SmackDown: 25/12/2009
Friday Night SmackDown was live at the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida. Tonight sees The Undertaker defending his World Heavyweight Championship against the Bladewolf, who won a Triple Threat match last week to earn the right to face the Deadman tonight.
In the arena...
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Devil's Wolf plays to a loud pop as the lights change to the sinister, blood red and out comes the Bladewolf on his own. It seems he did not want Trish out here while facing the Undertaker. Bladewolf walks down the ramp and enters the ring where eh takes his coat off, followed by his metallic Predator-style mask. He dumps them outside the ring and paces back and fourth as he stares at the stage.
The bell tolls and the Undertaker's theme plays. Soon enough, the Phenom appears and starts his walk down the ramp towards the ring. It's a walk that intimidates lesser men, but Bladewolf was far from intimidated or scared of his brother. The Undertaker pauses at the end of the ramp, staring at his brother coldly befor ehe walks up the steps and enters the ring.
Undertaker takes his coat off, followed by his hat. Undertaker stares at Bladewolf as he hands the World Heavyweight Championship to the referee. The referee holds the title up before handing it to someone at ringside then calls for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
As soon as the bell rung, The Undertaker and Bladewolf go back and fourth in a slugfest with each other until Bladewolf begins winning as he unleashes a fury of right hooks onto the Deadman and gets him against the ropes. Bladewolf goes for an Irish whip but the Undertaker reverses it and sends Bladewolf into the ropes, goes for an elbow which connects and sends the 10-time World Champion down. Bladewolf rolls out the ring and leans against the barricade, briefly adjusting his mask.
Bladewolf slides into the ring only to be clotheslined over the top rope by his older brother. Bladewolf shakes his head as he gets to his feet and climbs onto the ring apron, Undertaker going to grab him but Bladewolf brings the Deadman's head into the ropes which sends the Undertaker stumbling back, allowing Bladewolf to roll into the ring.
Bladewolf jumps off with a diving clothesline and takes the Undertaker down. Bladewolf goes for the cover but the Undertaker kicks out at two. Bladewolf begins hammering away at his older brother's forehead, backing off when the referee gives him a warning and rolls his eyes about it before he rebounds off the ropes and goes for a leg drop which connects.
Bladewolf picks the Undertaker up and gets him into the corner where he begins stomping away on the Deadman repeatedly, stopping when the referee reached four, then repeated his action, stopping again at four. Bladewolf flipped his hair back and briefly adjusted his elbow pads then runs and drives his knee into the Undertaker. Bladewolf keeps this up before he backs off then runs at Undertaker but is met with an elbow to the face.
Bladewolf backs off and Undertaker takes him down from behind and drops an elbow across his back before going for the cover but Bladewolf kicks out at two. Undertaker punches his brother in the masked face before he headbutts him, then gets to his feet, rebounds off the ropes and goes for the leg drop...but Bladewolf sat up! Undertaker hit the mat hard and he grunts in pain a she got to his feet and turns around into a heavy right shot from the Bladewolf, who backs Undertaker into the corner and drives his shoulder into Undertaker's stomach a few times before he pulls Undertaker close and hits a belly-to-belly suplex.
Bladewolf gets to a knee and stand sup before walking over to his brother and grabs him by the hair, pulling him to his feet when Undertaker starts fighting back with a fury of rights, backing Bladewolf up into the corner. Undertaker runs and hits a turnbuckle clothesline, runs back and hits the turnbuckle clothesline again, then again, then again. Bladewolf stumbled forward, only to be scooped up onto Undertaker's shoulder...AND HIT WITH SNAKE EYES! Undertaker rebounds off the ropes as Bladewolf turns around...INTO A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE! Undertaker rebounds off the ropes,..AND FOLLOWS IT UP WITH THE LEG DROP ACROSS THE THROAT! UNDERTAKER HOOKS THE LEG! ONE! TWO! THRE-! Bladewolf kicks out at two!
SmackDown goes to commercial.
*After the commercial break*
SmackDown returns from the break to see the Undertaker now in control of the match as he has a headlock applied on his brother who is trying to fight out of it, punching and kicking about but the Undertaker has the hold locked in. Undertaker pulls Bladewolf into a sitting position and tightens the hold but Bladewolf starts fighting back as he slowly gets to his feet then backs Undertaker into the corner, but the World Heavyweight Champion quickly shoves Bladewolf forward and he turns around...INTO A GOOZLE!
Undertaker has his brother by the throat! Looking for a Chokeslam! Bladewolf kicks his brother in the stomach, then uppercuts him. Undertaker stumbles back and Bladewolf clotheslines him over the top rope and down to the floor. Undertaker lands on his feet, grabs his brother by his ankles and drags him out the ring, the two slugging it out with each other like two brothers fighting over who gets to be the better man. Undertaker lands a heavy right shot to the Bladewolf's stomach, then elbows him in the side of the head before he bounces his skull off the ring apron, sending the 10-time World Champion to his knees.
Undertaker drags his brother over to the announce table and rams his head off the table, then hangs him over the ring apron befor ehe gets onto the aprin, jumps up...AND HITS THE LEG DROP! VINTAGE UNDERTAKER!
Bladewolf rolls into the ring and the Undertaker follows him. Undertaker raises his right hand, signalling a Chokeslam is looming. Bladewolf uses the topes to pull himself to his feet and turns around...INTO A GOOZLE! Undertaker lifts his brother up...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!
Undertaker started to do the cutthroat taunt...WHEN HE'S ATTACKED BY BATISTA!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Undertaker and Batista slug it out until Batista whips Undertaker into the ropes...AND SPEARS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! Batista looks to see Bladewolf getting to his feet and he turns around...INTO A SPINEBUSTER!
rey Mysterio runs down the ramp, slides into the ring...AND DROPKICKS BATISTA INTO THE ROPES! Mysterio runs...AND HITS 619! Mysterio then leaps...AND HITS A SEATED SENTON!
Mysterio backs out the ring and up the ramp as all three men are down and laid out. Bladewolf was angry and frustrated he didn't win, and that Batista dared to interfere in his business...
And that's it for this chapter.
