A.N. — Having only read the American version of the books, I was unaware of this little publishing snafu. I am glad to capitalize on it here.
48. Stebbins
Fawcett had kissed him so thoroughly, Stebbins' head was left spinning. At least, that was his reasoning at Snape's taking of points after catching them snogging. Surely, the man knew his students' houses by now. Not that he'd mind being in Ravenclaw with his girlfriend; but then, that loyalty was his true Hufflepuff showing.
Fawcett looked dazed as well, and Stebbins had a moment of schadenfreude at seeing her disheveled demeanor before the horror of the situation sunk in. Snape was still there, glowering, and the pair still looked like love-drunk fools. No romp in the roses was worth this.
