Chapter 50: Time's Up

Arachne: *Screech*

A force of Black arms surrounds them.

Vector: "Duck!"

He blows a bubble from his mouth and roars. He spins around unleashing his Vector breath onto them creating bubbles. They float onto them and explode. They blow up creating incendiary explosions. It burns and blows up everything in sight. All the black arms are getting set on fire our killed. It damages the spider Damaging it.

Espio: "Nice job."

He unleashes a smoke bomb onto the ground. They immediately start running underneath the spider. They run through the jungle until they come face to face with a cliff. The spider crawls through the jungle and meets them next to the cliff. It delivers a leg, missing them. another missing and spits out venom from its mouth. It hits the ground and burns the grass.

Espio: "Charmy. Get out of here. Take this with you."

He tosses the flash drive to him.

Charmy: "But what about you guys?"

Vector: "Don't worry. Just finish the mission."

Charmy remembers how he treated and stayed by them in the hospital. He runs and jumps off the cliffside. Dragono flies in and lands on top of the spider.

Dragono: "Games up fellas. Wait a minute. Weren't there three of you?"

Espio: "He's long gone now."

Dragono: "Is he now? Arachne, feast on their bones. I'll be back."

He flies off somewhere else. The spider snags vector with webs it tries to stab Vector with it's legs but he catches and holds onto it. Espio runs up on the leg Vector is holding it. Espio makes it to one of the eyes and slashes it with his kunei. The spider squeals and fumbles back a bit into the trees. Espio jumps off. It spits a web at espio making him fly over the edge. He stuck in the web.

Espio: "Aaaaahhhhhh!"

He falls down and Vector runs towards the edge. He notices the spider coming and he jumps.

Vector: "Wooooaaahhhh!"

He falls down and hits the trees. he lands on his back onto the ground. He looks up to see the Spider crawling down sniffing out its prey. The spiders thermal heat sensing can see him. Vector stands and runs for his dear life. He runs through the jungle heading the direction of north. He looks up in the sky and sees the suns positioning. It's still morning and he points out where north could be. He runs the directrion and notices something.

Vector: "Huh?"

The black comet can be seen in the sky. Vector runs towards the direction. He swings through the jungle and goes into the water swimming following the direction. He goes down and is met with another crocodile. A normal one. It starts developing hearts in its eyes and starts cuddling onto him.

Vector: "Sorry, it's not that kinda party."

He jumps out of the water and continues to run.

Vector: "I hope I'm wrong, but they might be heading towards westopolis."

The spider can be heard in the distance screeching. He runs and gets caught in the web.

Vector: "Shit."

A swarm comes in and he starts chewing. He pops gum in his mouth and blows fire onto the web. The webs start burning away. The swarm gets closer. The little ones that might grow up to be the bigger one. He unleashes his fist. He smashes the closest one with his fist. He free's himself and gets out. He runs and makes it to an open field. The spider comes in with it's children surrounding him. Vector puts his headphones onto his ears and pulls out his phone and plays something. He presses on his music player and plays a classic.

Vector cracks his knuckles and his neck.

Vector: "Alright. lets play."

Arachne: *Screech*

Black comet

Despara: "Seems your friend is about to be eaten by one of my pets."

Sonic: "Like I said. Don't underestimate these guys. They won't stop until the job gets done."

Despara: "Well. I'll make you a bet. If he last against the Arachne, I'll spare him."

Sonic: "Nice try. Too easy for the both of us. A table of chili dogs and you spare him."

Despara: "Done."

White jungle

The swarm attacks and he punches the ones coming at him. the Arachne spits out acid at him and he dodges. He kicks and stomps onto the spiders that try to kill him. a ton of webs get splattered onto him and they all bum rush him. they cover his body until he burst them all off with his brute strength. He runs punching and smashing the younglings out of the way. The Arachne sends it's leg down onto vector slashing his arm. He grabs the mother and pulls her down. He runs up punching it in the face. It screeches sending vector back a little. A few arachnes protect her. Vector gets swarms again. They spit their acid at him and he ducks and dodges. He jumps high and falls down punching the ground knocking all the spiders out of the area and out his path. He pops more of his gum and breathes fire. He screams burning all spiders around. he runs with his fire breathe and breaths a bubble he fires it at the mother spider but she jumps out of the way. She swings onto a giant tree branch and swings around onto a tree. she crawls within the trees and vector notices a boulder on the open. He picks it up and tosses it towards the mother. She gets hit in the body and she falls. Vector punches and smashes all those out of his path. More spiders and even bigger ones. He grabs it and swings it around tossing it into another one. Vector sends a fireball towards the spiders web the mother is swinging on. She falls down and lands its body flat. Vector runs up and jumps high into the air. He clubs his fist together and comes down. Smashing it with a critical hit into the ground. It raises it's leg and flops on the ground. Vector stands on top seeing the spiders come to the mothers aid. Vector sends out the last of his gum in his mouth and blows a swarm of bubble explosions big enough to destroy the swarm. The Arachne passes out.

Vector: "Not so tough now are you?"

A ship can be heard coming in and vector notices it's black arms. They run off the ship pointing guns at him.

Black arm: "Surrender now!"

Vector looks unfazed by the guns and the threats. He looks around to see he's out gun, numbered and matched. Vector realizes the best option is to surrender. They won't kill him, yet. If they did they would've fired by now. He realizes he's lost in the middle of nowhere has no way out but decides. He looks into the bushes seeing his partner and raises his hands.

Vector: "Congratulations. You managed to capture the worlds greatest detective."

10 Minutes earlier

Espio is stuck within the trees. he's webbed and can't move. He can see his kunei on the ground. Only if he could reach it, he could cut himself out. He hears someone talking in the distance. A familiar voice he hasn't heard in a while.

Big the cat: "Y'know froggy, a lot of these places in this jungle sure have nice spots to fish. I honestly enjoy this jungle's spots. If it wasn't for all the mean old wild life here trying to eat us. Not to mention the inhabitants of this place pointing their shooty guns at us."

Espio looks to see the fat cat walking by.

Espio: "Hey! Hey! You! Help me down!"

Big: "Huh?"

Froggy: "Ribbit Ribbit! (That guy needs our help!)

Espio: "Hey you, I know you. I need help down."

Big: "Oh, Hello."

Espio: "Grab that kunei and get me down."

Big: "That looks sharp."

He pulls out his fishing hook and launches it up to the web. He yanks it cutting it all off releasing Espio. He falls down and lands.

Espio: "Thank you."

He bows.

Big: "You're welcome."

Espio pick up his kunei.

Espio: "What are you doing out here?"

Big: "I'm here to search places to fish in this jungle."

Espio: "Hmm. I suggest you get out. There are bad people here."

Big: "Those creatures?"

Espio: "You ran into them?"

Big: "They were extremely inappropriate. They were big meanies. I managed to escape with froggy."

Espio: "Good to know."

*Screech*

Espio: "C'mon."

Big: "Okay."

He follows espio to the noise and find him hiding in the bushes. Espio grabs him and pulls him down to the bushes hiding. They see Vector surrendering. They put him in cuffs and take him onto the ship.

Black arm: "Tough guy huh. We're surprised you defeated the Arachne."

Black arm: "Today is your lucky day pal. You get to meet one of our leaders. She has a keen interest in you."

Espio quickly grabs big and sneaks onto the ship.

Espio: "Stay silent."

They follow behind unseen and hide next to cargo walls of the ship. It starts to take off and the Arachne awakens. She sends a web latching onto the ship and it flies carrying her and two trespassers.

Black Comet

Sonic is eating a table full of chili dogs. His stomach getting bigger. A swallows one whole.

Despara: "I'm impressed. Deals a deal."

Sonic: "Thanks."

Despara: "Eat enough hedgehog. In about 2 hours and 28 minutes, it'll be show time."

GUN Fortress

Shadow: "Are you okay?"

Amy: "Yeah. Just needed to cool off. I hope Sonic is okay."

Shadow: "Don't worry. He's fine."

Cal: "Might I suggest we use force."

Shadow: "You already tried."

Cal: "No. Remember how your friend made him talk. After listening to the intel we had thanks to her, we decided to use the same stuff she used onto him."

A few gun agents walk towards Them with a doctor. The doctor has a needle in his hand with the sodium thiopental.

Shadow: "You guys sure you want to do that? He hates needles."

Cal: "Which is why some of my guys are gonna hold him down."

They walk into the cell with the chained up Hedgehog.

Gloom: "Oh boy what's this another blood work?"

Cal: "Something like that."

Gloom: "What's that?"

Doctor: "Sodium thiopental."

Gloom: "Sodium What now?"

Flashback

Cream: "sodium thiopental"

Flashback ends

Gloom: "No, No NO! NONONONONO!"

He starts shaking. The marks on his head and body start glowing. He grows spikes around his body protecting him. The doctor stands back while a few Gun agents point guns at him. Shadow stands in front of Amy ready for him. He tries to break free and the surge of electricity from the chains shocks him. he tries to fight it but he can't. he gets shocked and passes out a bit. Shadow walks forward a bit to check on him. he steps closer and closer until he wakes up again.

Gloom: "No! Get away!"

He shoots out more spikes that miss them. Shadow catches one that almost hits a gun agent.

Cal: "Hold him down!"

They all grab his arms. Shadow holds onto his head making him stay still. Glooms eyes start turning yellow haze with a purple venom eye in his pupils. The doctor steps close and Gloom screeches out into a demonic voice terrifying the doctor. He injects the needle into his neck and he yelps out in pain and calms down. He's feeling the tension again. He powers down and the electricity in the chains stop. They all back off of him. His eyes return to normal.

Gloom: "Oh Crap!"

Doctor: "It'll start kicking in about a minute."

Cal: "Thanks doc!"

He walks off with the syringe and other products. He starts sweating and turning a bit red.

Cal: "Not so tough now are you?"

Gloom: "What do you want from me?"

Cal: "Question number one. What's happening today?"

Gloom: "Your mother dies today. Probably."

The injection starts flowing through his veins. His heart starts slowing. Beating irregular. He starts shivering. His vision blurring.

Cal: "Hey."

He picks his head up a bit. He looks at Cal.

Cal: "What are they planning today?"

Gloom: "An… An Attack on the united federation. They'll be heading towards this place to break me out. While that's happening they're going to unleash havoc onto the cities along the way here."

Cal: "When will they start commencing?"

Gloom: "Probably now. Soon I think. I just know they'll be here today to initiate an attack."

Cal: "Are you working for someone?"

Gloom: "No but I will carry out his wish and plan."

Shadow: "Is Black Doom Alive."

Gloom: "No"

Shadow: "What is your main objective?"

Gloom: "To kill and conquer the world. And that you can believe."

Cal: "What else do you know?"

Gloom: "2129 Broodway avenue."

Cal: "…What?"

Gloom: "Yeah. I know where that little girl sleeps."

He kicks him in the face busting his nose. He strangles him by the neck until 3 of his men lunge to stop him. they grab him and pull him back.

Cal: "I swear to God I'll kill you!"

Gloom: *Chuckles*

Shadow: "What?"

Gloom: "His daughter. His address. Told you we are capable of so many things."

They pull him out for him to get some air. Amy steps forward.

Amy: "Where's sonic?"

Gloom: "He's on the comet."

Amy: "Comet? The black comet was destroyed."

Gloom: "We made a new one. We always survive."

Amy: "But how?"

Gloom: "It took 2 years of hard work to rebuild but they succeeded."

She looks back at Shadow. He steps up.

Shadow: "What's going on today?"

Gloom: "War."

Shadow: "another war?"

Gloom: "We're going to cripple one of the worlds finest today. One of us had a brilliant plan."

Amy: "Who did?"

Gloom: "… Can't tell you."

Shadow: "Who?"

Gloom: "I can't tell you because He doesn't even have a name."

Shadow: "What plan did he come up with?"

Gloom: *Laughing*

Shadow: "What's so funny?"

Gloom: "Did you really think you idiots could take me down?"

Amy: "Hmm?"

Gloom: "C'mon. wasn't it obvious? I was going easy on you guys up there? If I wanted I would've just massacred everyone space colony ark."

Amy: "But you didn't?"

Gloom: "No just the people that made me their enemy being up there. And it was also the fact because I didn't want to destroy the one place I still respect enough to call home."

Amy: "So Sonic?"

Gloom: "I was holding back. I mean letting him defeat me was risky though. He could have killed me."

Shadow: "So what's in Holaska?"

Gloom: "A fracture of the old comet fell towards the northern artic. That fracture is a place that holds Black Doom's secrets."

Shadow: "What kind of secrets?"

Gloom: "Secrets that could possibly help us in our cause."

Shadow: "Alright. we got everything we need."

He walks towards the door until he places his hand onto the door.

Gloom: "Wait!"

Shadow: "Hmm?"

Gloom: "What do you think of me when you see me?"

Shadow: …

Gloom: "Here's a harsh reality man. You're me. You're the clone. Im the original. I'm better than you in every way."

He exits the room. Amy stays in the room.

Amy: "I think you are better than this."

Gloom looks at her.

Amy: "You're misguided."

Gloom: "What do you know?"

Amy: "I know Maria wouldn't want to see you like this."

Gloom: "And look at her now?"

Amy: "How can you say that?"

Gloom: "Because she didn't understand Human nature. I do."

Amy: "Do you?"

Gloom: …

Amy: "Humans aren't like that."

Gloom: "Maybe not but they fear the unknown. That's what they do. Kill what they don't understand and the mobians wouldn't have been different."

Amy: "That's not all the world has to offer y'know."

Gloom: "Oh is it? Drugs wars, gangs, dictators, Thieves, Power hungry politicians. I could go on."

Amy: "But the people deserve a future."

Gloom: "To live long enough to turn into the very same monsters? Yeah Please."

Amy: "But what about us? We never intended on killing you. only in self defense or to stop you."

Gloom: "True."

Amy: "Gloom. Please find it in your heart to let go of that rage, anger, and sadness that's still exist in you."

Gloom: "I'll never let go."

Amy: "Let go, but never forget where you came from."

Gloom: "I won't but they gave me life up there. They got me prepared for the world until the world came for us. All that hop and change bullshit didn't get us anywhere. Suddenly a man and his grand daughter had the power to make two ultimate successes and they did."

Amy: "In secrecy of hiding the truth that a mad man served black doom and betrayed his own people for research?"

Gloom: "To save cure her from that disease that we actually succeeded in. she was a dying cancer kid who needed us and she would've have made it."

Amy: "By a complete accident."

Gloom: "It wasn't no accident. It was all the united federations fault. The people on this planet is so blind, they don't see what's really going on behind the curtains. Who's pulling the strings. We were supposed to be a beacon for humanity. My life would've had fucking purpose here. I guess I was wrong about that. I finally realize that Black Doom wanted me to be the salvation if things went wrong. He always had a back up plan. We could've showed these humans that we came in peace. They tried to kill us all off and we went into hiding. This is not just a war. It's freedom. Freedom for all those oppressed by the evils of a corrupt government. The things we found out they did. The lives they destroy to complete their missions. And yeah fellas you're hearing this! We know what you are capable of! These fuckers spy and cheated and clawed their way to power. The world will be better off without it. And even if you destroy this country then what? the next one gets to take over and the next and the next and the next. That's how war is made. Me, we intend to be the last war. Those creatures before us were right about how mother nature works."

Amy: "Creatures? What Creatures?"

Gloom: "Oooh you don't want to know. It's a good thing they're sealed away. Nobody can bother them. It's not the black arms first rodeo being on this planet y'know. We been here before. We were no match for them. It's always fear Life uses on people and that's where it counts."

Amy: "And what do you want?"

Gloom: "I want to ensure that this planet lives on forever, including it's inhabitants. I don't want the next generation to feel this pain running inside me."

Amy: "Well then you're no different than the people here you're talking. You'd rather see all of life here in a cell?"

Gloom: "Yes safe and for their own good."

Amy: "Then what's the point of living? What's the point of experiencing freedom?"

Gloom: "Freedom isn't free?"

Amy: "You're right but it's earned thanks to free will."

Gloom: "And what's free will to you?"

Amy: "Free will is the beauty to live life without the meaning to be slave. Freedom to choose. Freedom to Create. Freedom to learn."

Gloom: "Then what's the poin-"

Amy: "To live, and the black arms wanted to take that from us. We know Black Doom's intentions."

Gloom: "The good one to make sure that life on this planet lives in prosper."

Amy: "But you lost. Didn't your people had to adapt?"

Gloom: "Well-"

Amy: "Did most of them enjoy it?"

Gloom: …

Amy: "I know some of them did."

Gloom: "Then they're traitors."

Amy: "Like you're betraying us? The planet you live on?"

Gloom: …

Amy: "Don't you think anybody would've thought of this now?"

The door Opens with Shadow.

Shadow: "We gotta go back upstairs."

Amy: "I'll be back okay."

Gloom: "Yeah."

She walks to shadow.

Gloom: "You were always their favorite you know."

Shadow looks back. he doesn't respond and walks off. He walks next to her.

Shadow: "I don't know what we're gonna do with him."

Amy: "I hope I got some sense into him."

Shadow: "I'm pretty sure you did."

They walk to the elevator and enter. They head up to the surface and enter the Main area of GUN.

Rouge: "Oh Good. You made it."

Shadow: "Hey."

Amy: "Hi rouge."

Rouge: "So how did it go?"

Amy: "I'm getting to him."

Rouge: "You are?"

Amy: "Well. By an inch."

Rouge: "Y'know it's weird. He seems to take an attraction to you?"

Amy: "Yeah. Maybe I have the answers for him."

Shadow's Conscience: "Or maybe he sees you like I do. Like Maria."

Rouge: "You guys looking to go get something to eat?"

Amy: "Sure. Shadow?"

Shadow: "Okay."

Amy: "What time is it?"

Rouge: "8:59"

They walk out from the base and head towards the nearest food place. Rouge takes her somewhere she knows.

1 hour and 29 minutes until the bombs go off

Mobotropolis

The ship lands on the airport of mobotropolis with tails, Sally, Knuckles, and Nicole. The doors open with the four of them exiting. They notice a whole group of people standing around applauding to them. they clap and cheer them. cameras and flashing lights capturing them.

Tails: "What's going on?"

A group of royal guards walk through and push the people out of the way.

Royal guard: "Coming through."

Royal Guard: "Out of our way."

Royal guard: "Stand back everyone."

The king walks through and meets with his fellow freedom fighters. A Fox in charge walks through to meet them.

Amadeus: "Hello Son."

Tails: "Hey dad."

Sally: "What is all this?"

Elias: "Everyone was worried about you. the people you saved are being returned home at our refuge."

Sally: "That's good. So did you all get my message?"

Elias: "Yeah. And we are prepared. Come on."

They move everyone away with a bunch of cameras. They enter a chopper that takes them to the Royal Palace.

Elias: "Where's sonic?"

Tails: "He was taken by them."

Elias: "He was?"

Sally: "Yeah."

Elias: "Great seems like we got bigger problems. So what did you find?"

Sally: "We need to warn GUN. They could be planning something big."

Elias: "Whatever it is you need to tell them might be already to late."

Sally: "Why?"

Elias pulls out his tablet and puts on the news in the united federation.

United News Reporter: "We're coming to you live from westopolis. Right now a large alien looking space ship was spotted west of the city heading to our direction. Local authorities claim that everyone should evacuate and get to safety. Locals say that another possible invasion could be under way. The GUN have their eyes on it and are ready to attack. Right now the president has issued a world wide warning to be prepared for the worst yet to come."

Sally: "We need to get to GUN HQ."

Elias: "Right."

Tails opens the door.

Tails: "I'll be in my hangar. I'll be waiting for the you guys."

Amadeus: "Good luck son!"

Tails: "Thanks Dad."

He jumps out and flies towards his house.

Black Comet

The ship lands into the comet area. The black arm soldiers walk out with vector in chains. He is carried to through the comet. Espio and big sneak off the ship and wait for their next move.

Espio: "We gotta save him. Big you wait and stay here. If it gets bad you go onto the ship and get out."

Big: "Okie-dokie."

He hides behind the boxes and espio goes invisible. He follows the unit transporting him to the throne room of the comet where sonic is.

Vector: "So what is this place? A giant turdball?"

Black arm: "Keep your mouth shut."

They walk through a large area with blackwings flying and them shooting guns. A few black arms eyeball him. they all look amazed to see the prisoner. They go through another hallway. They enter a platform that takes them up to the top. Espio sneaks up to vectors ear.

Espio: *Whispering* "Vector it's me espio. I snuck aboard the ship."

Vector: "Good to know."

Black arm: "Stop talking freak."

Espio: *Whispering* "I'll get you out of this."

Vector: "Not yet."

Black arm: "Who are you talking to?"

Vector: "No one."

The platform/elevator ends. They continue walking through a hallway with elite soldiers training and marching together. They have rifles ready. Earth weapons and black arm weapons. They walk through a large door with the zc symbol. The guards open it and the two black arm soldiers walk Vector through it. They enter the room to meet Despara and Sonic.

Despara: "Oh good. You're here."

Sonic: "Yo Vec!"

Vector: "they got you too?"

Sonic: "at least I saved the hundreds of people they kidnapped."

Despara: "That was an impressive fight you gave against my Arachne."

Vector: "Sorry lady. Spiders and me don't get along."

Despara: "It seems the blue rat was right not to underestimate you."

Sonic: "Hedgehog Lady."

Despara: "Fine Rodent then."

Sonic: *mumbles under his breath* "Bitch."

Vector: "Who are you anyway? Leader of the black arms? You pulling the strings on Gloom."

Despara: "He's on his rightful place as the new leader. Me. I was a apprentice of Black Doom. I lead the first battle for this planet when we first came here. They call me Despara."

Vector: "Well despara. Seems like you and your black arm buddies rebuilt the comet. So you can take your spiders, dragons, and other freakshows we don't know about and get of our planet."

The black arm behind him kicks his leg in and kicks him over on his Back.

Vector: *Grunts* "Is that all you got?"

Black arm: "Keep your mouth shut filthy mobian."

Despara: "Enough. Bring me the wish."

They hand her the bottle of pink and purple gas. Vector and Sonic look close. Vector stands to see.

Despara: "This gas and a whole bunch of explosions has been planted into GUN HQ. This gas will bring the world powers to their knees. We will be able to break Gloom out."

Sonic: "Shadow will be there to stop you."

Black arm: "That bastard I'm looing forward to stomping his teeth in."

Black arm: "We're gonna give that guy what he deserves."

A red crystal is shot towards one of them. It pierces him in the heart. He falls to the floor with the red crystal Despara sent towards him.

Despara: "Never disturb me while I'm talking."

Black arm: *Trembeling* "Yes ma'am."

Despara: "Any way. Shadow will be dealt with. Bring up the footage!"

The video from last nights event in the prison. It shows the point where She spilled the Gas on the Gun agents face.

Sonic: "Oh yeah. I was there last night."

Despara: "Im gonna show you the future. A world without leaders and evil tyrants like the pathetic inhabitants that rule it. I'm gonna show you Lord Glooms plan!"

She opens the box to reveal purple-pink liquid inside of the tubes. She reveals another box that has a weapon canon that looks familiar.

Despara: "From the concept and based on the idea from the space colony ark! We have made a laser that is not as strong as the moon destroying laser but will be strong enough to incinerate entire cities!"

Sonic: "Wha…?"

Knuckles: "She wouldn't."

Despara: "And with the this newly reformed gas we came up with that will make anything and everything that's not black arm suffer from the inside out. And as of today I am going to use one of the first special people you'll enjoy to see suffer with this. BRING HIM OUT!"

The crowd cheers on as they bring out a GUN soldier they captured. He's human. They drag him towards the stage in chains and cuffs. He is beaten to a bloody pulp. They drop him on stage with Despara looking down on him.

Despara: "Years ago when we first assembled to this planet! They thought us crippled by their weapons of mass destruction. Our supposed to be leader abandoned us and killed our lord doom for his own personal gain! He was one of the ones that burned Black Doom's body and incinerated him that the black hedgehog defeated!"

The crowd cheers to kill him and make him suffer. Despara grabs him by the hair and says something in his ear.

Despara: "Long Live the Ternion."

She reaches for the gas and opens it.

Despara: "Smells like Perfume boys!"

She puckers is face and pours all of it on his face. He screams out in agony as his face blisters up and his hair falls apart. He coughs up blood out of his mouth and nose. His face burns as he screams.

GUN Soldier: "AHHHHH"

She throws the bottle towards the crowd for a few to fight over it.

Despara: "Don't cry human. It's only pain!"

All: *Laughing*

The gun soldier rolls on his back.

Despera: "I say that's a better look for you!"

She turns to the crowd.

Despara: "We have more of these! More powerful than these in this box. Now it'll be a shame to let these go to waste for a special occasion like this. Hey Dragono?"

The dragon with the green fire on his head emerges from the side and walks on stage.

Despara: "What do you think we should do about the rest of these?"

Dragono: "I say… I say…"

The crowd cheers as they tell him with ideas of what to use it with. A lot of them saying lend it to them or drop it on Central City.

Dragono: "Don't worry babies. There'll be a lot more better than these tomorrow. I say, since we're abandoning this place, lets set up cameras in the prison have the place on lock so they can't escape and unleash this gas for the fools we captured and sent here! They'll be the first to suffer from this gas!"

Despara: "That's a great idea! Don't worry boys we'll use the laser for another time!"

Black Arm Army: "YYYYEEEEEAAAAHHHH!"

A grenade is thrown onto the stage. Dragono notices and jumps in front of the grenade. It explodes blowing the stage and burning the right side of Despara's face.

He breaks the chains off of him and spin dashes towards Despara. The mystery teleports in front of her and catches him. He tosses him away in the air and a web gets spit onto him. he slams onto the ground.

Sonic: "What the-"

The Arachne spider emerges from above behind despara.

Despara: "Do you like my Arachne? She must be hungry. To bad I can't use you. and the crocodile over there is strong for my Arachne. Aw well her time will come soon."

While they are talking the spider see's something in the room. Something that looks familiar. She starts crawling away and upward onto the ceiling.

Despara: "So where's the rest of your squad?"

Vector: "Somewhere far away. They probably already informed the united federation."

Despara: "No matter."

A phone call comes from Despara and is on the screen.

Despara: "Speak."

Dragono: "well we lost the base in the jungle. GUN forces are on the way to investigate. Did you make croc stew out of him yet?"

Despara: "No he's still alive. Would you like to say hi?"

Dragono: "Put them on speaker."

She hits the button and it's loud and clear for them to speak.

Dragono: "Hey how's it going? How's the black comet?"

Vector: "Uglier than I remember."

Dragono: "We'll take that as a compliment. Oh and hey it was real nice of you guys blowing up my base. I've been hoping to repay you for blowing up my base. Really."

Vector: "And how's that?"

Edge of Jungle

1 hour left

The bee is flying through the jungle. He see's westopolis 40 miles away. The city big enough to be seen from a hill. He flies towards it and a green fireball misses charmy by an inch.

Charmy: "Woah!"

Dragono: "Hear that Croc. Sounds of your bee friend screaming. Take a good long listen.

Charmy: "Leave me alone!"

Dragono: "I'll give you his head as a present when I get there."

He hangs up.

Black Comet

Vector: "Dammit!"

Despara: "You see what happens when you stand in our way?"

Vector roars a fire breath towards her thanks to that bubble gum he consumed earlier. she takes it all in. The fire not Affecting her at all until he stops. He stops and notices she crystalized her body. Not a single burn mark besides the ground.

Despara: "I like that. That's actually cunning. And very clever using fire but my power prepares for anything."

Vector: "Dammit."

Despara: "I hope he keeps that kid alive long enough. Bringing him here would be a great reward hearing him scream as he begs for you to help him."

Vector: "Don't be so sure about that. The boy can take care of himself."

Despara: "I hope so. Meating is adjured. Take him to the Holdings."

Black arm: "And the hedgehog?"

Despara: "Leave him there, he's not going anywhere. Get the troops ready and set a course towards central city."

The mystery sits next to sonic who's stuck against the window. He sits there with the sword in his hand admiring it's beauty. They take vector towards the holdings. Espio follows vector.

Sonic: "How long until those bombs go off?"

?: "One hour."

Sonic: "So what's your story?"

?: "Huh?"

Sonic: "Where do you come from? What's your story?"

?: "I… Don't really know where I came from. My earliest memory is that I lived in the jungles near adabat. I don't remember anything before that."

Sonic: "That's it?"

?: …

The mystery holds onto his head. He thinks about his faintest memory. The first friend he had in the jungle. He doesn't like to think about it. He starts shaking a bit but shuts it out.

?: "I rather not talk about it."

Sonic: "It's cool."

The comet starts moving.

Loading bay Black comet

Theirs a whole army of Black Arms. They march onto ships. Black oaks. Black Bulls floating and Black Emperors armored up and ready for the fight. They have weapons of mass destruction. They have rocket launchers. Plasma Guns. Black arms with miniguns and Ak's. Submachines and all type of Guns. Big is hiding behind a ammo crate. He looks up to see a whole army. Froggy hops away.

Big: "Froggy. Where are you going?"

He follows him keeping a low profile from any guard. He walks through a door and follows the leaping frog.

Froggy: "Ribbit! Ribbit!"

Big: "Huh?"

He notices a group of guards and a familiar face. Vector gets taken into the holding cells. He hides behind a wall from the dangerous men locking him up. They walk towards the direction and pass him. He pops out and froggy hops towards the Cell. Big punches the door and goes into the cell. He walks towards the chained up croc.

Vector: "Hey I know you."

Big: "Huh?"

Vector: "Let me out of this."

Big: "Why should I?"

Vector: "Please?"

Big: "Okay."

He breaks the chains of him. Espio walks into the room.

Espio: "Seems like you beat me to it."

Vector: "Good. Now we need to go get sonic and escape."

The monitor of the black comet comes on.

Black arm announcer: "prepare to drop in 5 minutes!"

Vector: "Drop?"

Espio: "They must be at westopolis."

Outskirts of Westopolis

The Bee is hiding behind a tree. he hears the flapping sounds of the dragon.

Dragono: "I know you're out there. Just make it easy on yourself and come out now. Normally I wouldn't kill a kid. But if you don't come out now, I'm gonna for sure make it worst on your part. Just come out and we can head to the comet."

Charmy hides behind the trees. He walks away trying to avoid the dragon. He walks a few feet away until he accidently steps on a stick. Dragono overhears.

Dragono: "Gotcha!"

He blows a firebeam that incinerates the trees as charmy ducks. He gets up and it all starts falling down. He runs out of the woods and past the trees. He makes it towards the open field that's near the city. The dragon flies out and clutches charmy by the face with his feet. He slams him into the ground and looks at him face to face.

Dragono: "This'll only hurt for a second."

He charges his mouth up. Charmy looks at it in horror until a shotgun gets fired towards him. he gets sent flying back and landing a bit. Charmy looks up to see GUN soldiers with their guns. One of them helps him up.

Gun soldier: "You one of the chaotix?"

Charmy: "Yeah."

GUN soldier: "Good."

Dragono gets up. He looks to see a bunch of Gun agents pointing guns at him.

Dragono: "Okay guys. You just signed your death warrents."

He dusts himself off and overhears the sound of flying. He checks his watch

Dragono: "Alright guys. Time is running short. Gotta go."

He flies off.

GUN Soldier: "Hey kid. You alright?"

Charmy: "Yeah. I'm fine."

They look up to see him flying into the clouds. They see something flying within. Looks like what they think it is.

GUN soldier: "Get him to safety!"

Westopolis

The comet approaches the city. The sky starts turning red. Everyone is looking up to see the change of scenery. There are GUN troops preparing defenses and aiming up within the sky. Everyone is evacuating and staying indoors.

Black comet

The army stands in organized ready to drop. Despara walks forth in high heels and a dress. She walks in the front with the black oak. He has gear and rocket launcher on his back. Despara stands in front of the whole army. She touches the side of the oaks arm. He faces her and kneels. He bows his head towards her and she grabs his head. She whispers in its ear.

Despara: "Show them all who we are. Send them a message like no other. See to it that the black arms will be remembered."

She kisses its forehead and he stands. He raises a fist in the air and he jumps out into the clouds. The other units of the army run out towards the edge. Roaring and screaming. They jump out into the clouds. 4 per group. They fly out into the dark red clouds. They fly out separate like it came out of a battle royale game.

While that is happening Vector, Big, and Espio get a grand standing view from a part of the black comet seeing an army of soldiers down towards the city.

Espio: "Dammit. We're too late."

Vector: "we're too late to stop the invasion, but maybe we can save sonic and get him to help us stop these things."

They run through the comet sneaking and hiding trying to find sonic.

Westopolis

A camera is recording. A teenage kid recording.

Teenager: "Okay guys. You aren't gonna believe this but something weird is going on in the sky. Somethings night right."

Teenager: "It could be Aliens dude."

Teenager: "No way."

Teenager: "It could be another invasion like the last one."

The camera is live on social media. The number of people viewing goes up and up.

Teenager: "Wait. What is that?"

They see people falling. A lot. Screaming can be heard. The dumb ones that chose to stay in the city. They all panic.

Teenager: "Yep it's happening again dude. Get to the car man! GET IN THE CAR!"

The 3 rush into the car they start driving. The driver drives. They record people screaming. Cars hitting each other. There's a crazy store owner with a gun ready to defend. GUN troops start preparing. The police department is heavily defended. People start rushing away. They drive the direction people are running from until the oak that leads the Westopolis battle lands on a car in front of them. They stare at it and The black arm oak stares back. It gently grabs the rocket launcher off it's back and loads it.

Teenager: "Drive, Drive!"

He presses on the gas and swerves past it. The black arm fires at them and misses. The explosion hits a wall. They drive as more black arms start landing in the streets. They start shooting civilians raising the casualties. They shoot and gun down innocents. Cops and Gun agents retaliate.

Teenager: "Oh my God! Oh my God!

Teenager: "Holy shit!"

They drive as gun fire everywhere gets hit on their car. Until a car hits them from the side. They flip over and they immediately crawl out. The driver that hit them is dead. Shot in the head and he had his foot on the gas.

Teenager: "Come on we gotta get out of here."

They run down the street where screaming and a lot gunfire can be heard. They turn the corner to see a whole army of bloodthirsty Black arm members ready to kill the three. They turn back while recording everything that's going on. They turn back with GUN troops shooting at them. they get out of the way with the fight and head towards somewhere. A emperor lands onto the Gun Force and slaughter a lot of them. they continue running and another direction black arm troops firing. They're sandwiched in. they turn towards an alley way and run down as the GUN Soldiers scream. They make it towards a fence and one starts climbing. The other looks back to see an emperor staring at them. the second one gets a boost from the third one as the emperor approaches.

Teenager: "Rodney Hurry!"

He starts climbing and gets three claws empailed to his back. he coughs up blood and his grabbed by the legs and rips him apart.

Teenager: "Lets go, lets go!"

They continue running through the streets where gunfire and explosions ring in the sounds of war. They run into a convenient store and hide. The owner walks out with a shotgun ready. the black arms notice and fire at him. he manages to kill one but is riddled with bullets. They walk into the store searching around and the boys run into the back. they kick down the door to see a black arm with an incinerator flamethrower. They run back and find another escape door. The black arm marches towards them as they try to bust down the door. They manage to get it open. And the one with the camera pushes the other out of the way. He falls and lands on his head. He goes dizzy for a moment seeing his buddy running back for him and turning around still recording. He runs away behind a wall and records his buddy and the black arm with the flamethrower.

Teenager: "Please don't hurt me. Please."

The black arm marches and impails him with the gun. He sets ablaze his insides as the kids screams.

Teenager: "No No, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The kid catches it all on camera as he scorches his entire body. He runs away filming the entire hell storm that's happening in the streets. He runs looking at his surroundings and bumps into something big. Something that looks familiar. A black Oak. It reaches down and grapples the boys neck. He drops his phone and stares at the black arm begging for mercy. He reaches his body and rips his head with his spine hanging clean from his body as the camera records.

Central City

Gun Fortress

Over 200 miles away from westopolis, the trio walk back towards Gun fortress. They pass up the café shop they were just at and a large number of people start packing up and ready. Amy notices everyone preparing with their guns and running.

Amy: "What's going on?"

Shadow: "What?"

Shadow looks at the environment. He notices everything too. He looks at a crowd staring into the tv's. Shadow walks fast and checks out the commotion. Amy and Rouge follow. They stand in front seeing the news.

News reporter: We're here live from westopolis as there is another invasion underway in the city. We have monsters massacring the civilians of central city. We're watching as two teenagers record it live on social media. We urge the viewers this is truly graffic content. We need Immediate assistance. This a new world war.

A black oak appears behind the news. He aims his minigun at the crew and kills them all, shooting up the and camera. The tv ends with a technical error moment and everyone scatters. They start heading back home. GUN troops start entering the streets notifying everyone to get home now.

Shadow: "We gotta go back. we need to check on him."

Amy and Rouge: "Right!"

They run back into the base. They enter the whole fortress with troops preparing and scurrying everywhere. General Abraham notices the three.

Shadow: "What's going on?"

Abraham: "It's happening again. I have eyes and guns on that bastard right now. The black comet is heading this way."

Shadow: "The comet?"

Abraham: "Yes the comet. Seems they built a new one."

Shadow heads to the control room and see's the images on. He notices. A black comet and images of westopolis. Amy walks in with rouge and notices. Abraham walks off to get ready and command the troops.

Shadow: "Dammit! You stay here. I gotta go check on him."

Amy: "Okay."

Rouge: "She'll be safe with me."

Shadow runs off towards the elevator. He heads down towards the elevator. He heads down to see cal and a whole group of GUN Soldiers pointing guns at Gloom. He's being held differently. Eggman's trap rings made by eggman industries. Cal looks back to shadow.

Cal: "It's about time you showed up."

Shadow: "Anything happened?"

Cal: "We know the black arms are heading this way. They could be planning an prison break for that asshole in there."

Shadow: "Get me in there."

Cal: "No, I go first. You'll get your turn."

He walks in. he marches to gloom and punches him in the face.

Gloom: "OW!"

Cal: "What are you planning gloom?"

Gloom: "What are you talking about?"

Cal: "Hit it?"

Electric jolts get runned through Glooms body. He jolts and grunts feeling like he was put into an electric chair.

Gloom: "I just woke up. I was sleep."

Cal: "The black arms at this moment is attacking Westopolis. The black Comet just passed and is now heading to central city as we speak. What the fuck do you got palnning?"

Gloom: "Oh that. Wait? What time is it?"

Cal checks his watch

Gloom: "Good. It's almost time."

Cal: "Time for what?"

Gloom: "Oh you'll see. And if you want to know bring in Shadow. I'll tell him everything this time."

Cal signals shadow to walk in.

Shadow walks in. He gets a chair one of the GUN soldiers had. He sits down.

Shadow: "This isn't like what it is last time. not on the ark, nor the island. And if you want to try what you did last time, be my guess."

4 minutes and 01 seconds

Gloom: "Greed. Fear. Anxiety. Power. I guess that's how it works for this planet."

Shadow: *sigh* "such a self-indulgent piece of shit. Stop talking in riddles."

Gloom's tattoos start glowing. Shadow start's glowing as well. It last for a second.

Black Comet

The mystery stands up.

?: "It's almost time."

Sonic: "Time for what?"

The mystery starts glowing a bit. Sonic can see a silhouette through the mystery's helmet.

Sonic: "Huh?"

?: "We'll be leaving soon."

With Gloom and Shadow

Gloom: "the true evil that bounds us is greed, fear, and power. When you start seeing the bigger picture the world is basically yours. Maybe that's what gives us free will? Freedom to complain. Freedom to hate. Freedom to demand. Freedom to consume. I learned this curse from Maria and lord doom. The curse of life. The never ending circle of life. Maybe that's why I was created. I don't trust the world leaders of this planet, the corporate insects that feed off the devine beauty of this world. you got mountains of trash that you don't even know what to do with and you melt polar caps. You drive animals to extinction here ladies and gentlemen. You're all slaves to a world that benefits of you. especially you little brother. The people you're working for tried to kill you time and time again. they call you in whenever they need help. They watch your every move. They shot the most important thing to you. come on. Are you not getting it? Are you not seeing the bigger picture yet? The people of this world are dense. They suck. Maria was smarter than that dickhead sitting in the corner. But what I like about you humans is ambition. You have purpose, willpower but there's a whole lot of others that don't know what to do with it. So that's what I'm here for. To give you people and the world, purpose."

The black comet appears over central city. GUN lock there missles towards it and fire. The comet's defenses blow it all away. The lasers from the comet blow the rest of the missiles out of the sky. Rumbling can be heard in the underground.

Gloom: "Seems like they made it. Which means it's almost time."

Shadow: "Time for what?"

Gloom: "What time is it now?"

30 Seconds left

A call comes up on Cals ear telling him that the president is within the base.

Cal: "Wait the president is in the base?"

Gloom: "Ooohh, he was better off in the white house than he was here."

Shadow: "What are you doing?"

Gloom: "Nothing really?"

With Rouge, Amy, and Abraham in the command center

Abraham: "This way Mr. President."

President: "Declare war. Send worldwide message to prepare their defenses."

Amy: "Hey rouge, Do you smell that?"

Rouge: "Yeah."

With Gloom and Shadow

Gloom: "Y'know what we just did?"

Shadow: "What?"

Gloom: "We striked."

Gloom: "We sent a message about fear."

Gloom: "What true brute strength looks like."

Gloom: "after knowing this plan is working. Now I see the united federations true colors."

Shadow stands up.

Shadow: "If he so much as moves an inch you put a bullet in his head."

Cal pulls out his pistol and aims it at Gloom. Shadow runs to the door and opens it

Gloom starts growing tiny thin spikes around his body. He takes a big breath shoots out the spikes at the right direction towards the men with guns. They fall down and he teleports.

A gunshot is fired towards Gloom whos not even there anymore. He appears behind Cal and knocks him out with a punch. He grabs him and the gun and aims it at the door.

Shadow: "We're under attack. Get the presi-"

A gunshot is fired at the gun soldier who drops dead.

Shadow turns around to see all the dead bodies and a knocked out cal.

Shadow: "What the fu-"

Gloom: "Times Up."

BOOM

Explosions can be seen around the base. The base rocks and rumbles from above.

3 seconds before

Amy is standing next to the president. The camera's can be seen of Gloom on the monitor board. They witness everything that's happening.

Abraham: "Get men down there now!"

Amy: "Oh Shadow!"

Boom

The explosion commences. The base starts blowing up bit by bit. Tanks start getting destroyed. The armory blows up. The walls and Training grounds get demolished. The ground shakes everyone. Killing a lot soldiers within the explosions. The sounds of screams, confusion, and shock fill them as the comet approaches. Amy gets caught within the explosion burning her dress a bit from the bottom. Rouge gets caught in the explosion burning her arm and blowing her away. She gets buried under some debris and metal. Abraham gets blow away saved and blocked off from them. The president gets blown away in the command center.

With Shadow and Gloom

Gloom: "Seems like it's started."

Shadow: "What started?"

Gloom: "The operation. See you around A-hole."

He teleports out of there and shadow runs to check on Cal. He's alive.

Shadow: "DAMMIT!"

Tails Workshop

Tails: "Alright we're set to head towards Central City."

Knuckles: "Awesome."

His phone starts ringing. He answers.

Tails: "Hello?"

Cream: "Tails. Thank goodness I've been trying to call you."

Tails: "Sorry got caught up. Is everything alright?"

Cream: "Are you okay?"

Tails: "Yeah I'm in my workshop why?"

Cream: "Because I thought you were in the united federation. Listen the black arms are attacking."

Tails: "Now?"

Cream: "Now."

Tails: "Okay. Listen I'll be by your house later. I gotta get there."

Cream: "Okay. Stay safe."

He hangs up.

Knuckles: "Who was that?"

Tails: "Friend. Lets just get to central city."

Sally: "Not without me you're not."

Tails: "Sally?"

Knuckles: "Didn't we already risk our lives saving you?"

Sally: "I know but right now the united federation needs us. We gotta get there as soon as possible. If the black arms are there, so is Sonic."

Knuckles: "She has a point."

Tails: "I know the chaotix is there."

Knuckles: "How do you know."

Tails: "They left a note saying they borrowed the tornado 2. We'll take 1."

Silver runs in.

Silver: "Good you made It back."

Tails: "Silver? It's good you came."

Silver: "I assume you already know?"

Tails: "Yeah. We're about to fly there now."

Silver: "Good. I also called blaze. She'll be with Rotor, Bunnie, and Antione and a whole lot of other freedom fighters making their way towards westopolis."

Tails: "We need to get to GUN. Find Shadow and Amy."

Sally: "Yeah. Let's hurry and get there."

He starts revving the plane up. Sally hops in the passenger seat and Knuckles onto the wing. Silver waits for them to take off and starts flying the direction they're heading.

Sally: "Don't worry sonic. We're coming."
