We are not Zoo Animals
"I'd love to stay and chat, but you're a total bitch," Harry said with a pointed look as he gazed down at his mate who had several pieces of paperwork around him. "Did you know that I got called into the Headmaster's office about your language? He even changed the password from having it sweets based to 'Houston, we have a problem. Tell me Bane, before I get the twins to put muggle underwear on you...your side of the story. After all we both know how Dumbledore likes to twist his words in favour of making himself look like a hero, he always does it even if no one but us realises it."
"You have my word that I did not turn your Headmaster into pulp or say half of the things he said I did," Bane said with a stressed sigh as he picked up the piece of paperwork in front of him and handed it to his mate. "Thank you for allowing me to tell you the truth and not taking the old farts side...it's just that I know that your life's been hard and you don't deserve any sadness that might come with the old man's ideas. This time I can do something to stop it and I am going to."
Letting out a soft hum so Bane knew that he had heard, Harry moved his horse body to sit next to Bane in a comfortable position and began to read through the paperwork. He did his best to ignore the strong gaze of his beloved as he went through the paperwork that had his mate so stressed out with a critical eye. Through he could not help himself as the word 'zoo' and both worlds came up multiple times explaining just why Bane had lost his temper, after all everyone knew what Bane thought of humans.
"There are darkness in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights, the lights of all lights," Harry said out loud with an amused snort as he paused and turned to look at Bane. "Did he really try to use these words on all of the magical creatures? I can even see how some of the human magic users would take these words."
"He did, apparently this is just a short copy of his ideas based on his ideas he has in place so we could all read it and gain the idea of what he wants to happen before he is going to go ahead and call a big meeting with everyone to add in the extra information he was not able to put into these short notes and to answer any questions that might be aimed his way," Bane explained as he felt his mate's anger turn into one of disbelief. "As you can see, I just said what everyone was thinking out loud because-"
"He wants to make the magical world and all of those in it into a zoo!" Harry shouted out as he began to share Bane's anger. Throwing the paperwork in disgust down onto the ground Harry turned and gave Bane a dark look. "It seems that I have a few favours to call in, some that even Dumbledore does not know about."
"Really?" Bane asked in relief as he felt a large amount of stress begin to fall off of him.
"Yes, really, we will do this together," Harry answered as he wrapped his arms around Bane's body in a loving hug. "If he thinks that making the magical side into a zoo and tourist attraction will help to break down any barriers between our worlds then he has another thing coming. It is time to show him just what happens when I do use my connections for once."
