"J-Jamie? What are you doing here? How did Hades let you in?" I was stunned, I was also angry. I came down here so that I wouldn't hurt him, but now he was down here.
"I'm Nico's boyfriend," Will said, "I have some, let's say, privileges. Nico you're coming back to camp with us, so are you Trish."
"But Will," Nico whined, "We were having fun. I don't want to go."
"Will," I said, "Did anyone tell you why I'm down here?"
"Well, uh, no. But-,"
I turned to Jamie and put my hood down, I heard Will gasp. I was angry and nothing was going to stop me, "I told you I'm staying down here, I don't want to hurt anyone," my voice deepened. Uh oh, I thought, I don't think the gloves are helping. I stared straight at Jamie. "I told you to leave me! I'm too dangerous!"
I noticed that Jamie and Will's face were pale, even Nico's was pale, well paler than usual. I tried to calm down, but I couldn't. The room darkened, No, I thought, stop.
All of a sudden, I collapsed to the ground. I looked up to see Hades standing in front of me.
"I see the gloves didn't work," Hades boomed, he held out his hand and helped me up.
"I-I'm so sorry."
"Hmm," was all Hades said as he walked toward the door, "Now you know why she's so dangerous, Will. She can go back to camp, but you have to take extra precaution, if she gets even the slightest of anger, her curse will react."
"B-But, Hades, please, I want to stay down here," I pleaded.
"You are not safe here or there; it doesn't matter where you are. Would you rather be with close friends, are down here in the darkness? You may choose, you may stay here with Persephone and me, or you can go with them." Hades then turned away and I listened to his loud footsteps going down the hallway.
"So, where are you going to stay?" Will asked.
"You said that Coral won't stop crying?" I looked over at Jamie who was grinning like an idiot.
I still didn't think this was a good idea, but I still went through with it. I was really nervous though, I really didn't want to hurt anyone.
I couldn't help to stop shaking when Nico grabbed my arm, as well as Jamie's shoulder, and Will grabbed Nico's shoulder.
We shadow traveled right up to Half Blood Hill. I quickly put my hood back up, I didn't need anyone freaking out. "Coral should still be in the Big House, along with everyone else who had gone on the quest," Will said.
I didn't even wait for Will, Nico and Jamie, I ran to the Big House and bound up the stairs to the porch. I ran right through the doorway, to be standing in front of Calypso, Travis, Connor, Coral, Katie, Annabeth, Percy and Chiron.
The first Person to notice me was Coral. "Trish!" she yelled as she squirmed out of Katie's grip.
I bent down as Coral slammed into me, giving me a hug, and almost knocking me to the ground. "I missed you," I whispered into her hair.
"Hey looked who decided to come back," Travis grumbled crossing his arms.
"Will someone please tell me what's going on?" Katie asked, "All I know is that Coral won't stop crying because Trish left to go to the underworld, but now she's back, so what in Hades is going on?"
"Katie, do you promise not to tell anyone," I said.
"I-, yeah, why?"
I pulled my hood down, Katie stared at my eyes. I looked away; I didn't like it when people stared at my eyes like that.
Annabeth then spoke up, "So Katie, long ago, even before the gods were created, when the titans still ruled, there was a prophecy about a child being born who would be extremely powerful. Its said that the child would be the earthly equivalent of good and bad, two personalities in one. That's probably why one eyes is pure black and the other is gold."
"Oh, I, uh," Katie sputtered.
"Yeah, so know you know," Travis said walking out the doorway.
"Wait, Travis!" I called after him. I ran after him, "Travis, stop!"
"No, you stop Trish!" Travis yelled turning around.
I was stunned, it was the first time, in a long time, that he hadn't called me sis. "You made the choice to leave us on Olympus, then you made the choice to stay down in the Underworld. You didn't even think about how that would affect me or anyone! We were so worried about you, don't you get it!" he went to turn around.
"Travis, all I could think about is being up here again, but I thought that it would be too dangerous up here for me. I didn't want to harm anyone. But Hades convinced me to come back up here. Please Travis, you have to understand." I pleaded.
Travis just turned around and stormed off. I watched as Travis walked into the Hermes cabin and slammed the door behind him.
I saw Connor appear beside me. "I guess were down to CT," he said.
"You're not mad at me?"
"No, I get it, you were just protecting us. I just wish my brother can see that. Don't worry you're still our sis, sis," Connor said with a smile, he put his arm around my shoulders.
"Thanks," I mumbled.
Connor led me back to the Big House.
"Well, you should all get some rest, and we'll talk about this more in the morning," I heard Chiron say as me and Connor got up to the deck.
I walked inside. "Good," Chiron said, "You're back Trish. I need to talk to you and Jamie."
Chiron waited until everyone was out of the Big House to talk to us. "So because you two are together."
"We're not together," I muttered.
"I don't think its such a good idea to let you guys stay in the same cabin anymore."
"But Chiron," I complained.
"No rules are rules. Now Trish, go back to your cabin, and Jamie, you will get your stuff, and go back to Hermes cabin."
Chiron then left, not giving us any time to argue.
Jamie and I said nothing as we walked to my cabin. Coral was already there when we arrived. "Well," I said, "I knew that was going happen sooner or later."
"Yeah. But why do keep saying that we're not "together"?" he asked.
"Oh come on, you know me, I don't like that kind of… stuff."
"Yeah, I guess."
"Are you going to keep the alarm clock here?" I asked.
"Why would I? I might hate it in the morning, but I love it, its hilarious. Also I want to see what my siblings are going to do."
I just laughed. "I going to miss you," Coral said wrapping her arms around Jamie's legs.
"You know that you'll see him around camp," I told Coral.
"Oh yeeaaah," she said with a smile.
This made us all laugh.
I put Coral to bed shortly after Jamie left, I then decided to go sit outside on the stairs of my cabin. I sat there just looking at the stars for what seemed like forever. "Hey," I heard someone say. I quickly put my hood up.
I saw Piper come out of the shadows. She was dressed in purple Pajama pants with a white tank top and a sweater over her shoulders.
"Hey," I replied.
"What are you doing up?" she asked me.
"I should ask you the same thing."
"Hm, I couldn't sleep."
"thinking about Jason?" I asked.
"H-how did you know?" I just shrugged my shoulders. "Its been about four years, and I still have nightmares about it," she sighed.
"How do you sleep?"
"What do you mean?"
"Like, I'm terrified to sleep, I never had dreams before," I explained.
"Before your quest? Yeah I heard about it, how you were attacked by a goddess."
"Yeah, Nemesis," I shuttered as I said her name.
"I don't need to know what happened, and you don't have to tell me. But I want to let you know that you can talk to me."
She went to get up. "Wait," I said, "I have another question."
"Hmm?"
"Sometimes do you just wish that your life would go back to normal, I mean before you found out your were a half-blood?"
"I mean sometimes, yeah. But there's definitely its moments." And with that Piper turned away and started walking towards the lake.
I sat back down on the white marble stairs and just stared at the sky. After a few minutes I decided to head back inside and fall asleep.
I was woken up by Jamie and Connor shaking me awake. "What? What?" I said sitting up. I placed my hand on Connor's head to keep him from getting dizzy.
"Thanks," he muttered, "Anyway, we're having pancakes for breakfast!" he threw his arms in the air and started pumping his fists.
"So?" I said.
The two just looked at me like I was crazy.
"One word," Jamie said, "Pan-cakes."
"come on, come on, come on!" Connor yelled.
"Fine, just wait, I need to get dressed," I said standing up and stretching.
"Okay, but hurry," Jamie exclaimed. I then walked to the bathroom.
That morning I probably got dressed the fastest I ever had. As soon as I stepped out of the bathroom and had my hood up, Connor and Jamie both grabbed one of my arms and pulled me out of the cabin.
"Wait, what about Coral?" I said trying to pull against the two boy's strength.
"Katie's on her way now, she'll get Coral," Connor said.
I let them lead me all the way to the pavilion. Like I suspected, half the camp was already there. I looked over at the Hermes table to see that they were all tired and annoyed.
I pointed to them and turned to Jamie, "Alarm clock?" I asked. He nodded his head with a grin playing across his face.
After I got my pancakes, I sat down at the Poseidon table like usual. "Hey," I said sitting down.
"Will you tell Annabeth to put that book down," Percy complained.
"But its interesting," Annabeth said not even looking up from it.
Percy turned to me, "she's been glued to that thing ever since you handed it to her."
I turned to look at Annabeth, "Annabeth, give me the book or I'll take it from you."
She glared at me with her you-touch-my-stuff-I'll-kill-you glare. I just glared back at her.
"Fine," she scoffed, handing me the book.
"Thank you," Percy said to me.
"No problem," I laughed.
"I see your back from you little quest," someone sneered from behind me.
"Hello Jazmin," I sighed.
"You know you might have been able to overpower me before, but that will never happen again. I've gotten stronger," she bragged.
I just rolled my eyes.
"Plus, my mother, is a goddess. Heh, and yours is dead."
I saw Jamie look over at me from the Hermes table. "Jazmin, stop!" he yelled, "You don't know how dangerous that is!"
"Oh look at your boyfriend trying to defend you," she laughed.
"Jazmin please stop," I whispered.
"Why? Can you not face the truth?" she asked. Just then the sky rumbled. "What's with that stupid hood anyway? You have a bad hair day or something?" she laughed again.
I stood up and spun around so fast my hood came flying off. "W-what's wrong with your eyes," Jazmin said pointing to me eyes.
"JAZMIN STOP!" Chiron yelled. But it was too late she had already made me mad.
