Daya move towards Abhijeet's room and entered inside without knocking. But Abhijeet didn't react. He was sitting on the bed leaning back on the head rest with closed eyes. An envelope clutched in one of his hands.
Daya stood at the door for few seconds, deciding many things.

Abhijeet opened his eyes and turned towards Daya silently

He entered inside and sit on the corner of the bed near his legs

Abhijeet was looking at Daya with devastated expression

Abhijeet shook his head in no without saying anything learned back again and closed his eyes.
Daya now turned bit sarcastic with

Abhijeet didn't open his eyes but Daya continued
Kahin tum ne sab chor chaar dene ki to nahi sochi na? Resignation dene ka to nahi soch liya?
Abhijeet now opened his eyes and Daya threw the paper on his lap with

Abhijeet looked at the paper, gave a thorough glance to it then just sighed without saying anything not looking at Daya who was still giving him the hard looks

Abhijeet didn't look up and Daya this time feels real anger. Although he knows technically that these are the symptoms of breakdown but he can't ignore the anger anymore
He stood up with a jerk and started in a loud tone

He was about to move out but then turned and said chewing his words with

Abhijeet who was looking down silently now looked up with a jerk hearing the words tumhein tumhare ghar tak chorney ko and said

Purvi said: sir aap...ab tak us baat ka...
But Daya cut her: nahi Purvi us ne sirf kaha nahi hai...us ne kar bhi diya hai…us ne resignation letter type kar liya hai..shayad moqa milta to shayad wo letter ab tak DCP sir tak pohanch bhi jata…per us ne mujhe bataney ki zarurat nahi samjhi
Purvi said shockingly: Resig…nation
Sachin sighed as if he was ready for this, while Vivek looked equally disturbed to Purvi
Freddy said: sir aap samjhaiye na
Daya chwed with: mujhey kisi ko kuch nahi samjhana…jis ki jo marzi chahey karey…mujhe to kisi ne poocha nahi
Per sir aap…
Daya drank the glass of water present on his desk in one go then said
Fikar mat karo Freddy…me itni jaldi tumhare sir ko in sab se door nahi janey dun ga…
Rajat entered inside and seeing Daya there he said
Sir aap yahan ?Abhijeet sir hospital mein akele
Daya nodded with: Aditya ki duty hai…akela nahi ho ga wo…
Ohh..
Tumhari DIG sir se baat ho gayi?
G sir…
Koi problem to nahi hai?
Nahi sir…(after some silence he asked) sir aap ghussa hain?
Kiun?
Nahi…kuch nahi..
Daya sighed: tum logon se nahi hun naraz tumhare Abhijeet sir se hun
Rajat nodded understandingly, but Daya didn't stop said
Us ko Resignation dene ka shoq charha hai
Rajat again nodded understandingly and Daya got irritated
Tum ye sar kiun hila rahey ho?
Rajat smiled a bit with: kal me or Sachin is hi mamley per baat kar rahey they ke sir shayad ab ya to transfer lene ki ya Resignation dene ki baat karein ge
Daya looked at Rajat in shock
Other officers have understood his brother but he didn't? how is it possible?

Freddy looked down, his face clearly saying that he still remember that Sub Inspector Daya who got disturbed whenever he face any obstacle. Same sub inspector who had attempted on his own life more than once when suspected by anyone
Few years back he said to DCP mujhey nahi karna aap k pass kaam…aap shak kartey hain…to mujhey bhi nahi karna hai and moved out
Freddy remembered Daya crying in front of everyone following his emotional instinct and every time Abhijeet was the one who gave him hope
Daya sighed; Freddy me us ko kaise itni jaldi haar maan lene dun?

Freddy looked down others too although not getting the detail incidents understood the emotions well so stayed silent
After a short silence Daya said: me itni jaldi usey haar manney nahi de sakta…me apni puri koshish karun ga…

He paused a bit then gulped down his emotions

Daya was about to move out when Freddy cleared his throat unnecessarily with

Rajat looked at Sachin strictly with: ye baat un dono ke beech hi rahey…mujhe pata hai hum sab un ko le ke fiqar mand ho saktey hain…per jitna Daya sir un ke liye sochein ge…hum utna to nahi soch saktey…to un ko hi sochney do is mamley mein
Freddy protested with: per sir…hum sab ka bhi…
Haan Freddy hum sab ka bhi haq hai sochney ka…kuch kehney ka…per tum socho…agar tumhara koi dost kisi problem ki wajah se bhagna chahey…or sab kehein ke theek hai koi baat nahi…us ke liye yehi theek ho ga…per kya tum us ko itney aram se janey do ge?
Freddy's eyes immediately travel to a particular desk where a very embarrassed looking lad is standing looking down. Freddy remembers, after Tasha's death some similar scenario has played and how he had handled that at that time. He looked awkward and nodded
Purvi said: sir..aj sham tak Abhijeet sir ko discharge mil jaye ga…to kya hum un se hospital mein ya ghar mein milney nahi jaein ge?
Rajat thought for few seconds then said: haan per…acha me na aik baar Aditya se baat kar leta hun ke milna theek ho ga k nahi…us k baad…

Rajat looked at his watch and said: chalo tum log lunch kar lo…phir baki ka kaam kartey hai
