Emma unzipped the cat carrier and looked to Alice, "Come on, girl."

Alice climbed into the carrier with no fuss and Emma zipped it up, thankful that Alice was easier to get in the cat carrier than the last cat she trained Weiss. That prickly himalyan was so hard to get in the carrier most of the time she just ended up carrying her instead.

Plagg just looked at the cat threw the backpack carrier and sighed, "I don't understand how a self respecting cat can let herself be caged like this."

The girl rolled her eyes and motioned to the button shirt's pocket, "Same reason you go into my pockets. Bribery."

Plagg sighed and flew into her pocket as she gave him some camembert and slipped a treat for Alice as well .

Emma grabbed the bag and carefully put it on her back and headed out. She was almost out the bakery completely but was surprised to see as she was leaving that in the bakery eating cake was Louis, Hugo, and Nathalie, Nathalie was on bail more or less till her trial about her actions as Mayura so her appearance wasn't a surprise anymore but her having luck with Louis was.

"Emma, where are you heading to?" Nathalie asked, noticing the cat carrier.

"Vet," She replied as she pushed her glasses, "Sophie asked for help picking out a cat and I agreed. Figured I'd take Alice to the vet for a check up too."

Louis got a look on his face, "Em, can we chat?"

….

Emma looked at Louis as he closed the bakery door behind him, "is everything okay?"

The younger boy sighed and looked guilty at Emma, "Don't date Sophie."

There was a beat of silence between them.

"What?" the teenager asked confused.

Louis looked at Emma looking so broken, "Sophie is going to ask you out. Please don't say yes. I just...don't think I can deal with that right now."

The girl raised her eyebrow, confusion in her green eyes, "Um, Sophie is not going to ask me out. She's straight."

Amusement filled Louis's sad blue eyes, "Sophie has never denied her attraction to girls and we've all noticed how you both look at eachother. It makes me mad and irrational. I'm sorry, I just need time work it out or else I might be stupid. So please, don't date Sophie right now."

The girl shook her head, "Sophie and I aren't going to date, Lou. Cause she doesn't like me."

With that Emma left, leaving a distraught looking Louis behind her.

….

Chloé laughed a little at Sophie as she looked into the vet to see Emma handing off Alice to a cute vet tech, "Your crush on her is so cute."

Sophie blushed deeply at her mothers comment, "I mean...She's….I...her arms…"

It was true that Emma was wearing a shirt that actually showed her arms off since it was finally warming up enough for to do so and Sophie now knew why everyone talked about her arms.

Sophie's mother laughed at this, honestly from the times she saw Sophie and Emma interact they would be a cute couple. Chloé couldn't count the number of times she came into her living room to see Emma asleep next to Sophie on the couch or Sophie sharing a blanket with Emma complaining it was cold and Emma was warm.

Chloé tsked and started walking away, "Text me when you're done with your girlfriend. "

Sophie looked embarrassed at her mom and muttered, "Not my girlfriend….not yet."

….

Sophie looked annoyed at the black cat as it chewed on her yang necklace, "That's not your toy!"

Emma laughed and took the kitten from Sophie whispering words to it in english as she put the cat in the cage.

The blonde was still learning english and wasn't sure but she thinks Emma is calling the cat a sweet baby. Sophie's eyes catch on her arms noticing the pink scar on her left arm from when she was trapped in that building that collapsed, guilt hit her a little at not being able to protect her then.

"Sophie?" Emma asked, confused at Sophie's silence and staring.

The girl blushed and distracted herself by looking at an orange tabby, "How's your arm doing?"

Rubbing her left arm Emma replied, "Better. See any cats you like yet?"

There were so many it was honestly hard too chose, Sophie knew next to nothing about cats which why she had invited Emma, among other reasons.

The blonde hero looked to Emma about to ask her opinion of the cats when she heard a sound. A weird meow that got her attention and she kneeled down to look at the cat that made it. It was a kitten that was very fluffy and looked like an orange tabby but was more brownish, "hello, there."

The cat made the noise again and rubbed against the cage.

Emma kneeled down next to her and smiled, "Well, then this is a cutie."

Sophie smiled too and opened the cage allowing the cat into her arms, "She is."

"She's a norwegian forest cat. I figured by the trill she made," Emma read the paper on the cage.

The kitten in question purred as she continued rubbing on Sophie, "I love her already."

Emma laughed and leaned forward to pet the cat, "Any name ideas. I usually name mine after characters I like."

The cat trilled again and Sophie hugged her a little before answering, "Robin."

"Robin?" Emma asked confused as she let the cat place with her yin necklace for a second, "She's not really red or orange…"

"No, Robin like the Robin from Once Upon of Time," Sophie explained not thinking as she continued petting the cat, "Like your cat is Alice mine can be Robin. It's cute. I hope they get along. I want them to get along. I see us on a couch with the cats next to us in a cute apartment in the future. Or you cooking, I really can't cook, and it's so cute. I would do the dishes and we can watch movies and play with cats…"

Sophie trailed off as she saw the confused look on Emma's face, "What?"

"That sounds very domestic?" Emma summarized.

A blush creep on Sophie's face and she quickly put the cat back in cage as she realized she let her daydream spill out, "Um, yes well. I've been meaning to….this is harder….Um…"

Emma waited patiently for Sophie to explain as she straightened her glasses.

Finally, Sophie realized she sucked at words and leaned in and up, though Emma wasn't much taller than her she was still a bit taller, kissed Emma gently on the lips.

It only took a minute for Emma to start kissing back.

Outside the cat room the vet receptionists were looking in at the teenagers.

The younger one looked at the older one, "Told you. Lesbians. You owe me money."

The older one looked annoyed, "Why are the girls looking at cats always lesbians…"

….

Suddenly Emma pushed Sophie away.

The blonde girl looked confused trying to catch her breath, "Emma?"

The older girl looked conflicted and upset, "Sophie...We can't. We can't do this."
