Chapter Forty-Eight

"Some souls are connected by an ancient calling beyond worlds"

"I'm going to be twenty-one," Elsa thinks to herself as she puts on the familiar risque looking black dress showing off a lot of skin that she wore before at Silvanna's birthday.

Time for Elsa had passed quickly and peacefully. Arendelle after the War of Nogrod had been at peace under the rule of Silvanna and the people are content at worst and tremendously happy at best. Trade and learning is flourishing with Arendelle becoming a major player in the game. With it is a major trade route in the region and the leading nation of the Three Seas Alliance with Corona and Arendelle colony of Lescanna, it is a major player in the game. Of course the small facts that it is immensely rich due to the numerous trade routes, its salt and raw material source, a font of knowledge where pilgrims and scholars take time to visit, the presence of the Winter Bank and the Winter Colliseum, all adds to its prestige. Money is simply not an issue for Arendelle anymore and it is a self-sustaining tide that the nation relies on to feed and arm its large army and navy. Of course the Winter Bank alone is already more than enough to boost and feed Arendelle's military might, but as Silvanna so aptly says: "More is always better than less,"

A couple of knocks brings Elsa out of her thoughts as Lietenant Peter's voice calls out: "Your Highness, Lady Silvanna sends word that she is waiting for you at the stables,"

"I'll be right there Peter, thank you," Elsa calls out aloud as she puts on the finishing touches of her makeup before looking at herself in the mirror one more time.

She smiles at her form satisfied. At almost twenty-one years of age, Elsa is almost fully developed and a looker. Her breasts once flat and unimpressive have now grown (In fact Elsa had to wear a brassiere most of the time these days to prevent them from bouncing around), her hips have filled (much to her delight), her ass is fuller and the last of the baby fat in her face had finally said "Au Revoir". Elsa likes to believe that she is now entering the cusps of adulthood especially with her growing taller, not as tall as Silvanna but tall enough that she does not need to raise her head too much when kissing her older lover. All in all she's happy that her looks are now acceptable to be on par with the Knightess (Seeing of course that Silvanna is considered the most beautiful in this part of the seas, it is a rather unfair assessment of the world beautiful). Making sure that Veollyx is still around her neck, Elsa turns her attention away from the mirror and walks out.

Putting on a grey fur coat to hide her rather showy attire, Elsa wastes no time heading down to the Royal Stables greeting Anna with a nod who is doing paperwork with little Jacob at her lap. She and Anna still maintain their distance with one another though they greet each other with wordless actions. Elsa despite being a new leaf was still traumatized by the horror she caused when she almost killed her sister when they're younger. She would not risk it if she could no matter what Silvie might say. That fear only doubled with Jacob, Anna's baby around. She's just thankful that Anna did not push to talk to her; it is a welcome opportunity from her once immature sister.

It does not take long for Elsa to arrive at the Royal Stables and what she sees though makes her pause at her stride. There is Silvanna alright and she is wearing what seems to be the most form fitting thing that Elsa had seen her wear. It is less of an outfit and more of a silver rubber covering hugging her lover's shapely form to its fullest extent. Her entire upper part is covered in it except for her arms and ending somewhere in her upper thighs (One piece swimsuit design). She is not wearing any pants but instead white long boots that goes up to her lower thighs creating an indention of space showing part of her legs between the connection of her torso and lower body. It is extremely vulgar and Elsa would have protested at Silvanna showing off her body if not for the Knightess preparing a fur coat like hers, only white and grey to wear and cover her form fitting outfit.

"Elsa! You're late," Silvanna's cheerful voice makes Elsa roll her eyes at her as she approached accepting the hug. "Are you ready to go?" the Knightess asks while Elsa looks around for any sign of Amelia and Silvanna's personal guards.

"No personal guard? Where's Amelia and the rest?"

"They're not coming," Silvanna answers putting atop her head a hat with a violet flower attached to it. "We are going incognito after all and they stand out like thumbs in a crowd,"

Elsa really likes to point out that incognito or not Silvanna stands out in a crowd without even trying. She keeps her mouth shut though as she accepts Silvanna's hand pulling her atop Lancelot, Silvanna's stallion.

"Don't worry Elsa, Captain Price and the Rangers will be keeping an eye on us even if our guard is not present," she says handing Elsa a grey hat like hers in design that she wears to hide her face.

"Alright, but you never told me where we are going Silvie," points out Elsa as she readjusts the straps of the hat atop her head.

"I thought we could go to Madam Paddifoots, the one where we went at before," answers Silvanna making Elsa blink at their destination. She simply did not expect to head to that building built for lovers again. She was of the opinion that Silvanna disliked the place.

"There? Why?" she asks holding Silvanna's waist through her fur coat as Lancelot canters out the table.

"I've kinda bought it and renovated it," answers Silvanna smiling. "I thought we could visit it for your birthday tonight you know. I've got a surprise that I hope you would really like Elsa,"

"You know that I always like whatever you give me. No need to be so dramatic Silvie. No matter what you give, I'm sure that I would love it," says Elsa hugging Silvanna's waist tighter.

She promptly missed the moment of hesitation that mars the Knightess' face as she answers with a soft : "We'll see," as the horse canters out of Arendelle Castle.

…..

"Sir, the fifth patrol fleet have finally returned from the kingdom of Nevellir down South, nothing of note had changed so far from the two blockades of Rome and Greece. There are a few merchantmen trying to escape the outriders from both nations but other than that, nothing interesting,"

"Alright, good work Colonel. Bring your report to the sixth fleet admiral and inform him of the changes or the lack of it before they could head off and replace the sixth fleet that will be heading out to protect the traders," orders Matthias. The colonel saluted crisply before exiting his office.

Matthias sighs as he focuses his attention once more on the hundred reports or so littering his desk. This new assignment is definitely not as exciting or pleasurable as the year before. Boaz, the island fortress of Arendelle which also serves as the main harbour of its main fleet and the bulwark against the rapidly destabilizing South. Heavily fortified with provisions that can last years and many harbours, it served as a deterrent for any nation down south into cross Arendelle's territory through the main channel.

Taking the time to look at the painting of his wife and son at the edge of his room, Matthias can't help but miss them. They had barely been married two years before he was retrained and sent here. Matthias was a soldier through and through and his wife, Leonor accepted his decision to accept his decision on being deployed here on the Island of Boaz. Silvanna herself chose him to be in charge here. Apparently the Knightess was worried about something and assigned him, a Winged Hussar she trusts to hold the fort. Matthias would not disappoint her, his family or his country.

Shaking the fanciful thoughts and standing up, Matthias pulls on the raincoat of heavy fur as he exits his office, the powerful icy rain drenching him immediately as he heads to the highest tower where a blazing bonfire lights day and night. Down below he can see Boaz's large harbours with ships from massive Galleons, war galleys and elegant Swan Ships are moored weathering the storm. All of this is his responsibility and to make sure that the Southern Isles conquering everything down South don't attempt to move past this point.

Arendelle needs someone experienced but not high ranking enough in the hierarchy chain to be a great loss in the case of a battle. Unfortunately it is him that got chosen despite his less than stellar record. As he warms his hands on the raging bonfire of Boaz's lighthouse; Matthias can't help but wonder if being Fleet Commander of the navy is worth it.

…..

"Woahhh you've really outdone yourself this time Silvie," Elsa whistles impressed as she looks at the former Madam Paddifoots.

It had been a quaint and warm home before designed to host nobles for their marriage bed with only a single level with enough red and pink flounders to make anyone puke. Now that Elsa thinks about it, she has no idea what possessed her to think that it is a good thing to bring a traumatized Silvanna then. It is the only place suggested to her by Gerda that seems acceptable. Most of the notable and visited places of Arendelle after all belongs to Lance Trading and Elsa had no wish to bring Silvanna into her own establishment. She wants something new; thus then this place.

Madam Paddifoots however right now does not resemble the bump and shackle like house that it was before no. Instead two wooden buildings whose walls are circular rise above like towers at each side of the plateau. A wooden Passover connects the two large enough between the crevice with lights coming from it like a giant bridge. Red and yellow lights dot the sides painted burnish red and brown giving the once warm building an even livelier appearance despite it being surrounded by snow.

"I endeavour to try," chuckles Silvanna heading to one of the towers where a wooden palisade is set up with guards bearing Lance Trading's emblem guarding it. They saluted wordlessly as Silvanna enters while a stable boy grabs the reins of Lancelot.

"For your trouble," Silvanna mutters flicking a gold coin at the stable boy as she dismounts while helping Elsa do the same. The Crown Princess does not miss that every eye in the vicinity is looking at Silvanna with admiration and wanting.

Feeling oddly protective and smug, Elsa places her arm over Silvanna earning her a questioning look which she wordlessly replies with a beam of innocence. Putting on a smug look toward the observers, Elsa wordlessly follows Silvanna inside the building where the familiar warmth of the fire immediately tickles her skin.

"Ahh that's better," sighs Silvanna taking off her coat and handing it to one of the butlers who takes it wordlessly. "I still envy that you don't feel the cold that way Elsa,"

"I'm special that way," replies Elsa taking off her own coat which she hands to the same butler that holds Silvanna's. She feels her lover's eyes immediately glued to her attire making the butterflies in her stomach flutter at the amount of attention being directed at her. She notices something though at the building as she looks around.

"There's no guests here Silvie?" she asks noticing the empty comfy armchairs and tables where couples usually sit and eat.

"I might have reserved the entire place for us today," replies Silvanna with a light chuckle. "It pertains to the gift that I am planning to give you tonight at your birthday. You might thank me by then for that,"

"Oh-okay, if you say so," answers Elsa blinking owlishly a little bit confused. She has no idea what gift requires that the entire building needs to be vacated. This is Silvanna though and Elsa knows enough that when it comes to her, she can trust the beautiful Knightess completely.

"So, shall we eat?"

At that Silvanna's nervous smile disappears replaced with a bright one. "I thought you'd never ask. Come, I'm already famished," she gestures waving at one of the servants to lead them.

She had to hand it to Silvanna, the Knightess came up trumps when it comes to design. Imported rugs and red cushions litter the entire hallway heading to the VIP dining area that is located in the middle of the bridge between the two towers. There the two of them finds a quaint table at the floor with no chairs but more cushions and rugs littering the area. Lamps and candles are everywhere giving off a bright warm feeling to the room despite it snowing inside.

"No chairs?" Elsa asks as Silvanna lies on the floor sideward, her skin tight outfit outlining every single curve of her body.

"No chairs," she simply repeats amused as Elsa lies sideways like her. Her eyebrows though rise as she notices that Silvanna is eyeing her attire with an interested stare.

"Like something you see Silvie?" she teases earning her a predator look from Silvanna.

"You had no idea," she licks her lips invitingly making Elsa immediately aware how hot she feels beneath her collar. Part of her though feels extremely glad that her looks can make Silvanna more interested in her. Elsa would never say it out loud but one of her worst fears is Silvanna getting tired of her and leaving her. Maybe that's why she didn't protest when the Knightess told her about her tryst during the war. She was afraid that if she didn't compromise then Silvanna will hate her. Besides, it's not as if Amelia is not good looking and the bodyguard had indicated more than once that she had no issue of sharing.

Elsa is cut off from her thoughts once more though as the servants appeared through the side with their eyes glued on the table instead of her and Silvanna lying at the cushions and rugs at the ground. She wonders how much self-control they must be exercising since both she and the Steward of Arendelle are wearing outfits that show a lot of skin and form.

As it is though she is just thankful that they are at least not eyeing her and Silvanna; Elsa would rather prefer that they start their meal pleasantly and not being ogled. She dressed after all for Silvanna and not for them.

The waft of the food's aroma though brings her focus to the rumbling stomach inside her. There are lamb chops with garlic sauce, sizzled fish bathed in wine, roasted potatoes, chicken legs and a beef stew laced with greens. A bottle of fine white wine is at the edge with cups for both her and Silvanna.

"Ermmm, isn't this a little bit too much Silvie?" asks Elsa knowing very well that despite Lance Trading's reputation of serving good food; said good food costs a lot of money to buy. The fair might look simple but it is enough to threaten a lesser lord's purse.

"Seriously? I'm the owner of the said company Elsa, I can order any food I want," answers Silvanna drinking from her cup some of the wine prepared.

Feeling silly at her words, Elsa focuses instead on the food. She moans at the taste. The cooks at Lance Trading once more outdid themselves and Elsa's taste buds are screaming in joy as she munches one of the lamb chops.

"Is it juicy? Is it scrumptious?" Silvanna teases taking a bite out of her own meal obviously pleased at Elsa's reaction to the food.

"Hmm..hmm," the Crown Princess nods in affirmation as she swallows the food. "I wish we could have brought Kaldita here she would love the food Silvie. She could have also celebrated with us,"

"We have celebrated your birthday with her for the past two years Elsa. I have thought that it would be prudent to have some private time between the two of us. Don't you want to?" asks Silvanna looking at her with those beautiful navy blue eyes of hers,"

"Of course I want to," answers Elsa quickly nodding her head. "I'm just a little concerned about us leaving her at the palace,"

A small smile appears at Silvanna's face as she reaches out putting at the side a strand of Elsa's hair. "You really would make a good mother Elsa. Don't worry, Gerda will watch over her alongside with Kai. In fact I believe that those two would take rather better care of her than we ever could, especially with how active that she is,"

Elsa can't help but snort in agreement at that. Kaldita is an obedient and behaved child to say the least. Sure she loves to laugh and enjoy like most children her age but she is rather confident and wilful (Elsa would be the first to admit that it is because of Silvanna's influence). Even in her young age, she tends to wander off on different parts of the castle with her sketchbook intent on drawing stuff that interests her. Knowing that her former life is a being of creation, Elsa is not surprised of her attachment to that field. Still, in her interest and sureness, Kaldita tends to sometimes wander off without her guardians seeing or knowing. With her status as a princess of the realm; such actions tend to cause the castle to upheave in an effort to find her. The young princess of course regrets her actions once she pulls herself off of her tunnel vision, but the fact remains that she does it a lot.

"At least she is learning to ask permission before she wanders off," thought Elsa remembering the dressing down that Silvanna gave Kaldita after her last escapade which causes a pair of Elsa's hair to turn into the color of natural grey from worry.

The rest of the meal goes on like this with Elsa reminiscing things with Silvanna of their lives in the past year or so. Before Elsa knows it, the food is finished and cleaned by the servants with the small table in front being taken away also. Now here she is sitting beside Silvanna on the cushions nursing a cup of hot milk as a finishing beverage while Silvanna drinks herbal mint tea.

"You drink mint tea of all things Silvie?" asks Elsa amused as the two of them watch the grandfather's clock slowly ticks to the five minutes before Elsa's twenty-first birthday.

"Hey, don't say anything about my tea. Unlike you my dear, I prefer my mouth fresh," waves Silvanna off.

Elsa only smiles at that as she finishes the last of her milk and places the mug at the tray near the door where a servant at the morning will pick up. It is almost surreal for her to know that she will finally be celebrating her twenty-first birthday. Back them it is almost a pipe dream with her fearing that the next moment the door of her room opens, it will be people carrying pitchforks and torches ready to bind her and burn her at the stake. Now here she is, two months away from her coronation as queen of Arendelle and Elsa does not know how to react to that. She will do her best to rule of course but only with Silvanna at her side. Elsa is knowledgeable enough to admit that as large and powerful as Arendelle is now, she can't handle it if she is queen.

"There you go again," the voice of Silvanna makes Elsa blink questioningly at the beautiful Knightess lying beside her.

"You have that faraway look at your eyes when you're thinking about something deep. I've thought that we would relax for your birthday tonight and not think about business and politics,"

"I know, I know. I just can't help but wonder about tomorrow Silvie and what is to come. There would be so much that will change this year," says Elsa looking down at her uncovered hands. It is only with Silvanna that Elsa dare remove her gloves. Sure she is not that terrified girl anymore from before but the gloves act like placebo for her, an old habit that keeps the fear away and a focus for her to keep her emotions in check.

"Yes, yes it will," answers Silvanna looking at the open window where the snow have finally lessened showing the beautiful stars glittering outside. "I will be with you every step of the way though Elsa so you don't need to be afraid of being alone,"

"I know Silvie and no words I might say of how thankful of that fact," admits Elsa holding Silvanna's hand with her own.

"Well, a thank you would be a good start,"

"Thank you Silvie,"

"You're welcome,"

The silence that follows is welcoming and Elsa sighs in contentment quite pleased with the way of things. She's not alone and Silvanna will watch over her even if she's no longer the Steward of Arendelle. Besides, as far as Elsa is concerned, Silvanna's word will still be law through her. Goodness only knows how much Arendelle owes the Knightess.

"Now that we're talking about it; I've got another reason for you to say thank you to me," the Knightess speaks out breaking the silence making Elsa look at her. Her voice is amused but is that a tinge of nervousness and uncertainty she hears?

"What do you mean Silvie?" asks Elsa confused.

"You know, the entire night and you haven't asked me even once Elsa as to what gift I would be giving you. It's practically why we are here in the first place," says Silvanna making Elsa "ahh" remembering why Silvanna insists that they be the only people to visit here.

"Sorry, I got distracted by the food Silvie," says Elsa rubbing the back of her head. "For the record it is a really good distraction,"

"I endeavour to please," replies Silvanna with that smile that seems to never manage to reach her eyes.

Elsa cannot help it anymore. "Are you alright Silvie?" she asks, her voice laced with worry. "You look nervous,"

"Because it's I am," replies Silvanna catching Elsa off guard by the sudden admission.

"Of what?" she starts to ask only to nearly jump as the grandfather's clock reaches midnight making Elsa jump at the sudden ringing sound it makes.

Silvanna on the other hand seems to become even more nervous as she lets go of Elsa's hand and stands a few feet in front of her. Her face no longer cheerful but one of utter nervousness but also filled with resolve as her navy blue eyes meet Elsa's baby blue ones.

"Happy Birthday Elsa," the Knightess says with an eye smile before her hands goes to her shoulders.

Elsa immediately knows where this is going a split second before Silvanna's hand reached its destination; slender fingers reach the clasp and in one move pull it off. The form fitting outfit that the Knightess is wearing immediately retracts with a loud snap making Elsa's eyes grow wide as dinner plates as she beholds for the first time Silvanna naked as the day she was born.

Elsa has to pinch herself hard to make sure that she is not dreaming and the urge to slap herself grows as she blinks every time and the image of Silvanna is still there in front of her. Sure she has seen Silvanna many times scantily clad but never, not once did she manage to see Silvanna wearing nothing. She is not ashamed to say that she dreamt sometimes of risqué things when it comes to her lover, but to see her now standing there in front of her? It is like a dream come true.

Elsa can feel her throat going dry as the desert; and her palms becoming clammy as her eyes drink in her lover's form. Silvanna is more beautiful than anything that her dreams can manage to conjure. Every curve, every contour of the Knightess is beautiful and elegant making Elsa wonder how in the world did men not try their luck with her (That big ass spear she carries around is a great deterrent)? She is pale but full of life and warmth.

Before Elsa knows it she is reaching out with one hand to touch Silvanna's face just to make sure that the Knightess is not a conjuration of her mind.

"I'm not dreaming am I?" asks Elsa as Silvanna's hand touch the outside of Elsa's palm at her face.

"No you're not," chuckles Silvanna. "Ever the dramatic my dear princess,"

"You're so beautiful Silvie," whispers Elsa her eyes unable to stop themselves from roaming the body of her lover. "So beautiful and elegant,"

Then Elsa sees the hesitation and regret at Silvanna's eyes as she averts them. "I'm not pure Elsa, not after what my brother did, not a part of me is. I know that we waited for you to be this age but I'm not sure if you would want me any-Hmmmf!"

Silvanna's voice is promptly cut off as Elsa slams her mouth into hers, only for a few seconds before pulling away with their foreheads still meeting.

"Don't say that Silvie, never say that," whispers Elsa putting her heart into her words."You are perfect in every way. Don't say that to me ever again. I've loved you since the day I met you and I won't stop now just because of some mad idiot,"

"Elsa…., thank you," whispers Silvanna in response making Elsa smile as she this time shamelessly lets her hands wander into the warm skin of Silvanna's form making the Knightess blush as Elsa goes to places that before she does not touch due to their "Ground rules".

"I've waited for this for so long," Elsa pants as her hands explore.

"And you're still dressed," points out Silvanna despite the red hue in her cheeks at Elsa's ministrations.

"Touche Silvie," Elsa steps back and wastes no time unbuttoning her black dress letting it fall on the rugs below making the Knightess in front of her gaps.

She almost covers herself in instinct if not Silvanna slamming her lips into hers with a heated kiss that turned heated in seconds as hands start wandering everywhere. Elsa gasps and moans as heat blossoms inside her body with their skins touching with no covering whatsoever separating them anymore. They fit so perfectly with one another that Elsa can't get enough of it. Soon the two of them breaks off for air with Silvanna atop of her with both of them at the ground their bodies pressed to one another as close as possible. Elsa blinks as Silvanna sensuously licks her lips atop her.

"Beautiful," the Knightess whispers before kissing Elsa's jaw and heads down to her neck without furder ado. All Elsa can do is gasp as her hands goes into Silvanna's beautiful blonde hair as pleasure racks her brain.

Somehow Silvanna is right. She will thank her a lot later; at the moment though she will try her best to enjoy the primal dance of love tonight and many nights after if Elsa has something to say about it. She just hopes that no one at the building is present tonight. Both of them would be screaming a lot after all.

….

Somewhere in Arendelle

"Are you sure that the barons will be okay with this?" asks Horst looking at Blackwall who grimly nods. "And the army?" he turns at Viktor who also imitates the former's position.

"I'm worried that Princess Elsa though might be against this proposition," points out Lord Spinach. "Why in the world after all will she go along with this when she can rule the most powerful of all kingdoms in this part of the sea?"

"Because she has something to hide," answers Horst confidently. "Believe me when I say that Princess Elsa will follow our will because she has nothing to lose and everything to gain if she goes along with this,"

"Will the people follow this plan though?" asks Lord Blackwall. "This would be naught if the people do not go along,"

"Oh they will get along. Princess Elsa is something of a stranger to them who rules from afar. If push comes to shove and we oust her, then they will rally behind us,"

"We have to be very careful with this though. We don't want this to look like a coup. The last thing that we need is Arendelle in a civil war. The Ranger Corps and the Winged Hussars would never support this," points out Viktor.

"As they should; their loyalty had always been in question but they serve their uses for now. What's important now is secrecy. No word or rumour of this must come out until the coronation day, understood?" asks Horst making the High Nobles nod in affirmation.

"Good,"

"It's hard to imagine that House Aren after six generations of leading Arendelle will finally be deposed," comments Jonathan Johnson sadly.

"Everything changes with time our dear minister," Horst simply huffs. "The Knightess coming to our shore is proof of that concept best of all. Now we must adapt and grow instead of rotting in stagnancy,"

Author's Note:

Sorry for the long wait guys. Been busy with life. Soo yeah. Elsa and Silvann finally did it. Since this is a Rated T, I cant write the entire scene. I am planning to write a separate lemon though for them later since we have all been waiting expectantly for this for sooooo long. Anyway please review and hearts.
