Chapter 53
Ana
At the sound of the elevator arriving Ana stood waiting for her family to walk in this wasn't going to be the kind of dinner party were you could eat and then tell them why they were here after a few glasses of wine this was the kind were she just had to tell them because one look at the twins and they would freak straight away.
They all walked in looking around at everyone who was already here Christian had the twins in the other room until everyone was sat down. "Hi Ana what's going on why are Mom and Dad here?" Izzy started to look a little panicked as she spoke.
"Honey why don't you take a seat. I just want to let everyone know no one is sick or dying or anything like that ok so get those thoughts out of your head." Everyone sat looking up at her expectantly even the children looked a little scared. Huldah was sat holding Carla's hand. Ray on her other side holding her other one. Christians all of brothers along with Artemis and Apollo sat around the room on the dining chairs they had brought in.
"Christian bring the twins in." He came in holding each of their hands, when Ana looked back at her family she could see the shock that quickly morphed into fear. The twins came over and held Ana's hands. All three of them started to glow as Ana used her magic to amplify the twins magic so they could help her family at the same time rather than individually before they all went into full blown panic. The room got bright as they showed all of them what the twins had showed Ray everyone's eyes glowing.
Once they had finished it was Elliot who stood up holding Ella. "Ana I know you have a strict no cursing in front of the children but WHAT. THE. FUCK. JUST. HAPPENED?" They knew that just because they had helped it didn't mean they wouldn't still be scared.
"Elliot please sit down so that we can explain everything." He sat reluctantly but she could hear that he just wanted to get his family and leave.
The twins ran over to Ray and Carla jumping up on their knees and she saw as her family moved away from them a little it broke Ana's heart. She felt Christian stood next to her and she could feel his rage at them moving. She turned to him placing her hand on his face. "Christian don't be angry they are scared we knew they would be so please try to understand." He took a deep breath turned his head so that he could kiss her hand nodding his head.
He stepped forward to talk to everyone. "I need to say before we tell you why you are here and what is going on. I don't want any shouting it will scared the children and none of us want that and before you say anything just because the twins have powers it doesn't make them any less likely to get scared by shouting than your children Elliot, they are after all still children." She knew that he had heard Elliot's thoughts about the twins not being scared.
Everyone looked at Christian waiting for him to continue. "My name is not Christian." He took a deep breath then spoke again "My name is Lucifer."
"Lucifer as in 'the' fucking Lucifer." Benji was moving further away on the sofa as he spoke.
"Yes Benji I am 'the' Lucifer." Benji stood at this and started to walk to the elevator but was blocked by Beal.
"I want to leave I am not listening to this bullshit Ana you need to leave him he is fucking crazy."
Christian stepped towards Ana before he burst into his other form his patience gone at being called crazy and at the thought of her leaving him. "I assure you Benji I am not crazy and what we are telling you is very fucking real now sit the fuck down and let us finish." He kept his voice low and controlled for the sake of the children although he should probably not have changed into his other form as she was sure when she looked at the children they would be scared.
"Christian baby please I need you to be calm and I need you to..." She was just about to tell him to change when she heard one of the children speak.
"Oh wow Mommy look he has wings how cool is that. Aunty Ana do you have wings?" She looked around Christians huge body to see all the children looking at Christian smiling excitedly. Well she hadn't expected that response. It was only the adults who looked scared, she saw Benji being led back to the sofa by Beal.
"Yes I do sweetie but I can't show you them right now maybe later after we talk ok Ava honey." She smiled before Mia spoke.
"Do the twins have wings?" Ana looked over to the twins nodding to them Ana knew all of the things they could do she had seen it all when she watched the vision she gave her family. They jumped down of Carla and Rays knees and let their little wings burst from their backs. They were a brilliant white that glowed. She looked around the room seeing every ones reactions and they were all in shock and awe at the beauty in front of them all except Mia and Jamie who looked angry.
"Mia, Jamie what's wrong?" She looked at Ray who was looking at them confused.
"It's not fair why do they get wings and we don't it not fair Mommy. I want wings too." Mia was sulking and Jamie was sat next to her nodding his head in agreement with his sister. Carla was the next to talk getting everyone's attention.
"Well about that Izzy sweetheart my real name is Dione I am your Mother but I am also a Titaness which means as my children you are not entirely human and neither are my Grandchildren." Ana looked over to Izzy who was looking at her with tears in her eyes.
"So then what are we are me and Ana Titaness's as well? Are my children?" Ana stepped towards her sister.
"Izzy honey I need to tell you something else and I know this is all a lot but it's important you know everything. We don't have the same father you are part Human my father however is a fallen angel called Samyaza. So while you are half Titaness you are also half human. I was a demi- goddess I swear honey I have only known all of this for a few weeks."
"Wait what do you mean you 'was' a demi-goddess?" It was Kate who asked sitting forward a little.
"I was killed... She was stopped by Benji shouting and standing up again.
"WHAT THE FUCK WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WERE KILLED." She sat on the sofa feeling exhausted.
"Let me finish and please do not shout. As you can all see I am fine I was brought back by Zeus." She stopped talking and flinched waiting for their reactions. She had to admit she was a little shocked when she didn't hear anyone talking. The more she told them the more the whole thing sounded crazy and if it hadn't happened to her she never would have believed it herself.
Looking up at everyone they were all sat with their mouths hanging open and the children looking confused it actually looked so comical. "He gave me an offer, He would bring me back if I agreed to become his Queen not in the I will marry him sense just in the I would become the protector of The humans sense. I agree because I wanted to live I had just had the babies I wanted to marry Christian I would do anything for that so I said yes."
Izzy was looking confused again "So what are you now?" Ana inwardly cringed at what she was about to say.
"I am technically a Goddess and soon I will be the Queen of hell, but that doesn't change me as a person I am still your sister I am still the person you guys grew up with I just have a few powers that's all some of them are really cool, and well that brings me to the next thing." They all looked like they were scared to hear what would come next.
"Izzy as you have been told you and the kids. You're not human you do have powers locked away inside of you and it is my job to find the key to unlocking them for you I have already found the power for one of you and I need to give it to her." Izzy looked at Mia then Ava terrified.
"What will it do, whose is it I don't think I am ok with this Ana these are my babies." She wanted so badly to hug her sister and make her feel better.
"I don't have a choice Izzy it's not my power to keep it needs to go to it's rightful owner. I am so sorry, it won't hurt her I swear I would never hurt them you know that." She took a deep breath before talking again. "Ava sweetie I need you to come here please sweetheart." Ava looked at her Mom terrified and Ana couldn't help the tears that fell from her eyes. When she didn't move Ana stood moving the table out of her way with a thought and knelt down in front of Ava "Do you want to stay with your Mommy?" She nodded and Ana smiled holding her hand. "Very well sweetheart. Ray I need you to take Elliot Benji and Kate out of the room you cannot see me when I change and I need to change for what I am about to do." She couldn't take her eyes of Ava. She saw in the corner of her eyes Elliot shaking his head as he spoke.
"Ana I am not leaving my wife and children you can just fucking change in front of me I am not scared."
She looked over at him needing him to see the seriousness in her next words. " Elliot it is not about me thinking you will fear me in my true form, if it was I wouldn't have asked you to leave." He interrupted her his anger growing.
"Then why can't I stay?"
"Because Elliot it will kill you, you are human seeing me in my true form will kill you. Now I need you to leave being this close to her now that I have come into my own powers her power within me can sense it's owner and it wants out."
She could feel herself changing and she couldn't stop it. "CHRISTIAN GET THEM OUT NOW I CAN'T STOP THE CHANGE." He and his brother shimmered them all out in time. She stood as her true form burst through, the room turning bright thanks to her glowing form. She looked down at her family Izzy looking at her with her mouth wide open which seemed to be the normal reaction today. Her nieces and nephew all sat with smiles and wide eyes all apart from Ava who was still looking scared.
She knelt in front of her again wanting to take her fear away. "Sweetheart this will not change you, it will not hurt you I will never let anything hurt you. Do you believe me?" She nodded her head tears streaming down her face. She looked so much younger than she was and it was breaking Ana's heart.
"I'm scared Aunty Ana what if I scare people or what if my family don't love me anymore. Will it make me ugly. What about my friends at school will I kill them because they are human. I am really really scared." She was sobbing now and Ana could feel the tears leaving hot tracks down her own face just seeing her niece so scared.
"Ava honey I need you to listen and really hear me ok. You will not scare anyone and your family will love you no matter what happens in your life." Ava looked up at Izzy who was crying when Izzy nodded in agreement Ana carried on. "As for you being ugly sweetheart that is not possible your soul alone makes you so incredibly beautiful. As for your face you are stunning, and will be in any form, I promise you. Your last worry about your friends Ava sweetie you won't kill them the reason it is dangerous for humans to see me is because of what I am. However baby girl you cannot tell them what you are. I know it may be cool having new powers and you will want to show your friends what you can do but you can't sweetheart. You can show your family we would love to see your powers developing but the humans can not know do you understand me sweetheart?" She nodded her head in agreement.
Christian came to sit next to Ava "Ana there are things that can be done to make sure that the children don't tell anyone so don't worry about that. We understand that not telling someone at such a young age is a huge responsibility for them. We will make sure to take that burden from them." He was looking at Izzy when he said this.
With a big sigh she turned back to Ava "Ok Ava honey are you ready?" Ava shrank back a little but nodded. "Good girl I am so proud at how brave you are and how much of a big girl you are."
Once she finished speaking she smiled and with out further warning she placed her hand on Ava's head and watched as Ava's eyes lit up her mouth opened and white light shot out of her. Ana could feel the power flowing from inside of her into Ava and it was a strong fucking power. What ever Ava was to become was going she was going to be incredibly powerful.
When she finished Ava shoulders dropped her head falling down like she had lost all of her energy. Izzy was holding her crying and shaking. "Ana what's happened what's wrong?" Ana reached over and held her sisters hand smiling.
"Nothing give her a minute she has a lot of power inside her now some I have just given her and some that was already inside her that the new power has just unlocked her body is adjusting that's all I promise."
She stood back and changed herself back "Could someone bring in the other's the next thing we have to tell them concerns them."
A few seconds later they all walked in the room Elliot going straight to Ava.
"Is she ok?" At his words Ava lifted her head smiling her eyes a few shade lighter than her usual blue almost grey much like the colour of Christians.
"How do you feel Ava" Ana couldn't stop smiling with the pride she was feeling.
"I feel fine just weird I don't know how to explain it but I promise Mommy and Daddy this is so cool I feel awesome." Izzy sagged with relief knowing her daughter was ok Elliot just smiled.
"Ok Kate, Benji and Elliot we have more to say that concerns only you. We have been given two options for you by Zeus. We have already spoken to Ray but he doesn't want to make a decision until we have spoken to you. You have the choice to live out your lives happy and healthy and human or... you can be made immortal and powerful. I need to tell you though if you choose to stay human you will be removed from our lives and your memory of us all will be gone. You will be kept safe but you won't be able to stay in our lives." She finished this on a sob at the idea of losing any of her family.
"Why do we have to leave your lives if we stay human that's not fucking fair." It was Benji who spoke outraged.
"You can't because of who we are, we have enemies Benji enemies that will come after those we love to get to us. Enemies that we are, as we speak protecting from you. Sam my P.A was killed and who ever killed her is currently pretending to be her and has been for some time. We don't know who she is but she is strong and she will come for you. As much as we are happy to keep protecting you all we can't. Christians brothers all have duties they have to get back to in Hell. Christian has to rule over the demons, I have to protect not just you but every Human on earth I also have to look for Izzy's, Mia's and Jamie's powers. All while raising twins who have come into new powers today. I will have to walk Ava through her new life. So the only other option that makes sense is to make you immortal and give you powers to protect yourself or get away fast when that is not possible. Or remove you from our lives and hide you from the demons and angels that will come for us." When she had finished she sat down and waited for their answers.
Kate stood pacing. Benji was pulling at his hair Elliot was looking at his wife and children and Ray was staring at Carla smiling. "How long do we have to make the choice?" Benji spoke she knew that he was angry about everything but it crushed her that he had to think about it. She saw movement behind Beal as Zeus appeared clearly just to her.
"You need to make the choice now." She knew that was why he was here and she knew they had no more time to think.
"Why the fuck do we have to make it now?" Kate had stopped pacing and looked at her confused.
"Because he is here and he needs your answers." Everyone started looking around the room she knew they wouldn't see him.
"You can't see him he can't show himself until you have decided. Kate yes or no to Immortality?"
"Yes." Ana smiled feeling relieved.
"Elliot?"
"Well we know I am saying yes I won't lose my family." She smiled and nodded.
"Benji?" He looked up and she could see fear on his face.
"Yes." His voice was barely a whisper. She looked to Ray who just smiled and nodded. She had never felt such relief.
"Good I need you all to stand for me together everyone else move back a little. I promise you once this is done everything will be ok." She smiled encouragingly " Zeus come let's get this done."
Zeus stepped forward still only being seen by her. "You're getting bossy aren't you" He was laughing and she couldn't help the chuckle back. Her family looking at her like she was crazy because of course they couldn't see or hear him.
He held her hand and the room filled with light blinding everyone but them. "Are you ready my Queen to bring your family into your world." She could feel the excitement build as she nodded her head
She could feel the power that they were pushing in to her human family. She tasted it on her tongue it was intoxicating and addictive and strong. Their hands shot forward the light bursting a fresh from their out stretched hands hitting her family in their chest. They bowed backwards and glowed a little there eyes closed and mouths open. She knew they weren't in pain because she could feel everything they felt, but the feeling would be over whelming for them.
Once they stopped floating and glowing she smiled knowing she would never lose any of them. Everyone opened their eyes as the light in the room dimmed looking over to her, who they would now be seeing in her true form. They could also see Zeus stood next to her.
"I am sure you all know who I am and I know each of you so no need for introductions. Ava sweet child how are you feeling?" She shrank away from him as his voice echoed around the room. She didn't answer but when she saw Abigail and Theo run over to him she watched with interest as he crouched down to pick them up.
"Ava child I am no threat to any of you so do not fear me. I just know that what has happened to you tonight was probably overwhelming." Ava sat forward a little more with a little more confidence showing.
"I'm good thank you, it didn't hurt or anything and I promise I won't tell anyone anything." The pride at Ava's bravery swelled in Ana's chest as she watched her beautiful niece talk.
"Good Ana and Christian and his brothers not to mention Carla and Huldah will help you learn what you can do. Ana you have your tasks but first I am sure you are eager to collect Lilith and give her the punishment she truly deserves."
Ana smiled up at him "Oh I will be giving her exactly what she deserves tomorrow trust me. Keep her comfortable for me until I can come and drag her back to hell would you?" She this is a sickly sweet sarcastic tone that had Zeus throwing his head back with laughter jiggling the twins around who were still in his arms.
"Oh I did make a good choice with you didn't I my Queen." He looked back to Ava smiling. "Well it has been a pleasure meeting you all properly. Ray make her happy she is very dear to me" he winked at Carla as he said this. "I am going to take my leave Ana see you tomorrow I will be waiting in the throne room to take you to Lilith I bid you all good night" With that he kissed the twins on the cheek and put them down before he was gone.
"Ok who's Lilith and what did she do or what are you going to do." Izzy was looking at her questioningly.
"Let's enjoy the night just trust me when I say she did something unforgivable and will pay dearly tomorrow. I will explain more when we are not in the company of children." Izzy agreed and Ana sat on the sofa Exhausted and relieved. She glamoured a glass of Jack Daniel's drinking it before glamoring another without thinking. She just needed something to take the edge of the day they had had.
She took another smaller drink then looked up to seeing everyone looking at her. "WHAT? you can do it as well jeez I have had a really stressful day I think I have earned it."
"Ana believe me you have earned it we just want to know how to do it so that we can." Elliot was laughing now.
"Oh yeah sorry I didn't think, sorry guys. Izzy honey you can't do it yet neither can the two little ones but you will when I find your powers. The rest of you think about what you want and think about it being in your hand and it will be that's the best way to explain it to you. Elliot make sure you get the kids and Izzy a drink."
She rested her head on Christians shoulder who was now sat next to her. She was so happy that this part was over.
