Inside of Yuta's Soul…
BGM: Aria of the Soul - Persona Series - Velvet Room's theme
"A long time ago, the multiverse was once a void where nothing truly existed. Light, darkness and everything else was all tangled together. And from it, only Chaos itself existed." Truth told Yuta. "But from this mix of Chaos, life would come to blossom as an entity came to exist thanks to its powers to create life. This being was the first true dragon that would come to exist, being simply known as Fantasia - The Genesis Dragon of Creation."
A magical screen appears before the two of them, showing an eastern golden dragon with green eyes traveling through a black void.
"Wait... Fantasia? As In Fantasia Code - The Special Capsule? And Genesis? As in your master? " The Ultra asks, earning a nod from the faceless one.
"Indeed. This dragon was the first being to ever exist. As he was lonely, he used his power to create the rest of the multiverse." Truth shows a scene to Yuta where the golden dragon is creating several universes. "This action, however, took nearly all of the dragon's power, and he almost died. Using the last of his power, Genesis shed a single tear, which contained all of his emotions and knowledge."
The magical screen shows the dragon crying a single tear from one of its green eyes before disappearing.
"The tear traveled through the cosmos and eventually impacted many universes, granting the power of Chaos to beings Fantasia demmed worthy of possessing such ability. Humans happened to be amongst some of them as those kinds would later develop the capacity of possessing unlimited potential as a result." The white being finishes.
"I see." Yuta speaks, sounding fascinated with the story. 'To think this is how the multiverse came to be… Maybe the reason dragons are viewed as a symbol of power and prominence might be somehow related to Fantasia as well...'
The ravenette begins to think about what Azazel told him in regards to the dragons of the Supernatural World…
Dragons are one of the most powerful and prominent creatures in the world.
Dragons are creatures that represent power. As such, in all ages, Dragons are admired, respected, and feared by all. The Dragons are the only creatures who, as a race, did not side with any of the three factions in the Great War, unlike the Youkai, European Monsters, spirits, fairies, and other supernatural races. However, some Dragons did join one of the Three Factions.
Dragons are beings created from large masses of energy who act freely and selfishly. Despite this, they have an extremely high level of intelligence.
Azazel theorized that the reason dragons are so powerful is their purity of thought that compels them to devote their all to one goal. He also observed and stated that Dragons live according to their own free will. Some of them, like the two Heavenly Dragons, tend to rely on their obsessions for things focusing on a singular purpose even if their original bodies are destroyed.
It is also a known fact that it is a grave mistake to anger a dragon of any level, whether it be a Low-class Dragon or one of the Heavenly Dragons.
Currently, almost all of the Dragons of legend are sealed in Sacred Gears, dormant, missing, or dead.
"As for me, Genesis would come to create me to make someone oversee the balance between the universes and to protect reality itself in any way I could. I am someone who observes and chronicles the passage of events in the many worlds." Truth resumes.
"But why? Genesis didn't technically die, right? Can't he do something about this himself?" Yuta questions.
"It's not that simple, Yuta. I will tell you what happened with Genesis eventually. For now, bear it with me." The cosmic entity resumes his talk. "One of my jobs is to keep the many different worlds out there from crossing over each other to the best of my abilities." He explained.
"Crossing over?" The Ultra asked, not understanding what he meant.
"Ever see two shows have that one episode that crosses both of them into a special episode?" Truth asked with an example.
"Sometimes." Yuta answered, thinking of all those special episodes from animes and TV shows he'd seen, such as Kamen Rider and Super Sentai.
"Think of it on a much larger scale." Truth said as he brought a few worlds up. "Each world has the potential to crossover with the other."
He began as links began to pop up, with the same worlds appearing down the line.
"Usually through science or magic or other such ways, worlds can sometimes interact with each other, creating new timelines and such for one or both of those worlds." The featureless one said as two worlds appeared together before a third one sprouted and created its own link. "A part of my job is to see what happens if that new world is left alone, based on the actions of those living in it."
Suddenly, that one world started having multiple worlds sprout from it and spread everywhere, clashing with other worlds and creating more worlds and timelines.
"If the wrong worlds collide, it could spread to other worlds and create dangerous clusters that will affect more worlds out there."
"So it's like a cancer of sorts?" Yuta mused.
"Something like that." Truth shrugged. "Sometimes there are worlds that can co-exist and stay as just one new timeline. But I and many others keep a watch to stop it before it can get out of control."
"How do you do that?" The human asked.
"We look into the worlds and see what could cause it, and with our powers cause minor manipulations to keep them from crossing over." The white cosmic entity finished before making the worlds vanish. "Yes, that's right… Anything is possible... The multiverse is endless. Anything can exist within it. As such, places that people from your world would merely see as a source of entertainment definitely exist somewhere else in another universe. This certainly applies for the Nebula M78 and the Hikari no Kuni(Land of Light), where most of the Ultra Heroes reside."
'The Nebula M78… And the Land of Light… I wonder if I could go there someday...' Yuta ponders.
Nebula M78 is the nebula that serves as the greater location of the Land of Light, the homeworld of most Ultras in the World of the Land of Light. It is three million light-years away from Earth and is noted to house more than just one planet where Ultras and other civilizations can be found.
The Land of Light, also known as The Ultra Star or the Land of Ultra, is the homeworld of the Ultras of Nebula M78. It is located 3 million light-years away from Planet Earth, is 60 times the size of Earth, and has a population of over 18 billion.
"Alright. Now then… Let's talk about beings that can threaten the balance in the multiverse. And unfortunately, I cannot interfere directly to deal with this matter. While I may have a benevolent view of humanity, my role is that of a neutral observer as I'm tasked with watching things unfold. And as I said before to you, neither I nor Genesis are truly omnipotent beings in the end. We can both die as well. And I have rules to follow as I try my best to aid you, Yuta."
"..." Yuta lets the information sink in his mind as he remembers the previous discussion he had with the cosmic being so far. He then prepares to learn about the dangerous being that can destroy reality as a whole if Fantasia Code falls in their hands.
"It was eons ago… There was a certain being of Chaos that was born from the conglomerate of several negative emotions and dark energy that spread throughout the multiverse. The more these negative emotions and dark energy gather, the stronger it got to the point it finally gained sentience. Being filled and only knowing dread, hatred, sadness, and darkness, he made it his goal to take over all realities and make it a unique one without positive emotions.
Yes, the final outcome this Malevolent Entity desires is that he wishes to stagnate the worlds into complete apathy while ruling over them with an iron fist, which he attempts to ensure will happen regardless of the ways he needs to make use of with his inner Chaos."
"What? But how is this possible, Truth?" The Ultraman asks, not believing how this dark being came to be.
"Chaos is the source of life. Anything is possible with it, Yuta. And whether they are based on positive or negative emotions, Chaos Users with strong feelings can overcome anything. Even concepts such as time and death."
"It can't be..." The black-haired teenager looks horrified at this.
"Remember, Chaos is the source of life itself, and a living thing that doesn't have Chaos will wither and die. And because it is linked with such strong emotions, Chaos also gives way to create negativity such as hatred and malice, creating suffering to those that misuse it. The power of Chaos is unfortunately not only for good intentions such as the desire to protect and to never give up for a better future."
'One example of this would probably be the Knights of Chaos...' Yuta thinks sadly as he thinks about all the destruction the group of Chaos Users brought to the Supernatural Community.
"The Malevolent Entity eventually became a powerful deity capable of scenting 'hope' and destroying its sources. He could also use living beings with dark hearts as vessels, granting them dense malicious powers while also being able to freely manipulate them as his puppets. With that, this cosmic being traveled through the multiverse, managing to transcend space and time, as he 'consumed' many beings to further empower himself while also amassing a large army composed of several warriors and monsters from the multiverse that he demmed worthy of serving him." Truth resumes speaking.
'Whoever he is, this Malevolent Entity seems to also be an impressive strategist adept at orchestrating plans from the shadows.' Yuta ponders, paling at what this enemy semmed to be capable of doing.
Does that mean nothing could truly oppose this being of darkness?
"But not all hope was lost as someone would rise to stop the Malevolent Entity." Truth declares, surprising Yuta.
"What? Really? Who?" The boy asked several questions.
Just who exactly could be capable of fighting such a powerful cosmic entity of evil?
"He was like you, Yuta. A human that learned about the power of Chaos in order to fight for peace and hope for a better future. Furthermore, he embraced concepts such as light, the spirit to never give up and the power of bonds in order to become an Ultraman and face the Malevolent Entity. His name was Astral. Ultraman Astral."
"What…? A Chaos User that became an Ultraman? Astral… Ultraman Astral..." The boy utters, shock on his face.
But now that he thought about it, this would make sense. The Ultras are beings of light who are known for their great powers and a strong sense of compassion and justice, which motivates them to promote peace across the universe.
And not all of them came from the Land of Light, given that there were other Ultra Worlds such as U40 and O-50...
'And besides, there are also Ultras with mysterious origins such as Dyna, Cosmos and Noa...' Yuta ponders.
"Astral and the Malevolent Entity eventually clashed, causing a cosmic uproar across the endless galaxies. Rains of destruction poured down on planets as a result while lightning ripped through the very cosmos."
"And then? What happened next? Who won?" The human inquiries.
"Nobody is sure. The two eventually clashed and vanished after exhausting their powers due to the fight, creating something unexpected as a result."
"Eh? What did they create?" Yuta asks, having the feeling that he would not like the answer.
"Fantasia Code." Truth reveals.
"*Gasp!* W-What!?" The boy widened his eyes in disbelief at this. "Fantasia Code exists because of them!? Because of their fight!?" The cosmic being nods at the Ultra Hero.
"Their clash made fragments of the Malevolent Entity and Astral's powers scatter across the Earth you currently live, designating the location of the Fantasia Code. They took the form of 'Capsules' and the Little Stars. The two beings amassed a large amount of power, that combined, could create something that could easily destroy the universe in the wrong hands." Truth tells him.
"The Capsules? Now that I think about it… Why they took the form of the Ultra and Kaiju Capsules? And why Fantasia Code itself is a Capsule?" Yuta asks. He knew that Little Stars would be naturally involved in the use of Capsules was demmed necessary.
"It was a coincidence, Yuta. Interestingly enough, Astral also used Ultra Capsules to fight as an Ultraman. That's why all the items you need to acquire took the shape of those items. A side effect of the fight that somehow also affected the fragments of the Malevolent Entity's powers. And the creation of Little Stars also happened because Astral passed through the same thing Ultraman King did during the events of the original Ultraman Geed's TV series."
"No way… But wait… Why the Fantasia Code Capsule itself is named after the Genesis Dragon? Did your master also had a hand in its creation?" The ravenette wonders.
"Yes… the weakened Fantasia - The Genesis Dragon decided to borrow the power of the 'Capsules' in order to keep existing. His spirit would become the key to the Code, also installing a fail-safe into the cosmic item that would be named after him as a result of this particular action."
"What is the fail-safe?"
"The fail-safe is that Fantasia Code could only be accessed by someone that is an Ultraman." Truth reveals as Yuta looks astounded at this. "In fear of someone malicious like the Malevolent Entity gaining access to the Code's powers, Fantasia decides to become a key to its powers after placing the condition that only an Ultra, a being of light that fights for peace and justice, could use it. He mainly did so after seeing Ultraman Astral's pure heart, being moved by his selfless desire to fight for peace."
"I see… So that's why Fantasia Code can only be used by an Ultraman..." Yuta adopts a look of understanding at this. "And what happened with Astral and the Malevolent Entity? You still didn't tell me their fates after their battle, Truth. They weren't truly gone, were they?"
"The Malevolent Entity became sealed as a result of the fight, becoming trapped within a void realm of sorts. Furthermore, there are certain Mythyrian 'Capsules' that attached themselves to legends on Earth and keep his powers sealed to this day. But although sealed away, the weakened Malevolent Entity still has enough power to act. He will do whatever it takes to acquire Fantasia Code. No matter what."
"But what about Astral? Is he also sealed away somewhere?" Yuta wonders.
But Truth only shook his head at this as he proceeds to explain:
"Astral perished after the battle." Yuta looks grim at the revelation. "But that doesn't mean that he is completly gone. His soul merely returned to The Sea of Souls."
"The Sea of Souls?"
Suddenly, the environment around the two of them changes as Yuta and Truth now find themselves floating in what appears to be outer space, with many stars across the galaxy before them.
"The Sea of Souls is a location linked to the collective unconscious of powerful hearts, mainly those of Chaos Users. Many souls come from this sea, and all of those souls will return to it when the person it belongs to dies. This applies to Astral… And you as well."
As Yuta looks around, The Sea of Souls appears at first glance to resemble outer space, though, on closer inspection, the 'stars' are actually souls.
"What do you mean, Truth? Why me as well? Why my soul belongs there? And why not somewhere like Heaven or Hell?" Yuta asks, confused.
"All sapient creatures possess souls. They can exist within you or, on a different level of existence, all-together in a way that mortal minds simply cannot comprehend. Death is the most common way in which the soul travels from one state of existence to the other, but not always.
As for where they end up… Well, that's a complex question with a vast multitude of answers, some of which are contradictory and yet none of them are wrong. It is a question asked by almost all beings, ever since the dawn of time and very few have found the answer. Most have simply ascribed to the idea of a Good Place and a Bad Place, with your actions in life echoing in death.
Where someone's soul goes after death is a highly complicated matter. It depends largely on their acts in life.
Normally, a good life leads to a good afterlife. A bad life leads to a bad afterlife. In either case, I have merely made sure that certain evil planes do not intrude upon this life of yours."
"But why my soul goes to this Sea of Souls specifically?"
"To put it plainly, it's because you're a heretic. You're someone that refuses to let a 'God' control your destiny. You don't let yourself be judged by whatever entity the rest of the society believes as someone like the Supernatural Gods would normally have authority over you. For normal people, the Gods have the power to manipulate their existence within and beyond the Astral Plane to house their souls in an afterlife. But not for you. As such, people like you tend to end at The Sea of Souls."
"The Sea of Souls..." Yuta repeats softly. He didn't know yet for sure if this was a good or a bad thing.
"You also have an unbelievable amount of luck."
"Luck? Does that mean I'm supposed to be extremely lucky?"
"Not exactly. Luck is the ability to defy fate. For most people, their fate is to live ordinary lives, never really moving away from their destined path. But you, Yuta, have indeed shown a great deal of luck given most of your deeds so far. But you can also be equally unlucky."
That's the part most people forget, luck came in many shades.
"That's the thing about luck and misfortune, two sides of the same coin. It comes in both flavors and in equal measure. It's up to you to make the best of it. Which, so far, you definitely have." Truth's explanation seemed to appease Yuta.
Never discount chance and luck as factors, they may be uncontrollable but they were still important. You would be a fool to ignore them...
"Alright… So, here's another thing you and Astral have in common… Souls that exist within The Sea of Souls also pass through a reincarnation process." Truth reveals.
Wait, what?
"H-Hold on. R-Reincarnation? Are you telling me that I… That I..." Yuta trialed off, a bead of sweat forming on the back of his head.
"Yes, your current life is not the first one. You indeed reincarnated into a new life, Yuta."
"I… I… I died once?" That was the first thing the boy managed to ask upon learning the shocking revelation.
And this soon makes the ravenette remember Orion accusing him of being Ultraman Belial's reincarnation.
No...
Could it be that he…
"I'm pretty sure I have an idea of what's passing tough your head right now, Yuta." The cosmic being says, getting the human's attention. "But I won't confirm nor deny anything for now."
"Truth, I… Why?" The black-haired Chaos User asks with a conflicted look on his face.
"First of all, you will never 'recover' the memories of your previous life, Yuta. Simply put, it can be said that you have been 'reset' and turned into something else new and different. Your current existence is unlike the previous one. The only thing that remains the same is your soul." Truth says, pointing at the ravenette's chest.
"My soul?" Yuta repeats, placing a hand on the middle of his chest.
"People are made up of body, mind and soul." Truth explained it to the young man before him. "Body is the hardware, the mind is made of programs and memory and the soul is the emotions and a sort of back up for those memories." He placed his hand on Yuta's heart. "Even if the body and mind die, the soul still has those 'memories' stored there inside of it as it returns to The Sea of Souls before reincarnating into a new life." He smiled at the human before he turned away. "Of course, it's a little hard to 'transfer' back. And that is how we sometimes get ghosts. A soul sticks around and all that raw emotion makes them unstable."
At this, Yuta can't help but wonder about this probably being how past enemies of the Ultra Heroes would later come back to confront them as ghosts, vengeful spirits filled with resentment and malice for being defeated by the beings of light.
"Back to the main topic of reincarnation… I can only say that, by now, the Chaos within you has awakened some 'past emotions' within the depths of your soul, Yuta. From its very roots."
"Then… Just what I am? What am I supposed to be?" Yuta softly asks the featureless being.
"By only taking such parameters into account, you're a splendid human being. In regards to the philosophical part of being human… I'm afraid I cannot help you there. The concept of what is strictly defined as human by your species is something that eludes me."
"Well… If I seem human, act like a human and feel emotions like a human… I suppose I am one in the end. However, why on Earth did I find myself resonating with Ultraman Belial's essence? Orion might not be wrong about some connection existing between me and him..."
"Yes… Even though the 'current' you is not Ultraman Belial, you certainly contain his essence. There is still a secret connection between you and him that I cannot reveal now to you."
"W-What!? Belial and I are… Connected? But how? And why?" Yuta ponders.
"Think about it… Do you truly think that it was by some lucky coincidence that you started your 'quest' with Ultraman and Belial's Ultra Capsules? There is a special reason why those two particular powers ended into your possession."
"They do?" Yuta asks, raising an eyebrow.
The Original Ultraman's Ultra Capsule suddenly materializes in Yuta's left hand.
"Ultraman's Little Star has been drawn by the light inside of your heart, its power mainly represents the bond you share with your late grandfather as it turned into a Capsule. After all, it was Daisuke, your grandfather, who introduced the Ultra Series to you, right? And the first Ultra Hero you learned about was the Shodai Ultraman himself, right?" Truth elaborates.
'Jii-chan...' The human briefly thinks solemnly about his grandfather and the times he would take the Yuta to Tsuburaya Studios to see his work at the Ultra Series.
"So the bond I share with my grandfather is what allowed me to use the Ultraman Capsule… I see… Even if he may no longer be around, Jii-chan is still watching over me in his own way..."
"Indeed." The cosmic being says as the ravenette correctly deduced things.
Ultraman Belial's Capsule suddenly materializes into Yuta's right hand.
"As for the Belial Capsule… You will eventually rediscover why and how you're connected to him… And as much as crazy as this may sound, Belial's soul is also watching over you… It's thanks to him that you can also fight as Ultraman Geed."
"I can transform into Ultraman Geed… Because of Belial?" The human asks, with Truth nodding to him.
"Remember this… Every single thing you do matters. You have been created as one of a kind. You have been created in order to make a difference. You have within you the power to change the world. You have the potential of a Nexus Point. That's also one of the reasons I choose you." Truth says to the human, smiling warmly at him.
"A Nexus Point?" Yuta repeats.
"Individuals who, in a past now long gone, had a particularly strong connection to the power of Chaos, and who could perform incredible feats while using that privilege. A more apt definition for you, humans, would be true heroes. They are people who fought against overwhelming odds in order to preserve the world and maintain peace."
"True heroes…" Yuta muttered. "In other words, with the aid of the power of Chaos, these people fought against evil forces like the Malevolent Entity?"
"Evil is quite a subjective term, one that is fraught with limitations." Truth said. "Its definition has changed throughout human history quite a few times, and so has what you humans define as good. I prefer to think of the cosmic balance as a push-and-pull between Light and Darkness. Both are fundamental forces in creation, with one keeping the other in check to maintain the world."
The white featureless entity snapped his fingers, materializing the image of a wheel in front of him, and resumed talking.
"Let's imagine this wheel is the cosmos. In order for it to move forward, a propelling force is essential. At the same time, the wheel must also be maintained in order to keep it in pristine condition. Should too much force be applied constantly, the wheel will eventually shatter.
If the wheel is simply maintained, but not propelled forward, it will remain rooted in its place, destined to stagnate in an unchanging state. In this case, the propelling power is Darkness, while the power maintaining it is Light. Through their combined power, they ensure that the world functions as it should."
"OK…" Yuta seemed a bit confused. "The philosophy lesson is interesting and all, but what does it have to do with our current problem?"
"The Malevolent Entity and Astral's clash was a clash of opposing wills. They are Darkness and Light respectively. More specifically, it was a clash between the desire for all life to end, and the desire for life to be preserved.
Malevolent Entity's wish to rule over everything also conflicted with Astral's own wish to keep him suppressed. This back-and-forth conflict between contrasting desires gave birth to a new power never seen before: the power of Fantasia Code."
"And where do I come into this?"
"As a Nexus Point, you have the potential to bring balance to the multiverse.
My initial countermeasures revolved around you, a person that possesses strong feelings and admiration for the Ultra Heroes just like Astral did. Only an Ultraman would probably stand a chance to defeat the Malevolent Entity." Truth pointed at Yuta. "And like Astral, who was also a Nexus Point, you happened to be an individual capable of synchronizing your heart with the hearts of the Ultra Heroes. And like them, you could harness the power born from bonds formed with your friends.
Through your fights as Ultraman Geed, the Chaos within your soul would consume your intense feelings, saturated with the power you 'inherited' from the Ultras, in order to further evolve. From that evolution, both the Vessel of Possibility and a power strong enough to defeat the Malevolent Entity could be born..."
"The Vessel… of Possibility?" Yuta asked. "What's that?"
"As the name implies, it's the vessel specifically prepared for the task of containing the power necessary to defeat the Malevolent Entity."
"I see… Well, have I done things just as you hoped?"
"Yes, your performance was exemplary so far." Truth said. "You did require motivation and a bit of guidance from your comrades sometimes, but you managed to successfully evolve as an Ultra Hero."
"So… Is this supposed to be my destiny?"
"Destiny? Well, that's up to you." Truth smiled at this. "Ah, you humans and your morbid fascination with fate. I never could understand that thought process. In all the thousands of years I've been living, I've never once noticed the existence of what you humans call destiny. Everything was and has always been a matter of choice.
The Malevolent Entity wasn't destined to become a monster, and Astral wasn't destined to be the one to fight him. They made their own choices, and they paid the corresponding price. Even the heroes of the past were set on their path by higher powers, but it was their choice to keep walking down that path out of their own volition.
From my point of view, 'fate' has always been a scapegoat for you, humans, to blame when things do not go your way, as well as a way to absolve yourselves of responsibility for your actions."
"I make my own choices..." Yuta says softly. He could not deny the veracity behind the cosmic being's wise words.
The young Ultraman closes his eyes for a brief moment before opening them again as he takes his time to understand the important role given to him by Truth.
Not only he needs to deal with Supernatural enemies and the Knights of Chaos, but now he also needs to face a primordial being of darkness that threatens to destroy the very universe itself...
Truth paused for a few seconds before resuming his speech.
"As such, allow me to make things perfectly clear. There is no prophecy of the Chosen One that will defeat the Malevolent Entity, and neither is there any sort of assurance or guarantee that you and your comrades will be able to defeat him.
You are not an inhabitant of the new world you currently reside in so that technically doesn't oblige you to throw yourself in a battle that may cost you your very life. Even so, will you still challenge a being that can be considered the Overlord of End with such low prospects for victory?"
"Isn't that obvious?" Yuta replied without missing a beat. "There are several reasons, but I'm not giving up without a fight. Even if it seems hopeless, like you said before, as long as there is even a tiny possibility, I will move forward by betting everything on it. This is my way of life as an Ultraman."
"An obvious choice for you, but a choice nonetheless." Truth smiled. "Very well, I will send you back then. Your friends, humans and Supernatural alike, may need someone to guide them in the future, which means that you should move quickly if you wish to assist them."
"Got it." Yuta nodded. "Thanks for everything, Truth."
"There is no need to thank me." The white cosmic being said. "Go, and may the fortunes of war be with you and your friends, Oki Yuta. Ultraman Geed."
*Flash!*
Following these words, Yuta was forced to shut his eyes as an intense brightness engulfed him. Shortly afterward, he felt a tug on his back as he shot upwards and disappeared from the brightly lit space.
"Take care, Yuta. And who knows, you may even end learning someday about who you reincarnated from. Right, Astral?" Truth spoke to himself.
Ultraman GeeDxD
Capsule 48: How it all began
Kuoh Town - Early morning
New Dormitory - Hallway
Feeling a bit nervous, Sona calmly approached a specific room in order to speak with a certain black-haired Ultra Hero.
While on the pretense of just wanting to inform Yuta that Kuoh Academy's second term of the school year was about to begin, the Sitri heiress also needed to talk with him regarding a certain matter that could tie the two of them together…
"Alright." The bespectacled girl takes a deep breath before stopping at a particular door, which was simply written 'Workshop'.
The Kuoh Devils were informed that Team Geed would use a room within the dorm building to conduct experiments related to the use of their powers and usage of Chaos. Anybody else that was not part of the group of Chaos Users could not enter the room without Yuta's permission. The Ultraman placed several seals and special locks on the room due to the amount of classified data, blueprints and dangerous items amassed with their tests.
But Sona was aware that she could enter the Workshop whenever a member of Team Geed was inside of the room, which also happened to be the case now. The person she needed to talk with was currently there.
*Click!*
Upon entering the Workshop, Sona saw that the inside reminds her of a laboratory of sorts. There semmed to be many blueprints, notes, drawings and research items around the room.
And in the center of it was none other than Yuta, talking about something with Yuya, Daichi and Lux.
The other two boys came there to meet with Yuta so all three Chaos Users could exchange some Capsules amongst themselves.
Daichi traded his Ultraman Orb: Leo Zero Knuckle Ultra Capsule with Yuya's Ultraman Orb: Spacium Schtrom. Yuta suggested them doing so because they would be feeling more 'attuned' with the new Ultra Capsules in their possession, given their respective Ultra forms, than with their previous ones.
Yuya next gave his brother the Ultraman Mebius' Ultra Capsule and the Mecha Gomora Kaiju Capsule before receiving Mebius' Burning Brave Ultra Capsule in return. The older brother also made a Mebius Phoenix Brave Ultra Capsule for himself. The Ultraman Mebius: Phoenix Brave was a red and blue Ultra Capsule that would show a silver orb whenever its switch was turned on.
Curious about how his brother managed to create the two new Mebius' Ultra Capsules that were now in their possession, Yuta simply reminds Yuya that his Chaos was strong enough to create new Capsules whenever the older ravenette experienced strong emotions and deepened his bonds with his confidants.
With Lux's aid, Yuta can use the power of Chaos inside him in conjunction with certain blank Capsules to create new, stronger items for himself and his friends. This also causes the Chaos and light power within his soul to evolve and become even more powerful, which makes Yuta, as Ultraman Geed, become even stronger in return.
"I also used the essence within the Mebius Capsule to make the Ultra Capsules of his stronger forms." The older brother concludes, earning a nod from his companions. Now he has finally acquired another Ultra Capsule to use for a Fusion Rise.
'If only I also managed to either find Zoffy or Ultraman Orb: Spacium Zeperion's Ultra Capsules...' Yuta wonders.
If he managed to find either of them, he could later activate a new Fusion Rise in tandem with Mebius' Ultra Capsule.
"I also have something new to give you, Daichi." The bespectacled teenager says, turning to his brunette comrade. He then snaps his fingers.
*Click!*
At this, Lux opens himself to show one of his pages to the trio of Ultras. From it, a new Ultra Weapon comes from out of the page before ending in Daichi's hands. It semmed to be some sort of… A giant golden key?
"Huh?" Daichi looks at the item in confusion while Yuya widens his eyes after recognizing the new weapon.
"*Gasp!* Nii-san… Don't tell me… That's…!" Yuya tries to say.
"Yep. It's a replica of the Ultra Key." The older brother confirms as a blue aura appears around the golden key.
"Ultra Key?" Daichi repeats, examining the new weapon in his hands as his friends proceed to explain what it is.
The Ultra Key is a sacred item that belongs to the Ultra Brothers in the Land of Light. It is responsible for maintaining the Land of Light's orbit in Nebula M78. It resides in the Ultra Tower. Should it ever be removed, The Land of Light will fall out of orbit and will collide with the nearest planet that is on its collision course.
According to gameplay in Ultraman Fighting Evolution Rebirth, the Ultra Key itself also contains great power, being able to charge mass quantities of energy, enough to destroy an entire planet with a single blast.
"Of course, the one in your hands is merely a replica I made based on the real one. But still, it packs quite a punch." Yuta explains. It was just like how he made the Ultimate Blade's replica for Irina.
The bespectacled boy felt that he needed to give an upgrade for some of his friends, starting with Daichi. He had the feeling that their battles will get even harder from now on since he learned about the Malevolent Entity from Truth...
"Right. I will try to make good use of this, Yuta." Daichi promised his friend.
It was then that the trio of boys and the familiar noticed that someone just entered the Workshop.
"Oh, hey Sona." Yuta greets the girl while his companions nod and smile at her in accordance.
"Yuta. Can I speak with you for a moment?" The heiress gently asks while looking carefully at the young man's teammates.
Seeing no problem with this, Daichi and Yuya quickly comply with this.
"Let's go to the training room, Yuya. By the way, could you help me use the Ultra Key?" The brunette asks his kouhai.
"Sure, Daichi-san." The younger boy replies as the two began to walk away from the Workshop, both sending looks of understanding to Yuta and Sona, as Yuya closes the exit door behind him.
"Yuta, should we leave the Capsule creation for later? Although you told me that you needed to try creating a certain Kaiju Capsule as soon as possible." Lux asks his master, being the only one still present there besides the pair of bespectacled teenagers.
'Capsule creation?' Sona wonders, now feeling intrigued. She did hear how the Ultra managed to create some Capsules on his own by using his inner Chaos, but she didn't truly understand yet how he did that.
"Oh, right..." Yuta looked pensively over this before turning to Sona. "Do you mind waiting just a bit more? I have to try something else with my powers." He calmly requests the girl.
"No, of course not. I don't mind, Yuta. So, are you truly planning to create a new Capsule? Can I watch?" The Sitri Devil asks, adjusting her glasses, as she now feels curious.
"Sure." The Ultra Warrior replies to her with a small smile before summoning his Geed Riser. He takes out the Cyber Gomora and Mecha Gomora Capsules while Lux gives him the Gomora Kaiju Capsule.
[Gomora! Mecha Gomora! Cyber Gomora!] The Geed Riser activates as Yuta uses his red Ultra Gear to summon the three versions of Gomora, who now stood before their summoner.
"Lux." The human calls his Grimoire familiar as the sentient book opens himself on a page containing a sky blue magic circle of sorts that was engraved with Ultra Language's letters/symbols.
'What are those symbols?' Sona ponders, observing the unique M78 lettering.
The Ultra Language is the language that is used in the Land of Light. In Ultraman Orb, it is revealed that the language of Ultras is in common with all known universes where Ultras occur, thus leaving no barriers to communication between Ultras from different planets or universes.
Though originally a language unique to the Ultras, some species of monsters and aliens have shown the ability to decipher and recreate it for various purposes.
The Ultra Language is also present in certain Ultra Items such as Ultraman Orb's Ultra Fusion Cards, the R/B Crystals and the Ultra Medals used by Ultraman Z.
The magic circle glows as three of them suddenly manifest under the trio of Gomoras.
'A new and unique magic circle… I never saw Yuta or the other members of his team making use of something like this before. Could it be that he decided to incorporate supernatural magic into his Chaos? Would that even be possible?' Sona notes as she keeps paying attention to this 'ritual' the Ultra was about to start.
She then observes Yuta pulling out a blank Capsule from Ultra Capsule Holder, showing it to the three Kaijus before him.
"The energies of the universe swing between the forces of darkness and of light. I shall now harness the power of this eternal oscillation. Grand power that shakes my very soul, arise within me and become a new light that rends the darkness!" The young man chants as a red aura suddenly covers his body and his eyes' irises become crimson, with Ultraman Belial-like features briefly appearing over his face.
At this, the magic circles underneath the Gomoras activate as each of them starts to release energy, which ends being absorbed into the blank Capsule in Yuta's hand.
'What is this power!?' Sona thinks as the now intense energy release is also sensed by her. 'The Battle of Sargasso must have made Yuta's Chaos reach a new level...' She theorizes as Lux floats to stay next to her.
Once the ritual is over and the blank Capsule absorbed all the energy released by the trio of Gomoras, the aura around Yuta dissipates as his eyes return to normal.
Next, the magic circles under the Gomoras disappear as they all turn back into Capsules and return to Yuta's Capsule Holder.
"EX Gomora..." The Ultraman looks at the new Kaiju Capsule created through the ritual, satisfied with his work.
EX Gomora is an evolved version of Gomora. It first debuted as a video game monster in Ultraman Fighting Evolution Rebirth, under the name Remodeled Gomora as a negative-like transformation for Gomora.
However, its first television debut was in the Ultra Galaxy series, which evolved from Rei's Gomora. Several EX Gomora would appear in later media other than Rei's, the first was under the ownership of another Reionics named Alien Keel Vittorio and the other infected/brainwashed from Oozora Daichi's Gomora.
The Capsules' essence is reflected by a person's Chaos. With enough power, some 'blank Capsules' can take the form of something that whoever has them desires the most, design themselves to fit their owner's choices and keep that form forever. The Ex Gomora Kaiju Capsule fits these criteria.
"So that's how you make Capsules, Yuta? To think you can tap into your inner Chaos like this..." Sona comments as she looks intrigued at the Ex Gomora Kaiju Capsule, sensing an intense power coming from the cosmic item.
"That's not all, Sona-san… My master also needs to make use of his imagination, a Clear Mind and his Personal Reality." Lux tells the Devil girl.
"His imagination?" The Sitri heiress blinked at this. "How could that even be possible? What sort of magic does he use? It seems similar to the Devils' Demonic Power, which relies on imagination as well to work."
Demonic Power is the power used by Devils. It is the opposite of Holy Power, which is used by Angels, as well as miracles of Gods. Demonic Power, along with the miracles and magic of Gods, are the basis of all magic used by Magicians.
All Devils ranging from High-Class to Low-Class are able to use this form of power, letting them both create and control different supernatural phenomena for different forms of combat. There are some unique demonic powers that inherited among the different 72 Pillars and the Extra Demons, which no other Devils outside their respective clan are able to use.
Due to their members being married to other clans, the children born from the union of fellow pure-blood Devils can manifest the powers of one of their parents, as was the case with Venelana Gremory (née Bael); who married into the Gremory Clan, which allowed both her children; Sirzechs Lucifer and Rias Gremory, to inherit her Power of Destruction.
In order to use Demonic Power, it has been described that a Devil must first acquire the power of imagination, the power to create and good sense; however, the main prerequisite for all this is, is that it requires a certain amount of Demonic Power.
Members from Noble Devil Clans such as the 72 Pillars are born with greater Demonic Power compared to that of normal Devils to the point where it's rare for them to train in using their Demonic Power.
Most notably the relatives and descendants of the original Four Great Satans are born with Demonic Power far superior to those from the 72 Pillars.
There are rare occasions, Devils outside of the Original Satan as in the case with the current Four Great Satans have Demonic Power that equals or surpasses them. Another individual who was born with an immense amount of Demonic Power is Diehauser Belial, the current Rating Game champion, whose power is stated to be equal to the current Satans.
On far rarer occasions, there are irregular Devils born known as Super Devils, known as Transcendental Devils such as Sirzechs Lucifer and Ajuka Beelzebub, who were both born with Demonic Power far exceeding that of the Original Satan to the point of being called mutations, with their power reaching the Gods of the other mythological factions and even the Top Ten Strongest Beings in the World.
Though it is natural for Demonic Power to manifest in all Devils from birth, there are rare cases when Devil children are born unable to use their Demonic Power or are even bad at using demonic powers. This is even the case with High-Class Devils such as Sairaorg Bael, who was both born with little to no Demonic Power and lacked his clan's unique power.
Due to the pride of the upper echelon of the Underworld, High-Class Devils looks down on those who're born with low Demonic Power, including their own family members. This was most notable with Sairaorg, a pure-blood Devil from the Bael Household who was exiled by his own father in the remote regions of their territory with his mother to prevent other Devils from learning about his condition.
It is possible for a Devil's Demonic Power to be increased through constant training, but the exact method of doing so is still unknown. Outside of training, there are methods of increasing one's Demonic Power ranging from using Ophis' Snake.
Devils have a natural weakness against holy-based powers such as the light-based weapons of Angels. But Devils who have higher amounts of Demonic Power can develop resilience against holy weapons and objects.
Magic is a supernatural force utilized by the mages of various species and Magicians. It is the power born by researching about the Devil's Demonic Power which also became a power that humans can control.
All kinds of Magic are used for many purposes such as offense, defense, supporting, healing, as well as other, more practical purposes.
While there exist multiple types of magic such as Norse magic, Fairy magic and various different types of magic with different 'equations' including the magic that Gods use, it is said that the majority of magic that is used by the ordinary Magicians are those created by the great Magician; Merlin Ambrosius which involved reading the flow.
Demonic power requires the power of using your imagination and the power to create, as well as having a good sense, while magic is just knowledge to control equations, i.e. using your head and making calculations. So while they seem similar, they are very different from each other.
Magic is something where the user uses the knowledge and calculations to know, for instance; "If I do this, this will happen".
A skilled magician develops their own unique magical formula suited to them and allows them to better use magic.
Some individuals are noted to have a talent and affinity for magic. However, there also exists the possibility that a particular magic-user might lack talent in using certain magic, though there also exists the possibility that they can excel at other magic.
Lux merely chuckles at Sona's observations before proceeding to explain.
"Indeed. There seem to be some similarities as you pointed out. But it's all possible because Yuta possesses a strong imagination and uses it alongside his soul's Chaos to bring whatever he envisions, whether it be any material, being or tool originating from his imagination, into existence and literally bring his wildest ideas into reality." The familiar tells the Devil girl.
"To think his imagination alone would be strong enough to do things like this..." The Sitri heiress thinks with a concerned expression. "And what do you mean by having a Clear Mind and his Personal Reality?"
"You could say that these are two theories Yuta came up to explain why his imagination is so strong." Lux replies as he prepares to tell her about the two ideas.
A Clear Mind is an ability required to control the Chaos within one's own heart. The user's mind must be clear, psychologically speaking. They must free themselves from all negativity in their mind and heart, and must maintain focus on the belief of their own potential to exceed their limits.
Personal Reality is the term used to refer to a 'reality' created by those that become Chaos Users. As the name states, it is a type of reality that is unique for each individual and is the very foundation of a Chaos User's power, specifically, it is the source from which all Chaos powers and phenomena are brought into the real world. Simply put, it is how they each see the world.
The concept of Personal Reality is related to quantum theory. It enables the Chaos User to ignore the Uncertainty Principle, and with regards to the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment, will allow them to interfere with and 'modify' the world using different laws.
This is so the Chaos User can 'control' their observations of the world and actualize the possibility of their choosing. This is in contrast with holism, which is based on major changes in the whole "system", the macroscopic world, to create a microscopic effect, which is in this case, their powers.
The acquisition of a Personal Reality is described by some as being "cut off from proper reality and achieving one that differs from ours". On the other side, it can be described as delusions, preconceptions, or the ability to believe. Assuming this is so, one's inner Chaos will grow if they strongly believe they will.
"Is that even possible?" Sona muttered, looking in disbelief over the ideas Yuta came up with.
But now that she thought about it, it would also explain how the Ultraman manages to sometimes come up with certain powerful techniques and how he could create replicas of the Ultimate Blade and the Ultra Key as well.
'But if word of this gets out, a lot of factions will have even more interest in Yuta's powers, wanting to get a hold over him. If this goes on, they might even start targeting people close to him in order to secure some sort of control over Yuta...' Sona thinks grimly.
"So, what are you going to use this new Capsule for, Yuta?" The Devil girl asks, deciding to not think about her other matter for the moment.
"Well, I plan to give this EX Gomora Capsule to-"
*Click!*
The young man tries to answer as the Workshop's door opens and somebody enters, getting their attention.
"Hey, Yuta. Are you ready?" Fumika calls, announcing her presence. She is carrying what appears to be a picnic basket. The Kaiju Girl soon spots Yuta and Sona, realizing that the two semmed to be in the middle of an important talk. "Oh… Bad timing?" She asks the older teenagers with an apologetic expression.
Sona, on the other hand, looks at the basket the other girl is carrying and wonders if Fumika and Yuta would have a picnic date pf sorts after the Ultraman finished experimenting at the Workshop.
"Well, it seems that Sona wanted to have a word with me about something," Yuta tells his girlfriend before turning to the heiress, now expecting her to say something.
"Actually… I don't mind if Fumika stays to listen to what I want to discuss with you, Yuta. Maybe you should even call Xenovia-san as well to listen to what I'm about to say." Sona decides to suggest, looking serious at the Chaos Users.
Yuta and Fumika glance at each other before they nod in understanding.
"What is this all about, Yuta? Fumika?" Xenovia questions as the three girls and a certain boy they liked gathered at a room to discuss something Sona wished to talk with them.
"This." The Sitri Devil merely speaks.
*Flash!*
As if on cue, the entire room was filled to the brim with what seemed to be letters of all kinds of variety as the heiress used a magic circle to bring them in. Sona and others inspected every letter and then put it in a different place.
"Do you know what this is?" Sona asks them rhetorically.
"… Paperwork?" Xenovia guessed while the heiress smiled weakly.
"In a way. What you three see is addressed to Yuta." She replied.
"… All of it?" Fumika asked while the bespectacled girl nodded.
"All of it. We have got marriage proposals, meeting requests, some demands and so on and so forth..." The Devil explained.
'Not again...' Yuta groans within his mind before turning to Sona. "… Why did it come to you and not to me?"
"It's because, technically, you're still under the Three Allied Biblical Factions' jurisdiction, which means I have to take care of all the things you see in front of you." She replied.
"… How many letters are there?" The boy asked, feeling bad for the Devil girl, who had to take care of all the paperwork in his stead.
Paperwork was the bane of all existence, regardless of who had to deal with it...
"More than a thousand," Sona replied. "And we are still getting more and more of them."
"..." Fumika's eyes were twitching in annoyance. She wanted to burn all those letters.
No, scratch that.
She would give a 'piece of her mind' to all those tramps that set their eyes on her boyfriend.
"… This is bothersome." Xenovia replied, not expecting this kind of response. "… Do we have to reply to all of them?" She would lend a hand to this matter if necessary, also starting to feel the same thing Fumika felt towards women that would try to perhaps take advantage of Yuta.
"In theory, yes," Sona began. "However, that's the least worrisome thing of them all. Do you remember how I mentioned demands?"
"… What about them?" Yuta asked.
"Well, certain factions demand that you surrender yourself to them, Yuta. Some are ready to trade Sacred Gear Users for you and other artifacts, just to name a few." She replied as the humans widened their eyes in shock at this.
"Hold on… What? They can do that?" Fumika asked, baffled, while Sona sighed.
"They can try, but it doesn't mean we will listen to them." Sona replied to her kouhai.
"… Why is that even happening now?" Yuta asked.
"It's simple really. A lot of groups are now afraid of Yuta once he and Yuya became Ultraman Mebius Phoenix Brave. They are afraid that he's becoming too powerful. And him being Ultraman Belial's possible reincarnation only makes things worse." Sona began grimly.
"He's not Belial's reincarnation!" Fumika and Xenovia protested at that. Both believed with all of their hearts that the ravenette boy was a kind person that brings hope to people and not the Darkest Nightmare that could bring ruin to this world.
'Fumika… Xenovia...' Yuta was glad that his companions were still backing him up despite a lot of people now being afraid and suspicious of him. He looks to see that Sona also apparently shared the same sentiment.
"Your presence in Kuoh is dangerous for us. The odds of a hostile faction coming here unannounced are high, especially if we consider what happened so far with the Battle of Sargasso and the existence of Fantasia Code." The Devil girl tells the Chaos Users.
"… Wouldn't that make them enemies of the Allied Factions? Kuoh Town is pretty much an important place to all groups now, right?" Yuta asked while Sona nodded.
"It would, but some are willing to cross that boundary regardless." She replied. "Truth be told, I would rather not do that myself. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone tried to use any means necessary, even kidnapping those you care about."
"… I see," Yuta replied as everybody looks worried at Fumika. They begin to think about how those with ill intent could target the Kaiju Girl's parents to possibly threaten the Ultra Hero.
'Cowards...' Fumika thinks furiously.
Yuta takes out the Mebius Phoenix Brave Ultra Capsule and stares at it for a brief moment while the girls look concerned that the more power he amasses, the more people will try to come after him.
"Yuya and I acquired a new power once we connected our hearts back in Sargasso. The [Kizuna Fusion Rise] is what allowed us to become Ultraman Mebius Phoenix Brave. The other factions would target him eventually as well, won't they?" The boy asks the girls before storing the Ultra Capsule back into his Capsule Holder.
'He's more concerned about Yuya-kun rather than about his own safety?' Sona notes.
"I really don't have time to deal with these guys considering the battles I will take against the Knights of Chaos and the Malevolent Entity." The Ultraman sighs in exasperation.
"Malevolent Entity?" The girls all asked at the same time, turning to look at the Ultra Hero with a demanding look.
And so, Yuta explains to tell about his recent talk with Truth while Fumika, Xenovia and Sona began to pale over what they learn from him.
"It can't be..." The Kaiju Girl whispers, horrified.
"So you're really a reincarnated soul, Yuta?" Xenovia asks him softly.
"What is this Sea of Souls?" Sona questions, intrigued.
The young man tries his best to answer all of their doubts, managing to eventually satisfy all of the girls' curiosity.
Yuta also planned to later tell the rest of their friends about the talk he had with Truth.
Feeling that the boy she began to like just shared something very personal and sensitive with her, Sona begins to think about what she needs to confess to Yuta, Fumika and Xenovia.
She tells them about her marriage matter with the Ultra and how she is still technically considered his 'fiancé'.
This obviously earned confused looks from the humans as the Devil girl next explains to them how Serafall approached Sona after the Leviathan's meeting with Sirzechs and Zekram, telling her little sister about what discussed.
"What do you believe that is the best solution, for now, Sona-san?" Xenovia asks the Student Council President.
"Do you remember about the fact that you still earned my hand at marriage, Yuta?" Sona questions the Ultra while the other girls frown at this.
"Hold on. What is this about? I thought we left this whole engagement deal behind." Fumika looks skeptical at her senior. "And I take it you finally finished sorting out your feelings within your heart, yes? I was sure, with enough time, that you would figure it out. I know I managed it."
The three Chaos Users were aware of how Sona felt. They were just waiting for her to finally gather the courage to express how she truly felt.
"Yes, I have." Sona replies as she explains why she suddenly decided to bring the marriage topic, turning to face the one she admires. "You have done so much for me and the others, Yuta. Now it's time I return the favor." She says firmly.
"Return the favor? How?" Fumika asks with a raised eyebrow at her senpai.
"If you further consolidate your relationship with the Devils through me, some of the other factions will back off from you. My people will use their influence to protect you, your friends and the ones you care about from the others seeking your powers." The heiress explains to the humans.
"And you want to make that through a marriage?" Xenovia questions, folding her arms.
The Chaos Users could see that Sona was being genuine with what she suggested.
However...
"We talked about this before, Sona. You know what my answer is." Yuta replies before sighing.
"Yuta..." The bespectacled girl uttered.
"By all means, I have no obligation of playing along with this suggestion of yours." He reminds the girl. "Besides, I already assumed responsibility by taking care of Eric Naberius. You're free now. You can marry whoever you want, Sona."
"Am I not good enough for you?" Sona questions him, eyeing Fumika and Xenovia's busts before looking at her own chest with a downcast expression.
"H-Hey! Are you serious!?" The Kaiju Girl blushes at this, feeling a bit embarrassed, as she covers her chest while Xenovia merely tilts her head.
And Yuta also looks clearly offended at the idea.
"Oh c'mon! I'm not Issei or his friends!" The Ultraman protests with an incredulous look, joking slightly. "Plus, I told you before, didn't I? You are an amazing person, Sona."
Seeing their reactions, Sona actually manages to smile a little at them, lifting her spirit. "Yes, I suppose you're right."
"It's not like I think little of you and your ways of trying to look after me and my wellbeing. I'm grateful for that, Sona. I am really glad that you care." Yuta tells softly. "But arranged marriages just rub me wrong."
"I suppose so." The heiress feels dejected over this. "I guess this is it, huh?"
Would she ever find a boyfriend? Would she learn to love someone?
'I wonder what Rias would do in a situation like this?' The Sitri girl ponders.
As childhood friends, Rias and Sona have a great deal of respect for each other, as well as a friendly rivalry. Sona cares for Rias a great deal and wishes the best for Rias. After Rias told Sona about Issei confessing to her, now Sona wishes to have a boyfriend.
Sona became observant of Issei upon hearing that his revival cost eight Pawn pieces. During Rias' first Rating Game against Riser, she was quick to be disturbed by Issei's Dress Break.
But later on, Sona has grown to admire and respect Issei very much and is also jealous at the same time because Issei relieved Rias of many of the problems that Rias had but she could not do anything for her because of her position as a High-Class Devil and her family's rank in the upper society of Devils.
She cares a great deal for Rias as her friend and wishes for Issei to give her strong support because she is stubborn and willful but at the same time delicate.
And now, after seeing how strong Yuta, Fumika and Xenovia's feelings are for each other, the Sitri heiress also began to long for the same feeling...
"Not really." The Ultra rebutted Sona's question, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Eh?" She looks confused at this.
"Yeah, I'm against the arranged marriage deal that the Pure Blood Devils seem to follow. But that doesn't mean we can't get closer, Sona." Yuta tells the Devil girl with a small smile, gently grabbing her hands. "I would still like to know more about you, Sona. To get closer to you and deepen the bond that already exists between us."
"Yuta..." The Sitri heiress blushes at the warmth that is being emitted by the young man before her. He accepted her for the way she is.
As they look into each other's eyes, Yuta and Sona can somehow feel their connection growing stronger. He really likes her for the way she is, just like how he told her before.
Fumika and Xenovia just smiled in understanding at the scene before them. The former is still struggling a bit to adjust to the harem idea, but she approves the older girl just as she did with the bluenette beside her.
Outside of the room, Saji has been listening to the quartet's talk for sometime before he decides to walk away with a broken heart…
His [King] has been 'taken away' by the person he began to despise the most…
'Oki took Kaichou from me… Unforgivable!' The [Pawn] growled inwardly as a dark aura briefly envelops his body. And the purple dragon Capsule in his possession resonates with the hatred inside of the blonde's heart.
Sona was happy that she managed to later confess her feeling to Yuta. A heavy burden finally leaving her chest despite the young man refusing the arranged marriage proposal. The Ultra wanted to first date her and deepen the bond that connects the two of them, just like how he did with Fumika and Xenovia.
"Well then, I will tell my sister about what you told us earlier, Yuta." Sona tells the Ultra Hero. "The Maous and the other factions' leaders will be the only ones aware of the Malevolent Entity thought. Everybody else probably won't."
"What? Why?" Xenovia questions her. Shouldn't every single person be alerted about this new menace?
"It's not that simple, Xenovia. The existence of the Malevolent Entity will cause panic amongst people." Fumika explains to her friend. "There's also the problem regarding the possible reveal of the Mythrian Capsules, that act as a seal for this being."
If the Malevolent Entity was revealed, the Mythrian Capsules' existence could also be revealed to the rest of the world…
"And there's no doubt that there will be foolish and greedy people eventually starting to search for these items just for the sake of acquiring more power for themselves. And I myself will also have to look for them as well later." Yuta adds as the girls look alarmed over this.
"Why? If these Capsules are a seal, shouldn't we leave them be?" Xenovia inquiries.
"It's because Yuta probably needs them as well in order to acquire Fantasia Code." Sona deduces, earning a nod from the young man. "Besides, other groups like the Knights of Chaos or the Malevolent Entity's minions would also try to obtain the Mythrian Capsules, regardless of the consequences this action may bring later, right? In that case, it would be better if these Capsules just end in Team Geed's possession then."
"Precisely." Yuta agrees with the Devil girl's reasoning.
"There's one thing I still want to know." Fumika speaks, getting the others' attention. "Yuta, what exactly is the Malevolent Entity's name?"
The Ultra Hero adopts a serious expression at the question before proceeding to answer it:
"He is the Overlord of The End… His name is..."
