"Three days is up, Petra. Are our newest recruits finished with their training?"

"I'm sure Halloween and Weasel will be out at any moment, Phantom." Petra replies just as the doors to one of the gates open. Nathan comes flying out, quickly followed by Mizore, Yoko, Temari, Xenovia and Tayuya. Halloween just slowly floats up slowly.

"Training is finished and I must say they are quite strong. The abilities from their world are akin to that of Ärm. If the ones that Weasel is training are as strong as these six, we should be able to achieve our goals."

The other gates swing open as weasel and the rest of the crew ascend from them." Phantom just laughs, " I guess I did come at the right time. Since your group emerged first Halloween, I will be the first to assign your group ranks.

"We currently have five Knight positions opened, four Bishop positions, three Rook positions and of course Pawn positions are always open."

"Very well, then Nathan I hereby grant you the title 8th strongest Knight. "Halloween says as Phantom hands Nathan a ring with a Knight chess piece on it. "Mizore, 9th strongest Knight! Xenovia 10th strongest Knight! Yoko, 21st strongest Bishop! 22nd strongest Bishop! Tayuya 46th strongest Rook."

Petra then walked over to Weasel, who takes the first Knight ring." Kojika, 11th strongest Knight! Temari, 12th strongest Knight! Zac, 23rd strongest Bishop! Baby 5, 24th strongest Bishop! Levy, 47th strongest Rook! Perona 48th strongest Rook!"

The weird ball on the end of Phantom's weapon speaks again." Welcome to the Chess no Koma, while you were training we started our crusade. Over the course of the next few days we are going to attack key locations around Mar Haven, before officially declaring war. The twelve of you are to stay in the same groups you trained in and carry out attacks."

The demon pirate all nod as the strange weapon continues talking." I will provide you all with your own rooms while you stay here."

"Thank you your majesty… " Nathan says remembering that this them saying that the strange presence was the king"... But due to my special abilities we only really need one room. Each of my crewmates has their own room within my castle body. "Nathan says as pulls his crew into the castle.

"Quite the impressive dimensional Ärm. " The king says, staring at Nathan.

"It's not a dimensional Ärm your majesty. It's a power from my own world."

Meanwhile inside castle Arystar

"First how was everyone's training?" Nathan says directing attention to Akane's group.

It was great! In more ways than one, " Akane says glaring over at Kojika.

Nathan takes note of this but decides to bring it up later. " Anyway for now we do as they say and attack the locations they give us, but try to limit the amount of casualties. Now does anyone wanna show off their new abilities?"

"Aye Cap'n I will, " Zac says raising his hand.

"Any volunteers to fight him?"

Tayuya is the one to step forward," I'll fight you, fish boy!"

Once inside the training hall ,Tayuya pulls out her flute and quickly summons her Doki. " Guardian Ärm: Pipe Organ Golem." As she yells as the ring on her finger disappears and a female humanoid looking pipe organ appears.

" Attack Organa!"

The pipe organ Golem charges as Tayuya starts playing her flute, causing her Doki to charge as well.

Zac drops into a fighting stance, ready to take on Tayuya's summons. He knew the biggest problem would be Organa, because his Fishman Karate would have little to no effect on the construct of wood and metal.

The Doki charge along with Organa, Zac dodges the golem before turning to the Doki in the green suit. "Electric Brick Fist! "

The electrified punch slams straight into the gut of the Monstrous humanoid. The blow doesn't dispel it but stuns it, the shirtless one then smashes down on Zac with incredible force. Zack just barely manages to dodge as he's blasted from behind the sound waves of loud pipe organ music.

The Blast from the sound waves push Zac straight into the Doki, that's wrapped in bandages with the needles coming out of his head. It simply puts down its head and impales Zac with the needles, luckily he had softened the blow with his Haki.

Zac quickly recovers from the attack, and lands in a handstand position pivoting and smacking bandaged one with a slight twist of his waist. "1000 volt brick kick."

The kick attack hits the Doki right in the stomach causing a small indentation before it poofs into smoke. Tayuya seethes slightly at Zac for taking out one of her Doki as she changes the melody she was playing on her flute. The change causes Organa and the Doki to get more aggressive in their attacks.

The two remaining Doki charge, but Zac sprays them with water from his water Ärm before sending off electrified water droplets at them" Electric Shark Darts!"

Just as the electrified water droplets leave Zac's hand, he is hit in the face with what looks to be keys to an organ. He quickly tenses his body into a guarded position and looks around. Organa is rapidly firing piano keys like a machine gun straight at him. His shark darts however hit the two remaining Doki taking out the club and the green suit. The shirtless one gets temporarily stunned from the electrical attack.

Zac moves closer to Tayuya and before she can react he hits her with a punch. "1000 Brick Fist!"

She collapses to the ground, "looks like I win red."

"You're tough as shit, you fish bastard!"

"Nah Tayuya, don't sell yerself short.

Ya did amazin'!"

"Would anyone else's like to duel?"

Nathan asks, looking at his crew and taking note of one small detail, Akane and Kojika are holding hands.

"I will! "Yoko says, stepping forward as she quickly pulls her rifle.

"I'll go," says Akane as she steps to the middle of the room.

"Didn't the two of you fight during the chunin exams back on the Ninja Islands?" Temari asks.

"Oh yea, we did!"

If I remember correctly I beat you pretty badly. "

"No, I surrendered because I knew I couldn't win, but this time you won't get such an easy win this time."

"Right! Ready when you are!"

Yoko grabs her pistols from the holsters on her thighs and takes swift aim then fires a light barrage of electric pulse bullets. Akane I had anticipated that Yoko was going to start and easily dodges out of the way. She charges straight at Yoko as she readies a punch. Yoko does a backflip as she easily avoids being pounded into the ground by one of Akane's punches. Akane's fist makes contact with the floor causing a small crater.

While still in the air, Yoko shoots her pistols at akane. The electrical bullets hit Akane point blank, giving her almost no time to react. She is stunned for a moment but quickly shakes it off before Yoko is able to attack again. She charges at Yoko as she focuses her demonic energy into her Ärm. The purple gem in the ring on her right hand starts to grow faintly. She manages to punch Yoko straight in the face as she yells, "Darkness Ärm: Leech Life."

Small amount of purple energy forms around Akane's hand. As the attack makes contact with Yoko's face, she starts to feel her strength leaving her. Thinking quickly she activates an Ärm that Halloween had given her during the training."Weapon Ärm: ring dagger," she yells as she stabs Akane in the side. She made sure not to hit any vital organs but the wound would take a toll on Akane. The attack was more or less just to get Akane away from her and it worked.

Akane however backflips the dagger still stuck in her side. She lands on her hands and does a spin kick, smacking Yoko in the face a couple of times with her feet. After a couple of spins, sge pivots on her feet and does about two backflips landing upright.

Akane notices the small stream of blood running down Yoko's face. She had to end this quickly, as the site and smell of the blood was making her thirsty. While she was taking in the smell of the fresh blood, she is blasted in the face by a shot from Yoko's pistols." Give up Akane!"

The vampire girl weighs her options. She hadn't drank anything in a few days and her hunger was starting to take its toll. She was afraid that if this battle went on in longer she might end up doing something she regrets and drinking her friend. She quickly nods as she concedes the point to her fellow red-head.

Akane leaves the battlefield walking up right to Kojika. " Would you like some blood my sweet?" Kojika asks Akane approaches.

"Yes, I would," she says as Kojika pulls her kimono off her shoulder. Akane stares at her neck for a second, before moving in and biting down the vein of her neck. Akane silently drinks from Kojika, who has a look of bliss on face, almost as if she was enjoying it. After a few moments Akane stops and Yoko quickly returns the dagger to its ring d

form.

Holy Ärm: Dragon's Breath!" Levy yells as she casts a healing spell from her holy Ärm.

"Did you drink your fill my sweet?" Kojika asks.

"Yes, thank you my love!"

Nathan takes note of the things they called each other and decides to just bite the bullet and ask. "So umm… Akane, Kojika, are you two….?"

Together! Yes we are, which brings to the thing I wanted to ask you. Can you make Kojika and I share a room in the castle? We talked it over with Levy and she is completely okay with it. She doesn't mind having her own room so we can be together."

"So I take the two of you hooked up during your training."

"Yes," Kojika replies. " Since time is a lot slower in those training gates we had a lot of time to talk in our downtime. Akane and I got to talking and then in the middle of a conversation she… she kissed me. I felt like pushing her away, but didn't. I actually found myself to be enjoying the kiss. It was my first and after that we started getting closer… " Kojika blushes heavily.

"Say no more Kojika I understand and I'm happy for the two of you. You both found love and that is one of life's greatest gifts. Now let's get that room changed!"

Nathan says as a hallway appears in the wall next to them. He walks down the hallway followed by Kojika and Akane." Okay girls, how would you like your room to look?" He says, stopping in front of Kojika's room.

The girls tell Nathan what they want and he creates it. The design they had chosen was a traditional wano style decor with a few large bookshelves, and a desk to the side. The bed was a king size bed with red sheets. The headboard had two Rook shaped corners and the footboard had Pawn shaped ones. Nathan puts the personalized Jolly Rogers he had made them above the headboard.

"Well girls how do you like it?" Nathan asks.

"We love it!" They both say in unison.

"You're welcome girls and again I'm glad you found love in each other."

As Nathan approaches the throne, the king says, "call forth the rest of your group."

Nathan nods as he uses his powers, and calls forth his crew.

"Very well Arystar, take your group and head for port Lencha. Shikahiro take your half and head to the town of Elto."

"Yes your majesty!" Everyone says at the same time.

Two portals open on either side of the king."The portal on my left leads to port Lencha and my right leads to Elto."

As Kojika and her group step up to the portal, Phantom stops them. "Take this! It's a dimensional Ärm that will bring you back to the castle. Use it to return here when you are finished!"

Right! Thank you Phantom-san!" Kojika replies as she takes the Ärm from him. She quickly steps into the portal followed by Akane, Zac, Levy, Temari, and Perona.

Back in the Chess castle Petra stares into his crystal ball. Using its power he protects his image across giant dimensional screens.

"People of Mär Haven, this is a declaration of war! We are known as the Chess no Koma and we are here to cleanse this land. As I speak our forces are attacking all of the towns and cities across Mär Haven."

The screen changes to show various different locations across land. The screen shows towns and cities burning to the ground. People being stuck down in cold blood across the land.

"This is but a small demonstration of our power. However we are not unreasonable, so we will give you a fighting chance. We are holding a battle tournament, the War Games if you would.

The royal family of castle Rosendale has so graciously allowed us to use their castle as our base of operations. You have one week to gather your forces. So if you intend to fight, please bring your strongest fighters to Rosendale. we eagerly await for your response and I hope to see Mar Haven's first official war games."
