As she travels to a larger part of the world she finds out this new Avatar has suffered a tragedy and lost his faith in humanity. Can she repair the damage and help him save humanity? Chapter 49 Family War

Korra smiled as she put Katara down in her crib as she slept peacefully making her smile as she kissed her forehead making her yawn in her sleep.

"You ok?" Sean asked.

"Yeah...I'll fine. But where are we gonna put them? I don't like the idea of sending them halfway across the world incase Vlad tries something like when we went to stop Kuvira." Korra said. Granted it worked out fine since Diana stripped him of all his former powers until the Dark Master gave him his own.

"We'll place them on Air Temple island. I already have a spell that will protect them from intruders." Sean said kissing her making her moan. "I promise everything is gonna be just fine." Sean said holding her close making her sigh.

"I hope so." Korra said.

Later they went to Air Temple island before they noticed Tenzin looking around in concern.

"Tenzin? Whats the matter?" Korra asked.

"Have any of you seen Jinora? Pemma and I haven't seen her since last night." Tenzin said concerned.

"No...Come to think of it I don't think we've seen Turok in that time either." Sean said.

"Yo!" Will said rushing to them. "You guys seen Turok? I can't find him and Dad needs to talk to him." Will said.

"Nope. Why don't we go look for them. Sure the love birds are in the city somewhere." Sean said as the three left.

Sean and Will walked through the city using a tracking device.

"You sure that thing is working?" Will asked as they were outside a hotel.

"It says he's in here." Sean said before they went to the owner asking if he was here.

"I believe he requested our best room last night with a young lady."

Sean and Will looked at each other.

"Which room?" Sean asked.

"Room 12."

Coming outside the room Sean suddenly stopped.

"Wait." Sean said pressing his ear against the door before he heard Jinora moaning loudly along with the sounds of something hitting the wall making him widen his eyes before his mouth hung open.

"No way." Will said chuckling silently.

"The little fucker is getting laid with Tenzin's 16 year old daughter." Sean said before they heard Jinora scream in bliss making them snicker.

"You want to screw with them?" Will asked making him snicker before banging on the door.

"FBI OPEN UP!" Sean yelled kicking down the door making Jinora scream as she covered herself with a blanket.

"Oh you fuckers!" Turok yelled pissed off doing the same.

"The Fucking FBI Line?" Will asked.

"Oh my good lord!" Sean yelled laughing his ass off as did Will.

"Nice going little brother. Your finally a man!" Will yelled laughing like crazy.

"So...I'm gonna make the assumption that knowing another war is on the horizon that you two made love to one another!" Sean laughed.

"GET OUT!" Turok yelled throwing a pillow at them.

"Oh relax. We knew eventually this was gonna happen." Will said.

"Whats going on?" Korra asked as she arrived before seeing the two. "OH MY GOD!" Korra yelled before she giggled as she held her mouth.

"Sure just bring more in you fucking cocksuckers." Turok said as Jinora held her face in embarrassment.

"Guys PLEASE don't tell my dad about this. He'll lose it." Jinora begged making Sean and Will look at each other before grinning as did Korra.

"Well...Theres one way we won't say anything." Will said grinning making them uneasy.

"And whats that?" Turok asked.

"Simple. You propose to her when this family war is over." Sean said making them blink before looking at each other before grinning.

"We're ok with that." Jinora said.

"Good. Now let's leave the soon to be married couple alone boys." Korra said dragging them out as Sean used his magic to repair the door.

"That was annoying." Turok said.

"True. Now...Where were we? Oh yeah." Jinora said pulling him into a kiss before moaning loudly.

Sean and Will couldn't stop laughing as they were outside the hotel.

"I did not see that coming." Sean said making Korra giggle.

"Lucky theres only a three year gap between them." Korra said.

"True. I still can't believe we actually caught them in that moment. It was like Will and his second girlfriend all over again." Sean said making him glare.

"Oh do go on I'm very interested to hear this." Korra said.

"Don't you fucking dare." Will said.

"We noticed Will was missing 4 years before we met and..." Sean tried to say before Will tried to slug him making Sean run off.

"GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!" Will yelled.

"We caught them in a love hotel and Mom flipped!" Sean yelled making him roar while Korra giggled.

"Their definitely brothers even if it's not a blood relationship." Korra said laughing.

Later

Sean was on the beach of Air temple island looking at the stars.

"Figured I'd find you here." Korra said walking to him.

"Do you remember when I first moved to Republic City?" Sean asked making her giggle.

"Yeah...Those were simpler days just fighting Amon's minions before Cinder showed up. I still can't believe we're fighting her own son. It's like we're right back where we started." Korra said.

"Hmm." Sean said.

"So what are you gonna do when you face him?" Korra asked.

"Whatever I have to. A part of me wants to save him from himself...But I know if push comes to shove I will do whatever I need to do if it saves the kids. I lost one family already by his mother's hands when she became corrupted. I will not lose my new one by his hands." Sean said as she held him close.

"I promise I'll be right beside you to help." Korra said making him nod before Junior and Diana jumped on them making them laugh as they held them close while David with Katara in hand holding his wife close watched the stars.

Days Later

The armies of the world were assembled in Republic City ready to fight Vlad and his mixed army of those who were fought in the past and Ariac's machine army.

Even The Jaegers were all assembled and fully upgraded along with The Mecha tanks Hiroshi made years ago. And all the civilians were evacuated by Drop ship to safety away from the city.

Members the Task force would be leading the joint army in the war.

Right now the Leaders were on Air Temple island.

"And this is the best spot we can work at?" Lyon asked.

"It's our best option." Irons said.

"There's something we need to discuss with you." Korra said as She, Sean, Asami, Mako and Bolin walked in.

"What is it?" Tenzin asked.

"The Five of us have been talking and we want to take out Vlad's Spirit weapon before it gets too close to the city." Korra said.

"That sounds like a risk we don't need to take. The entire city has been evacuated and General Iroh is getting the troops in place." Tenzin said.

"I know Iroh can go toe to toe with Vlad's army, But that weapon..." Korra tried to say.

"It's too powerful! It can destroy the city!" Bolin said.

"We can't let it get to our doorstep." Mako said.

"We'll sneak behind enemy lines and destroy the damn thing. With it out of the way the war will be more in our favor." Sean said.

"But if you get caught..." Tenzin tried to say.

"It's worth the Risk." Korra said.

"I agree. Get going." Irons said as they left.

Later

Oogi flew the group to where Vlad was last seen while Bolin was on the look out.

"So how are we gonna destroy that super weapon?" Asami asked.

"However we can. We can't let it get near the City." Korra said.

"Uh guys? We might have a problem." Bolin said alarmed looking down seeing Vlad's army heading right for Republic City.

"What the fuck? They're a week early." Sean said.

"This doesn't make sense. There aren't any tracks to transport that weapon. How are they carrying it?" Mako asked before they heard giant thuds making them widen their eyes seeing a giant Machine that had advanced weapons on it including the chest. (Picture the Iron Giant in weapons mode)

"Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me. Thats why Vlad stripped the domes in Zaofu!" Sean yelled.

"They used them to make a giant robot. And look!" Asami said seeing the cannon on the right arm.

"Did you know Kuvira was building that thing when she was alive?" Mako asked Bolin.

"Oh, Did I forget to mention that? NO! Of course I didn't know!" Bolin yelled. (Even he couldn't forget something like that)

"I don't think this has anything to do with her. I think Vlad had Baatar make this thing. Thats why he had the domes stripped back at Zaofu. He needed the metal to make it." Sean said glaring at it.

"How the hell are we supposed to take something like that down?" Korra asked.

"Not just that. Look." Asami said seeing dozens of their own Jaegers that looked exactly like the one North Korea made when they invaded Soul 5 years ago. (Obsidian Fury incase people forgot)

Vlad was in the head of his personal machine sitting on a chair.

"There's a flying bison up ahead." One of her Techs said making him glare.

"Little cousin. Why don't I demonstrate my true power.." Vlad said before touching a screen which moved the arm to aim at them before it powered up.

"LOOK OUT!" Sean yelled as they evaded as he fired at them.

"We're leaving now." Korra said as they left.

"Should we go after them? They're going to warn Republic city." Baatar said on the comms.

"Why bother? No one can stop us now. Today...I have my revenge." Vlad said glaring.

Later

Oogi landed back on Air temple island.

"Why are you back so soon? Theres no way you took them down that fast." Lyon said.

"We didn't get the chance. Vlad's army is hours away. He probably accelerated his plans when Zhu Li came back." Sean said.

"And even worse the weapon is on a giant robot thats full of weapons. The damn thing has to be at least 25 stories tall." Korra said.

"You gotta be kidding me. How the hell did they make something like that?" Reznov asked.

"The Domes of Zaofu which is why he invaded to begin with. Hell everything inside is probably platinum." Sean said

"Get General Iroh on the line and tell him the attack is happening today." Irons said to Lin who nods before rushing off.

"We better get ready." Sean said to Korra who nods.

Soon Sean and Korra were on the front lines waiting for Vlad.

Thats when Korra held his hand making him smile.

"It's gonna be ok." Sean said.

"I know." Korra said before the ground began to shake.

Thats when they saw Vlad's army with his giant Robot leading them.

"Whoa." Mason said.

"So thats why they invaded the place." Woods said loading his gun.

Soon enough both armies stood in front of one another.

Irons quickly used the comms to contact Vlad.

"Vlad...Let's not escalate this. Turn yourself in and we can make a deal." Irons said.

"You expect me to listen to the man who adopted my little cousin but left me with nothing?" Vlad asked.

"I am sorry about what happened to you. But you are taking this too far." Irons said.

"No...Not yet. Not until after I take away everything he loves." Vlad said before aiming at Air temple island.

"Oh no you don't!" Sean yelled turning into Exodia before punching him away.

"FIRE!" Davis yelled as the tanks fired everything they had.

Sean and Vlad fought each other with the power they both had.

Korra roared as she unleashed a storm of wind on several former Equalists making them fly into the air before slamming her foot down creating a wave of Earth that sent a large number of Red Lotus members back.

Woods and Mason fired on several Equalist.

"Bring back old memories doesn't it?" Woods asked.

"Stop screwing around and just shoot them." Hudson said firing on some Red Lotus members.

Stryker fought against Vlad's Jaegers before opening the chest. up and fired several missiles at one making it blow up.

Sean roared as he turned into Zilla and jumped on Vlad who roared in annoyance.

"GET OFF!" Vlad roared as he tried to get him off before three blasted appeared and blasted him off making Sean roar as he was thrown off before turning into Obelisk and roared before punching him away.

"You will not win." Sean said in a deep voice making Vlad roar before charging the weapon as Sean turned into Godzilla before his spikes began to glow before both fired at each other creating a wave of power that forced both armies back.

"WHOA!" Korra yelled as she landed on her back while Vlad was on his back as Sean turned human.

"Ow what the fuck?" Sean asked.

"We need to pull back and take this fight into the city. We're too exposed out here." Rorke said.

"Give the order." Sean said to Davis who nods before they pulled back.

"AFTER THEM!" Vlad roared getting his army to do so.

Sean and the others met up with the others in Asami's factory.

"So far the battle is evenly matched as long as that thing focuses on us and not the armies. But once Vlad gets it back up and running it'll make things difficult. The amount of power it has is just as dangerous as when Miraak and Vaatu were combined." Sean said.

"Maybe we can't fight it but at least cripple it." Ethan said.

"Thats not a bad idea." Foley said.

"Zhu Li, when you were spying on Vlad, did you learn anything about that metal monster?" Asami asked.

"I had no idea they were even making something like that. Though I guess it does explain why Vlad stripped the domes back in Zaofu." Zhu Li said.

"Guess Baatar Jr. Is a better inventor than I thought. Don't tell him I said that." Varrick said annoyed.

"Fucking shut up." Sean said annoyed.

"Wait thats it." Korra said getting his attention. "Baatar Jr Built it He'll know how to take it down." Korra said.

"I think I'm starting to rub off on you." Sean said making her grin.

"I say we capture him and make him talk." Korra said.

"Oh my pleasure." Gideon said.

"Will, Mitchell, Gideon and Joker I want you four to capture him and bring him back." Sean said.

"No problem." Will said as they left.

Later

Woods and Mason threw Baatar on the ground hard making him grunt as he glared at everyone while Rorke and Ajax aimed at him.

"You all have made one huge mistake. Once Vlad knows I'm gone your all done for that I can assure you." Baatar said before grunting as Woods kicked him.

"Fucking save it shit stain." Woods said.

"You are gonna tell us how to destroy that thing like or not. And your gonna tell us now." Sean said.

"Or what?" Baatar mocked before yelling in pain as Woods stabbed him in the shoulder before Adler took a drag from his cigarette.

"Clearly you don't realize something. This Task force never fails when we need to break someone." Adler said before shoving it in his face making him scream in pain.

"Sean...This is a little over the line." Korra said disturbed.

"I don't like it either but in war you need to do whatever it takes to win. Even if it means cruelty to your enemies." Sean said.

"Wait." Suyin said stopping them. "Let me try." Suyin said.

"You got five minutes." Hudson said.

"If you think I'm going to spill all my secrets to you, mother, you're sadly mistaken." Baatar said.

"Why are you doing this? I know you don't believe in what Vlad's doing. So why are you really helping him?" Suyin asked.

"Because of him!" Baatar yelled glaring at Sean who scoffed. "You killed Kuvira. The woman I loved. I'll help Vlad in any way I can for what you took from me." Baatar said making Sean laugh which set him off. "WHATS SO FUNNY!" Baatar yelled.

"You seriously think she loved you? Dude you really are a tool. She never loved you at all. And to prove my point." Sean said using his magic to pull something Baatar knew all too well. Kuvira's journal. "You'll want to read the last couple pages." Sean said tossing it to him making him frown before he read it.

When he got done his hands were shaking.

"No...This...You're lying. This is a fake." Baatar said denying what he read.

"Thats her hand writing. Every word in there is her's. She was using you from the moment you two left. Her intentions may have been true at first but over time she let all that power and authority go to her head. Which is exactly why your mother didn't take control when offered since she was afraid that would happen. Kuvira became power hungry and became a tyrant and used you. And now you're working for a man who's working for someone a hundred times worse than Kuvira, Zaheer and his Red Lotus, Dragovich, Unalaq and Amon combined." Sean said making him hold his face as he sobbed while Suyin held him.

"Ouch." Woods said.

"Thats gotta hurt." Joker said.

"Knowing the woman you loved who you thought loved you back was just using you since day one and pretended to be happy about being engaged? Yeah that would make anyone break." Hudson said.

"I don't believe this." Baatar said.

"I'm sorry Baatar. When you would come back we wanted to break it to you gently but...You needed to hear this. Kuvira may have had good intentions at first...But she let all that power go to her head. Thats why I didn't accept Irons' offer when he made it 4 years ago. I knew this might happen to me." Suyin said.

"I almost destroyed my home because I believed in her. And Now I did all this for nothing." Baatar said.

"You can make it up to us by helping us stop Vlad before the Dark Master comes back." Sean said.

"I know about this Dark Master and saw Vlad communicating with him before hand right before we came here. Even though at the time I wanted revenge his presence...It was more frightening than anything I ever felt. It was like looking into the face of death itself." Baatar said.

"For good reason. Everything bad thats ever happened in the world is because of him. Cinder and my uncles. Miraak and so many others were poisoned by him. Because he's the Dark Avatar of Darkness, Evil, Corruption and Destruction." Sean said.

"Theres more to it than that isn't there." Baatar said.

"Alduin...The Dark Master is my Great Grandfather's Twin brother." Sean said shocking him. "My Great Grandfather is responsible for the path he took. Because he did not forgive his family for the neglect they unintentionally gave him. But never mind that now. We need to stop Vlad before he releases him." Sean said.

"Uh guys!" Mako said looking outside seeing the Robot finally getting up before aiming at them. "I don't know how but Vlad knows we're here." Mako said.

"No! He wouldn't!" Baatar tried to say.

"OUT!" Sean yelled as they ran out as Vlad fired his cannon right at them making the factory explode.

Inside the Giant Robot Vlad smiled before looking behind him seeing a dark cloud inside.

"You did well. In years to come you will make a perfect apprentice." The Dark Master said said before vanishing.

"I'm not interested in that. Just Revenge." Vlad said.

Back at the factory the rubble start to move before Bolin used his earth bending.

"OUT! OUT!" Sean yelled as they rushed out.

"Go ahead take your time just bending a giant wall!" Bolin said before they all got out.

Tenzin flew to a building before seeing Vlad's Giant Robot and his robots coming towards them making him widen his eyes before flying away and landed next to the others.

"Vlad's heading our way with his machines." Tenzin said.

"What are we gonna do?" Asami asked.

"This is my hometown, and I hate to say it, but theres no use risking all our lives to fight that giant thing. Let him take the city for now. We'll regroup and find a way to beat him and take the city back." Bolin said.

"We can't our armies are spread all over the place. See?" Turok said seeing several troops firing at Vlad's army as Tanks fired on his Jaegers.

"I can take down Vlad with the blade of Life if I can get through the metal on that thing." Sean said taking said blade out.

"As long as Vlad has that weapon the entire world isn't safe. And as long as he's taking orders from the Dark Master it will only get worse. We need to take them out now." Korra said.

"On that we all agree." Shepherd said with Lin next to him.

"We need to find a way inside and destroy that thing." Lin said.

"Well, you people are gonna have to fight him alone. Vlad just blew up our factory with all our hummingbird suits." Varrick said.

"Not all of them. There are the prototypes back at my office. If we can get those ready to fly, we'll at least be able to offer a little air support." Asami said.

"Su, you take Baatar Jr. And the rest of the wounded back to Asami's office. Get those suits working as soon as you can. The rest of us will help the troops out as best we can." Korra said.

"We'll first level the playing field. Right now lets focus on taking down as much of Vlad's forces as we can. The more troops available means the more fire power we'll have to take down that giant." Sean said.

"Right. Let's move." Sandman said.

A group of marines were pinned down by The Red Lotus before Sean and Korra arrived before the later started metal bending the bullets on the ground before merging them together to restrain them.

Sean roared as he slashed his sword down before creating a wave of power that hit the Red Lotus that made them scream as their bodies decayed.

"Whoa. How did..." Korra tried to ask.

"Even Decay represents life. The blade draws its power from everything that represents life just like I do with the Primordial." Sean said before more showed up making Korra yell as she actually started lava bending making them scatter while Sean looked at her.

"Hey I said I was training my ass off while you were dead. I wasn't gonna let someone show up and threaten Junior and Diana." Korra said grinning making him smile.

"Now I see why the Chronicler never warned us. It gave you a purpose to become even stronger." Sean said making her smile.

Hudson and his team led a charge against some Equalists who had a group of Commandos pinned down.

"It's just like old times." Woods said before they started dropping bombs from above. "YUP! Just like six years ago!" Woods yelled jumping out of the way.

"I'm not gonna argue with that one." Hudson said as he and Adler shot at them up top.

Reznov and Kalder used lighting on the robots making them explode before one of Vlad's Jaegers appeared only for Noah to blast it in the chest making it explode as it fell backwards.

"HAHAHA! Thats more like it." Reznov said.

Rorke and his team rushed to a group of Iroh's men who were pinned down by Ultranationalists before they fired on them.

"Lay down cover fire!" Rorke yelled as Iroh's men used their bending to lay down support before a large laser destroyed a few buildings making them look seeing Vlad's robot attacking everything in sight.

Gideon and his team found a group of tanks firing on some robots.

"Take them out!" Gideon yelled as they fired at the robots before heavy gun fire was heard from above and destroyed them.

"Gunships!" Joker yelled seeing them above.

"Lay down targets so we can lend support."

"Roger that." Gideon said as they rushed off.

Griggs and his marines arrived seeing a group of Water Benders pinned down before they laid down cover fire before they took the offensive.

"We're finding small groups all over the place." Griggs said on comms.

"I figured as much. The more we have the better our chances of taking that thing down are." Sean said.

Price and his men moved to give support to a group of Heavy Exo Suits who were pinned down.

"Target acquired." Gunship Pilot said before heavy fire came down on Vlad's army.

"I think this is all we can get at the moment." Gaz said.

"I'll take what I can get." Sean said.

Vlad continued to move through the city before he saw airtemple island before his eyes glowed.

"So thats where the little brats are. I still owe you for taking away my powers little girl." Vlad said about to power his weapon up only for Sean in his Godzilla form to push him back making him growl.

"You will not harm my children!" Sean roared before pushing him farther into the city to get the island out of his line of sight.

"FIRE!" Price yelled as the tanks and gunships fired on Vlad making him roar in rage as he powered up the other weapons before firing at them making the men yell as they scattered away.

Sean turned into Exodia before punching him away making Vlad roar before blasting him with regular weapons but he just shrugged it off as as he grabbed him.

"Vlad! You need to stop this now! People are dying because of you!" Sean yelled.

"NO! BECAUSE OF YOU!" Vlad yelled as the chest powered up before blasting Sean back making him roar in pain as he stepped back holding his bleeding chest before roaring loudly as he turned into Obelisk before punching him away.

Korra yelled as she and Suyin used metal bending to pull down buildings on Vlad's army to prevent them from aiding him before she and Bolin used Lava bending on Vlad's Robot making him roar in anger.

"I will not be stopped! I'll make you all suffer as I have suffered." Vlad yelled as Sean punched him back hard.

"Vlad this has gone on long enough!" Sean yelled before turning into Godzilla as his spikes started to glow before blasting him with blue fire making him roar as he fell backwards.

"It's over Vlad! End this!" Korra yelled making him growl before he spotted the island.

"Not yet." Vlad said aiming at the island making her eyes widen in horror.

"NO!" Korra screamed before Sean blocked his view as his spikes glowed before both blasted each other but the beam was stronger then before and blew Sean's attack back before hitting him in the chest making him roar in agonizing pain before exploding.

"No." Korra said widening her eyes before Sean landed on the ground hard making him groan in pain making her rush to him.

"Ok that sucked." Sean said as she helped him up while Vlad was heaving difficulty controlling his robot. "We need to pull back. Now!" Sean said as she helped him up while the others pulled back.

Meanwhile

Varrick, Asami and Zhu Li were at Asami's office trying to get the last two suits working.

"All right. Let's fire it up again." Varrick said as they tried to fly it and it did take off before going crazy.

"I can't stabilize it. I thought you fixed the Hydraulics." Asami said flying off.

"I did! Twist harder!" Varrick yelled.

"OH FUCK!" Asami yelled as they crashed. "Well, that didn't work." Asami said before an Marin rushed in.

"We have robots on their way here."

"I know how to take down some robots, And it just might take down that Giant, too! Asami, disconnect anything electrical in here until we get back. Zhu Li, let's go." Varrick said as the two rushed off.

Meanwhile

Sean yelled as he slashed through several machines to stop them from advancing.

"More robots!" Turok yelled as more showed up only to fall over. "Huh?" Turok asked.

"I think they lost power. Varrick. Ok I take it back. He may be a royal annoying bastard but he's good when he's on our side." Sean said impressed before seeing Vlad was still moving. "Ah damnit. Lets head back and plan our next move." Sean said

Making it back to Asami's office they confronted Varrick.

"Varrick, how come your electro-thingy shut down the small robots but not the big one?" Bolin asked.

"Its called an EMP an..." Varrick tried to say.

"Electro magnetic pulse. We know. Thats existed for years" Sean said.

"Oh." Varrick said disappointed someone beat him too it...Again

"Because it's powered with spirit vine energy. I'm sorry. I wish I could help you, but it's unstoppable. Vlad called it the Destroyer for a reason." Baatar said.

"It's not."

Everyone turned and saw Hiroshi who looked older than the last time they saw him 6 years ago. Reznov quickly drew his gun.

"Hold on a second Reznov." Makrov said stopping him.

"Dad?" Asami asked surprised to see him.

"I got him out of jail to help. I figured we need all the geniuses we can get our hands on right now. If the prison's still standing after all this is over, we can throw him back in." Lin said.

"I know what you all must think of me, But I love Republic city, And I would do anything to save her." Hiroshi said.

"Oh yeah sure thats funny coming from the guy who worked for Vlad's mother six years ago and mocked us for giving up on humanity because of her not knowing she was the reason for that at the time." Reznov said glaring at him making him hold his head down in shame.

"Enough! Remember what the Chronicler said. Everyone deserves a second chance. Even him." Sean said.

"Thank you." Hiroshi said thankful.

"You think you know how to defeat this thing?" Korra asked.

"You must act like an Infection: Break the skin and attack the vital organs. Disconnect the heart and the brain, and this beast cannot live." Hiroshi said.

"But how are we supposed to get inside?" Korra asked.

"The damn thing is made of Platinum so we can't bend or cut through so easily." Sean said.

"Future industries has plasma saws for cutting platinum. If we had one on the Mecha-Suit..." Hiroshi tried to say.

"But the saws are way too big. We'd never get the suits off the ground." Asami said.

"I think I can add an electrical element to the wilding torch on your suit and convert it into a plasma saw. Then we'll just have to land on the giant and cut open a hole big enough for someone to get in." Hiroshi said.

"Like a Metal mosquito." Asami said.

"You know what happens when a Mosquito lands on me? I squash them." Varrick said.

"We'll have to attack in a swarm to try to keep you guys safe in the hummingbird suits. It looks like they're our only hope." Korra said as Sean sat down to recover. "Are you ok?" Korra asked worried.

"Yeah...Just give me a minute to recover." Sean said closing his eyes.

Thats when he found himself in the plains he saw his father when he tried to kill himself six years ago.

"What am I doing here?" Sean asked.

"Just to talk."

Sean turned and was surprised to see Cinder.

"Cinder?" Sean asked making her smile.

"It's good to see you again as my old self. I am truly so sorry for all the pain I brought all of you for 15 years." Cinder said.

"I know...It wasn't your fault. We know it was the Dark Master who did all that." Sean said making her nod before he looked down.

"Your troubled." Cinder said.

"It's...Vlad. He's..." Sean tried to say.

"Trying to destroy the City. I know. Everything thats happened to him is my fault. My actions caused everyone to hate him for something he never even did." Cinder said.

"I just...Want to help him. Despite everything he tried to do when I came back to life. All the death thats his doing...And the war he's started...He's still my cousin. He's still family to me. And I want to save him from himself." Sean said making her smile sadly.

"Sean. I know you care about Family more than anything in this world. It's one of your good qualities as a human being. But in this case...I don't think you can save him. The best thing you can do is...Put him to rest." Cinder said shocking him.

"How can you say that? He's your son." Sean said.

"I know. And I hate even thinking this. But my son is in great pain both physical and emotional. Putting him down would be the most humane thing you can do. I know you want to save him from himself and stop the Dark Master. But you can't save them all. Sometimes you have to accept there are certain things you can't do. Even as an Avatar of Old. The sooner you accept this...The sooner you'll realize what needs to be done to save the world." Cinder said making him sigh as they vanished.

Sean opened his eyes before sighing.

"You ok?" Korra asked.

"No...I just had a little talk with Cinder as her old Self. Why is it I'm the only one who wants to Save Vlad from himself and everyone else wants me to put him down?" Sean asked making her frown.

"Sean...I know he's still family to you but you have to look at the facts. He tried to kill Junior and Diana when you came back from the Dead. Twice actually and might have if Diana didn't take away his powers. Destroyed Ba Sin Se and everyone there. Tried to harvest Jinora and others life energy to make the spirit vines more powerful and would have killed Zhu Li for sabotaging the spirit weapon. You have to realize he's beyond hope at this point." Korra said.

"But what if he's not? What if...Theres still a chance he can be saved?" Sean asked.

"He can't. We need to focus on stopping him by any means. He tried to kill the kids again just to get to you. That alone should tell you how far he's gone." Korra said making him sigh.

"I guess." Sean said before she kissed him.

"I promise it's gonna be ok." Korra said.

"The Destroyer is on its way here." Griggs said making Sean sigh as he stood up.

"Ok...I'll distract him long enough for Asami and the others to upgrade those Mechs." Sean said.

"Your still injured though." Korra said worried.

"I've been injured before in battle. This is no different. We can't hold anything back." Sean said as he held her face. "Your not losing me a second time." Sean said making her sigh.

Vlad made his way towards Future industries tower when he got punched back.

"WHAT!" Vlad roared before Sean in his Obelisk form punched him back hard making him growl in rage as he tried to blast him with the spirit weapon but he dodged making it hit Raiko's former home.

"Even in the Void that prick suffers here." Sean said before punching Vlad back again making him roar before Sean turned human.

"You want me! Come and get me Vlad!" Sean yelled using air bending to fly away as Vlad followed.

Korra and the others waited for Sean to bring Vlad.

"Come on Sean." Korra said before he appeared with Vlad in tow before he nearly blasted him.

"YIKES!" Sean yelled hitting a wall. "Ok that sucked." Sean said before Vlad aimed the spirit weapon at him and fired only for Sean to pull out his sword and blocked it easily.

"Whoa." Korra said surprised.

"AHHH! I'm tired of you getting everything handed down to so easily!" Vlad roared.

"One question before we continue." Sean said.

"WHAT!" Vlad roared.

"How does it feel to have a building fall on you?" Sean asked amused.

"What?" Vlad asked confused before turning and widened his eyes as Korra and the others used earth bending to top the tallest building on top of him making it crash down on top of him.

"HAHAHAHA! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!" Sean yelled before the Rubble blew up as Vlad came out and roared in rage.

"INSECTS!" Vlad roared before blasting everywhere as people dodged.

"Oh boy he's pissed." Korra said.

Thats when the Varrick, Zhu Li, Hiroshi and Asami flew in using the only two Mecha Suits.

"Keep him busy." Sean said wrapping a chain around one of the arms making Vlad growl in rage.

"Aim for that spot in the middle of the back, the one I can never reach." Varrick said.

"Got it." Zhu Li said landing on the back before strapping down about to cut in only for the hand to come at them.

"Whaa! Let's get out of here." Varrick said as they flew off. "Wish I had that kind of flexibility." Varrick said.

"This isn't gonna work as long as Vlad keeps moving like this. We need to keep him still." Korra said before Sean looked behind them seeing a large supply of water making him grin.

"Your up honey." Sean said making her grin before rushing to it.

Korra used her water bending to make a large wave of water wash up on the giant before freezing Vlad in his tracks but he still got one last shot out hitting the wings off of Varrick's Mecha suit.

"EJECTING!" Varrick yelled as they ejected as they crashed before Korra froze the arm in place just as Hiroshi and Asami landed on the leg.

Hiroshi quickly started cutting in.

"Come on!" Sean yelled before Korra used more water to hold it in place while Sean breathed a mist from his mouth to keep it frozen as long as possible.

"It's not gonna hold it." Korra said as Vlad started breaking through as he roared in rage

"Dad we need to go!" Asami yelled.

"Almost there. Almost there." Hiroshi said before Vlad's arm broke free.

"DAD! NOW!" Asami yelled.

"Good-bye, Asami. I love you. Live a happy life." Hiroshi said before ejecting her making her eyes widen in shock.

"DAD!" Asami screamed before he was crushed by Vlad. Nevertheless his plan worked cutting a hole for the others.

"Hiroshi's plan worked." Korra said as Sean held her as he glared at the giant.

"We'll make sure his sacrifice was not in vain. RUSH TO IT NOW!" Sean said as they rushed to the opening.

"DON'T EVEN FUCKING THINK ABOUT IT YOU BASTARD!" Vlad yelled as he tried to crush them but they made it in making him growl in rage.

"Ok. It's time we tear this thing apart from the inside out." Sean said.

"Su, Lin, climb up to the arm and try to disable that weapon. Mako, Bolin, Get to the engine and see if you can power this thing down. Sean and I are going after Vlad." Korra said.

Outside

Diaz roared as he used a mini gun on a large number of robots that came at them.

"COME AND GET SOME!" Joker yelled firing at Red Lotus members.

"LOOK OUT!" Sarah yelled as they nearly got crushed by one of Vlad's Jaegers who was destroyed by Gipsy.

"I need heavy weapons on my position NOW!" Soap yelled on comms.

"Roger that Heavy rounds inbound." Shepherd said as from the skies a large number of heavy gunfire came down on the enemy.

Reznov blasted a large number of Equalists with black lightning while Joesph sent a wave of stone at the rest.

"We need to keep them occupied long enough for them to get the job done." Price said.

"Let them do their job and we'll do ours." Adler said firing at some robots who had them pinned.

Turok turned into Slifer before roaring into the air as he blasted a large number of robots away while Jinora airbended them back.

Inside

Lin and Suyin made it to the Cannon before they were attacked by a few robots who shot at them but Lin blocked them.

"I'll take care of these things. Disable the weapon!" Lin said going on the attack.

Suyin quickly used her metal bending to pull the capsules down before they exploded which she dodged before Lin came back up.

"Nice work." Lin said.

"This whole machine is one giant weapon but without this thing it evens the playing field in our favor." Suyin said before they started metal bending the gears.

In the control room

"The weapon's loading mechanism has malfunctioned. We're unable to fire."

"Thats no malfunction. Those pests have destroyed the gears inside the cannon!" Vlad yelled trying to move it but nothing happened. "NO! I've lost control of the primary weapon. This fucking thing is useless now!" Vlad yelled before he grabbed the limp arm and tore it off making Suyin and Lin nearly fall out had Lin not metal bended them to the wall as they flew away and the cannon flew off.

Both of them were knocked out cold but still alive.

Thats when the door to the control room was metal bended open by Korra as she and Sean jumped in before Sean cut off the heads of those who followed Vlad.

"It's over Vlad. You can't win without that weapon anymore." Sean said as he pulled out the Dark Star Saber.

"I am going to enjoy killing both of you and then those brats." Vlad said before roaring as he tried to slash them but they dodged before Korra used airbending on him sending him crashing into the wall before Sean blasted him with white lightning making him roar before their blades clashed creating waves of great power before Korra firebended him in the face making him roar in pain.

"I'm not gonna let you lay a finger on them!" Korra yelled as she kicked him back making him groan.

Outside

"FIRE!" Gaz yelled as several tanks fired on the enemy forcing them back.

"Incoming!" Ghost yelled as several robots came right at them keeping them pinned down.

"I need backup on my position now!" Price yelled.

"Here we come!" Noah yelled as he and Takina dropped down before Takina was incased in black metal before charging right through the robots with ease while Noah made waves of purple energy destroying them.

"Thats more like it!" Gaz yelled firing at the robots.

Inside

Mako and Bolin finally took out the guards about to shut down the power source.

"Pull the levers!" Mako said as they both did so but nothing happened.

"Vlad must have done some override thing!" Bolin said.

"Theres got to be some other way to shut down power from here. You spent some time with Varrick and Jr. Didn't anything rub off on you?" Mako asked.

"Look the only thing I know is these things explode when you mess with them." Bolin said.

Mako narrowed his eyes before looking at the spirit vine.

"Get those engineers out of here. I have an idea." Mako said.

"Want to fill me in?" Bolin asked.

"I'm gonna zap these vines with some electricity." Mako said.

"Maybe you didn't hear me. That will make the vines explode." Bolin said.

"Exactly. This is our only way of shutting this thing down and hopefully with Vlad." Mako said.

"But..." Bolin tried to say.

"Don't argue with me just go." Mako said.

Up top

Sean and Vlad roared as their blades clashed making waves of great power before Korra metal bended the walls to make sharp weapons before launching them at Vlad which he dodged but one hit his back.

"ARGH!" Vlad roared in pain before glaring at her before blasting her with purple lighting which she used a move Iroh made long ago to direct it right back at him making him groan in pain as he hit the wall.

"Just what the hell did you learn while I was dead?" Sean asked making her grin before Vlad growled.

"I...Am SICK...And tired...Of you getting everything...While I'm left with nothing since my mother killed your father...21 years ago." Vlad said glaring at them.

"Vlad there's something you need to know." Korra tried to say.

"DIE!" Vlad yelled charging at them but Sean blocked his strikes with his blade.

Down below

Mako after Bolin got the others out of the room used lightning bending to strike the vines before everything started exploding from the inside out before he yelled as his arm was injured before he tried to get out but got hit as he was near the exit.

Thankfully Bolin came back and pulled him down just as the vine started going critical.

Up above

Sean and Vlad continued to use their blades to fight each other.

"AHHHH!" Sean yelled as he swung his blade down hard shattering the Dark Star Saber shocking Vlad before Korra airbended him into the wall.

"It's over Vlad." Korra said before the whole place shook.

"Oh fuck thats not good!" Sean said as the Giant Exploded making the top half fly in the air.

Sean stabbed his blade on the ground and held his wife close.

"AHHHH!" Korra screamed before they crashed down.

Mako and Bolin were alive but knocked out from the crash.

The control room exploded as Sean and Korra came out with the former holding Vlad who grunted before he dropped him.

"Even...If you kill me...My army...Will not stop." Vlad said making Sean frown before looking at his blade before stabbing it into the ground as the winds began to pick up.

"Sean?" Korra asked.

"Hang on." Sean said making her grab him as the clouds began to twist around them before the whole place felt a wave of unimaginable power before a strike from above hit the ground before destroying Vlad's army all over the city while leaving the united armies untouched.

Sean groaned as he and Korra stood up while Vlad growled at him.

"It's over Vlad. Now lets..." Sean tried to say before Vlad called what remained of his mother's sword before stabbing him in the stomach making Sean groan in pain making Korra gasp as she held him while Vlad ran off. "Don't worry about me. Don't let him get away!" Sean yelled making her run off after him.

"Your gonna pay for that Vlad." Korra said as he ran off before he found something. "This madness needs to end." Korra said.

"If you really want it to end, then come and get me!" Vlad yelled out making her follow as she arrived in the forest before gasping seeing Vlad's weapon. "Now it's over!' Vlad yelled firing it but Korra dodged.

However the whole place started to glow before spinning Vlad around.

"Shut it down!" Korra yelled which he did try to do.

"I CAN'T!" Vlad yelled before he was thrown off making him grunt before looking up and gasped seeing his weapon coming right at him.

However Korra got in the way and activated the Avatar state to shield them both.

Thats when a large explosion occurred that went a large distance.

Sean quickly took cover avoiding the blast.

"What the hell?" Sean asked before it pulled back before a bright light went to the sky. "A new spirit portal?" Sean asked himself before he used his magic to seal his wound making him grunt in pain before rushing to find Korra.

Arriving at the portal he found nothing but spirit vines.

"Korra? KORRA!" Sean yelled.

Meanwhile

Korra slowly opened her eyes as she found herself in blue energy before looking in front of her seeing Sean in Purple before it turned out to be Vlad before they landed on the ground as Vlad fell forward before she caught him.

Opening his eyes he looked around before seeing her and yelled as he backed away.

"The hell happened? Where are we?" Vlad asked.

Before Korra could answer they heard a loud roar making them look seeing several large creatures before she spotted Malefore's former Battle spirt. (Raviel from Yugioh GX incase people forgot)

"We're in the battle spirit world." Korra said in surprise before Vlad looked at her.

"Why would you save me? After everything I did?" Vlad asked.

"I guess...Because you and Sean are a lot alike." Korra said making him growl.

"DON'T YOU DARE COMPARE ME TO HIM! HE GOT EVERYTHING HANDED TO HIM ON A SILVER PLATTER! WHAT DID I GET? I..." Vlad tried to say before she smacked him much to his shock.

"You think just because he had a life of luxury he was happy? Vlad he was broken no different than you! He didn't cause what happened to you because of what your mother did! Norris did that." Korra said.

"But he still got everything. I wanted to serve the country we lived in. And they turned their backs on me for something I didn't even do. Encouraged or not I..." Vlad tried to say.

"Lost your faith in humanity." Korra said making him stop. "So did he. So did all of them. Because of what Cinder did when she became corrupted." Korra said making him look away.

"I swore on that day I wouldn't be like her. And yet everyone turned their backs on me. Hudson, Adler, Irons, Shepherd. They all turned their backs on me despite what I told them. It wasn't my fault." Vlad sobbed as he fell to his knees.

"I know. But Vlad...Even though Sean had everything most people wanted...He wasn't completely happy. He was happy to have a family sure. But he wanted his old one back. That included you." Korra said making him look at her.

"You don't understand anything about me. I suffered for 10 years for something I never even did. And when I begged the people I trusted the most...They did nothing. Even though I swore I would never take the same path as my mother." Vlad said.

"Thats just the thing you did." Korra said making him glare. "Vlad...The Dark Master...Alduin...He's the one who corrupted her." Korra said shocking him.

"Wha...What?" Vlad asked.

"Everything bad thats ever happened in the world is because of him. Including corrupting Cinder, Malefor and Ariac. The Chronicler told us everything. And you worked for him no different than her but more willingly since you didn't know the truth." Korra said making him widen his eyes.

"No." Vlad said looking down.

"He used you. Like he did everyone." Korra said.

"All I ever wanted was to create a new world where what happened to me would never happen again. And now...I find out I'm no different than my mother." Vlad said in defeat.

"Despite everything you've done. All the lives you've killed. All the innocents and the destruction you've caused. Sean still thinks you can be saved. Because he hasn't given up on you." Korra said making him sob as she crouched next to him. "Maybe we can still help you. Give you a second chance. Everyone deserves one. Even people like you...And Zaheer." Korra said making him shake his head.

"No. Just burry me out at sea." Vlad said taking out a blade. "It's the one place I felt at Peace...I am so sorry for everything." Vlad said.

"NO!" Korra yelled as he stabbed himself in the throat as he coughed on his own blood before he slowly died. Korra looked at his dead body before sighing as she placed her hand on his face before closing his eyes.

Outside

Sean continued to look for his wife before the others arrived.

"Sean. Wheres Korra?" Tenzin asked.

"I..." Sean tried to say before Korra came out of the portal with Vlad's dead body. "No." Sean said as he rushed to her before she gently set him down.

"I'm sorry Sean...I tried my best to help him...He took his own life when he learned the truth about the Dark Master. That he was the one who corrupted his mother and uncles...I..." Korra tried to say before he held her close as she cried. "I'm sorry." Korra said.

"Shh. You did everything you could. And for that I'm thankful." Sean said as he picked up his cousin.

"He asked to be buried out at sea." Korra said wiping the tears out of her eyes.

"We can do that." Sean said before looking up and glared.

"What is it?" Tenzin asked before looking up as they saw a dark portal opened up before someone walked through. A man who had tan skin dirty blonde hair and Red eyes. (Picture Anubis from Yugioh the Pyramid of Light movie)

He glared at all of them in hatred.

"You have ruined my plans just like the rest of your predecessors."

"Alduin. The Dark Master." Sean said glaring at his Great Grand Uncle.

"I'm pleased you know me. The Chronicler may have had Zaheer bring you back from the dead but make no mistake. You will not stop me." Alduin said before he vanished.

"The war may be over but as long as he's alive again the world is not safe." Sean said.

"We'll stop him. Soon enough." Korra said making him nod.
