Chapter 51 Epilogue
After that great flash of light Korra and the others were looking for Sean.
"Oh Sean where are you?" Korra asked.
"Don't worry we'll find him soon enough." Hudson said.
Korra walked to a pile of rubble before it began to move making her look before it flew everywhere as Sean came out.
"Well, that sucked." Sean said as Korra pulled him into a hug making him smile as he held her.
"You actually did it. You defeated Alduin." Korra said.
"Yeah. And the Dark Primordial is finally gone." Sean said taking off his hood and mask before Korra widened her eyes which he saw. "What?" Sean asked.
"Sean...Your scars...They're gone!" Korra said in shock seeing his face without them for the first time in her life.
"What?" Sean asked before his metal claws came out before he saw his reflection seeing they were gone before lifting up his shirt seeing the scars all over his body were also gone as well.
"What the hell?" Sean asked.
"Hey!" Turok yelled seeing the slave mark Cinder put on his neck was gone as well while the others saw their marks were also gone. Even Reznov's metal arm was gone replaced by a new natural one.
"You don't think that blast the Primordial let off broke her curse do you?" Korra asked.
"I think that is the most logical answer." Sean said chuckling. "How do I look without them?" Sean asked making her grin.
"Honestly? I kinda liked you better with them." Korra said making him nudge her while she laughed. "Kidding. You look a hundred times better without them." Korra said making him grin as he kissed her.
Soon they arrived back on Air temple island where the kids rushed to their parents making Sean and Korra smile holding them as Pemma handed Katara to Korra who was asleep making Korra smile.
"Finally that fucking mark is gone. I hated it." Turok said making Jinora grin.
"By the way Turok. Isn't there something you wanna ask Tenzin?" Sean asked making him glare while Jinora giggled.
"Ask me what?" Tenzin asked making him sigh.
"Uh...Any chance you'd let me marry your daughter?" Turok asked shocking him completely as the others laughed.
Sean and Korra chuckled before Tenzin fainted backwards making everyone burst out laughing while the kids looked confused.
"Daddy? Why did Uncle Tenzin faint?" Diana asked.
"Um. Certain people have different reactions when it comes to marriage." Sean said.
"Well...I know for a fact you have my approval and I can certainly tell you Tenzin will say yes as well." Pemma said making Jinora squeal in excitement before kissing her fiancé. "But what brought this on instead of waiting two more years?" Pemma asked making them freeze while Sean and Will snickered.
"No reason. We just encouraged them to do it now instead of waiting. This way all of us have someone in our married love lives." Sean said holding Korra close making her giggle at the good cover story.
"Oh I see. Well I still approve." Pemma said making Turok and Jinora grin at each other.
Meanwhile
The Chronicler smiled at he looked at the others through a special orb before he sensed someone.
"I have been expecting you my friend." The Chronicler said as none other than Zaheer arrived.
"So it's over. The Dark Master and the Dark Primordial are gone." Zaheer said.
"Indeed. The world can finally move to a new age. And with that new age comes a new chronicler." The Chronicler said surprising him.
"Who will take your place?" Zaheer asked.
"Simple...You." The Chronicler said shocking him. "Zaheer...You have long redeemed yourself for your actions by making all this possible. I had to let certain events unfold for this outcome to finally end the Dark Master's influence on the world. Believe me I truly wished I could have stopped everything bad that happened to good people. But I had to let them unfold for this outcome. And now it will be your duty to make sure the peace does stay. What better person to take my place than one who has learned from his mistakes." The Chronicler said.
"I...Will accept my position." Zaheer said.
"And do not worry...You will not do it alone as I have. Old friends purged of their former ideals and now will walk the same path you will." The Chronicler said before a bright flash of light appeared showing P'li, Ghazan and Ming-Hua who smiled making him smile back.
"I have waited a long time for someone to take my place. And one day when a new age dawns once more someone will take your place as well." The Chronicler said before he glowed as his gear appeared on Zaheer.
"Well...I wonder what lies ahead." Zaheer said looking through the orb.
Days later
Sean and Korra couldn't stop grinning as Turok lifted the vail on Jinora's head as he kissed her making the crowd cheer.
"Oh now this is a good day after all the crap we had to endure." Sean said making Korra giggle as Jinora threw her flowers in the air making them land in Opal's hands making her blush while Bolin grins.
After that the reception finally began.
"So all four of you are now officially married." Irons said to his sons.
"Yup. And its surprising Turok was the last. My money was on Will since he's had five girlfriends total." Sean said.
"Hey." Will said making Janet giggle.
"So what convinced you two to make him get married anyway so quick?" Asami asked making the two chuckle.
"Um...We caught them in a hotel getting...Intimate." Will said making her giggle.
"Why am I not surprised." David said.
"Speaking of surprises." Asami said placing his hand on her stomach making him widen his eyes before chuckling.
"Aw finally!" Sean yelled making Will burst out laughing.
"Oh this is one surprise I certainly enjoy." David said making her smile before kissing him.
Sean soon found Korra outside the party looking at Republic City where the Battle Spirit portal was at before he approached her.
"I spoke with my dad. He's gonna announce a plan to expand the city rather than Rebuild downtown since it's now owned by the Battle spirits." Sean said.
"I bet Aang never could have imagined there would be a battle spirit portal in the center of Republic City." Korra said looking at it as multiple battle spirits moved what was left of Vlad's army out.
"Korra, you've transformed the world more ways in a few short years than most Avatars of your kind did during their life time. And that is something I'm proud of you for. You helped me regain my faith and the other Avatars as well. And gave me a reason to fight." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him holding his finally non scarred face.
"I know. But being immortal theres so much more I wanna do and learn. We have all the time in the world now." Korra said making him grin.
"You will in time. Now that the Dark Primordial is gone all of man's evil has gone with it. Mankind is finally at peace. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if the Task force gets disbanded because of this." Sean said making her smile.
"You think that means you'll be staying home a lot more lately for good this time?" Korra asked.
"I don't doubt it this time." Sean said making her smile before frowning. "Whats wrong?" Sean asked.
"I know I was in a very dark place while you were dead for three years...But thinking back...Maybe it didn't just make me stronger but more compassionate to others like Vlad. To know what true suffering was." Korra said.
"Sometimes legends have gone through great suffering to become what they are. My Great Grandfather, Miraak, Me and my generation and now you. It helped us become what we are today." Sean said making her smile as she held him close.
"I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too. And I promise from this point on nothing bad will ever happen again." Sean said as someone pulled their legs making them look down seeing Junior and Diana with the former holding Katara making them smile as they picked them up.
"Can we go? I don't like weddings." Junior asked making Korra giggle.
"He does take after me when I was his age." Korra said making him grin.
"I would not be surprised he'll take more after you when he gets older." Sean said making her giggle.
10 years later
At the Pro bending area which had grown greatly in the last 10 years was a large crowd of people.
In the last ten years conflict was gone as mankind was finally free from the evil of the Dark Primordial.
Technology had improved greatly in those years to making almost anything possible.
Right now the area was engulfed in light as a large crowd was in along with several cameras to broadcast it world wide.
"Folks tonight is the championship match. After dozens of highly trained Pro Benders playing the last few days we can finally get to the main event."
"In one corner we have the new wolf bats."
The Wolf bats soon came out looking all smug before people booed them which annoyed them.
"Clearly folks the name is still in bad taste since what happened 16 years ago when the original team was caught cheating and bribing the Refs. Fortunately everything is now observed by machine."
Several flying robots were seen above viewing the match for any signs of cheating.
"And now in the other corner we have the return of the legendary Fire Ferrets."
The crowd cheered wildly as three people came out.
And one of these people was none other than Junior who grinned at the crowd.
Junior had taken more after his mother when it came to her likes such as Pro bending.
In one of the private booths was his family watching.
"KNOCK THEIR SMUG FACES OFF HONEY!" Korra yelled making him chuckle.
"Oh mom." Junior said.
"Korra. Relax." Sean said placing her back down as he held her 10 month pregnant stomach making her giggle.
"Sorry. I kinda got a little excited there." Korra said before looking down seeing a five year old boy who had her skin texture, hair and eyes making her smile picking up her second son Vlad. Korra had changed over the last 10 years with her hair now let loose which now reached her back.
"Honestly mom I would think you would take it easy in your condition." Diana said looking more like her mother in her teen years.
"Oh don't lecture me honey. I get excited watching Pro Bending and seeing your brother do it makes me more excited." Korra said grinning.
"She's got a point." Katara said with her hair in a single pony tail.
"Tonight folks it'll be almost like 16 years ago with the son of two Avatars taking his mother's place."
"Uh Junior we got a plan for these guys?" His Earth bending teammate asked.
"There you go again. You always go on about a plan." His Fire bending teammate said.
"Will you idiots knock it off." Junior said before the match began and the two got knocked out in seconds making his eyes twitch.
"You gotta be kidding me." Korra said in disbelief.
"How did Junior get these guys as teammates?" Diana asked.
"I have no idea." Sean said.
"Idiots. Oh well." Junior said grinning as he went on the offensive dodging their attacks before using waterbending to knock one of them out of the ring.
"Oh and Junior is on the offensive."
"Just because you're the son of two Avatars don't think your special freak." One of the Wolfbats said before getting knocked out by Junior.
"I don't use that as an excuse dumbass." Junior said as he and the leader used waterbending on each other.
"So tell me. How does it feel being related to the guy who trashed the city 10 years ago?" The Leader mocked making Junior growl before water bending him in the balls making him squeal in shock as he flew out of the ring.
"And we have a winner! The Fire Ferrets win the Championship finals. Just like 16 years ago all over again."
Junior cheered as he waved at the crowd.
"WHOO-HOO!" Korra cheered
Soon Junior came to his family who congratulated him.
"Oh I'm so proud." Korra said hugging her son.
"Oh mom." Junior said rubbing his head.
"Nice work son." Sean said patting his back making him chuckle.
Walking out of the Arena they saw the others.
David and Asami with their daughter Ashley who greatly resembled her mother but had her father's light blue eyes. Also in Asami's arms was a baby boy. That was their 4 month old son James who while had his father's hair had his mother's green eyes.
Also there was Turok and his wife who held a baby girl in her arms. This was Catori who's name meant spirit. She had her mother's hair and eye color but her father's skin texture.
"Nice going buddy." David said making him chuckle.
"Yeah your definitely Korra's son all right." Turok said.
"Hey." Korra said annoyed making them laugh before.
"RESTART THE EQUALIST MOVEMENT!"
This made all of them freeze.
"Oh no you gotta be kidding me." Junior said seeing the bloody peasant who looked very old compared to the last time he saw him when he was still a baby.
Naga growled at him.
"Easy girl." Korra said holding her close.
"It's you guys again. You and your evil family cannot silence me!" The Peasant said.
"Evil?" Diana asked.
"How are we evil?" Katara asked.
"Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't your cousin Vlad the one who destroyed the City 10 years ago. And you both named your little evil son after him." The Peasant said making Vlad cry which made Korra growl as she picked him up.
"WHY YOU!" Junior yelled before turning into his battle spirt form and glared at him making him widen his eyes.
"Mommy."
Junior roared at him loudly his clothes shredded leaving him in pink hearted boxers.
"Oh my god." Sean said chuckling while the others burst out laughing.
"Run your mouth ever again and I'll crush you." Junior said before grabbing him and threw him into the ocean making him scream in fear.
Shaking his head Junior shrunk down.
"I'm so proud of you honey." Korra said making Junior grin.
"Thanks mom." Junior said.
"Now lets...AHHH!" Korra yelled holding her waist.
"Mom whats wrong?" Diana asked.
"I think...My water just broke." Korra said.
"Figures." Sean said picking her up as Katara got Vlad.
Soon Korra was in the hospital in a hospital gown.
"Easy honey." Sean said as she was placed down.
"Oooh. After doing this four times before you'd think I would be ready for the Fifth." Korra said making him chuckle.
"I don't think even if you did this a dozen times it would make it any different." Sean said making her giggle lightly.
Soon enough the doctors were ready for her to deliver as she started breathing heavily.
"AHHHH!" Korra screamed as she pushed hard before she heard soft crying making her sigh in relief it was over.
"How many do you want?" Sean asked making her smile.
"Whatever life gives me." Korra said making him chuckle before the baby wrapped in a pink blanket was brought to her.
She had her father's white skin with her hair but as she opened her eyes she had in one eye her father's green eyes while the other had her mother's blue eyes.
"Hmm. Two eye colors. Thats a new one." Sean said making Korra giggle as she kissed her forehead making her giggle before the kids were allowed in.
"Aww." Diana said.
"Two eye colors. Thats kinda rare." Junior said with Vlad on his shoulders.
"Yeah." Sean said.
"Whats her name?" Katara asked making them smile.
"Meet your baby Sister Cinder." Korra said as Cinder laughed at her family.
Soon enough the kids left so Korra could recover as she held her new daughter who slept peacefully.
"I love you." Sean said kissing her making her smile.
"I love you too." Korra said as he held her close as Cinder yawned in her sleep making them smile.
For 10 years Sean's family had known no more troubles since Alduin was defeated and forgiven for his crimes against Humanity and since the Dark Primordial was defeated.
Korra's parents like her would live forever as would all within the family.
After the first year of peace the Task Force was disbanded since there were no more missions that required their skills. So they helped passed down those skills to the next generation if an event was ever needed.
As for Sean and Korra the world didn't need them nearly as much as they did 10 years ago which to them was good. It gave them all the time they could ever want to spend with their children.
A new age had finally taken place.
An age of peace and prosperity the likes of which had never been seen.
For Sean and Korra and their friends and family.
Life was perfect.
And when and if Humanity ever needed them again they would be there.
Authors Note: And with that ladies and gentlemen...The Avatars of Old comes to an end. I'm not as sad as I was when the Avatar's protector ended but I'm still sad it ended. Oh well. By the way Sora you can kiss all your requests goodbye for that last review you gave saying my stories in this series weren't good. That pissed me off royally. Your lucky I even do your requests period and you don't appreciate that period I've had it Either appreciate what you get like everyone else or don't say anything.
