The Batman Trailer
"Bye." Ruby waved along with everyone else as the other Rubys walked through a portal that would lead them back to their universes.
"Bye!" Yang exclaimed.
"Bye, have beautiful time!" Taiyang exclaimed with a thumbs up as he continued to wave with a grin.
Iron Rose was the last to go through as she winked at them and the portal dissipated while Nanny Glynda begrudgingly swept up the last remnants of the party.
"Man those guys are a blast!" Sun exclaimed with a grin.
"Yeah, I can't believe they- I mean I, could be the life of a party." Ruby corrected.
Yang hugged Ruby as she frizzled her hair "Believe it Rubes!"
"Yang! Let me go!" Ruby shouted as she struggled to get out of her grip.
"Won't bringing all those Ruby Rose's cause some kind of multiversal catastrophe?" Ozpin asked as he looked at Bill.
"Nah, they won't remember a single thing about what happened here and they'll just go back to the exact moment they're stories were playing out." Bill explained as those who listened nodded in understanding.
"So you did basically kidnap them." Kali said as she gave Bill a dull look.
Bill shrugged "Believe what you want."
"Phew! Finally finished." Nanny Glynda said with a proud smile at the now clean room.
"Finally." Bill said.
Bill snapped his fingers and they were all teleported back onto their seats with refilled beverages and popcorn.
"So we're still watching like normal?" Yang asked.
"Yup! This one is gonna be about a man who has as much stories as he does money, so to speak." Bill said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Weiss asked with a raised eyebrow.
Bill spun the remoted and started the trailer "Just watch."

The sounds of tape rang out as another title was shown

"DC?" Blake questioned.
"What could it mean?" Yatsuhashi questioned.
"Why do I get the feeling this is just as important as Marvel." Nora muttered with a hum.
A woman in a mask was shown kneeling over a man's body as he stretched out more of the tape then ripped it off.
"Well this is a depressing start." Ironwood commented.
"What's he gonna do with that guy?" Oscar asked.
"Hide the body, make a statement, preserve it as a trophy, the possibilities are endless." Tyrian listed with a twisted smile.
"How quaint." Hazel said as he rolled his eyes at Tyrian.
"I regret asking now." Oscar said as he made sure to stop looking at Tyrian, he didn't wanna deal with that nut job.
The man's body was shown now sitting on a chair with tape covering his entire face with the words 'NO MORE LIES' written in red on the tape.
"Looks like the work of a serial killer with a message." Clover analyzed.
"That's not good." Qrow commented as he sipped on his beer.
"Or a liberator who is tired of the lies that society has been feeding everyone." Raven said with a shrug which surprised a few.
"I thought you hated politics?" Vernal asked.
"I hate politicians," Raven reiterated "I despise politics."
"What's the difference?" Neptune whispered to Sun who shrugged as he too didn't know.
Taiyang was shown walking down a hallway with police men parting for him to pass as they looked behind him which signified that there was another person walking with him.
"From your secret friend," Taiyang started as the police investigated the crime scene.
"Ooh, so dad is a cop again." Yang said as she thought back to the Qrow Branwen universe.
"I do like a man in uniform~" Raven said as she smirked at Taiyang who widened his eyes and blushed as he awkwardly chuckled while looking away from a pouting Summer and towards Qrow for some kind of help.
Qrow didn't even look at him as he said "You thought with your dick, so now you get to sit there and look like a prick."
"Ha! I'm totally using that!" Mercury exclaimed with a laugh.
"Who," Taiyang continued as he looked around then up at the roof as black boots approached him and stopped "Haven't a clue."
"Oh god, why does this sound like a riddle?" Coco said with a grimace.
"Not a fan?" Velvet asked.
"Not by a long shot." Coco said as she shook her head, riddles were always too confusing for her.
A flashlight shined to a lot of newspapers pasted onto the walls with the words 'LIES' written over them.
"This universe's society must be corrupt as hell." Emerald said.
"Aren't they all?" Cinder asked rhetorically.
"Let's play a game, just me and you." Taiyang finished as he opened a card then looked at his anonymous friend "Any of this mean anything to you?"
Taiyang asked as he held up the card with the words 'TO THE BATMAN' written on them.
"To the bat man?" Weiss asked.
"What's a bat man?" Jaune asked in confusion.
A man in an armored suit that was all black with a long black cape, bat like ears and a bat symbol on his chest approached Taiyang slowly. This was the goddamn Batman.
"Oh…so that's a Batman." Nora said as she nodded in understanding.
"Does he not realize how ridiculous he looks?" Watts asked as he was unimpressed.
"Seriously who is this loser?" Cardin asked as he couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of Batman.
"While his appearance is a bit standoffish, he does hold an intimidating presence to him." Ozpin said as he looked over Batman.
"I'm just happy this is another superhero one." Ruby said.
"Or supervillain, he looks like no hero I've ever seen." Weiss said as she felt uneasy about Batman's appearance
"We'll just see what he does then." Pyrrha said with a positive outlook "Maybe he's not as bad as we think."
"Maybe." Ren said.
Port was shown standing in front of a crowd as camera's flashed on him while a man with blonde hair and black eyeliner watched on from afar then a helmet was shown being put on as the man rode his motorcycle on a desolate road and into a large cave.
"You're becoming quite a celebrity." Jacques said as the man took off his helmet.
"Blonde hair, blue eyes? I think we know who this is." Yang said with a smirk.
"That can't be me can it?" Jaune asked in surprise.
"Anything's possible Arc, anything's possible." Scarlet said with chuckle.
A crowd was shown running as Jaune looked passed them and ran towards a boy and tackled him to the ground and out of the way of a speeding car that crashed into a building pillar. A man came out with a yellow note addressed to the Batman taped to his chest as Jaune glared at the note.
"That was close." Winter said with a relieved sigh.
"Good job Mister Arc." Glynda said with a smile at the show of heroics.
"This might've been his fault though," Roman said "I mean the message was clearly made out to him, casualties be damned."
"Whoever this Jaune's up against, is someone who's not afraid to hurt people so that they can get to Jaune." Blake said.
"I don't want people to get hurt because of me!" Jaune exclaimed in shock.
"I don't think you have a choice buddy." Saphron said as she pats his back.
"Don't you mean, The Batman." Yang exclaimed as he made horns with her fingers in a joking manner as Blake rolled her eyes.
"Why's she writing to you?" Jacques asked as a woman in black was shown sliding he way down into a building from the roof via rope and breaking into a safe with the top of her mask edging out and making her look if she had cat ears.
"I don't know!" Jaune exclaimed.
"He sees a challenge." Tyrian said with a chuckle.
"Who's the thief?" Yang asked.
"No idea." Blake said with a shrug.
Yang, Weiss and Ruby all looked each other in the eyes and back to Blake with 'really?' looks. Blake noticed them and glared with a hiss.
"Oh ha! Ha! Very funny! Get back to watching before I scar all of your faces with my claws!" Blake shouted which made the girls continue watching with fearful gulps.
People were shown outside in the rain as the camera switched to show Adam then the camera switched to show Batman looking over the city at night then men in clown makeup were shown looking towards something.
"If you are justice," Coco spoke as a fist was shown being slammed in a red room then Batman was shown fighting off the police as Taiyang pushed him back "Please do not lie."
"I mean if you really think about it, what is justice?" Robyn asked.
"You don't know what justice is?" Clover asked in amusement.
"Well do you? Everybody has their own form of justice, what makes yours the right one?" Robyn asked with a raised eyebrow and Clover blinked as he tried to come up with an answer.
"Well she got you there pal." Qrow said with a chuckle.
The thief was shown putting down her visor as she rode a motorcycle then Adam was shown shooting with his goons then the thief was shown fighting Batman.
"Well this Jaune's got a lot of shit to deal with huh?" Amber asked with wide eyes.
"Such a dark take on a superhero." Willow mumbled.
"What is the price for your," Batman was shown getting blown back by an explosion as the man was shown lifting the tape once more "Blind eye."
"I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm not gonna decipher that riddle." Coco said with a shiver.
"This child is trying to give me a heart attack!" Saphron exclaimed as she glared at Jaune who looked sheepish.
"Sorry…" Jaune said with an awkward smile.
"Blind eye?" Glynda questioned.
"Could be an allegory to his literal eyes or a metaphorical expression to something that cannot be seen." Ozpin said with a hum.
One of the men in makeup walked towards Batman with a certain swagger as he asked "The hell are you supposed to be?"
The man swung his pole at Batman but he caught his hand and gave him multiple punches and one that made an audible crack which indicated the moor man's nose must've broken but Batman didn't care as he kept going until the man was knocked down to the ground but that didn't stop Batman from punching even more as the other men in makeup looked on in fear.
"I'm Vengeance." Batman finally spoke in his deep, dark voice.
Everyone looked on with wide eyes and some even had their jaws dropped in shock at the brutality.
"Holy hell!" Mercury exclaimed.
"I love it!" Tyrian exclaimed in glee.
"Ok this Jaune is scary." Ruby said with a gulp.
"Imagine seeing your friend get brutalized like that? You know you can't do anything to that monster!" Neptune shouted.
"Are we sure he's a superhero!?" Weiss exclaimed in shock.
"Dude who hurt you?" Sun asked as he looked towards Jaune.
"This Jaune is awesome!" Yang exclaimed with a grin.
"I'm pretty sure that man's either dead or in a coma." Ironwood said.
"Sound like Batman's M.O" God Raven said with a chuckle.
"I think just being Spider-Man or Captain Vale." Jaune said as he had his eyes wide in shock.
A black armored car was shown igniting its exhaust with blue flames as its light turned on then slamming into a wall. Batman was shown recoiling from a gunshot then he was shown grappling up towards the roof.
"Well he's got the equipment, I'll give him that." Glynda said but she still disapproved of his methods.
"And a badass car!" Raven said with a smirk.
"It might not be his, this universe seems to be making an effort to remain ambiguous." Sienna said with narrowed eye.
"Ho!" Adam exclaimed as he looked at his rear view mirror with a grin "This guy's crazy!"
"You don't look at mirrors much do you?" Vernal asked as Adam growled at her smirk.
Batman was shown standing up in front of the men in makeup in an intimidating way.
THE BATMAN
"This was a very dark take on a superhero and I loved it." Salem said as she was interested in learning more about The Batman.
"I would call the name stupid but I don't want six different concussions thank you very much." Roman said with a chuckle as Neo silently giggled.
"You're a part of this too." Coco said as Batman was shown taking off his mask.
"How am I a part of this?" Jaune asked.
"You'll see." Coco responded as Jaune looked in all manners of the term, lost.
Bill floated up in front of them and flipped the remote "Well?"
"He's a superhero!?" Weiss exclaimed in shock.
"Not all superheroes are gonna be colorful and flashy, Ice Princess." Yang said as she looked back at Bill "I loved it, this Jaune was awesome."
"Yeah, Jaune Arc is The Batman!" Ruby said as she tried to emulate his dark voice.
"Well yes and no." Bill responded.
"Huh?" Nora asked which was precisely the question that ran through everyone's minds.
"Ok look there are two main superhero universes, the Marvel one and the DC one. Marvel may be crazy but they keep it contained in some form but DC has so many multiverses that even I get tired of keeping track of them." Bill explained.
"Marvel and DC…" Winter said with a hum.
"Two clashing titans that have caused so many arguments and wars just to see which is better." God Raven said.
"This Batman I just showed you is a completely different one, there will be others with different people who hold the moniker and other superheroes." Bill explained.
"I don't get it." Ruby said in confusion.
Bill sighed "I showed you one Batman out of a thousand other Batmen with similar lives but slight differences."
"This is really confusing but I think I'm getting it." Blake said.
"So Jaune is Batman but there could be someone else in the DC multiverse who is also Batman." Ruby said it more to herself than anybody else.
"Now you're getting it." Nanny Glynda said as she clapped her hands.
"Not really no." Ruby said as she shook her head.
"It'd be better to just show you instead, but I'll do that later." Bill said as he teleported to his seat "Oh Wonder Woman is part of the DC multiverse by the way."
"What!?" Pyrrha and half of the room exclaimed.
"Onto Marvel!" Bill exclaimed.
