-Chapter Forty-Eight: New Captain-
The elevator doors opened, and in walked a tall, poise man.
"Hello. I am your new commanding officer, Captain Seth Dozerman. My motto is simple. Efficiency, efficiency, efficiency"
"Could probably just say it once" Jake said
"Are you making fun of my stutter?" He asked
"Oh I..." Jake started
"Tricked you. I don't have a stutter. Boom. I've already established my authority through my amazing sense of humour. Terry started to introduce the squad when he cut them off, having no need for people, as the man had a heart attack before.
Jake found Amy in the copy room, and walked in
"Listen, I know you said you don't date cops. But I really like you" He said
"I like you too" She admitted
"Good" Jake said
"But what if we start dating and if things don't work?" she asked
"So, let's just keep it light and breezy" He suggested "See where it goes"
"Totally, yeah. So how do we keep it light and breezy?" she asked "I know. A comprehensive set of rules" She said
"How am I attracted to you? Doesn't matter, I am. Go" Jake said
"Rule one. Let's not tell anyone so we can figure out what this is" She said.
Well I have 14 years of practice, that should be ok Jake thought.
"Smort. Rule number two, let's not put labels on it. We're not boyfriend and girlfriend, we're just 'mmrmzeep' and 'jinglebin'" Jake said
"Great. Rue number three, let's not have sex right away" She said
"Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. No doubt, no doubt, no doubt, no doubt. Good rule no sex, good rule" He reluctantly agreed
"So, should we go out tonight?" She asked
"Yeah, totally" Jake agreed
"Maybe 8, maybe 9. Doesn't matter. We're light and breezy" Jake said
"Totally light and breezy" She replied, screaming when Terry knocked on the window informing them to go to the briefing room. Rosa looked up at this, and saw the two together. She tried to look away but found it hard.
"Wow. Very chill" Jake said
"Holy Moses. He's alive" Jake said as Dozerman walked into the briefing room as he explained his medical condition, and introduced the Dozerpads.
Rosa, in a constant bad mood from Jake, took it out on Terry this time.
"Bouche Manger? Oh, small plates, casual-chic ambiance. No free soda refills, Ah! Jakey's going on a date" Charles deduced "Are you going on a date with Amy?" He asked
"What? No why?" Jake asked
"Uh, because you guys kissed on that mission" Charles said
"Charles, we just kissed because we were undercover. That's it" Jake said
"Yeah, it didn't mean anything" Amy agreed
"Not that it's any of your business, Boyle but the person that I'm taking on a date... Is a girl from the gym" Jake said.
"What? Why is this the first time I'm hearing about her? Or that you go to the gym?" Charles asked "Jake, avoid the weights, we don't want you turning into another Terry" He said
"I can't believe it. You're going to take some fitness floozy to Bouche Manger. You should be going with Amy. Right Amy?" He asked. Amy shrugged
"Whatever dog, date the flooze" Amy said
"See" Jake declared "It's never going to happen Boyle, ok? Because I find Amy repulsive, and she finds me extremely handsome. So, stop pressuring us" Jake said
"Oh, you sweet naïve boy. I haven't even begun to pressure you two. I've already written my best man speech for your wedding. Oh, I'm going to need you to get married on a farm. A lot of my jokes rely on that" Charles said
The rest of the day went well. Jake had chosen a place that he had never gone with Rosa, which was hard as they had been to many over the last 14 years.
The date started rocky, but Jake noticed that Amy ordered 4 shots each. And he knew what 4 drink Amy was. He appreciated the bold step.
"We're keeping it light and breezy" Jake said. Then the waitress returned with their drinks. They downed two instantly, and as their food arrived, they drank the other two, with their wine over dinner.
They finished their dinner, and they had become a lot less awkward. The tension lifted as they had dessert. Jake ordering the chocolate mousse, and Amy ordering a cheesecake.
"Oh my GOD!" Jake moaned as he tasted the mousse
"That good?" She asked
"Here, taste it" He said, getting a spoonful and feeding it to her.
"Mmm, Jake" She moaned, a moan that went straight to Jake's dick "That is so good" She said digging her spoon in and tasting some more. Jake noticed she had a bit of mousse on her lip.
"Here" He said, wiping it off with his finger, he caught her eye and the look of lust was unmistakable. He slipped his hand up and round to her. Cheek to her hair, she leant into him, moaning ever so lightly
"Come on" He said standing up. She stood up with him, and he opened his wallet, leaving more than enough money on the table, including a generous tip. He grabbed her hand and walked her down the path to his place, which was two blocks away.
Once inside, and the door closed, Jake froze, Not knowing where to go from there. Amy, however answered the question for him. She pushed him into the door, kissing him. His hands met her waist as he kissed her back. She practically dragged him up the steps to his bed.
She lay on the bed, and slipped her arms around Jake's shoulder's. And pulled off his jacket, then his shirt. Jake, fuelled by alcohol, let his hands wander her frame, and pull off her dress. Jake was so used to Rosa, he took extra time admiring Amy. Different bodies, he knew that she would like different things. He was excited to find them out.
Both naked, Jake slipped a finger to her core and felt her shiver at his touch. Slipping a finger inside, he noticed that she didn't clench around her like Rosa did. But she was dripping in arousal.
Jake positioned himself next to her entrance and slipped inside her
"Oh my God!" She cried when he first entered her, rocking his hips against hers enticingly
"Mmm. Oh God! She moaned. Jake noticed already, that she was more vocal than Rosa. He had to stop comparing the two.
He could feel her getting closer. She gripped the sheets with white knuckled as she started chanting
"Oh God, Oh God, Oh God, Oh God, Oh God, Oh God" She moaned until she let out a loud scream as she tightened around his member. Jake, lost in the feeling and watching her body reach its climax, found his own release. He collapsed by the side of her and they both let themselves come down from their high.
"So" He said breaking the silence "We broke a rule" He added.
"Yeah" She agreed. "I hope it wasn't a mistake" She added
"I hope it wasn't a mistake, title of your sex tape" Jake said before gasping "Title of our sex tape" He corrected
Deciding that it was way too early to stay the night, Amy left, and Jake went to shower then get into bed.
-The Next Day-
Rosa watched as Charles went and sat by Jake's desk.
"So. How was the date with the floozy?" He asked "We are. not leaving these seats until you give me some deets" He said
"Alright. It started off a bit rocky, but it ended up being really fun" Jake said
"Did you kiss? Did you French?" Charles asked
"Boyle, I'm not going to answer that. And no one over the age of 12 says 'French'" Jake said
"Oh, that's a yes. Oh, my God! You had sex. Urgh! I can tell because you're glowing. Urgh! Jake, no one wants to hear about your sex life!" Charles said
"You just asked me repeatedly" Jake reminded him
"Because I was rooting for you and Amy, but now I can see you're super serious about this anonymous gym seductress" Charles said
"Urgh. I'm so sorry Amy" Charles said
"It doesn't matter to me. I'm-I would never date Jake. I work with Jake" She said
"I'd love to see you date someone from work, your head would explode" Rosa said unable to stop the saddened look on her face. She knew about Jake and Amy. She would be stupid not to. Jake had done it. He had slept with Amy. Rosa flicked her eyes up, to Meet Jake. The look in his eye confirmed it for her.
"Your head would explode, from how well I would handle it" She said
"Mm. Sick burn" Rosa said, when Terry called Jake into Dozerman's office and the next thing they knew was Dozerman's voice coming from the pads, telling everyone to stop talking about his personal life.
An hour later, Jake watched Amy walk into the evidence room, and he followed her
"Yeah I'm trying to find some evidence, I'm just going to look in here" He said as he walked inside the room." Jake called "Another perfect cover, two for two, nailed it" He said to Amy "Alright, I talked to Dozerman and convinced him to outlaw all personal talk at work, we're in the clear" He celebrated
"And everyone hates you for that, but this is totally working and no one knows" AMy said excitedly
"I know it's the best, and you know what? I'm glad we broke the rule and had sex on the first date" He said
"Me too, because we're like. Really good at it" She said
"So good, right?" He replied
"Stupid good" She added
"It makes no sense" Jake replied "We're light and breezy, if we want to break rules, we can break rules. Like, what's another rule we could break?" He asked
"No making out at work" She suggested
"Ok, that's very flattering Amy, but there are some rules that I shall never-" He started when she grabbed his hand and pulled him away.
"You two have been in this evidence locker for" Dozerman said walking in on Jake and Amy kissing
"Hey!" He shouted
"What? Nothing?" Amy said pushing Jake down
"Nothing? You were just making out with Peralta" He said
"Ah! There's that candy bar wrapper I was looking for" Jake announced standing up "Oh, Santiago, what are you doing here?" Jake asked
"Oh. So, I guess it is hoes before cho's with you, Friend" Dozerman said "Now I understand why nothing gets done in this Precinct, the Detectives are too busy Frenching with each other, but you know what? Your little honeymoon is over" He shouted "Because as long as I'm here, you two are done, and I will be here for a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long EEHH" He squealed
"Oh this is a heart attack. This is a real one right here. Oh, its's a big one. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh" He moaned
"I'm going to get help" Amy said
"Sir, it's alright, we're getting help" Jake told him
"Ok. Tell my wife, I love her... Work ethic" Dozerman said as he died in front of Jake.
The coroner came, and took him, and that was when Terry rounded on the squad
"What happened in there?" Terry asked
"Nothing. We were just working. Separately" Jake said
"And Dozerman just walked in and died" Amy added
"Peacefully. Like an old cat" Jake said
"Can you think of anything that may have caused Dozerman to be startled?" Terry asked. Rosa paused behind to over hear the conversation
"Nope, uh. He may have been startled by how far apart we were standing" Amy suggested
"That seems unlikely, but he did have a ton of health problems. So, this seems pretty open and shut. Do me a favour and pull the surveillance tapes" Terry said
"Right. The surveillance tapes" Jake said
"Because this is a police Precinct" Amy added
"Do you two have something to tell me?" Terry asked
"Alright, fine. Detective Santiago and I may have been … Snorking" Jake admitted.
"YYEEESSSS!" Charles celebrated from besides them "Oh. Wait? What about the Gym floozy? Amy was the gym floozy! The gym floozy was under my nose the whole time. I am over the moon!" Charles celebrated. Rosa, feeling emotions fill her, knew she had to ask
"So, what is this?" She asked "Casual, serious. I need to know how to make fun of you. Are you guys dating?" She asked
"Yes" Amy admitted as Jake said "No"
"Oh, that's not good" She said
"I mean, yes. I just said no because of the rules. We said we weren't going to tell anyone" Jake said
"It's very new and we're still figuring it out" She said
"Enough! Look. Terry loves love. But Terry also loves maintaining a professional work environment. As your commanding officer, I am very disappointed in the both of you" He said
"So Boyle" Rosa said once Terry walked away "Let's go look at those surveillance tapes, yeah?" She asked
"Absolutely" Boyle agreed. Rosa gave Jake a look as she walked off.
20 minutes later, Jake walked off to the security room.
"Boyle. Out. Now!" Jake said Boyle sighed and walked out.
"Over ten years of me and you … What was that word you used? 'Snorking' in here, and we never once got caught on the camera. But one day with Amy, you've been caught on camera, and you killed our Captain" She said
"That's not why I'm in here" He said
"I know" She replied
"How are you doing?" He asked
"Jake, we don't have to do this" She said
"I need to know" He said
"I'm fine" She said, he raised an eyebrow at her "I'll be fine, I'll get there. I'm happy for you" She said. He smiled at her
"Thank you" He replied
Things only went from bad to worse, when the Vulture announced his new role as Captain of the Nine-Nine
