundo said.
"It's Dojo's Little Brown Surprise."Dojo answered with a sick expression. "I feel it backing up on me."
Dojo held a hand to his mouth, throwing up a little bit before swallowing it back down.
Suddenly a familiar glow appeared in the front of the group.
"Omi, I think we found your Wudai Weapon!"Kimiko remarked.
Omi smiled in excitement and ran forward to finally see what was his Wudai Weapon.
Once he saw what it was, the Dragon of Water quickly slid to a stop.
To Omi's disappointment, his Wudai weapon was merely a small dark blue stick and guarded by nothing.
"No! This cannot be!"Omi complained. "My Wudai is a pitiful stick?! And guarded by nothing?!"
Omi's complaints hurt the stick's feelings.
"I'm sorry."Omi apologised. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."
The Mizu Staff wiggled happily causing Omi to grin and plucked it from the rock.
Suddenly the cave began to shake violently and rocks started to drop around the five monks.
The floor collapsed beneath the group and they fall down a hole.
The five monks screamed as they got washed away and soon land in a much bigger cave.
Clay, Alice, Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo and Dojo groaned as they emerged from the water.
"Where are we?"Clay asked.
"My guess, another creepy cave."Kimiko responded.
Clay checked on the map and saw that they were in the location of the treasure chest.
"Looks like we hit pay dirt."Clay remarked and looked to see his right. "The Treasure of the Blind Swordsman!"
The group see the Treasure of The Blind Swordsman which was on a stone near them causing their eyes to sparkle in excitement.
However when the Warriors tried to approach the treasure, an old man comes out to block their path.
"Who dares to enter?"the old man asked, looking at the wrong direction.
"Blind dude, we are over here."Raimundo reminded.
The old man started waggling his walking stick in random locations.
"We're on a quest to find the Treasure of the Blind Swordsman."Alice commented.
"You must be the Xiaolin warriors, I've heard so much about."the old man replied and removed his hood.
"And you must be the Blind Swordsman."Omi said with a smile.
"No."the old man answered and hit Omi's head with his walking stick. "I am the guardian of the treasure. Protector of its magic. Keeper of all its glory."
"Blind and chatty."Dojo mumbled.
"Who said that?!"the old man demanded angrily and moved his stick in the wrong way.
"How about we look inside your treasure chest, partner?"Clay insisted.
"According to the quest rule, your bravest must defeat in battle with five rules."the old man declared. "The choice is yours."
"But I can't fight you."Omi giggled. "Your old and blind."
The blind man whacked Omi away with his walking stick causing Alice to quietly chuckle at the sight.
"And I fight dirty."the blind man commented. "You have four moves left."
Omi started fighting against the blind man, who easily dodged his attacks.
"You fight very well for not knowing where you are."Omi admitted.
"Who are you?"the blind man asked, pulling his walking stick back. "I thought I was fighting the cowboy."
"Oh, he is standing behind you."Omi replied.
"What?"the blind man questioned. "Where?"
Omi jumped up and kicked the blind man in the head, sending him tumbling across the cave floor.
"The oldest trick in the book."the blind man said as he walked up to Omi. "Master Fung has told you well, young warrior. You have earned the right to take a look and behold all of its glory."
The blind man pointed at the wrong direction of the Treasure Chest causing the five monks to frown in disproval.
Raimundo opened the treasure chest for he and his companions to see what was inside, but they didn't see anything in it.
"What?"Raimundo said in confusion. "It's empty!"
"Sometimes one must looked closely in order to find what one is truly looking for."the blind man exclaimed.
"Well, I'm afraid we came a long way for nothing."Clay stated.
"At least we still have our cool, new Wudai Weapons."Kimiko remarked.
Kimiko, Alice, Raimundo and Clay smiled at their Wudai weapons while Omi looked at his Mizu Staff with a uncertain look.
"Anyone wish to trade?"Omi asked hopefully. "I will do your chores."
Kimiko, Alice, Raimundo and Clay hid away their Wudai weapons.
"Sorry, Omi."Alice apologised. "You gotta accept what you have earned."
Dojo let out a burp with a sickened expression.
"Guys, can we go?"Dojo asked. "I think I now know the surprise in Dojo's Little Brown Surprise."
Dojo held a hand to his mouth to prevent himself from throwing up.
"What about the blind old man?"Omi asked. "We cannot just leave him here in this cave."
"What?!"the blind man shouted and his voice echoed in the Cave. "I live in a cave?!"
Afterwards...
The five monks rode on the desert plains with the Crouching Cougar moving their caravan.
Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo, Alice and Clay jumped out of the caravan when they saw Jack's Outlaw-Bots coming their way with lassoes in their hands.
"Well, howdy."Jack greeted evilly.
"Jack!"Omi snapped. "You stand no chance against our most powerful Wudai Weapons!"
Omi took out his Mizu Staff and blushed in embarrassment.
Jack laughed a little and nudged one of his Outlaw-Bots.
"Mizu Staff!"Omi chanted, but then looked at his weapon. "Uh, what do you do exactly?"
Suddenly two Outlaw-Bots threw lassoes around Omi, making him drop his Weapon and fall to the ground.
Clay, Alice, Kimiko and Raimundo launched themselves forward to fight the Outlaw-Bots.
"Big Bang Meteorang!"Clay chanted.
Clay threw his boomerang-like weapon but it missed Jack when he dodged it with his Heli-Bot.
"Uh-oh."Clay mumbled nervously.
Clay screamed in terror when he saw his weapon spilt into five smaller boomerangs that hit him and sent him crashing into the caravan, which still had the blind man inside it.
"Combat Castanets!"Alice chanted.
Alice tried to use her Wudai Weapon to hit the Outlaw-Bots, but nothing happened.
"What-"Alice started.
Alice shrieked when a Outlaw-Bot wrapped her with his lasso and she collapsed on the group.
"Blade of the Nebula!"Raimundo chanted and held up his Wudai Weapon.
The Blade of the Nebula got snatched out of Raimundo's hand by a lasso before the Dragon of Wind was punched by an Outlaw-Bot, sending him crashing into Clay and the blind man.
Kimiko reached into the Arrow Sparrow and pulled out a handful of golden metallic bird-shaped projectiles.
"Arrow Sparrow!" she threw them and they immediately caught on fire.
The projectiles sailed in random directions, but they nearly hit the other monks and their enemies.
"Oops."Kimiko said sheepishly.
The Outlaw-Bots threw lassoes at Kimiko, Raimundo, Clay and Dojo before throwing them into Omi and Alice.
"Perhaps the magical weapons need batteries."Omi suggested.
Jack laughed as Wuya walked up to him.
"Excellent work, Jack."Wuya declared with a smirk. "With much dumb luck and assistance from the monks, you somehow managed to win."
A Outlaw-Bot brought Jack the Treasure of the Blind Swordsman.
"Time to check my booty!"Jack remarked and saw nothing inside the chest. "Hey! Where's my booty?!"
Omi, Alice, Clay, Raimundo and Kimiko struggled to free themselves from the ropes as Dojo looked at them.
"Anybody got some antacid?"Dojo asked sickly. "Or a bucket?"
The blind man walked forward using his walking stick.
"Okay, eagle eyes."Jack insulted. "Where is it?! Where's the treasure?"
The blind man didn't reply to Jack.
"We'll just take pops with us."Wuya sneered. "We have ways of making blind swordsmen talk. Evil ways."
"No!"Omi shouted as he crawled forward. "You cannot take him!"
"Sorry, cheeseball, we just did."Jack cackled. "Outlaw-Bots, saddle up!"
The Outlaw-Bots flew over to the five monks and took the Shen Gong Wu that they had on them.
They took the Orb of Tornami, Sword of the Storm, Fist of Tebigong, Komori Sword, Mantis Flip Coin, Star Hanabi and tossed them all into a sack.
Then one of the Outlaw-Bots grabbed the blind man and threw him over its shoulder.
"Hey, who is that?!"the blind man demanded. "Where am I?! I need to use the bathroom!"
"What about the treasure chest?"Wuya asked.
"What?! That's disgusting!"the blind man shouted and realised something. "Oh, were you not talking to me?"
"Forget the chest, it's empty."Jack scoffed and smirked. "We've got a train to catch."
Jack pulled out a remote and pushed its red button.
Then a loud train whistle was heard and everyone saw a large locomotive that the boy genius had built fly down from the sky and land on the ground.
The five monks glared as the Outlaw-Bots boarded the train with the blind man and the Shen Gong Wu they stole.
"Once again, Jack Spicer rocks!"Jack declared and took out the Monkey Staff. "Time to take this evil on the road! Yeehaw!"
Jack laughed but soon started to cough before boarding inside the train.
Omi, Alice, Clay, Raimundo, Kimiko and Dojo gritted their teeth in anger as the train took off in the sky.
Dojo was able to untie the lasso on him before he started freeing the monks.
"Can't believe we just got beaten by a evil wanna be and an old hag."Alice muttered bitterly.
"Didn't the blind dude say look more closely to what you're looking to see?"Raimundo asked as he stood up.
"Yes, but I do not think looking is one of his strengths."Omi said.
"But what if he was talking like the Fung Meister?"Raimundo suggested as his friends walked forward and looked at the chest. "Looking but not really looking. Maybe if we concentrate and picture what we're looking for, it'll work. Ready?"
Raimundo opened the chest before he and the other monks closed their eyes to concentrate.
Suddenly the Treasure Chest started glowing causing the Blind Swordsman, servant of whoever wields the Treasure, to come out.
"You have summoned the spirit of the Blind Swordsman, loyal to whoever possesses the treasure chest."the Blind Swordsman declared.
"So how about showing us how to use our new weapons?"Raimundo asked.
"Open your mind."the Blind Swordsman instructed. "And trust that your Weapons will show you the way."
The Arrow Sparrow, Combat Castanets, Blade of the Nebula, Big Bang Meteorang and Mizu Staff lifted themselves up as they started to glow a bit.
"Mizu Staff!"Omi chanted.
The Mizu Staff became watery and changed into any weapon that Omi desired it to be.
"My weapon and I are most magnificent!"Omi responded in joy.
"Big Bang Meteorang, do your stuff!"Clay instructed.
Clay threw the Big Bang Meteorang and it sailed through some nearby rocks and cactus, which became sliced by it.
"Whoo!"Clay chuckled and caught his Big Bang Meteorang. "I'll be a three legged centipede!"
"Combat Castanets!"Alice chanted.
Alice held up her Combat Castanets and they do a loud clicking sound causing their heart symbols to start to glow before they unleashed loud sonic frost waves towards a hill causing it to break into pieces.
"Sweet music to my ears!"Alice remarked and smiled at her Wudai Weapon. "This is awesome!"
"Arrow Sparrow!"Kimiko chanted.
Kimiko took out the projectiles from her satchel causing them to fly around and generally explode in a fiery ball in the sky.
"Burn, baby, burn!"Kimiko cheered.
"Blade of the Nebula!"Raimundo chanted.
The Blade of the Nebula transformed into a pair of nun chucks with a small tornado spiralling in the middle that sent Raimundo up before placing him back down.
"I got the power!"Raimundo remarked and did a victory dance. "I got the power!"
"Come, Dojo!"Omi insisted. "We must rescue the blind old man at once!"
"Bad news, guys."Dojo said as he held his stomach. "Looks like Dojo's gotta blow whatever was in the surprise! I'm afraid I'm grounded!"
Dojo burped causing Raimundo, Omi and Clay to cover their noses.
"Oh man!"Clay scowled and took off his hat to remove the smell. "That is just not right!"
Raimundo looked at the Blind Swordsman.
"Hey, ghostly dude, we could really use some help."Raimundo complemented. "Any ideas?"
"Look into the treasure chest."the Blind Swordsman instructed.
Kimiko, Alice, Omi, Raimundo and Clay watched in amazement as the Swordsman summoned five flying horses that would lead to Jack's flying train.
Kimiko, Alice, Raimundo and Clay immediately went on their horses as Omi chased after the little one that was for him.
"Nice steeds."Clay remarked and patted his horse's head.
"What about the chest?"Omi asked.
"It'll just slow us down."Raimundo answered. "We'll have to grab it on the way back."
Omi got on his horse and picked up Dojo before galloping after the others to get to Jack's train.
As the five monks flew away, the Blind Swordsman went back inside the treasure chest and closed the lids.
Kimiko, Alice, Omi, Raimundo and Clay landed on the top of the train before their flying horses took off.
"I believe this is your stop!"Jack stated. "Outlaw-Bots, attack!"
The Outlaw-Bots charged towards the five monks.
"Big Bang Meteorang, do your stuff!"Clay instructed.
Clay threw the Big Bang Meteorang which turned into five meteorangs and easily destroyed four Outlaw-Bots.
"Mizu Staff!"Omi chanted.
Omi's Mizu Staff turned into a watery double sided mace to destroy the Outlaw-Bots standing in his way.
"Blade of the Nebula!"Raimundo chanted.
Raimundo grabbed two Outlaw-Bots using the Blade of the Nebula before throwing them down below.
"Arrow Sparrow!"Kimiko chanted.
"Combat Castanets!"Alice chanted.
Kimiko and Alice used the Arrow Sparrow and the Combat Castanets to sent fire blasts and sonic frost waves towards the remaining Outlaw-Bots to destroy them.
Inside the Train...
"Jack, grab the Wu and let's get out of here."Wuya insisted.
Wuya and Jack prepare to make a run for it with the Shen Gong Wu they stole, but the blind man blocked their path.
"First you have to get passed me."the old man stated.
The guardian, Wuya and Jack all touch the bag of Shen Gong Wu at the same time, starting a Showdown Trio.
"I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown Trio!"the old man challenged.
Raimundo, Kimiko, Clay, Alice and Omi ran into the train.
"Come on!"Raimundo encouraged. "Let's take them!"
"No."Omi replied. "We can't dishonour his challenge."
"My Thorn of Thunderbolt and Silk Spitter against your Mantis Flip Coin and the Treasure of the Blind Swordsman!"Jack stated.
"The game is Emperor of the Train!"the old man declared. "Last man standing wins!"
The robot bartender grabbed a few drinks and ducked down to avoid the showdown.
"Let's go, Xiaolin Showdown!"the Guardian, Jack and Wuya shouted in unison.
When the showdown started, Jack's robot train flied to a planet, whose ring expanded into formed a track that another larger train was on.
"Gong Yi Tan Pai!"Jack, the Guardian and Wuya yelled out.
"Thorn of Thunderbolt!"Jack chanted.
Jack attacked with the Thorn of Thunderbolt, but the guardian jumped up and walks on the electricity to knock Jack down.
"Silk Spitter!"Wuya chanted.
Wuya attacked with the Silk Spitter, but the Guardian collected all the silk on his cane to hit her.
"No way!"Jack said in disbelief. "How you do that!"
"There are other ways to see than just with your eyes!"the Guardian answered.
The old guardian continued to fight his two opponents while countering all their attacks and send them both flying to opposite ends of the train.
"Perhaps you would like to surrender now."the old man suggested with a smirk.
"Perhaps you like to keep your distance to yourself, four eyes!"Jack snapped.
"He's blind, Jack."Wuya reminded with a frown.
"Even better!"Jack commented as he went back on his feet and cackled. "Time to double team Mr No Eyes! Jack's on an evil rant now! Thorn of Thunderbolt!"
"Silk Spitter!"Wuya chanted.
"Mantis Flip Coin!"the old man chanted.
Wuya and Jack try to double team the Guardian by attacking with Thorn of Thunderbolt and Silk Spitter at the same time, but the old man jumped up and the attacks keep going and hit the other fighter.
This knocked both Wuya and Jack off the train, winning the showdown for the Guardian.
Raimundo, Kimiko, Clay, Alice and Omi rushed up to the old man.
"Way to kick butt!" Raimundo remarked. "Especially when you can't see butt."
"I do not understand."Omi said in confusion. "How can someone without sight fight so well?"
"Again with the questions. It is quite simply, I use my mind to see rather than my eyes."the old man sighed and placed his hood down. "Didn't you hear me before?! That is the secret to the treasure chest. The answers to all your questions lie inside. You just have to look."
"The treasure chest!"Raimundo panicked and face palmed. "We left it back on the trail!"
"Uh, you left it back on the trail!"Kimiko argued
Raimundo gives Kimiko an annoyed look as she pouted angrily.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I really must find the bathroom."the old man declared.
The five monks gasped as the old man fell down from the train, but Clay quickly took out his rope to catch him on time.
"I believe it's the other way, partner."Clay reminded with a smile.
Alice, Omi, Kimiko and Raimundo laughed as Clay pulled the old man back into the train.
A While Later...
The five monks went back to where they left the Treasure of the Blind Swordsman.
But by the time they return to their departure spot, it was gone.
"The Treasure of the Blind Swordsman is gone!"Omi said in shock.
"This is all my fault for leaving it behind."Raimundo retorted and kicked the dirt.
"Accidents happen, Pedrosa."Alice responded and placed her hand on her hip. "You just gotta learn from them."
"What no good hombre could have taken it?"Clay questioned.
Dojo pulled out a magnifying glass to look closer at where the chest used to be and studied the tiny prints in the sand.
"I have a pretty good idea."Dojo admitted nervously.
