It's been four months since Amity and Luz got married and only three weeks since Amity took the Pregnancy Potion. It was currently the hot season in the Boling Isles and it was definitely living up to the Boiling part of its name. It isn't uncommon for a lot of people to wear very little clothes while sleeping, or in Boscha, Amity, and Luz's case, nothing at all. The throuple only had a thin blanket over them. Luz was spooning Amity and had her back facing Boscha. It was the first time Boscha got a very clear view of Luz's back. Boscha looked over the multiple scars Luz had and ran a finger over one.

"Like what you see?" Luz said.

Boscha took her finger off of Luz's back in surprise.

"I-I-I thought you were asleep." Boscha said.

Luz let go of Amity and turned over to face Boscha.

"Boscha-"

"How many of those scars were I responsible for?"

"You were in a war. You listened to your leader. You did nothing wrong."

"How man." She said, not asked.

"... Twelve."

"I'm such a horrible person." Boscha said.

Luz put her arm on Boscha's lower back and pulled her close enough for their noses to touch. Luz used her other hand and cupped Boscha face.

"You aren't a horrible person. You were just following orders."

Boscha brought her hands up to Luz's face and cupped her cheeks. She ran a thumb over the scar she gave Luz.

"But I did this. I left this horrible thing on your face. I left a horrible reminder of what I've done. I did it with glee, too."

Luz placed her lips against Boscha's. Luz backed out of the kiss and looked at Boscha. She grabbed Boscha's hand and placed it against her back.

"Boscha, if you really find joy in hurting people, then would you hurt me right now?"

"What? Of course, not." Boscha said.

"Boscha, I made a lot of mistakes over the past, almost, seven years. I still have nightmares about the mistakes I've made or the lives I've taken." Luz said, "I... enjoyed killing. Does that make me a bad person?"

"N-n-no. You did what you had too."

"Then how is that any different than what you did?" Luz asked.

Boscha couldn't answer. Luz pulled her into another short kiss and Boscha smiled.

"I love you." Boscha said.

"I love you, too." Luz said.

Boscha rest her head against Luz's chest and closed her eyes. Luz wrapped her arms around Boscha and closed her eyes, as well. After the small problem was solved, the night was peaceful once again.

"I'm pregnant."

Five eyes opened and the two of them sat up. They looked at Amity as she just smiled.
